Purchased a speaker in the Central Point, Oregon warehouse on Sunday. It went on sale on Monday. Per the Price adjustment policy on the website, Costco will refund difference. Called the warehouse on Monday, they stated to bring in card as we did not have receipt. Went in today and customer service asked management? about the adjustment. He told us he would do it this time but will flag our account so we can't do in the future?

Costco Geneticist Modified Tomatoes

I purchased tomatoes in Costco at Parker Colorado location. After a few days I realized that tomatoes changed appearance, its became with strange pimples when I opened it, I saw horror movies unfolded. The tomato seeds growing from inside out... I never saw that in my entire life, I decided to bring it to attention to my local store when I checked next day tomatoes, the growing stopped and look dead. It means only that growing do not need an oxygen, so ?! It's sound crazy but it is definitely not organic product! I am not shopping for my produce in Costco any longer!

Costco whirlpool cabrio he 4.8cu ft washer - squaretrade protection plans

This was purchased March 24, 2017. The washer stopped functioning, September 2020 we contacted Square Trade to report the washer was not working, it kept giving me error message, LF. A technician provided by Square Trade came out installed a part, (which had been provided by Square Trade based on a phone conversation with me) he Installed the part and left. I went to use the machine and L.F. error message appeared. I immediately called to see if I could get tech to return. They said no. It took another 3 weeks to fix the machine, after I was able to contact a repair man, and paid out of pocket to install parts provided by Square Trade. They did reimburse me for install.
Now it is giving me the same error code, and I have been informed it is not repairable. They offered to reimburse $500.00

Costco Costco Citi Visa

I love Costco, but am severely disappointed with this credit card. There have been three issues.

1. Receiving my bill right before it's due and then paying an excessive penalty for being two days late.

2. Being charged for interest before payment was due.

3. Losing the money I'd accrued when I cancelled.

I hope this is not representative of Costco's customer service.

Costco Costco travel

I have been a Costco member since 1985. Over the past 23 years, I have booked 4 vacations through Costco Travel and have been very pleased. Last Saturday, I booked a trip to the Dominican Republic and later found, on the American Airlines site that they were concerned enough about a 39 minute layover time they flagged it in red on their site. First I recognized a 39 min layover, I just booked using the 1st flight listed on my vacation package. I called on 4/4/21 and could not wait the estimated 45 - 60 minutes. I called again 4-6 21 after getting off of work and again, 45 - 60 minute wait time, an hour and 40 minutes later, Susan came on the line and brusquely told me that the airline department was closed and I would have to call back. I hope you have the conversation recorded as Susan was the most uncaring, what would you have me do, do you want to talk to my supervisor, well yes, I finally hung up after after almost 3 hours on the phone with no resolution. I did get a call from someone that did not leave a name, only a recommendation to call Costco travel tomorrow. I am a Costco customer because of the excellent products at great prices with great customer service. Your Costco travel customer service is definitely not up to Costco standards and needs to be fixed. My wife is already retired and I will be retiring soon and plan on ever more travel in retirement. I had hoped to use Costco travel but now am unsure. I do need to get my 39 minute layover time issue resolved.

Desired outcome: Better customer service from Costco travel and quick resolution to my problem.

Recently booked a travel vacation with flight and hotel. We've been executive members with Costco for years. The flights were fine, however the hotel was a complete disaster. The hotel wasn't the hotel shown in the picture on the Costco travel website. It was a Hilton Garden Inn Boca Raton, Florida. When we arrived my family and myself were completely surprised by the difference in the picture. The actual hotel is represented correctly on the Hilton website. The pool and actual hotel was much worse then the picture on the Costco website. We looked past that and checked in. Upon checking in we were given our 2 rooms only after the hotel struggled to find our rooms. When we went up to the rooms they hadn't been cleaned and weren't ready. We were surprised as we checked in after 6 PM. The front desk didn't seem to care and they sent housekeeping up to check our rooms. After that housekeeping came back to the front desk and indicated yes the rooms weren't ready. We ended up with other rooms that were both dirty and filthy. We ended up staying for 3 nights then checked out with 2 nights remaining. I called Costco travel and they didn't help at all. I then called Hilton to complain as I'm a gold member and they're trying to resolve. I wouldn't recommend Costco travel based on their very poor customer service and lack of resolution.

Costco Agio Turner 7piece dining set was not delivered

I had placed this order over a month ago taking April 3rd off of work to have this table new for my family at Easter. I am so angry it wasn't delivered. It is now 9:04pm with my window 7am-9pm. I NEVER left today excited about this table. Now the old one is removed and trashed and I have nowhere for them to sit tomorrow for Easter. I tracked the order and it was 10 minutes away in Sylmar, CA at 10am. No phone call NOTHING

Desired outcome: To be delivered tomorrow morning ASAP

Costco Membership payment/activity

I always go into the store and pay for my membership but costco received my payment at the store but still charged it to my citibank card that I never used. Costco is refusing to have citibank reverse these charges and citibank is refusing to remove the changes so I had them closed the account. Costco is getting double payments for my membership and refuse to assist me with getting these charges removed. This is fraudulent activity by costco. I should never be charged twice and they have the records at costco and citibank to proved that I paid in person, as well as my bank. I'm extremely disappointed and disturbed at the quality of the food that I got from Costco's hot food window. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and 1 slice of pepperoni. What I received was one slice of cheese that had a huge section without any cheese. And I received 2 slices of pepperoni, one of those slices had a huge bubble in the middle and barely had...

Costco Concierge

I used to think the Concierge service was a great add on and reason to buy electronics from Costco. I was wrong.

First off, I don't think Costco sells good quality electronics which is why they tout this service. In 3 years I have had 3 PCs I bought from them die. These are used for internet, some office stuff and photos. None of these PCs have been my primary PC nor have they got extensive usage or ever left my home. My old work horse PC from BB lasted 9 years. These last maybe 9 months.

First PC Concierge experience - had just set up PC and transferred files. In the middle of the first back up the hard drive crashes. I spent hours on my own troubleshooting and finally called Costco. Spent 2 hours repeating a lot of what I had done and was promised a call back. Did not come. Called again, same thing. And twice more. Finally escalated to the head of the Concierge group to get help. Finally admitted they had no idea and gave me my money back. Great, but lost all the unbacked up files, including 2000+ pictures from my Antarctica trip.

Second PC - mouse issue. The built in mouse routinely would go crazy across the screen, then disappear. Multiple calls, every one was roll back the driver and reboot. It would work for a few hours, then start again. Finally called for the umpteenth time and told them to look at the history. They agreed it was a hardware issue and not even worth repairing. Got refunded but at least I had not wasted time putting files on this PC! Was only for internet.

Third PC - The wifi disappears at least once a month. Given the history with Concierge I have spent hours on my own on drivers, BIOS settings, registry updates etc. to fix. I have had to call twice. The first time the lady was great, and I took notes so I could repeat steps on my own. I ended up having to reinstall the OS in Jan because this kept happening. Did not fix. Called again today because I could not resolve, again. The agent, Raven, was horrible. I finally spoke to a manager, James, who told me to run the BIOS test (already done, shows no issues) and to reinstall the OS (again, already done two months ago). Still under warranty and a piece of junk. Concierge will continue to tell me to reinstall the OS until the warranty is expired in May 2022.

TV - died in less than a year. The Concierge kept telling me to unplug and call back. This happened three times. I finally went to the store and told them the issue.

Desired outcome: Provide service that actually resolves issues instead of causing frustration

Costco Racial Discrimination

Reference: Racial Discrimination

Today, I was present at Costco location, 450 10th Street, San Francisco, California. I had a 10:30 am appointment to get new tires. Gilberto was the salesperson who checked me. I provided him with all the necessary information, and the car was checked in.

However, when I went to pick-up the vehicle, it was when I had issues. I provide the clerk with all the necessary documents to pick up the car. However, when he asked Chin Yu Chan, I informed him that this is my client's car. Then he went on to ask, where is this person, I said home, it is my client. Then he said, well we can't release this car to you. This car doesn't belong to you. I provide him with my client's Costco card and mine. He indicated well these cards could have been stolen. I called my client and informed my client what was going on. I handed my phone to the clerk, but he said he was calling and there was no need for my phone. That's when he said we always have these types of problems with you people. I said what do you mean by that, he did not respond. As he continued to dispute this issue, I became very agitated and grabbed my chest, I thought I was going to fall out.

I contacted my doctor about what had happened today. This is not a good thing. My doctor indicated that it was emotional stress which could have contributed to my having a heart attack.

This is not the first incident that I have had with this clerk. The incident that I had before was last year(2020) when he made the same statement, which security was involved.

There have been other incidents at other store locations that were horrible.

I am wondering what course of action I should take. Should I contact an attorney or is this something that we can discuss? I don't want there to be the next time and I fall out and have a heart attack.

Costco Cashier/Operator

To Whomever This Concerns;

This incident of concern occurred on February 16, 2021 at SW Denver #443 7900 W. Quincy Ave.
Transaction : 132 Terminal: 6 Operator: 14 Name: Alice H. at 12:53 21044300601322102161253

Eighteen items were purchased. As the male, bagger/boxer, was putting one of the two bunches of bananas into a box in the cart, I noticed that one of the bananas had a split down the entire peel. I informed the man boxing that my husband, John, would go back to the fruit section and bring another bunch to replace that one.
When he came back with the bananas and handed it to the cashier, Alice, the boxer then put it into the box in the cart. I had already written out the check for the total of our purchases which she had in her hand and proceeded to change the amounts on the check stating that she had not charged us for that replacement banana bunch.
That bunch was a replacement and she, ALICE, was fully aware that John had gone back and brought it up and since all the bunches are priced exactly the same, I had every reason to think that it was already on the total. After all, the damaged bunch was being boxed. Why would one think differently, that it was already on the receipt?
When I saw Alice writing and making changes on my check, I told her to stop, and despite my objections, she continued. When she had finished with her changes I demanded to see my check to view what she had done.
As I walked around to our cart which was filled with boxes that were too big and heavy for us which I had asked the boxer to pack up our order with smaller boxes, he didn't comply and totally ignored my request. I found smaller boxes and repacked our order.
I continued to let the cashier know that I was furious that she had taken the liberty of making changes and writing on my check against my will. Very loudly telling her that she "never again does that to anyone else."
She then yelled "watch her" and a man came running over immediately telling me to keep it down. I informed him what that cashier had done with my check and that "I was not going to keep it down." And, telling him that I was very angry with her actions.
Alice H. is the person who needs to be "watched" as what she did is unlawful at best and even illegal. I should and may still file a police report.
I have tried to let this incident go but it is still very unnerving that it happened, all for $1.82. I could have given her cash for that amount.
Everyone I have told about this cannot believe it.
I don't know how Costco can make this better for me. I do not want to ever encounter anyone who believes that they have the right to take inappropriate liberties with others.
In the best of worlds, she is no longer an employee at COSTCO.

tech support dan. i called for update dell computer about 3 time they do same proceed all the time then i request on line
access my pc remote service .
then agent dan call me 7 pm he find out i need update.he tell me how i update computer about 15 min.after that it take 3 hours so i have to update my self.hr piss me 30 min i stop services. he call me hour later he ask manger he got approved
remote control. don't piss customer this way!

Costco Costco Citi Card

I have been a Costco customer for 20 years without issue but, the current CitiCard company is besmirching your name. I have owned Amex Costco card without issue for 20 years and continue to own the card without issue. Citi has canceled my card even though it is paid in full and has been for months. Their claim is that the wrong account was used to make payment which was a their clerical error on their part not mine. Even when I found their error it was corrected in 48 hours . In addition, when payment is made electronically they take up to 14 days to post even though they take the monies immediately. THIS IS THE SECOND LIE! They also stated they were sending me a letter on 2 occasions to let me know the reason they canceled my card! Letters have never arrived and this is the 3rd LIE! Big banks like this abuse customers and it is time you separate yourselves from these thieves and find someone that will uphold the COSTCO brand as you do with every other service you sell. ANOTHER GROUP OF CALIFORNIA CROOKS!

Desired outcome: Have Citi Bank correct their errors and reinstate my card. Hold them accountable for the Lies to their customers.

Hi Az.md, I am having the same problem right now. Citi refused payments from the same bank account they've been drawing from for years. I talked to a representative who acknowledged this was a bank error, but they still canceled my account. Now it has to go through a review process before it can be reopened which would take 7-10 business days. I called back after that time and there was no request in their system for the card to be reopened. So now I am waiting again, and feel like I am begging Citi to reopen my account even though it was no fault of my own. If Costco would offer a partnership with literally any other credit card company I would jump at it.

My husband and I Being refused entry into Reading store RG2 6EU for not wearing a face mask .

The Equality Act 2010 states I am protected against unlawful discrimination by Costco as a service provider because of my disability/medical exemption.

Costco Customer service when renewing membership 111906763623

To complaint department:

Recently I had to renew my group plan at Costco in Bayamon Carr.177, Puerto Rico. one of the members did not want to renew so when I presented the issue at the customer service counter, the representative just told me to pay and later on I could add someone new. all I needed was the person's name, date of birth and phone number, Last week I went to the counter and presented the information for a new member. The representative entered the information and informed me that all I had to do was tell the person to go to any Costco the island with her ID and she will be given a new card. Yesterday this person went to Costco to get her membership card and the rep told her that she and to be a member of my family and live with me and she had to present evidence of this! I don't even have evidence of living at my house. My husband receives all correspondence with his name and to our PO Box not our home anyway I again contacted Costco by phone and the rep told me that that was a new established 2 years ago! This is totally unfair because 2 times I went personally to Costco and I wasn't informed of this limitation! I was fooled into paying the entire membership without knowledge of this limitation! I hope you take your customers seriously, and expect a response

Desired outcome: I request that this limitation be waived in this case so i can add another person to this group since we have been members since 2012 !

Costco Not following Covid 19 quidelines

Standing in line to check out the Costco " bagboy" told me to put my purchases onto the register conveyor belt. I pointed out that then I would be less that 2 feet from someone already waiting to make their purchases. He grabbed my cart stuff, put in on the conveyor belt and told me I could stand where ever I wanted.
Then another customer behind me crowded next to me with his mask falling off his face numerous times. I politely asked him to stand 6 feet away and he was very rude and did not move but came closer. No one, not the cashier or the bagboy said anything. I realize now I just should have walked out of the store at that moment and not waited for my order to finish being rung up.
If I get Covid I know where I will have gotten it. Elderly customers like myself no longer have any specific hours they can shop at Costco here.

Desired outcome: For Costco managment to please inform this store that they must follow Covid guidelines and assist the customers to.

That's a risk you've taken in all the years pre-CV19. There hsve always been deadly viruses especially for older and vulnerable people. The only reason you're more fearful now is because you're being told to be by the propaganda 24/7.

I am writing today to speak out against the insane mandate that all customers (and poor store employees) continue to wear face diapers when we all now know this has been nothing more than a charade. I and many others I know are electing to trade with businesses that do not "mandate" a mask in their stores. I imagine the only effect on policy, any action...

Costco Delivery truck

You all need to research this complaint. I am a Costco member, and saw this driver today, Friday the 19th around 10:15 am at the 395 and 495 juncture in Alexandria, VA. The truck was absolutely speeding and almost caused three accidents. They slowed down after I sped up to get the information, but honestly, it was unacceptible. On the truck, the number was CW 1052105 and the license plate was 293461x MD. I would suggest speaking with that individual because they literally were out of control. Just trying to keep everyone safe.

Desired outcome: For the driver to understand what they were doing.

Costco Travel

I booked a rental car through Costco Travel and the rental company was Budget car rental. I agreed to pay 141.00 for a mini van for two days while in Vegas. We stood in line at the airport Budget and come to find out there is no mini van on hold even with my reservation through Costco. They then charge me at the counter 350$ for another car for two days! I had a reservation through Costco and was told a price and I paid more and received a car I didn't reserve. I feel this is a complaint on Budget and Costco. Terrible to fly somewhere and have a reservation and not getting what I reserved and being charged a lot more than what I was quoted.

Desired outcome: Refund of the difference I had initially agreed upon.
