I had the mower less than 50 hours and I had to get a new transmission. They said that there was rust on the parts in the transmission. My mechanic says they are having trouble honoring the warranty. The mower would'nt go forward or backward and I don't know how water can get into a sealed transmission. I had the mower less than 3 years so I don't know why they don't want to honor the warranty

Desired outcome: I would like to know how to keep moisture out of the transmission
