Domino's Pizza crust tastes like chapstick

I ordered a pineapple pizza from Domino's in Pembroke, NC and upon eating the crust of my first slice I discovered a taste like chapstick. I assumed maybe it was just the first slice that tasted weird, but three slices in, I'm skeptical of eating the remaining slices as the taste of chapstick is very unpleasant. Is there a new recipe that I'm unaware of that would cause a weird aftertaste? If not, this is very unsettling.

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy. We just ordered dominos and the pizza was making me feel sick. I kept thinking "that almost tastes like chapstick". So gross! I wonder what they changed that it tastes like chapstick now? I won't be eating dominos anymore. I'm in Wisconsin.

I've actually noticed this the past two times I've ordered from Domino's here in Alabama and actually just discovered this complaint while googling if anyone else had tasted the same thing! It's a very recent thing as well. I got some of their bread twists last week and noticed it then for the first time, the strange aftertaste of chapstick. Today I bought a pizza and got the same taste from the crust. They must have changed something with their dough!

I doubt it should taste like chapstick. I would take the pizza back with your receipt to the location of purchase.

Domino's Pizza dine in service

Domino's is my son's favorite pizza. We drove far away from where we lived to have our 1st dine in experience on Thursday 11/2/2017. It was VERY disappointing. The service was bad. There were several employees scurring around in the back yelling at each other. The female manager never greeted us. She scowled the whole time we were there & yelled at her staff. We received no plates or utensils with our dinner. I asked for pepper & crushed red peppers & was told there was an extra charge. I was SO disappointed. I use to work for Domino's in the late 80's. It's changed so much & not for the better. I think Domino's is trying to compete with Pizza Hut's dine in restaurant. Domino's needs to stick with delivery & carry out ONLY. We won't be back!

Domino's Pizza dominos delivery.

The app doesn't allow you to order pasta breadbowls if it's not without a credit card or even via phone. Why am I limited to what I want to order online when it's on the menu. I should be able to pay cash. Not just by card. Also when I called they said they don't prepare them if you go to the store and pay cash either. That's the most ridiculous thing ever. Your service is becoming worse and worse by the second . This sucks !

Domino's Pizza my whole experience

I ordered two pizzas, and an 8 piece boneless chicken for delivery on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 at about 6 pm, and was told it would take 30 minutes, I expected 45 minutes because it has never taken less time than that. An hour goes by, and I call the store to ask about my food that still has not arrived. Someone answered the phone, and told me that a manager had just walked out on them, and I was very understanding especially since I imagine that can be a stressful situation. Another 45 minutes go by and we still have not gotten our food. My boyfriend and I both work in food, and understand that it can be stressful to be understaffed, and be down a manager, but we were starting to get upset because it had almost been 2 hours, and there is really no excuse for that. When I called the 2nd time I was told that they were under staffed, and my food was ready, and just waiting to be picked up, and they promised it would take no more than 15 minutes. 20 minutes goes by and we still do not have our food, and I decide to call a 3rd time, and asked to talk to a manager. I was having a hard time understanding the man I was talking to, and told me that I would get a percent off of my next order if I just told the person I was talking to that. When I told him that 20 minutes had gone by since I last asked about my food and was told it was ready, I was sure that it would not be fresh anymore. He kept saying that "We always deliver fresh, and if your food is not warm when it gets there I will make you a new order and deliver it to you for free." Well if you ask me fresh, and warm are not the same thing, and when I tried expressing that he would not have it. When our food finally got to us over 2.5 hours later the girl delivering said it was her second day, and that there was a manager fired, and another walked out that day, and that one of the delivery guys had signed in as a manager to take care of some things. Which really upset me because I'm not really sure that the man I spoke to was really a manager. The food was good, but barely warm. I am asking to please be given a full refund. I do not want the percentage off or anything all we want is a refund of our money. Thank you very much for your time.

Domino's Pizza customer service

Today Thursday November 02, 2017 I went into the Dickerson pike location in Nashville, Tn. Anna (I believe she's the lead/ supervisor) asked one of the ladies to get my order while she was helping someone else. The other ladies laughed as if her asking them to take my order was unheard of. One of the ladies FINALLY came to the register to take my order, but her other co- worker comes with her and again they start laughing and joking (order still isn't placed😠) Now Im waiting for my order which took 30 minutes for 1 large pizza. They continue to play using tons of profanity, sexual ecplicits and even throwing things at each other. I reached a boiling point and told them all how unprofessional and rude they were being. I walked out VERY upset wanting to say the heck with the pizza. I let them all know that I will be in contact with corporate and no one even attempted to offer an apology. Their behavior was DISGUSTING! What's even more sad is I frequent this Dominos a lot and their behavior is ALWAYS inappropriate but tonight it was on a different level. Anna and their was a black male in the back were the only two who have good service the others need to be reprimanded asap! I definitely look forward to a response to my complaint. Sincerely,

Domino's Pizza service & not honoring my rewards of a free pizza

I called in my order for my free pizza due to earning enough rewards points...when the driver arrived (70 minutes later) he told me it was $3.81 for delivery fee. Well I had no cash on me at that time & why didn't they tell me that when I placed the order. I thought my pizza was FREE. Well he was rude & left with my pizza. I called the store to speak with manager but she could not even speak english. So I had no dinner last night. Now tonight I call the store to see if I can still get my so-called free pizza costing me $3.81 but no answer at all. It is 11:00 pm ...store hours are until midnight tonight. I called several times but no answer. Yea I am complaining!

Domino's Pizza pizza service

First off I am not a kid or a person looking for a free bee. This is not about money. I have been ordering pizza from dominos same town for almost 20 years. And frequency had clutches here and there. But today takes the cake. I ordered my regular pizza light sauce I have always ordered and person repeated order back to me. I arrived said pizza done 1 minute so quickly a little girl took my money. I waited 5 minutes and asked again told coming out. Another 5 minutes still no pizza. I know they forgot and made asap when arrived and lied to me. After making me angry and watching delivery drivers laugh and carry on about there delivery nd me getting more angry. Finally out it comes and than no sorry. They have the nerve to ask if I paid that is it over the top angry. If this ever happens again I am done with dominos

Domino's Pizza service not delivering to me after 6pm in my area

first they try n say ur oder will be more then a hour wait then they say we r to busy u wouldnt get ur order also they say they font deliver to my area at night i hate that i cant enjoy a pizza for my kids n husband now i order alot from dominoes n iam very upset about this to many lies n dissgrace for the company store its not my fault for what ever thier exscuse seems to be iam a dominoes lover n this breaks my heart n makes me not like dominoes on thousand oaks n nahcadoches like i wanted my family to eat pizza n my husband i didnt want to cook i cook 3 times a day every day its nice to have ur favorites pizza n sides delivered to my front door for us but i cant even get that any more its so very frustrating i jst called again for a order n they say no we cant deliver to u because ur area is bad for our store at night. god this makes me so angry i jst wanted to eat me n my husband where counting on u i guess we will starve then for now on ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh cant stand this store n how they work

Domino's Pizza not honoring coupons

I have a wildlife coupon for dominos and they absolutely refused to honor it. They said that the wildlife learning center was "illegally" printing coupons and that they won't accept it. I officially HATE dominos and they are the only pizza place I'd eat at. No more pizza for me unless it's Digirno. Can't go wrong when I'm the one cooking. Shame!

Dominos freaking sucks!

Domino's Pizza pizza and the employees are the worst talking to people

Every time I order from the store my pizza takes over an hour and 45 minutes to get here its even burnt or is not the right pizza and it's like the 3rd 4th time and I'm just getting tired of it so I suggest somebody please contact the store and talk to him. Domino's Pizza service

I called to place an order and placed on hold immediately. After waiting 15 minutes on hold I called back...same thing...called back and hollered hey to get her attention to let her know I'd held for close to 30 minutes so she proceeds to tell me that I may as well come in to order because I'm still going to be waiting! So I asked if a manager was there and she says...I am the manager. Well darn for a manager she could have had better customer service than that. So at that point I didn't even want to spend my hard Well money there. I just called pizza hut

Domino's Pizza I am complaining about not getting my free pizza

So I ordered Domino's earlier today at work for a coworker and myself. When I arrived home I decided I'd like to order some more Dominos cuz my sister came over . now it showed on the screen that I had a free pizza to redeem and I did. When I arrive to the store it show that there was two pizzas on my order but I know for a fact I only ordered one pizza and that was the one free pizza. so I was expecting the total to be $1 and some change because that's what my total came up to on my cell phone when I ordered. I kindly describe to the person who was in charge of my order that I did not order this other pizza so I'd like to redeem my free pizza and just go she told me I was unable to do so because I was being charged for the other piece of which I did not order. I told her that I would not be paying for the pizza and she did not want to hand me over my free medium Pizza I told her that I'd pay the remaining balance for my free pizza but I was not going to pay for the other one. she told me since I am canceling the other order she would have to charge me now for the free pizza which would be $9 and some change I told her no I would not be paying for that and I left. I would like my points back on my account for my free pizza because I did not receive any pizza. so if that could happen that would be extremely good cuz I have obviously been buying here for a long time and I'd like my free pizza.

Domino's Pizza ordering food!!!

I called Dominos Pizza in Waterbury Ct at 77 Meriden Rd. 10 times and they finally answered the phone and said cld u hold! Well I've been holding for 30 minutes and no one has gotten back to me for my order! This is unprofessional and not right at all! Who ever is working there does this on the day to day basis and this is not the first time it happened! I will appreciate if u can take care of this and email me with the results at [protected]@gmail.com.

I run my local dominoes. What you need to do, instead of complaining on this forum, is file a formal complaint with corporate via their website. Your complaint will be handled by a corporate employee, above store level. The complaint will also be forwarded to the owner and supervisor of that specific franchisee. Not only are the corporate employees great at handling your concerns, somebody from that franchise is required to contact you, to follow up on the issue. As a general manager, I find this completely unacceptable and I would never allow my staff to do this and get away with it. Go above their head, sometimes that's the only way.

Domino's Pizza pizza and coupons

We ordered a coupon 14.99 large 3 topping pizza with 16 piece bread bites. I also ordered a 2 liter coke. Well the order came we got the pizza which was under cooked and floppy 2 liter coke and no bread bites. I called the store and they told me i didn't order the bread bites and they wouldn't replace the pizza. I spent 25 dollars and 30 cents on an order that was incomplete and badly made. I want my money back.

Hello sir am from kerala india today i had a bad experience from one of your franchise which is situated at palakkad kerala india. Today i bought a pair of pizza which cost inr 1200 and they are not able to give a free ketchup with this . And i just paid for the ketchup too and even for the bag. And also the taste was so bad and their service too. Sorry to say that sir because of this i hate domino's.

Domino's Pizza delivery time

Almost every time I order pizza the delivery is not never on time or they get my order messed up. Out of all days today was some type of family gathering and I didn't see my family and almost 5 years. And now that my friend one has finally left I'm sitting down eating two packs of ramen noodles. I am not wasting the time of my life to go up there in the morning to get a free pay for no I don't want no more pizza. It's to the point where I think it's my fault for calling Domino's. I have to go to work in the morning I'm not going there to talk about a delivery. I am just going to make a complaint and hope that there are so many complaints that. Damn place get shut down

Domino's Pizza pizza

I have been working all day and was looking forwards sitting down for dinner with my partner for a nice pizza from Dominos Kirkwood store, Gladstone. In Queensland Australia and when I opened the box i got a rude surprise that my pizza had the topping spread all over the place and scrunched up into the corner of the box! I am thouroughly dis-appointed as I can not drive, I live out of town and no easy way to get dinner for myself. Whatsmore I paid Twenty Seven dollars for the pizza and I even gave the delivery man a tip of 4 dollars. I dont like submitting complaints about this but I paid good money for a bad service. Please note this for future dealings with the public thank you Dominos.

Domino's Pizza delivery

We ordered the pie at 11:30. This [censor] charles didn't get here until 12:45. He wasn't very friendly and made me feel uncomfortable also my pizzas weren't even cut. What the [censor] I was very unsatisfied with the uncut pizza and the time it took to get it. My pizza was rock hard and crunchy. I don't understand why my complaint needs to be 350 letters. I demand my money back!

Domino's Pizza customer service

Hello, my name is Wendy Davis. I live in Tinton Falls New Jersey and often order from the Dominos on Asbury Ave in Tinton Falls. The past couple times that I have ordered from there the people that work there have been rude. For instance I asked for extra sauce because whenever they are supposed to send it they never do and I got charged an extra $10 on my bill. And I told myself I would never order from there again because every single time I have a problem. But of course tonight my kids really wanted Dominos so I gave in and ordered one large 2 topping pizza, an order of cheesy bread for 17.99. So I ordered another cheesy bread and three lava cakes. The bill was 50 something dollars. 5 minutes didn't even go by and I called them back because I found a coupon and all I said was I found a coupon for two medium two-topping Pizza one stuffed cheesy bread in a 2 liter bottle of coke for 2199. The girl says to me well your food's already in the oven there's nothing we could do. Now I've worked in retail my whole life and as a manager I would never ever say that to a customer. Not only have I had problems but my neighbor always has problems. But as a customer they should have said okay you have a coupon the only other thing they had to add was another Pizza. How hard is that to throw it in the oven and fix whatever they had to do on the computer. I just want to let you know that I will never be ordering from you guys again because of this particular store. And a couple months ago I had to call and complain because one of the delivery drivers was driving up my [censored] and almost ran me off the road. And he still works for you guys so I can imagine how many other people he's doing that till. The road I was going down was 25 mph and I was going 35mph. My kids were in the car with me. When I spoke to the manager I told him he was driving a silver Toyota Camry. Before I even said the make of the vehicle he said I know exactly who it is. I'll have a talk with him. He said he was very sorry! Also, awhile back I kept calling the store and calling the store and calling the store to order food and nobody would answer. Finally I called the Eatontown store and they actually were nice enough to drive out to my house to deliver to me and that's 15 minutes away. I don't usually like complaining but so many things have happened at this location I just can't sit back anymore. I just don't want you guys to keep losing customers because the employees don't wanna do what they were hired to do! I'm sorry if I am being blunt but I'm annoyed and upset. Domino's Pizza dominos management/employees

Everytime I go into my local dominos, (highway 99 in Vancouver wa in hazel dell) I hear the manager (maybe boss) Amy, blabbering about her political opinions, more than one occasion do I hear her nearly bragging that she’s been raped, and says woman should be allowed to hit men. This is disgusting behavior and i would hate to know what else these people discuss while customers are not in the shop. I’d also like to know how this is appropriate to even discuss in a work place.
