Dairy Queen unprofessional, dirty restrooms, no chocolate ice cream anymore

Usually go to the location on Cabot Road in Missiin Viejo/ Laguna Niguel Ca.. always spotless and excellent staff. The other location is actually much closer to our home in Aliso Viejo, Ca ( Aliso Creek Road) this location is dirty, unkept employees, indifferent with a different story each time we have gone in for chocolate ice cream. A few months ago it was that the machine had a problem, then it was the ice cream wasn't freezing properly. Tonight it was 3 different stories. One employee said the machines broke 4 months ago but the owner didn't want to fix it. Another said they were having trouble ordering the machine. Finally ( I believe it was the manager) said " we discontinued it because people don't order it! I would like to know the real story...

Dairy Queen 4 piece chicken basket soaked in gravy.

The Dairy Queen I go to 2 times a week for lunch break with my coworkers is in Valparaiso Indiana on calumet ave. Today 7/27/17 at 1240pm I ordered the 4 piece chicken basket with orange Julius. When I got back to work and opened it the gravy inside had been put in the box with the lid off it. Everything was soaked in gravy and it was soaking into the box bottom. The fries were then not only soaked in gravy but also cold. It was like trying to eat a fries and chicken soup. The other great part of your service was an employee who wasn't even working the window. This greasy fowl lady comes up to the window with what I hope was chocolate on her face and proceeds to [censor] at me. She opens the window and with no introduction or explanation complains at me you can't smoke by the window put it out now. Then slams the window shut. Now I have no problem following rules but who puts a 6x4 inch sticker on the window you pay at stating no smoking. My question is how the hell could I predict your company would proceed to infringe on my rights in my car and attempt to dictate my life at the last stop of the drive thru. I would like to know why you don't block out semi exhaust from your store too it's more toxic then cigarettes. So today I was attacked by your employee who [censor]es out windows instead of telling people about your discriminatory intolerant rule like a normal person would, then I received sub par food that your rude fowl employee couldn't even prepare properly but at least she knows how to [censor] out that window. I request refund or coupon for another 4 piece basket.

Dairy Queen service and something found in my drink

Hi
I was just at the Dairy Queen in Redlands. We came to support the children's cancer promotion and the person who took our order was rude.

As I was drinking my Oreo coffee, I sucked something into my mouth. It appeared to be some kind of plastic or maybe even glue. I took it to what I would assume was the owner or manager, and she did not understand what I was telling her.she barely spoke English. She tried telling me that the straws were sealed. I explained to her and she just brushed me off and told another person to help me. The person who helped me, just looked at it and apologized. She took it and just threw it. They messed up a few orders while we were there enjoying our items.

Dairy Queen food and service

Went to your Woodland, WA DQ and ordered an Oreo Blizzard for my 9 year old son. On the drive home, he realized he was given a Reese's Pieces Blizzard with bits of Reeses in it. Had my son had a peanut allergy, this could have turned into a very dangerous situation. This could be a serious liability for your company. We waited in line probably 10 minutes or a little more, there was no way we were gonna turn around and sit in it again so we just wasted our money.

Additionally, and less important, I asked if my 5 year old could have a cherry on her vanilla shake. I was told "sorry we are all out have a nice day", and the services window was shut in my face. Customer service= terrible! Why treat a customer so rudely? We waited in line probably longer than we should have, but it was no big thing to us, we were happy and friendly at the window. The 2 girls working appeared entirely put out at doing their jobs.

We won't be returning, and we will be sure to tell all of our local friends about this experience.

Kelli

Dairy Queen inaccurate order not getting what I paid for

On July 25, 2017 my husband went to Dairy Queen in the Grant Plaza, 1615 Grant Ave., Phila., PA., 19115. He ordered 2 banana splits to go. When he got home we discovered only one was actually a banana split the other was just ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry with a little chocolate sauce. There were no bananas, no toppings other than 2 cherries, whipped cream and a minute (and I mean minute amount) of chocolate sauce.
I tried calling the store an only got a recording and I left a voice mail.
Needless to say, I am disappointed with the service and the fact that I didn't get what I paid for and the lack of trying to get a resolution to this issue. The also failed to give my husband a receipt. Although he really should have asked for one. He didn't;t think anything of it since he got what appeared to be two banana split boats. it's ice cream you r3eally shouldn't have to expect it in a take out container.
I would appreciate a response.
Thank you.

Dairy Queen food and burgers

Been a fan of your food but the Dairy Queen locally has been going down. I always Have to wait forever on Chicken and steak fingers after ordering they tell u to park in the front waiting almost 15-20 minutes. Today I bought the Hungr Buster and Grilled chicken Sandwich and was very disappointed! What's the point of advertising the pictures of the burgers making costumers buy them when all you get is some skimpy flat burgers, with barely anything in them. Dairy Queen has let me down I bet other customers also have the same complaint as me, I have pictures to prove.

Dairy Queen drive thru

I went to the new Dairy Queen on king street last night to get dinner for me and my fience. I waited for at lest 20 minutes for my food. ( one flamethrower combo, a crispy chicken samwitch, a flamethrower samwitch, large fry, and two blizzards)
The ice cream was ready right away and was left sitting for ten minutes on the counter while the rest of my order was getting ready so by the time I got back home witch is no more then 10 minutes away from this location it's was totally melted. Also the had forgotten the order of large fry.

Was very disappointed with the food chicken was so over cooked my fience could hardly eat it. I had also noticed they brought back behind the counter a young couple and there two kids, now I'm not sure if they work there or are friends of some one who was working but that is totally unexcepteble coming from some one who has worked in the fast food industry before .

Unfortunately for the $40.00 order it was way below standard to say the least. We will no longer be ordering from there any more and would like to be re-embursed for this experience

Dairy Queen cleanliness

I went into dairy queen wanting something to eat but had to use the restroom first. When I entered the restroom i was greeted with a stall which had a dirty tampon on top of the toilette paper dispenser with the applicator and wrapping next to it. I went and tried the second restroom, i was greeted yet again with a dirty pad on top of this ones toilette paper dispenser and a lot of urine on the seat. So working at dairy queen in the past in a different city in New Brunswick for almost 3 years I know how important cleanliness is. So I decide I should inform the supervisor on duty. So I walk up to the cash and ask to speak to a supervisor, I said bluntly " Your bathrooms are nasty, you might want to check it out" she responded almost offended " We clean our bathrooms at 8:30", You have to understand its 8:43 so in shock i said ok, walked away shook my head and said "just disgusting, simply disgusting" loud enough but not too loud . So here is my issue, She never apologist or said she was going to go look just that it was already done, she could of gotten away with it if the supervisor didn't look in her early 20's she should know better... if these are things that people are bringing up to them and they are okay with leaving it that way then I shudder to think how dirty and filthy they're kitchen is I would definitely not recommend to eat here. I will NEVER order anything from this restaurant.

Lower Sackville Location
I had ordered food for me and my boyfriend, we get home and start eating.
I had ordered a Poutine for myself and i get home and open it and there is a FLEA in my food.
I would like anything in return.
Also my banana in my banana split was completely rotten.
The staff was not all there, they were horrible. I asked for sweet and sour sauce, and they gave me 15 packs of KETCHUP.

Dairy Queen having a milkshake dumped on me

Earlier today July 22, 2017, in New Minas N.S. while sharing lunch with a friend who suffers a chronic illness, she ordered a vanilla milk shake, as this is easier for her to eat as she has trouble swallowing. The young lady who brought our order accidentally dropped her milk shake in my lap. What a mess. She apologized, and managed to clean up the mess while I was in the washroom cleaning myself. I was utterly shocked when I got back (to my now cold burger combo) and what was left of her milkshake to find the partial milkshake still sitting there. I HAD TO ASK TO HAVE THE MILKSHAKE REPLACED. How upsetting for my friend, and I must say, the whole experience left a VERY UNPLEASANT TASTE IN MY MOUTH. My receipt lists "Taylor 224" as our server. 11:12 am 20005
Thought you should know.

Dairy Queen service

Hello I am in the customer service field and always know how important it is to provide excellent customer service. On july10th at about 9:00 pm I went into the dairy queen in beaver dam ky, my daughter and myself. As soon as we walked in there was 3 girls standing there and I overheard one of them say "I hate people". First I could not believe she would say that and especially with customers standing right there. My daughter and I stood there for two minutes. Not one time did they acknowledge us or even attempt to say "sorry we will be right with you". At this point I told my 9 year old daughter, if they do not say anything within 30 seconds we are going next door and give them our service. Still no reponse. So we left went next door and as soon as we walked in the door was acknowledged and waiting on immediately. I told the lady at that restaurant thank you so much, and told her what happened next door. I also thanked her when I left again for being so responsive that is what good service is all about. I know these times and days young workers have not respect but I wanted you to be aware of the situation I encountered and will not be going to your restaurant further due to customer service. Thank you for listening.

Dairy Queen services done by employee, not sanitary!

I'm in health care and I find it quit disgusting that none of the employees are wearing hair nets! This should be mandatory!

Some of the girls are playing with their hair behind the counter.

I bought an ice cream and discovered a long hair, mentioned it to them and they did nothing about it . Moreless oh well!

Hair nets should not be optional it should be mandatory!

Dairy Queen food safety and standards

Call their hotline! [protected]
I just got off the phone with a great customer service representative named Donna! Terrific personality and let me tell you, she can rattle off the military alphabet with the best of them!
I had a terrible experience at my local Dairy Queen Drive-Thru involving a KC Pork Sandwich and an either untrained manager or a lethargic one. I received a pork sandwich that after taking one bite had to return to the store. When I got back to the store they were locking the doors to close. Luckily an employee was leaving work and saw me standing outside with my DQ bag. He kindly asked if he could help me and took the sandwich inside. The manger then handed me the same bag and told me to have a great night. I informed him of my refrigerator temp pork sandwich and he apologized for the confusion. He then took my bag to the kitchen where he soon reappeared from telling me that he had placed my sandwich back into the oven and it should be about 40 seconds. Firstly, I don't want that same sandwich that i had taken a bite from and was obviously not cooked. Secondly, I HAD THAT FOOD IN MY MOUTH! Now he is putting that food back into their cooking units. He returns with the bag and before I open it I ask him if he put the sandwich I returned back into the oven and is now serving it back to me. He said yes, I then open the bag to pull out and inspect my sandwich. The sandwich box is hot, not residual heat, the box itself was heated up. I then open the box to find my sandwich still missing a perfect bite out of it. He didn't even change my bun. Now if this is where you think it can't get worse...it does. My dirty Bounty paper towel from home was still crumpled up and smashed on top of my sandwich! I smashed it down on top of my sandwich after wiping my mouth in disdain from finding that my sandwich was still fridge temp. He didn't even open the box!

Dairy Queen dairy queen - upper tantallon blizzards

came to this location a few months ago, got a royal blizzard for the first time. being a chocolate lover, I bought one with fudge in the centre... did I get any fudge? not at all. I dug in it, thinking it would be lower down. nope. I work in customer service so I understand how it can be irritating to deal with those kinds of complaints, and didn't want to be that person. so I left and ate it how I was served it, which was not enjoyable.

today, July 17, I went again, asked for extra stuff in my chocolate extreme blizzard. and I saw the man charge me for extra stuff, so he had to have heard me. this blizzard was practically pure vanilla soft serve, and i could tell as soon as he handed it to me that it was not extra stuff. I ate it, giving the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they were low on fudge and maybe made up for it by the toppings inside the blizzard. but I was again, ripped off. I counted 5 brownies in my blizzard when I asked for extra stuff. if I wanted vanilla soft serve, I would have gotten a cone for way cheaper.

so thank you again, Dairy Queen Tantallon, for reminding me to not go back to your location unless I want to be ripped off.

Dairy Queen white bear dq.

I asked for a Oreo Royal Blizzard and when it arrived it was mostly melted. Half the cup was ice cream and on the other side it was half a cup of melted fudge liquid. This was not what I expected to get. When I asked the staff why is it so melted they said that's how it is. I live in England and come to Minnesota often and I love DQ but the service and quality was really bad and disappointing and quite frankly a waste of money.

Dairy Queen unethical behavior

Myself and my wife went to Dairy queen in Big Stone Gap, VA on July the 16th around 5 pm and were greeted by the most rude and disrespectful manager i had ever came in contact with. She was younger and her name was Brittany. When we approached the register we looked around at the menu to decide what to eat, the cashier, a teenage girl who was very polite asked what she could get us today. I told her to give us a moment to decide. As soon as i could get the words out of my mouth, the manager A.K.A (Brittany) who was standing beside her screamed at us " My god, if you don't know what you want to eat then get the "F" out. " I explained to her we were church going Christians and did not appreciate her language and she said If we didn't like it we could take our old buts outta there. i then asked for her supervisors name and she responded and said Tasha but she wont do anything for us because Tasha doesn't run that "GD" store, she did. and then walked outside to smoke a cigarette and get on her phone. the polite cashier told me to file a formal complaint with the company online. I thanked her and we left. We won't be eating at that restaurant anymore. I also asked around and from what i've heard they let her get away with a lot of things that shouldn't be happening toward customers. I am not trying to lose the company business but i do believe that Disciplinary action needs to be taken by District Management or someone who retains high authority within the company. Thank You.

Dairy Queen unprofessionalism when a particular policy was brought to their attention.

My husband and I purchased 3 blizzards. The counter person turned the first blizzard upside down. Then a support person bagged the other 2 without turning them upside down. I noticed this, and said..."hey, i don't mean to be rude, but aren't you supposed to turn them all upside down? He asked, where did u hear that? I told him on the Dairy Queen commercial." He then asked what the commercial said. I told him that if any blizzards WEREN'T turned upside down, that they were free. Then i added, that they turned the first one upside down, but not the last two. He then told me they only have to turn over one, which seemed to me like bs. Then the manager told me that they only do that with drive-thru customers. So apparently what they're saying to me, is customers that take the time to actually come into their store aren't treated with the same respect. I was so frustrated when i left, i said "whatever", and grabbed my food and blizzards and got out of there as fast as i could. I looked back into the store as i was leaving out the door, and i could see an employee shaking her head at me in disgust, almost mocking me. I don't usually place complaints, unless I've been treated with utter disrespect, like i was here. I'm not looking for anything other than that...respect. I'd appreciate a response back. Thank You.

Dairy Queen service and quality of product

We visited our local DQ at 205 N main, Somerset, KY. as we do about twice a month. We used the drive thru and ordered two blizzards a blonde and a royal cheesecake. While at the window, we were asked to pull to the side while our order was complete (first time when only ordering 2 blizzards). After a longer than normal wait, our blizzards were brought out and were partially melted, we didn't see the need to complain at this point. As we started home to enjoy our blizzards, we noticed only vanilla ice cream with no ingredients. We thought they were on the bottom, they wasn't the case. It is very disappointing to pay that much for only vanilla ice cream. We normally have a satisfactory experience at this DQ, but this was very disappointing.

Dairy Queen chocolate dipped vanilla ice cream medium cone order but getting small cone

I have been getting the medium chocolate dipped cone at DQ Grill & Chill at 1501 Lyndhurst Alley, Savoy, Il. monthly for a year. It wasn't until I went to another DQ store in Champaign, Il. that I realized I was being ripped off at the Savoy store. I was paying for a medium dipped cone and was getting the small cone. There was a huge difference in the amount of ice cream in the larger (mediium) cone at the Champaign store. I talked to the manager at the Savoy store and he said "we use the small cone for small and medium orders, but you get the same amount of ice cream - 7 units as you would get with the larger cone." Having had both this was an outright lie. Lastly, the chocolate dip was so thin you could see the ice cream through the chocolate coating vs the Champaign store which was a thick shell coating. DQ headquarters should do something about this Savoy store using small cones for a medium order and payment for a medium order. Please let me know if many DQ stores also use the small cone for small and medium dipped cone orders.
