Cracker Barrel review: Terrible food

On 6-18-23 we went to cracker barrel #cb0659. 2 of us ordered the classic hamburger steak which were way over cooked. We sent them back and they came out the same way. 1 ordered the southern fried chicken dinner $piece. It was fried way to long and very dry. Went the 2nd hamburger steak came out the manager of the kitchen brought it out and we explain our complaints. She told us she was sorry but they were so short handed that the manager was even helping the cook. We did not ask to speak to him personally, we thought she would help us. They did not even offer us a discount or any compensation on our bill. We will not return there ever again.
