I just spoke to a representative and was told that I would receive store credit because I returned the struts after 30 days of receiving the return label. Clearly, this is not true. The label was sent to me on September the 3rd, my package was processed on October the 1st. The items were shipped back to you and processed by your company before the 30 days expired. I am now requesting a refund to my credit card. Your website specifically states and I quote :
The return policy for Detroit Axle includes the following key points:
Refunds: Customers -MUST CONTACT Detroit Axle within 30 days of receiving the shipment to request a refund.
I paid over $300, but was told in an email from Jaime Hopkins that I would receive an email. Then I received an email that said it would be a store credit for $176.00. I called customer service and was told "oh you missed getting a refund by four days." This company is a complete scam and their return policy is not clear. I then reiterated that I want my money refunded. I never used the parts because they did not fit my car..
Claimed loss: I want my refund, not a store credit.
Desired outcome: I want a refund of the product I sent back. For the money I paid for this product, I could've kept it and sold it elsewhere if I hadn't been deceived by this company thinking I was going to get a refund.
