I got Medallion Security to add security to my windows and I'm super happy with how it turned out! They worked really hard and the stuff they used is super strong. They talked to me the whole time and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

I had some trouble with my deck and needed some repairs done. I called Medallion Security Door & Window Company of MD Inc on May 18th, but didn't hear back from them until May 20th. When I finally got through, the person on the other end recognized me and put me on hold. I've had my deck since the end of 2018 and was told it was made with their best treated wood, but I've had to get it repaired multiple times since then. I've left messages with both the sales associate and the General Manager, but haven't heard back from anyone. I really need some help with this issue.

I called Medallion many times to fix my security door on the deck. The middle part holding the door broke from the door. It should be attached to the metal like the other two, but it seems to be flawed. Also, the handle on the outside of the door turned from gold to a dark gray. Additionally, I noticed several chips and imperfections in the fire pit, which I only used once. The door and fire pit are less than two years old and have lifetime warranties. The person who answers my calls says they don't have a schedule for repairs and doesn't know when someone will come out. Having a broken security door is a safety issue.

Medallion Security Door & Window Company of MD Inc took $1000 from my credit card without my permission. They were supposed to finance the remaining balance, but the financing was denied. I talked to an employee named *** and told her to return the $1000 and cancel my order because the financing was not approved. She said there were other options, but I didn't want my credit ran again. I told them to cancel my order and return all the unauthorized money. They ran my credit anyway and another person called and said "You're approved". I was angry and told them that I cancelled and they charged my card without my authorization. We had a shouting match over the phone and I hung up after telling them again to return the unauthorized money charged to my card.

I got a deal with Medallion (Ed Y) on January 15, to put up an aluminum fence at ***, Upper Marlboro, MD (attached). Medallion charged me $14,990 to put up 1 Aluminum Fence 240ft, 1 Decorative Fence, 37ft style ***, 4ft tall, 1 walk gate 4 ft tall, 6ft wide. No take down old fence. The fence was put up in March . I decided to make a change to the gate and the decorative fence. I wanted to change the gate to 6ft tall and 6ft wide and 6ft tall for the decorative fence. I signed a contract September 19, with Medallion (Ed Y) charged me $3,900 (attached). Medallion came out and put up the decorative fence and the gate January . They put up the wrong gate. The gate they put up was 6ft tall and 4ft wide. It was supposed to have been 6ft tall and 6ft wide. I have been sending text messages and e-mail for them to fix the problem. Nothing has been done. I am asking Medallion to put up the correct Gate 6ft tall and 6ft wide and adjust the payment.

I signed a contract and gave the company 1/3 deposit on a 400 ft. outdoor patio on March 11. They said they would start right away. I called them many times to ask when they would start. I talked to the sales person and two other managers, but they couldn't tell me when they would start. The second manager was rude and didn't listen to me. I called and emailed them, but I still haven't talked to the Regional Manager. The second manager said he would have the Regional Manager call me on April 19, but he didn't. I called and emailed them again on April 20. I want a full refund. I told the first manager about my problem with the sales person not telling me when they would start. I talked to her twice. I told her I would check with the D.C. permit to see if they filed a request for my property. I did that, but they didn't file anything as of April 19. I told both of them in an email, but they still couldn't tell me when they would start. I want my money back and I don't want to deal with this company anymore.

I'm writing this review because I had a bad experience with Medallion Security Doors & Windows. They installed 9 kitchen windows for me in July , but they started leaking just a few days later. I called the company and they sent someone to fix the problem, but it kept happening again and again. I had to call them multiple times and deal with the windows leaking off and on for months. They always had an excuse, like it was too cold to fix it properly or they needed to charge me a service fee. I refused to pay because they never installed the windows properly in the first place. It was a frustrating experience and I wouldn't recommend them.
