Credit Karma Credit karma money account

Hi, well first off I had lend my sister my credit karma money spend account to receive her income tax credit in my account because she did not have any type of bank or any way to receive her funds. So she received her funds after all on March 11, 2022. She was able to use my card in the meantime since there limited on taking funds out. So one day on April 14,2022 my spending account got locked because they said where and who's money was deposit into my account since it had a different name. And I explained to them the situation and that my sister can also prove and complete a statement that she allowed to receive her funds into my account. And now ever since the date of April 11 they have yet to send or explain why they haven't sent her funds to my address or in any other form of payment. We will file a law sue against credit karma for not releasing the money and its already going to be June 2022. 2 months without any answers

Credit Karma Money Spend account

I opened a credit karma money spend account through turbo tax when i filed for a refund advance. From the start it was horrible they sent me a card that was already closed fdown. Then i spent over a week trying to link every bank account possible to transfer my money out. Then they tried to give me a virtual card that was not showing up at first for about a week. Once my actual refund came to my account My virtual card was gone because apparently my actual debit card was activated which i never got a new card. I filed a complaint and within that week all money disappeared thru several different apps like cash app pay pal things that were not mine. I filed a claim with them by now all my money was gone. They said the usual 10 business day. well i got refunds from some merchants that my money was used at in my account before i could check the deposits ck locked up my account and said their specialty team were fixing it problem. I would have my credits from my stolen refund and my refunds from merchants in my account and access in 10 business days. we are now a month in and 43 emails later still no account access no money access no actual update on what is going on just a repeat email saying that they are working on it and to allow 10 business days which i found out starts over every time i send an email. This is not right I need my account open

Desired outcome: ACCESS TO MY MONEY AND TO NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN

Credit Karma Incorrect information

I challenged a item where the credit card company said they closed my account. In fact I closed it because they threatened to close it if I didn’t spend more money with the card (Sears, now out of business). I closed it instead but they reported that they closed it which is negative for my report. I filed a complaint with credit karma. It took them 8 hours to come back with a response that the information was correct. I am filing a complaint on credit karma with the FTC and also against the credit card company. Credit karma is worthless and only tries to market new credit cards. Horrible. Not in business to help consumers and a lot of information that is incorrect. Credit scores are wrong as I check with my mortgage company. In short, credit karma is horrible. Don’t bite into their marketing. You’ll be sorry.

Desired outcome: Apology

Credit Karma Credit Karma Spend/debit card Account

I opened a Credit Karma spend account complete with a debit card a few months back. I have my employment checks direct deposited into it biweekly. Out of nowhere they locked my account. I am unable to use my debit card, pay bills or even move money to my local bank I still don't have a clear reason why they did it and when I call they just tell me that their "specialized department" is handling the situation. They won't look into it they won't connect you to this so called specialized department and they don't seem to even care. Funny thing is that I called a number of times now and everyone I talk to has a foreign accent so I don't even know if I'm dealing with someone in the USA! This should be illegal!

Desired outcome: If or when I'm able to access my account I'm transferring my money back to a local bank and closing anything having to do with Credit Karma.

I Had to open a credit Karma account because of filing taxes with turbo tax and getting refund advance. From the start they were horrible. the card they sent was already closed out when it came. they then said they closed my money account and were sending my funds via check because i closed the savings account with them that i never even asked to open. then they ended up actually never closing my account just blocked me out of it and all my money. they one day my money was gone i filed a claim(with someone who didn't even speak English barely) and was told to wait at least 10 business days for the specialty team to investigate., well I now have NO CARD NO ACCOUNT ACCESS NO MONEY and they specialty team is a bunch of bs that sends the same reply each time please allow our team to look into your account it takes 10 business days. I have been dealing with this for over a month and a half. I have over 2000.00 in my account as well as refunds from merchants that my money was spent at without knowledge that they have locked me out of this is not right and I have tried to be patient with them but they are robbing us for our money and our rights to it by locking us out and clearing out our funds and using a bs specialty team as their cover up. Something needs to be done about this because my family is suffering from the loss of these funds while these people are getting a paycheck for doing this. WRONG WRONG WRONG horrible company and i hope they get shut down.(once everyone gets their money back that is owed to them)

Credit Karma Credit Karma Spend Money

We filed our taxes through Turbo Tax and Credit Karma Money Spend was offered to allow us to receive our money faster. When I tried to deposit or transfer the whole amount to our bank account it would not allow us to do so, it would not except our bank routing or account number. I contacted CK support and was told to keep trying another day. I did and it would not work.

I was told by support we could go to an ATM like Walgreen's to get our money with no fee, it did not work. I went to our bank and was only allowed to draw out $505.00 maximum per business day. It took me six trips six days to get our Federal deposited into our account. Then another three days three trips to get our State deposited into our account.

I will never us CK again, we could not get our money and it took nine days to get it all, very inconvenient and costly!

Desired outcome: Be able to access our money

Credit Karma Horrible scammed into my refund on their card now my funds are stolen

This is the worst! I cannot explain how absolutely devistated I am. I'm a single mom of a baby under 3. No help at all. And I received none of my child tax credits thru the months like others were. I was suspicious at that but I figured whatever i'll claim it with my taxes. Which I did. Thru turbo tax just like the last 13 years. However I always received a tt prepaid card for my taxes to be deposited on. This time I received a credit karma money spend card? If I knew this I would have just opted for the check. My whole identity is compromised and I cannot use any of my online accts

Credit Karma Savings account with credit karma has Frozen my account

I need to pull money from the credit Karma savings account and it’s not allowing me to access my money says the account is frozen. I’m very upset I need to make a transfer to my bank. I have been trying for 2 days to get this resolved. Help this is very upsetting. How can they take over my account and shut me out of it like this? There must be a law against it.

Desired outcome: Close the savings account and transfer my money back to my bank account.

Credit Karma Direct deposit signup incentive

I switched my direct deposit to credit karma money spend about 2 years ago. When I set up direct deposit, they had a promotion going on for $150 sign-up incentive. I completed the direct deposit set up, met the direct deposit monthly deposit minimum to qualify for the incentive money, and completed the 45 or 60 day period to get my $150 reward.

I was told repeatedly over the next 8 or 9 months to wait, it was being processed. Then, when it never showed up in my account, credit karma made me hunt through emails and screenshots (thank God I took those!) to prove that my direct deposit sign up was completed before the promotion expired, etc. I provided everything they needed as proof, and was told in an email that I still have, that my incentive was approved and would be put in my account on January 6th, 2022! (This was November 2021, I believe.)

The money never showed up, so I began emailing to find out what happened to my incentive bonus...no response. 4 emails, 6 emails, 9 emails later, I've had enough. I've also noticed that since I started griping in Ernest regarding my missing incentive money, I no longer win ANY amount of "Instant Karma", either! I'd like to know how to get my $150 out of them!

Desired outcome: I just want the $150.00 incentive they promised me in writing.

Credit Karma Credit Karma Money spend account

A week ago CK he gets in my debit card because I reported a charge I didn't recognize then after doing that I found out that my external bank was no longer at this so I began to try to link another bank I had the micro deposit sent I received it back within the same day and before I could put it in the system someone went on there and deactivated/locked my account I have been sending countless emails and telephone calls trying to get my account unlocked so I can attach another external account and have access to my money I have gotten the runaround no one has responded other than the generic response that I get that it's being escalated and that it's going to sit be taken care of no one can seem to give me any answers or help me and at this point it's becoming ridiculous no one is following through everyone is putting it off on someone else and I just need access to my account this is probably the worst customer service/company I have ever encountered in my entire life no one follows through with anything! I have attached only a couple of screenshots of some of the messages that we've had showing how many times I've done what they've said I've needed to have on their uploading documents everything on my end and no one can help me

Desired outcome: Access to my money!

tis is EXACTLY what i am going through right now and have been going through for weeks now with them. I have 43 emails between myself and their"specialty" team all their reply emails are basically the same. Please allow them at least 10 business days to review and fix the account. Sorry for the inconvenience. That's it nothing more nothing less. I requested multiple times for someone to call me from that department and have never gotten a phone call. I feel like they are scamming people because there is little to no communication they whole thing is way past 10 days and we as the customers have zero access to our own money while they do whatever they are doing. from all these reviews they have closed out thousands of dollars in accounts. smh. has to be something we can do as customers about getting what is rightfully ours

Credit Karma Drastic drop in numbers!

Credit karma says using 10% or less of your credit card usage is best... I paid my credit cards down to 2% usage and the credit score dropped 53 points! 53 points! My credit is perfect...836 and credit karma dropped my score 53 points for paying down my cc.
Absurd!

Credit karma flucuates their numbers drastically!

This needs to stop

Desired outcome: I WANT MY NUMBERS PUT BACK

Credit Karma Credit Score

My scores Transunion score Credit Karma is 567 and on Life Lock my Transunion score is 660. Which one is it? I gave them both a chance to explain and got no where and unless I want to pay for my score which it should be free then I am stuck with this. Then I applied for credit card which I guess is wrong and was told I do not have enough credit history because instead of going with Transunion this company went with Experian. I think if you cant give me the right score you have no business trying to give me a score.

Credit Karma Wrong Information

I retrieved my credit scores on Credit Karma site before getting a car and they indicated scores of 670 - 690. When the auto dealership did the credit check, they got 550 - 580. This is SIGNIFICANTLY different and the information supposedly came from the exact same sources.

Credit Karma Not reliable source for a credit score.

Their score is average at best, mine was actually 20 points higher with TransUnion. Also, their reported info will drop off then reappear months later. Example; I sold a house in May, in June it had dropped off my report, in August it has since reappeared. I questioned them on it through an email form on their site and they had no response and tried to direct my question towards another category of loans (just dumb).
Take their info with a grain of salt as it is not wholly accurate.

Credit Karma Hidden charges

This service claimed to be free of charge and promised to deliver high quality credit report for me. But instead of that all they've did was charging me credit card. There was no information about any kind of fees during signing up so I can only consider this situation as scam. All my attempts to get in touch with them failed because they don't pick up the phones and don't answer emails. Avoid this service!

I have used Credit Karma for years. I have never ever needed to use a credit card. Yes, they would like you to apply for another credit card, but that's on you . Its is totally optional.

Credit Karma is FREE. I have used them for a while to get my credit score. They do offer additional services for a fee, which is clearly stated in their terms of service. To get your credit score, you do not need anything but an email address.

The simple fact that you went to the next level and were required to enter your credit card number shows that you had to know that you were signing up for something beyond the free service.

I have saving account with credit karma, and they put a hold on my account. although I verified my identity by sending all the documents. Their customer service is terrible and they cant solve any problems. You cant even reach the investigation department. There is no clear communication. They practically kidnapped my money.
