I got on the web site to join the Weight Watchers free trial they show on TV. I never saw anything about the free week, but I thought I would get it when I signed on. After taking all my info it went to pages about what type Weight Watcher did I want, I had no idea so I decided this was not for me ( keep in mind this is all less than 5 min into the signing). I hit the button to cance and I got a email saying no refunds. The amount they charge my card for the free trial was $46.90. I wrote them 3 times explaining to them I was wanting to try the free week but it just was to confusing to me so I canceled and they said they would give me a free week when they renewed my next month fee. I told them all tolal I was on the web site less then 5 min and did not see anything about the plans they said sorry no refunds. I may not know a lot about the online system, but this is not right to charge me for this. I could under stand if I copied all their stuff and then wanted to cancel, BUT I DID NOT. Thanks for letting me complain it seems like everything on the enternet is a scam.
unauthorized charges
I joined Weight Watchers the end of January 2007. I signed up at a meeting and decided to purchase a monthly pass ($39.95 for 2 months) and a starter kit for $25.00. I gave them my credit card number because this is the only way you can do the monthly pass. On Feb. 14, 2007 my cc was charged $39.95 for Feb/Mar dues. Then on Feb. 23, 2007 my cc was charged $64.95 (for what I don't know - I'm assuming more dues and the starter kit).
On Mar. 27, 2007 I canceled my membership because I had attended only 2 meetings and I knew if I didn't cancel it then they would continue to bill me. I got the confirmation on account cancellation through my email and assumed that all was well.
Oh no, on May 4, 2007 my cc was charged another $64.95. I have tried over and over to get this resolved and they don't respond. I left a voice mail and no one returned my call. I have emailed them about 10 times and I always get a response that has nothing to do with the overcharge just 'as per your request we have canceled your membership'.
To this date I have been charged $169.85. Pretty expensive for 2 meetings. I don't know what to do at this point except maybe do a charge reversal on my credit card. Be careful before giving them your cc number for monthly pass. When they make a mistake, it's a nightmare.

degrading
I have a closee relative that joined weight watchers and the weigh in 2woman are very mean. And the leader was spoken to about them! This woman is over weight and needs support not to be degraded and feel unwanted and ashamed! Shew couldn't afford to even join but her self esteem is so low and conscianous so MUCH! She is so discouraged! These women there are all skinny and look down on my relative. They're snappy at her! Give orders to her! My relative wanted to walk out! She felt very embarrarased! Her friend went and spoke to the leader about it! My relative hads a very hard time sticking up for herself! She's sooo down on her weight problem ands doesn't need this kind of treatment that she pays for!The leader is nice, but these weigh in women are very MEAN! Something needs to be done! If they do not have a weight problem then they will not be supportive! I certainly hope you will solve this problem! The meetings are Tues's @ 4:30-6:15 @ thr Comfort Inn @ Suites in St. Johnsbury, VT. Thank-you for your time and help! I look forward to hearing from you when this is solved!

@ confused... If you have never used a washing machine, how can you tell me how to use it? Meeting room staff members KNOW the program because they LIVE the program. One of the selling points is that we have all been on that side.
Im sorry to hear about your experience with weight watchers. You relative can make a formal complaint or look at changing meetings.
No one shoudl be made to feel bad about being overweight. Its a huge step to take to realise that you have a problem and activly look at helping yourself so full supoort is needed by everyone.
With regards to Matts commens, this proves that even slim people can have an ugly personality. Mat eyou will go far in life im sure...Slim people also have high risk of heart failure due to the fact they dont think about what they are eating or in your case what crap comes out of your mouth.
I am very confused about this organization. I applied for a part time job as a receptionist.
I have a four year degree, ten years spent as pre-school teacher. I also worked as an actress in commercials in LA till my agent recently passed away and made a nice living. I also have experience in customer service positions, working as a PR assistant and casting assistant in NYC. I need something part time since my mother now lives with me so I can take her to Dr. appointments at times during the day. And I do have a new agent. I also am a person in recovery for 18 yrs. but weight has not been the problem. I mention this because I do have great compassion for anyone struggling with any issue. So I applied online and get this email and call from a recruitment person. From what I gather and she has not said this clearly yet, I must first join weight watchers to be even considered for a job. In fact she told me there are no openings right now, but I must be a life time member if I work there and of course pay to do this? Is this the only way to get a job with them? I am 5'2 and 117 lbs. While I do watch my weight because I want to have good cholesterol I don't need to join Weight Watchers to get a job, because if I could do this I'd have to have weight problem which is nothing to be ashamed of don't get me wrong and another job or the savings/investments to justify joining a group right now that I don't need in the hopes of a job opening up? This seems really unfair. Yes, in my 20's I always weighed 100-105 lbs. but should I have to join now just to hope I get a job interview? I recently also interviewed in person at Jenny Craig because they have similar part time hours and positions, for a sales position. They didn't tell me nor does it seem to be their policy that I must join first, in hopes of being hired.
For anyone who works at Weight Watchers does this recruiter's actions make any sense?
I think "MATT" has a few issues to work out. Ladies, don't let a disgruntled weigh in lady make you upset. They may be married to someone like MATT. hahha.. and, maybe MATT has male pattern baldness, premature ejaculation and well, lets just say, he may be trying to compensate for certain little things he lacks in other areas... if you know what I mean? Yes. I think that could be it.
Answer for you, Matt? Not everybody is grossly overweight that attends weight watchers. And, what are YOU doing on this site? Have a little weight problem? Ever hear of "PROJECTION"? Look it up... It's when someone has such hatred for themselves that they project that in comments to others. Sigh.. you buy em books, ladies, and they chew the covers, ... Poor Matt. It may be naptime for Matt.
ANYWAY.. (ugh) ... you're right, weight watcher leader person, Matt IS a jerk. And I agree with the point you make about challenges, etc.
HOWEVER... the weight watcher plan is more than doubled in "easy" since I knew about it. I'm a tall blonde with long legs and I look like I don't have a weight problem.. and, now I don't. But I DO remember thinking "oh my gosh.. how did THIS happen!?!?!?!?... OH dearie! The long and short of it is ... the point program works. The filler snacky stuff I had when I did the first round of weight watchers was sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles, and at that time it was either fat and fiber plan or exchange plan. I always did the exchange plan as I have a family I cook for. I also upped my excercise and was always thrilled when I took off a pound.
Most of the time well a lot of the time, here in the states, we are impatient. Everything is convenient. So, it is in effect, harder for some to stay 100% of the time "on program". The point program lets you have sushi, salad, pretty much anything you want.. it teaches you the real deal on portion control and the big thing for most of the people I know that had the biggest success was two things, eating enough veggies, and drinking the water.
If you have fresh steamed asperagus, a baked potato and a protein item.. you can pretty much get a good dinner in there. I love grilled halibut with the above ... and I always go over the halibut .. I don't measure the meat anymore because I sort of learned this in Europe while living there. IF you take your two palms, face them up. OK... One hand... fill that area of your plate with steamed veggies. Don't overcook them, they are so good just barely steamed. Any kind you want that aren't really starchy... I love fresh broccoli, steamed brussel sprouts and or asperagus... OK? Then, the other hand, the fingers area ... (I know it sounds dumb but it works).. that is a scoop of rice, a med. potato and or a scoop of pasta, all boiled, steamed or baked, OK? If you want to use "I can't believe it's not butter spray" a few spritzes and honestly, little salt and pepper and you cannot tell that you are dieting, I promise. OK? Then.. whats left? The palm area of your hand.. the last thing you need? Protein. About the palm size of raw meat, fish, or two eggs if you are a vegetarian. I eat meat and fish, so I even fry up a pork chop, make sure it's blotted on a papertowel, and there ya go. Bon appetit.
Warning to mean weigh in ladies. If you are not nice to the ladies stepping on the scale, you are showing them your ugly side if you are being short with them, STOP IT. If you are brushing them off KNOCK THAT OFF. If you are tired and want to go home and are either volunteering or making minimum wage, TOO BAD. Have someone else do it if you can't be nice. When you work all week and diet, it's the hardest job for some people, ME INCLUDED... and the weigh in is a very determining time of the weekly visit. SO listen up. Be nice to those ladies ... they pay your salary! Remember that a kind word, and even a hug when they lose, a sympathetic ear ? If you have a long line, and are rushed.. tell them that, and see them afterwards. You will see, what goes around truly comes around, and you can make a difference in that persons entire life, by just lending a listening ear. So, BE NICE.
And lastly, to the lady that was insulted by the small man named Matt? He will never be able to change that bald spot, but you can always lose the weight. ahhhhhh. My job here is done.
Party on ladies, get together, make a huge salad, and talk about Matt's little problem, and enjoy your beautiful selves.. You can do anything if you believe it to be so. Positive thoughts, little walkin' little water drinking, little bit of a cookie at night with a cup of tea, and voila, you are master of your own personal diet plan. Weight watchers is the only program that teaches you how to remain on track, your health improves, your outlook improves, your wardrobe improves, and you soon realize that men are following you around like silly school boys, and you will conquer! Go forth and Conquer!
Love, Jill
Just so you know, the receptionists at the meeting do have a weight problem, but they got it under control at ww. It is a ongoing experience. Just becasue someone is skinny does not mean they don't have a weight problem! Yes, the receptionist was rude, and your friend should talk to a supervisor about her/him.
As an employee of Weight Watchers I first want to reply to the comment by Matt - you are a jerk! If you've never had a weight issue, you have no idea of the challenges that a person has to overcome to lose weight.
For those who are Weight Watchers' members with unkind staff in your meetings. You must complain to a boss. If the leader can't make a change, then find out who their supervisor is and complain to them and if that doesn't work, go higher to the next level. Phone calls are good . . . letters are better.
It is totally unacceptable for any Weight Watchers member to feel uncared for or degraded. Every single employee of Weight Watchers was once overweight and had to lose their weight and become a lifetime member.
I wish you all the best in your journey of weight loss and health!
I just want everyone to know that a Weight Watchers employee at the Florissant location (2794 N.Hwy 67 ste.a Florissant Mo. 63033 in Surrey Plaze) her name is Vera she's just as bad. She's an old hage from England who thinks she's better then all Americans and says how America is so terrible, and that us Americans can't do anything right.
Theres a solution to the abuse, its called NOT BEING AN OVERWEIGHT FATASS. Fat people are less appealing, less beautiful, and less suited for marriage and motherhood. Plus, their risks of dying early from a fat-related illness are several times higher. Fat people are fat because they are LAZY AND CAN'T STOP RUNNING TO THE FRIDGE. FACT.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am contacting you because I recently purchased a pack of your raspberry yoghurts from Asda in Cambridge.
Today as I took a mouthful I had to spit it back out, as I felt something inside my mouth that did not feel quite right. To my horror I found that I had nearly swallowed of all things a WASP.
This made me physically sick.
I think you should be made aware of this as it has totally put me off purchasing anymore of your products, also I personaly think that more care and attention needs to go into checking all of your products when selecting them to sell.
Yours Sincerely
Renata Chylinska
beware 7 day free trial is not free!
I signed up for a 7 day free trial of weightwatchers.com just after Christmas. Well I wasn't on the computer for a couple of days and the next time I checked my email was two days after, and I had an email saying that I was charged $65.00 I've emailed weightwatchers customer support multiple times, and they will not budge. I've threatened them with the BBB but that doesn't make any difference to them. I've also let them know we're disputing the charge through our credit card company, but they don't seem to care. They started out at refunding us $18.10, then, since according to them "However, while it is not our policy, customer service is very important to us and we have been authorized to credit your account for $35.05. This credit covers your subscription cost less the non-refundable $29.95 sign-up fee. The Subscription Agreement specifies that the sign-up fee is non-refundable. You should see this credit on your next credit card statement. Your subscriber account has been cancelled effective today." That's a quote taken directly from one of the many emails i've receieved from them. The problem is, no where on the free 7 day trial does it mention this "sign up fee". This is a scam, plain and simple. I wouldn't recommend weightwatchers.com to anyone.
Website page cannot be displayed, error messages and I cannot log in. I haven't had a problem with any other websites. This been going on for two days. I have sent numerous e-mails to weightwatchers.com, and I have not received any explanation.
I signed up for a free trial, and forgot about the auto-renewal. Did not use the service. Asked for a courtesy credit and was denied. I feel auto-renewals are calculated rip-offs.
Same thing. I signed up paid the $58 used it like 4 times and totally forgot about the auto renewal. I wish they would at least send an e-mail, text, call something. But hey they got another $18.95 out of me...
usually when you sign up for a free trial of ANYTHING you are told that if you do not cancel before the trial is over your account will automatically be converted into a paid account and you are responsible for the terms and conditions thereof. If you didn't read the terms and conditions when signing up that is in NO WAY the companies fault. Just because you were not paying attention when you signed up, it does not mean you are not responsible for the consequences of not properly canceling your account in the appropriate time-frame.
to Geoff why not cancle the card you used and get a new card issued if the numbers different they CAN'T charge you...
We cancelled our on-line weight watchers program on October 28th, 2006. We have been charged a monthly fee of $12.95 ever since and despite numerous attempts to get them to stop charging us, we can't seem to get them to stop. We have called our credit card company and they have tried with little effect. I am at my whits end. Beware before you sign up for the program that you might never be able to cancel. It is a real hastle and there is NO PHONE NUMBER for you to call.
Has anbyone had a similar experience?
Geoff
Weight Watchers,
At the end of July 2007 I signed up for a $65 one time charge to participate in the on line program. My credit card was billed on August 1, 2007. Now for no reason whatsoever my credit card was billed $16.95 on November 11, 2007 and again on December 1, 2007 for the same amount. I am sending this same info to your Kansas address and expect results in a reasonable time period.
unethical billing practices
Weight Watcher's Online charged me $65.00 for signing up for their service even though I canceled less than 24 hours later. Their computer messed up my registration weight (entering a weight they had on record for me 3 years earlier!), so I decided not to bother with them since there was no telephone customer support. (This was my fault for not looking for human customer support before signing up.) When my credit card was charged $65.00 (even though no human ever put their hands on my account) I complained to their customer email support. This is the reply I received, even though I had canceled several weeks before I had sent in my complaint: Dear Barbara, We are certainly willing to help you cancel, but want to inform you of the specifics of your account. If you decide to cancel your Weight Watchers® Online 3-month subscription plan within one month of your sign up date, it will expire at the end of the month and your monthly fees will be pro-rated at the non-discounted price of $16.95. In addition, when you subscribed to Weight Watchers Online and submitted your payment, you agreed to the terms and conditions set forth in the Subscription Agreement. The Subscription Agreement specifies that the $29.95 sign-up fee is non-refundable. Based on the refund policy outlined in our Subscription Agreement, until 8/30/2007 you are eligible to receive an $18.10 refund. After this date, you are no longer eligible. If you would like to cancel early with a partial refund, please reply directly to this e-mail so that we may complete your cancellation request. If you do not respond by the date above, your account will expire at the end of the pre-paid term on 10/30/2007. The reason your potential refund comes to $18.10 is as follows, in accordance with our subscription agreement. You paid $65.00 for a three-month subscription to Weight Watchers Online. When requesting a refund you are charged the pro-rated, monthly price of $16.95 for each month or part thereof. Thus, $65.00(3-month subscription plan) - $29.95(non-refundable sign up fee) = $35.05 - $16.95(one month's service, pro-rated) = $18.10. By clicking on the link below, you may refer to our subscription agreement for additional inquiries you may have regarding our refund policy. http://www.weightwatchers.com/legal/subagreement.aspx Sincerely, Ha, Customer Service Associate www.weightwatchers.com
Don't use Weight Watcher's Online. It is a farce and has bad customer support and unethical billing practices.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I received my Visa bill and I was charged double for the month of October. There was a credit for last billing period and two additional charges from Weight Watchers. When I totaled my transactions for the month of October both charges were in the grand total. Does this mean that I won't be charged for November?
I tried a few weeks ago to terminate my monthly pass, first by e-mail, then by mail. So, what happens, I get my monthly pass in the mail a few days ago, as if I never tried to contact you. I am having foot surgeery and will be in a cast for quite some time, therefore I would not be able to be weighed. You probably won't pay attentioin to this, but my pass ID# is M3013144. Please learn to try to help people.
i would like to cancel my monthy pass i tryed to email you and it would not go thur my access code is [protected]-[protected] thank you
unable to cancel monthly pass
I have been trying to no avail to cancel my "hassle free" monthly pass. I have followed all of the steps on the online portion of the weight watchers web site and have had absolutely no luck in canceling this service. I have joined weight watchers in the past and paid weekly. I will never use their online service again as it is a scam.
I have been trying to cancel my monthly pass to no avail. I need help
This is the message i got from Weight Watchers when i decided to cancel service after two days of use. They charged me $53.85 and refunded me $ 5.95 that i still have not seen in my credit card. Basically, customer service wrote me the email below.
"In keeping with the refund policy outlined in our subscription agreement, we have cancelled your subscription and you will be credited $5.95. This amount should show up on your next credit card statement. Your account will expire on 7/9/2011.
The reason your potential refund comes to $5.95 is as follows, in accordance with our subscription agreement.
You paid $53.85 for a three-month subscription to Weight Watchers Online, three times our monthly price of $17.95. With early cancellation, you are liable for our $29.95 sign up fee. Thus, $53.85 (3-month subscription plan) - $29.95(non-refundable sign up fee) = $23.90 - $17.95(one month's service, pro-rated) = $5.95.
You may refer to our subscription agreement via the following web page for additional inquiries you may have regarding our refund policy.

This is basically the section that made me liable for 50 dollars for 2 days of services...WEIGHT WATCHERS IS JUST BAD. THERE ARE LOTS OF SERVICES ONLINE THAT WOULD NOT CHARGE YOU A DIME TO COUNT YOUR CALORIES. THE SAME SERVICE I PAY 50 DOLLARS FOR 2DAYS. AVOID SIGNING UP FOR THEIR SERVICES, ITS A BIG SCAM.

We reserve the right to collect fees, surcharges, or costs incurred before your cancellation takes effect.
I have no idea of why people could not cancel their monthly pass...no excuse for it unless
they did not read and follow instructions, or go to Weight Watchers help...I had a problem at first, then went to help, sent my request and WITHIN 24 hours I received not one, but two
responses not only acknowledging my request, but providing very clear and simple instructions on how to get my monthly refund...sorry about all your problems, but there is no reason I can think of you should have had them...there was a way to solve them.
Beach Girl
All Weight Watchers is ... nothing but a scam to get mostly gullible women to buy into their program of so-called weight-loss and also their very expensive foods, as well. I think that people, such as my wife get sucked in on this stupid stuff just because they don't have the discipline to do it on their own. So they waste money on rip-off programs like Weight-Watchers...and it's really sad...because I could talk to my wife until I'm blue in the face, but I could never convince her that she's being ripped off by this scam. She's been in it now with her 'best friend' for over 2 years now...and the results are pitiful...and I mean very pitiful for the kind of money that Weight Watchers has sucked out of them. I give up...it's a waste of time to try to convince these two women that they are being scammed. I was able to lose 120 lbs on my own...without a stupid, expensive weight-loss program...and I did it by walking, exercising and eating healthy foods. I lost the weight over a 6 month period and it didn't cost me a dime. WHAT'S INCREDULOUS IS...!...THAT MY WIFE WITNESSED ME DOING IT ! So, do you think that I can convince her that she's being scammed by Weight Watchers? ...LOL...no way...she bought into their BS ...hook, line, and sinker along with her best buddy...and today both women don't look any lighter or trimmer than they did 2 years ago when they joined. Go figure.
I only have a free pass account, but they've been billing me anyway because they got my credit card information. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! Also had to cancel my credit card to get rid of the bloodsuckers!
TOTAL SCAM!
Last night my husband signed up for Weight Watchers online. After viewing the website for less than an hour, he decided this was not what he needed. I attempted to cancel the program but the website would not accept a cancellation. So I contacted Customer Service who informed me this was a "non-refundable purchase." So, to view the website cost $47 and now they have our credit card number. So we had to close the credit card account to avoid monthly charges forever. What a scam!
Please cancel my monthly pass. I do not want to charge it on my credit card!
All I want is to cancel my monthly pass being put on my credit card. I'd rather pay cash when I can find the time to attend the meetings. Please cancel my pass on my credit card.
I used Weight Watchers Monthly pass and on-line versions and when I did not want to use them anylonger it was very easy to cancel my membership with no hassel or problems... You must not have went to the cancel my membership screen! In order for anything to work, you also have to be committed to making it work or you will get not results. If you join a gym but don't go, it's not the gym's fault you are not losing any inches, it's your own. So if anyone reads this, Weight Watchers is a VERY GOOD on line web-site but only if your going to use it and attend the support of the meetings.
cannot cancel membership!
I joined Weight Watchers under the Tenn Care partner's Program. It's funny how I was able to speak with a live person to join, but now they say my only option is to leave a message for them to call me back to cancel, yet they never do! They tell me I cannot speak to anyone about canceling, that this department that only takes messages, is my only choice! I also had a complaint about how I was treated on the phone, as well as at my first meeting, but as you may guess, there is no one willing to take my call about that either!
Beware!
Hello Forum, I see that there are years of complaints on this site related to WW debiting beyond what people " signed up for"
I joined a 3 month program in January 2016 and today ( 9/2/18) have had a small refund. My bank has advised they will dispute
any debits on my behalf if they take place again next month. I am considering legal action as I feel the enrolment process, financial disclosure and communication to say debits were still continuing do not meet consumer law in Australia. I bet the same applied in other countries.
If anyone has details of how they managed to get a refund from payments after a 3 months trial ceased please post them on the forum.
Many readers need support to deal with the nightmare of these deductions. Heather - Australia. MY IMMEDIATE ADVICE TO ANYONE HAVING THE PROBLEM IS ; cancel your credit card or debit card...its the quickest way to resolve the deductions continuing without your informed authority.
I joined WW 1 month ago and decided it wasn't for me. They have already charged my credit card twice for $40+ dollars. Now they are charging me $69.96 for an early termination? For what? I got NOTHING from them. This is a BIG rip off.
Mary, cancel the card and or call the bank to lodge a dispute. Cancelling the card is the quickest way to stop the deductions. Lodging a dispute can take months- going back and forth and all the time the debits will continue.
Heather - Australia
If you click on cancel from the website in account settings it tells you youre not logged in, even though you ARE logged in. I tried this about a dozen times with the same result. Nice JavaScript coding they did there. I can do that too! Clearly targeted at people who don't understand technology and how you can use it to scam people. They REALLY want me to call them to cancel. Obviously. Its okay, its okay. I'm going to reply to anything they say with "I would like to cancel my subscription" I have no problem being rude. Only problem is precious time is being wasted during which I could be adding food and activity to fitnesspal, which I used in the past and actually works great.
I signed up for the free weight Watchers and the free starter pack. I never received it so I am trying to cancel my membership. The page (URL) that you are supposed to use to cancel gets an error message and does not work.
Imagine that!
I'll keep trying to cancel.
I was really impressed with Jenifer Hudson loosing weight and so decided to try it myself.
They said it was gonna be personalized, I paid $57.00 plus taxes, But turns out, you don't get any sort of personalized attention! The features are same as Calorie Counter! (Calorie Counter does it for free) Honest!
So I decided to withdraw, and close my account.. But guess what? The don't have proper instructions to do it. They don't have a Customer Care Number either! All they have is this stupid email address, which sends out automated mails saying we have received your email and will reply within 72 hours, its been 10 days now, still no reply..
My account is closed, my money gone, and I am still fat! Damn you Weight Watchers!
BEWARE!
I signed up for the 3 month Weight Watchers online plan and enjoyed using Weight Watcher's services. However, I'm on a fixed budget and decided that I would not renew after 3 months. I did not remember that my membership would be automatically renewed until I asked them to cancel it. So, now I've paid for 2 months I never used because it was charged to my credit card. Weight Watchers will not refund this unwanted and unused service because I didn't cancel per the agreement. Anybody else have this problem? I understand that I agreed to the contract but sure wish WW would notify us shortly before renewal time to remind us. I feel taken advantage of and not valued as a customer.
Why O Why did you change a great product?
Chocolate covered...great
Now 1/2 covered with chocolate...not good
Don't tell me you did this t save money
I am now a former customer...why do companies treat their customers so poorly?

Weight watchers offered free membership if I signed up for a 3 month membership commitment. But beware of the fine print where they will continue to charge you regardless of use and without notification until you call them to cancel. The program is a rip off and did not work. It is time consuming to find and record all foods and activities. When I asked for a refund for the months I was being charged while not using the program they refused and pointed out the fine print. Beward, they take your money and do nothing for it!
I never received my extra week that was promised. Carol Brown M22865178 This was promised on the phone and my card does not reflect that 6897 Ketona N.P. Florida 34287
I have been trying to cancel my membership for months, with no results what a rip off. They need to tell the truth about their cancellation policy. Which is impossible . They keep drafting the money out of my account though! I think something should be done about weight watchers. I do not know what to do about this, I need HELP!
beware - free 30 day trial is not free!
Beware of Weight Watchers online free 30 day trial... it's not free. Even if you cancel within the 30 days, your credit card is billed for $65 before the period is up. My daughter and I were browsing online diet plans on the internet and the only way you could view weight watchers information was to sign up for a "risk free" 30 day trial, but you have to give your credit card number. Dumb me! We cancelled within the 30 days, but what you don't see is that you have to print the cancellation notice and fax or mail it to Weight Watcher in Kansas or they don't recognize your cancellation. This detail is cleverly hidden from you. There is not a phone number listed on their entire web site other than a fax number. the only way to contact them is via an email "form" with a small box for information. You can't even email them back. They know it's a scam and they don't want to talk to you. Beware!
Sincerely,

The person who interviews you does not represent Jenny Craig by being polite and does not look the part. I thought this was a weight-loss company.. I felt discriminated by her for looking the part. Where is the sense in this? No longer will I apply or even use this company if I needed to even lose five pounds. I would use Weight Watchers.

I Cancelled my membership today and was told I can't have a refund because I was a day late! The money is pending my account not even paid yet! What a ripoff, so I'm out my money and you get a month free, will never join again. Maybe those of us who get scammed should file a class action suit.I will be writing to consumer protection about this!
they billed me on 26 Sept I cancelled on 26 Sept 2 weeks before the next cycle but the thieving corporation refuses to refund my money
Found what seems to be a coated bread wrapper in my cooked food, thought it was an uncooked piece of spaghetti so almost swallowed it, luckily i took it out and looked at it, might have caused major damage to me! I didnt know exact email to send complaint to, i have a picture, again, didnt find an email to attach it to, buyer beware!
WW is starting a new program effective Dec 3rd however they are not disclosing any information about the new program until Dec 9th. That does not make any sense how are we supposed to follow the program? We are having a meeting on Dec 2nd why wouldn't it be reviewed at this time? Very disappointed.
I hadn't purchased the toffee ice cream bars in quite some time. They have shrunk in size and they are only covered halfway with toffee---bummer. The old recipe was a lot better!
The online app never worked for me, just kept spinning, when I called they blamed my phone or internet service, so I canceled my 3 month plan, P.S. that wasn't easy either, which they charged me 39.99 for canceling it. DONT sign up for this, its not worth it, they only want your money ...
Trying to activate my Lifetime Etools numbers is a nightmare. There is no direct way to enter this number without going through a maze of different areas. I am going to to continue to call instead of trying to do this on my computer.
This company started out great. The online program is not very good, though. When I singed up for the 30 day trial, I realized that immediately. Never used it. Would have liked to attend meetings, but now I will never use them at all after they did to me exactly what happened to the original complainer in this thread.
What rotten customer service!

I too joined thinking it was free and was totally confused about how to use the site and I didn't have a cell phone with internet to help me through the day so I cancelled within 15 minutes. Also was told they will not refund me my 56.95. I am contacting my State attorney in Oregon to file a consumer complaint. Maybe if they get enough of them they will discontinue their sneaky practices.
