I received an immediate response letting me know it would be looked into. I even got a follow up stating that the publisher should be reaching out to me shortly. He had not received anything by early November so I contacted the customer service department. The next day I received a response and turns out I had the wrong house number on the order form. They quickly corrected it with no fuss. Im very impressed with them and would not hesitate to order from them again. 100% satisfied.

I contacted customer support and they were exceptional and relentless in pursuing a resolution to the issue. I've used discountmags.com for years to save money on my subscriptions. This time, there was a ***-up in one of the renewals and it was cancelled by their wholesaler. Initially it looked like reordering would more than triple the price of the subscription. But their great customer service reps figured out a way to get me the subscription at an even LOWER price than my previous, and one that included hardcopy as well as *** came out way ahead on this!
I wanted to buy a gift subscription for a friend overseas. (I'm in the United States) I did, and was asked via email if I wanted to include a personal message with the email announcing the gift subscription. Absolutely! I composed it and the customer service representative expedited the process, proving to be very helpful, friendly, and polite! Needless to say, I'll be returning to shop at DiscountMags.com.

They are using Covid 19 as the excuse. We all know Covid 19 delays were well know before the Fall of 2019. I had to cancel a two year gift subscription after the first year. I was aware that in doing so, I would not receive a refund since I was six months past the cut off date. I was pleasantly surprised by their response time, less than 24 hours, and their offer to set up a gift certificate to their website for the remaining balance of the original gift subscription. Once I sent agreement to this offer, their turn around response time was, again, the very next day. I truly appreciate good customer service!

Purchased a subscription to a magazine on 10/31 for $27.99. Was told first issue would be received in *** weeks. That came and went. Reached out to company in Feb 2022 4 months later and was told it was the publishers fault they would reach out. Then was told first issue was mailed 2/17 and would take 2-3 weeks. Mind you I ordered 10/32! It's now March 4, 2022 and still no magazine received. I have cancelled and requested a full refund. Worse experience ever and I've ordered many magazines from other companies.

I experienced exactly such service when I reached out to Discount Mags to confirm the CC or PayPal on file. I was gratified on two fronts. Melody was very personable and helpful by email. The other bonus was unexpected. I had forgotten that my Economist digital subscription was under "Discount Lock". This meant I was about to receive the same great rate for another year. If everything goes well on renewal next week, then A+.

Apparently, I had authorized the renewal and they had sent an email informing me of the upcoming charge. Although I couldn't find this email, I do believe they sent it and they did offer a full refund.Everything was handled professionally and to my satisfaction! This is a horrible company to do business with. I ordered two magazine subscriptions on Dec. 11, 2020 and it's March 13 and I have not received either one of them. To make matters worse, there's no phone number to call them and they don't respond to email requests, even though they say they will within 3-5 business days. They just send automated messages blaming COVID-19 for all the delays and non-response. I will never do business with them again unless they resolve my issues. I would give zero stars if I could. Buyer beware.

Can't say enough about the customer service team at this company. Been a customer for over 5 years and while I have had issues receiving my magazines, its always an issue with the publisher, rather than DiscountMags. They always respond quickly and contact the publisher to rectify the issue. If the issue doesn't get resolved, they always do what's right. I've tried several purchasing from a couple other sites and no one's customer service is as good as ***. A magazine is a magazine but not all customer service is created equal.

Discount mags allows itself up to 12 weeks for the first issue arrive, which is lengthy by any standards, but that 3-month deadline passed long ago. I've emailed customer service several times to ask them to look into it. Generally there is a promise to get make enquiries and get back to me within days. Still no answer. If for whatever reason Discount Mags cannot provide the magazines, it should say so and refund the money.

After serveral attempts to resolve issue after waiting 4 months for magazine to show up Discountmags.com did nothing to resolve my issue. I ended up filing a dispute with my credit card who refunded my money but Discountmags.com says the dispute is still open because I went throught my CC company. That person never received the b-day greeting so I was suspicious and did some digging. There is no way to contact DiscountMags.com - no email, phone number, etc.. on their website. If you contact Discount Magazine, they will tell you they get *** calls per day on the scam DiscountMags.com is running. Luckily the transaction was only 2 days old and I was able to cancel the payment and block them from my credit card. *** told me I 'm not the only one complainting about DiscountMags.com. They said they will put them on their warning list. AVOID DiscountMags.com!

I have 3 charges on my bank account that showed differently. I couldnt even communicate with email as my mail to customer service kept getting returned as failed even though it was the same customer service address I mailed to a few days earlier. Difficult as it was found phone number for customer service and spoke to *** who in a few moments found the problem and corrected it after working with the email address recommended and got no results. I've been a customer for many years and receiving New Yorker flawlessly for many years until covid. In fact I had issues receiving many magazines. Whether it was *** delays because of the cluster F they created or publishers shutting down or going digital for a period of time. It's easy to blame the company you purchase from but i know them to be a small family owned business that strives to make the best out of a bad situation. Yes "Covid" is an excuse, just like it is for the thousands of restaurants and other businesses that are impacted. We are all impacted but trolling and leaving terrible reviews doesn't serve anyone.

At the end of December I ordered the New Yorker for my mother. It should have tacked on to the end of her current subscription, which ended in February . At the end of March no issues had been arrived. I renewed her subscription directly with the New Yorker, for a better deal, and DiscountMags, to their credit, very politely gave me a full refund. I guess these things come up, and I would have given three stars, but I had to come here to Complaintsboard.com to find any kind of a number for DiscountMags. DiscountMags seems to be trying to do good business, but there are some problems right now, and it will be a long time before I try ordering through them again.

So, I ordered a magazine for my mother-in-law from DiscountMags back in March. I was hoping to surprise her with it on Mother's Day, but boy was I wrong. It took almost five months for the magazine to finally arrive on August 7, 2020. I was starting to think it was never going to come! But, hey, better late than never, right?
Despite the long wait, my mother-in-law was thrilled to finally receive her gift. She's been enjoying the magazine ever since. I have to say, the selection of magazines on DiscountMags is pretty impressive. They have everything from fashion and beauty to sports and fitness. And, the prices are definitely affordable.
The only downside to my experience with DiscountMags was the long wait time. I understand that things are a bit crazy right now with the pandemic and all, but five months is a bit excessive. I would have appreciated some communication from the company regarding the delay. But, hey, at least the magazine eventually arrived.

In December *** I ordered two separate subscription magazines one to be sent to my daughter and one to be sent to my daughter-in-law they both shouldve been mailed to them in January and February they never received the magazines the company will not email me back or answer me I cannot get a hold of anyone they dont answer their phones it just goes to a voicemail Ive sent thousands of emails Ive called hundreds of times and they will not send the magazines and they will not answer me

On 01/07 I placed order# LH4687283 with DiscountMags.com for a 2 year renewal of my subscription to The New Yorker. I paid the $153.55 I was charged with PayPal. When I still had not received a single issue of the magazine by April 9th, I sent them an email. They responded by saying it takes a while and the magazine should arrive between 04/01 and 04/29. When I still hadn't received my magazine by May 14th, I again contacted them, and they said they would look into it. I contacted them on May 16th and then again on May 23rd. They have done nothing except take my money. At this point I want an immediate (not delayed) refund so I can pursue other means of subscribing to this magazine.

I started to attempt to secure a renewal to my *** around June 12, 2022. Almost all transactions by internet are limited and not complete or organized. Therefore a potential customer never as assurance that their transaction has been completed and if it is accurately documented. Any communication is simplest vis web, but it is never clear. Then they send automatic messages that never address the problems or the questions. They tell you to call. You try and they do not answer.So it is three weeks now and I have nothing from this Company to tell me if my 2 year subscription is set for the the $15.00. I do not know if they have the proper start date. Basically, this Company is so disorganized that a customer never is assured that their transactions are recorded and if they are accurate. They fail to communicate very consistently.

I bought a year's subscription from this company in August . They seemed reputable and were having a sale. The standard turnaround time for new subscriptions passed, and I contacted their customer service. The magazine provider gave me various excuses, blaming the publisher and promising new dates with each email. They kept giving me the runaround until finally stating it was my responsibility to check with the publisher, taking no responsibility for fulfilling the order I paid $50 for. The post office can't assist without tracking information, and after 5 months, I have no answers or proof that the publisher even received my order. Seeing other complaints on Complaintsboard.com, I'm led to believe this is a fraudulent business.

Back in July, I purchased a renewed digital subscription to the economist through discountmags.com. I've been purchasing from them for years now without a problem but for some reason now my subscriptions aren't syncing up. My latest purchase in July last year should be 1 year, however, my economist subscription has stopped in mid-march, only 9 months later. I have patiently contact discountmags multiple times, first adhering to their 14 day guidelines to hear a response, then having it escalated to a supervisor. I sent emails to them on Mar 12, 20, 24, and most recently 28. I haven't heard back from the last 2 emails, and I'm very anxious that I paid for services not rendered. Neither economst nor discount mags is giving any resolution (economist says its on discountmags.com end). I would appreciate either a re-instatement of my subscription, or a refund of my purchase.

On Dec. 12, 2020 I purchased 2 magazine subscriptions from Discountmags.com. To date, only one of the subscriptions ever came. They told me to wait until March 6th at the latest. The magazine still did not come. I sent 2 emails to them asking for updates but I never received a response. Only upon my 3rd inquiry (and when I told them I would be filing a complaint against them) did they respond and told me now I have to wait even longer. I had asked for a full refund for the magazine which they ignored and just told me they can't do anything about the delay and I just have to wait. I could be waiting forever for all I know! Per their online policy I should be able to request and get my refund, especially for a product I never received. Now they want me to wait longer, and then if magazine doesn't arrive I NEED TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN which is ridiculous. Why don't they do their diligence right now so I don't have to email yet again? I want a refund in full immediately.

4/1 I have a collection of airplane magazines that offer instructions on building models. On 3/19 I ordered a Jan 2020 magazine from Discount Mags & paid for it immediately. I awaited the access code to download. My wife downloaded it. I realized that I could not directly gain access to it without going to their website. When I buy an item, I want access to it when I need it without going through user names and passwords. I emailed Discount Mags 3 times and finally got an answer which I could not understand. I'm a graduate of the U. of IL and I use a computer every day. I have been unable to access that file since the first time my wife found it. I want my $6.99 back and if they will tell me how to delete the file, I will do that immediately. Nowhere did it say in their ad prior to purchase that I would have to go through their website to use what I purchased. Order #RR2664464. Very poor presentation by them as to the use of their product. I would never trust them again.

This is a combination of Advertising, Customer Service, Guarantee Issue. They advertised a price with promotion for The Economist Magazine. They ensured this was posted on slickdeals.com for maximum publicity. I put in a order for PRINT. They changed it to Digital (higher profit margin) and then sent me a confirmation for digital after purchase was completed (FOR PRINT). I sent in a customer service request about this issue and was told the mistake was on my end, but that they could offer me a refund. I affirmed that it was NOT an error on my part, but regardless said I would accept the refund. They wouldn't correct their mistake even though they deactivated the digital link subscription and could've provided the print version in lieu.They then ghosted me. There is no phone number to call and they don't respond to emails. I believe this is a classic bait and switch since digital is higher margins. I suspect others have been a victim of this as well. In the meantime they are now getting an interest free loan on my money.

I bought a 4-year subscription on 4/20 but the service was discontinued.
I bought a 4-year subscription on 4/20 for an undisclosed amount, on order number WT2933927. This publication ships bi-monthly, and I had renewed this service in the past without interruption. As usual, the service was renewed and the magazines arrived electronically as normal. Recently, my issues stopped uploading using the third-party supplier for the digital editions of the magazine. Upon inquiry, the supplier informed me that the subscription was ceased and no longer offered, advising me to seek a refund from discountmags.com. After several attempts, they issued me a $5.00 refund, claiming it was the best they could do for a 4-year service. They have a guarantee, but since the order was placed outside of the 6-month guarantee window, the $5.00 was for my inconvenience. This company seems to think they can take your money and not provide the service I paid for in advance, of which I received less than a year.

I had an order that was not received within the time frame that was quoted to me. When I reported this to discount Magazine's customer service I received a courteous and prompt response. I appreciate the care that was taken in making sure that the magazines I ordered were being sent in a timely manner. Sincerely
