Delmarva Power review: Electric service

I use the APP to monitor my usage and check in my bills. On July 11,2023 I had a payment returned in error which showed as a returned payment in the app and showing charged back to my account. In July 11, 2023 I maid the same payment using my debit card. Based on the information on the app that returned payment was added back into my balance due on July,11, 2023. I did carry a balance on my account that I was on a payment plan for and in December 2023 I paid my account in full. In January I paid my bill in full. On March 6th, 2024 a mystery balance showed up on my account when I called I was told it was from a returned payment in March, which I never had a returned payment in March. All of my payments have been done using a debit card. Then I was told that Their system never actually charged me back the money from the return payment seven months ago but the app shows that I was charged back then I was told that the information on the app and the information on the internal system are not the same so now I’m being told I owe Delmarva almost $300.00 7months later. so as a consumer, the information that’s provided to me to be able to see to monitor and budget is inaccurate and apparently Delmarva power can wait 712 months if they want to charge you for things and you just have to pay them.
