I recently made a purchase through Conn's and was approved for a loan. I spoke to my sales representative Mr. Tilley who stated that he would need to add the insurance for the appliances but that if I was able to take my homeowners insurance in to the store he would take that off of my owed balance. A few days ago my husband dropped off both a copy of my sales documents along with my home owners policy. After having called corporate first to get contact information to the insurance department so that I may fax or email documents I called the store. A young woman answered and I immediately asked to speak with my sales rep. She stated he wasn't there yet. I asked if she was able to help and briefed her on my situation. She never asked me for any account information and instead asked me to hold. She kept me on hold for 45 minutes before I hung up. It's really disappointing to see the customer service and training that this specific store has. When we initially went into the store my husband was not greeted or approached about any needed. All the sales reps were bunched up at the counter and he had to walk up to them to get assistance. The only reason were decided to continue with making the purchase was out of need. I was interested in other items but even our one sale seemed very rushed and the sales reps kept walking away to get assistance with using the Ipad to continue forward the sales applications. I don't know how much to stress retraining here for employees. Especially managers and leadership personnel.
Desired outcome: Better customer service and correction on my account
I am going through a simular situation with Conns where I made a purchase and was a 0% interest where I provided proof of renters insurance and am paying 400 more dollars in payments then what the products are worth have tried to resolve with conns on the phone only to be transfered and hung up on multiple times only told that I still owe. Will never go back to them they are frauds
