Gold rush white water has been pulled from its normal programing on Friday nights in the middle of season of the show and after watching Gold rush from its first season and watching it faithfully for years to stop Parr of it whiteout playing out the season is very frustrating!

Why should people get invested in a show if this is something that Discovery is going to do.

Your discovery channel is terrable channel to watch the music is so loud that you cannot hear what people are saying i don't understand why you play music that loud surly you must know if you watch the gold mining shows that you put on the air they are not worth watching because of the loud music there is nothing wrong with music if its not so loud i called in two weeks ago about the same problem but you never changed its still to loud so what is it going to take for you to change.

why do you as discovery have to make it drama in every episode. Rather it being gold rush or bearing sea gold? every episode i have watched it was either something went wrong with the equipment or something wrong with the crew. It is getting old because with every episode i can predict what is going to happen. I know this is a show and that the crew gets paid but to me it is like a movie instead of watching a reality show...that is why i do know watch this crap anymore because it is nothing but drama

After watching the last episode of Bering Sea gold, I am disgusted that the discovery would promote the violence on this show! Enough of the Kelly's! this is what is wrong with this country, promoting low lives like this. You never see this on gold rush, that's why the Kelly's are not on it they can't claim jump someone's land on that show. I'm sure Shawn is no angel, but I've been watching this show since the beginning and one thing is for sure he is a hard worker you don't need to show parasites like the Kelly's benefitting from his hard work. Thats not a message you should be showing to this country. HARD WORK is where you reap the benefits. Thats why Parker is a hit on gold rush the kid doesn't play around and works dam hard, and it has paid off for him. You don't see him trying to mooch off Tony he works hard. So please remove the Kelly's from the show they are disgusting, and if you don't, I will start complaining to your sponsors.

Sadly, dropping my discovery Channel simply because of the vulger, disgusting commercials. I don't see such pathetic commercials on other channels. Too bad there's so many interesting family shows that have no relationship to your programming. And wonderful there are so many other channels that fill that agenda just fine without the trash commercials. Almost as if you had an agenda... goodbye

The commercials you accept on your channels are disgusting trash. Why can't I watch decent programming on Discovery, such as dirty jobs, Alaska bush people, etc without seeing transvestites, guys, lesbians, sex smut advertising? Most other networks know better. Can't you understand children watch these shows. It's a shame either your agenda, or corporate greed allow the garbage advertising HBO/ Max are peddling.

During regular intervals of broadcast your channel has found itself broadcasting an Apretude HIV drug commercial, I understand the need for the advertisement and the community it targets but the commercial is off-putting and disgusting. Completely unnecessary. I’m just about ready to start watching another network than keep running into this commercial.

Discovery on demand has been showing male homosexual commercials as of late.

The males are touching and displaying rather vulgar acts of homosexuality.My family is traumatized by the display of this behavior. The powers that be just can't assume that their audience will be OK with this soft core homosexual pornography. I've turned discovery on demand off but this still angers me that one is "forced" to watch the flith because of no fast forward or rewind in demand commercials. Discovery is already "inclusive" by showing homosexual innuendo in commercials that it broadcasts already. If this is a queer company, just say so the rest of the nation can avoid these channels also.

I was watching Discovery channel with my 4 young daughters ranging in age from 7-13 when an ad came on for "Apretude" an HIV drug. I cannot recall the time and it should not matter anyway. The ad show men being intimate and my daughters were very uncomfortable through the whole ad. At the end of the ad it shows 2 men kissing each other... HOW SICK ARE YOU PEOPLE? Really you allow this on cable channels that I pay good money to watch? There are other ways of advertising this crap without the blatant display of homosexuality. I will be cancelling my Plus subscription and will likely ban your channel from my TV if this ad is not removed within the next 2 weeks. Stop showing these ads.. it is sickening and contributes to the downfall of mankind..

Assistance needed on my Discovery life policy. I applied for my policy on the 7th of September 2020, but my policy only commenced on 1st April 2021. The necessary tests were done with me advising of my thyroid being removed in 2013. Due to my thyroid problem, I have abnormal blood pressure but however was not confirmed to be diagnosed with high blood pressure by the doctor to my knowledge. Based on abnormal blood pressure results repeated blood pressure tests were done by Discovery before commencing my cover. Which I had declared to the nurse that I take Amlodipine 10mg daily. Thereafter my policy commenced on 1st April 2021with Discovery having been given that information and Discovery conducting several tests. On 23rd May 2021 I requested an increase to my cover. To my knowledge there was no change to medical information. Discovery granted the upgrade without requesting any medical examinations being done. Although they had records of my abnormal blood pressure results. In June 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 5 renal failure. So, on the 4th of July 2022 I submitted a claim for assessment. Discovery requested the necessary medical files from the hospital which was given to them. On 5th August 2022 after the assessment was done for my claim, the decision was taken by Discovery to void my policy reason was they said they did not receive all important medical information. I then requested a review in which the outcome of the review was given to me on the 25th of August 2022 which the decision remained the same that the policy will remain voided. In the first assessment it stated that I did not disclose proper medical information about my blood pressure. The review outcome states based on abnormal blood pressure readings; repeated blood pressure test was done an I disclosed to the nurse that I am on Amlodipine 10mg daily but however did not give proper medical information. So therefore, the policy has been voided. With regards to my renal failure there was no confirmation until I was diagnosed in June 2022. Same has my blood pressure I was told that my thyroid was the cause of escalated blood pressure but was not diagnosed. Discovery having a record of my blood pressure testing that was done by them still did not request for any medicals to be done when I requested an increase on policy but granted the increase. Now, had requested a claim on my policy, they have found faults a voided my cover. Also, would like to add that if I had not requested a claim on the policy, Discovery would not have voided it they would have still been accepting my premiums. Now that I have requested a claim, they are finding faults to have the policy voided. Which was not an issue before. I would like to know if there is any way of me being assisted in getting my life cover back.

Please take note I cannot add the attachments off discovery which they stated that they void the policy.

I did email ombudsman today 18.10.2022 for assistance.

I am shailee an resident from India and an a follower of discovery channel and discovery plus. I admire most of your content that you bring to the viewers accept one thing that I came across accidentally. I came across the documentory on Robert doll and since then experiencing some strange things in past 24 hours. Although the documentory states that viewers have to obey certain rules in museum while seeing the doll I truely feel that it affects the viewers watching him online or on tv as well. I deeply request you to take down from your channel because I feel that Robert has human nature and instincts and would not like to be defamed and Robert would never like people having negative thoughts about his actions and his background. I also wonder people who part of the crew filmed and edited this entire doc are still doing well or not.

I do not have the login details to the channel, my previous subscription has long since expired so it can’t be an automatic renewal.

If I try to open the app on my fire stick I am asked to login and I do not have those details anymore so this is obviously a mistake or my account has been hacked:

The use of xenophobic and bigoted language should not be permitted on this channel that I love. Why would broadcasters permit phrases such as "illegal aliens" instead of undocumented immigrants? Is the network trying to lose customers? This language is not only divisive but it also unwarranted.

There is no need to include specific dates since these are daily and nightly occurences.

i have been a subscriber to discovery+ for over a year now & really like nature shows & home builder shows. these are streamed on a windows 10 computer using the brave browser.

around the end of july the streaming of discovery became a problem. initially the shows became very blurry. at some point the shows would slow down & freeze. so i switched to vivaldi browser which worked better for a week. then the same thing happened - streaming became a problem.

finally the load_failed error message began to show when attempting to stream any content.

i contacted discovery+ support. after trying everything they suggested, nothing changed. the same results are on my system using windows 10, linux, chromebook, & various browsers on the windows 10 & linux computers.

i even changed DNS server configurations in the gateway. nothing made a difference. the point is that NO other streaming services are problematic on my system. all others work fine.

this can only mean that the streaming problems are discovery+ related.

finally i canceled my service.

Some of the ads in Discovery+ are highly inappropriate. Especially the ad by Venus about public hair. That isn't an ad that should be shown at any time. I find it very offensive. Also,.I have 3 grandchildren under the age of 8, 2 girls and I boy. None of them need to see this on T.V.. When the time comes, their mother will explain that to them. It isn't your business to usurp her.

I understand that in nature animals are prey. I fount it very poor taste to show a seal injured so bad. I found even more distasteful that they continued to film it suffer, bitten again, suffer some more and then finally get eaten by another shark. Yes it happens, we all know this! I turned it off and didn’t watch anymore Shark Week.

When you started Shark Week it was to learn about sharks. While you still do that your venture into [censored] has given a different perspective.

I have been a fan of Shark Week for several years. I am also an avid scuba diver and have been diving with the Great Whites in Guadelupe Island as a result of watching Shark Week. Tonight's program hosted by Tracy Morgan in my opinion was terrible and served to cast a horrible light on both Shark Week and the Discovery Channel. During his presentation he stated, "Anything that makes white people run out of the water is okay with me." That statement is racist and would not have been tolerated or allowed to be aired had a white man said, "anything that makes black people run out of the water is okay with me." I think both Mr. Morgan and the Discovery Channel owes America an apology for his racist remark.

Every year The Discovery Chanel has this big Shark Week extravaganza. Shows on big sharks, little sharks, jumping sharks, sharks on the hunt, etc. All the wonderful facts about the beautiful shark and how important they are to the ocean.

However, if you really want to raise real awareness about sharks, you should have a show on the plight of the shark and the practice of finning. I would venture to say that the majority of viewers have no idea what

'shark finning" is. Show your viewers footage of sharks being fished from the ocean, snatched up and have their fin sliced off only to be tossed back into the sea to die a slow and painful death. An estimated 100 million sharks a year fall prey to this horrible, and illegal act, I might add.

Show your viewers footage of rooftops covered with thousands of single fins drying in the sun that represent one shark each. Only to be cooked in soups or for "medicinal" uses.

If you really want people to enjoy sharks, educate them on how to save them from the plight that is overwhelming populations globally. And don't forget fish nets that catch everything indiscriminately.

Come on Discovery Channel. Live up to your eco-positive reputation and educate your viewers so we can make a change and save this spectacular creature.

On Little People Big World could you remove Caryn Chandler from the show so she is not receiving a income from TLC. If she wants to be with the family on her own that would be between the Roloff family & her. I think that TLC should focus on Matt & the Kids & how Matt inter acts with Amy & Chris at family functions. I like to see Chris & Amy💜grow.

I would like to suggest removing Caryn Chandler from the show watching her manipulate her way around everyone and divide a family is hard to watch. Let her have a relationship with Matt on his own behind the scenes. Let the family deal with her behind the scenes. On camera I would like to see more of Matt dealing with his family on his own. It would be so much better for him and than his dealing with his family without Caryn's chiming. It would be so much better if Matt with Amy, Chris, kids with their family where dealing with each other on scenes. If you could show Caryn more behind the scenes without talking. It would so much better to listen to Matt talk with his family on his own. I think this would be healthier for the whole family to separate working life that you get paid for from family life you have to deal with on a daily bases.
