Cub Cadet review: ZT1 54 inch 2023 model

I bought a ZT1 54 inch zero turn in September of 2023 brand new from cub cadet on line. I’ve used it for only 2 cutting seasons on my yard which is about 1 acre half way through the 2025 season and several different metal pieces of the deck started breaking off. They are the bracket that holds the guide wheels, the bracket that the discharge chute bolts to, and support bracket on the bottom of the deck
Discharge opening. All these pieces of metal should never have broken off. I believe that this mower deck was manufactured with very very cheap metal and from the very beginning it also vibrates the whole deck and mower when blades are engaged.
I take very good care of my equipment and maintenance every year but that only been once. I’m very careful when mowing not to hit or run over anything. I called cub cadet and told them that what happened and that I was very disappointed with this mower deck quality and expected it to be repaired under warranty. I was told to bring it to this dealership for repair it had a 3 year warranty. I was told to check back in 4 weeks, after 3 weeks I got a call from the manager of the dealership saying that cub cadet was not going to cover the cost for repairs because the dealership thought it wasn’t a manufactured defect. I called customer service and told them how disappointed I was in their product and that they should honor their warranty. I was told I could take it to another dealership and ask them to submit a claim but we can’t guarantee that anything would change. I’m extremely disappointed in cub cadet commitment to honoring their warranty and standing behind their product.
