I can't contact this company to stop this and the only reason I figured this out is because it made my account balance over limit. I am careful usually and I don't even use this card anymore because the interest is ridiculous. Has anyone out there figured out how to contact them and set them straight?

What kind of products have people out there ordered before they discovered that this company started showing up on their credit card statement? I know myself I ordered Lens Dr the liquid eyeglass repair stuff that you fix horrible scratches so you don't have to buy another pair of glasses. Since figuring this out I have probably spent that much because I didn't notice these charges until now. They are charging me 16.95 and have been since Feb. at least. I am so mad it is ruining my mother's day with my mom. She is sitting in the other room while I try and figure out how I can fix this problem but because it being Sunday no one is answering any phones even my credit card company. So I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow to flip out all over again.

DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY SCAM YOU

If you order something just order that product when they ask you if you want this and that say no. No special speedy delivery or anything besides the product at least that is how I think I got this charge on my account. Who knows I will never order anything online again.

Which stinks because I don't drive and this comes in handy occasionally.

Thanks for listening,
Kim

I just got this value thing in the mail yesterday and I left it on the table. My husband picked it up and asked about it, so I put the address in the computer and came to this. I called [protected] and got it cancelled before I was ever charged thanks to my nosy husband. I am so glad I came across this board first.

Sorry to all who didn't catch this in time

Kim

ok. So I searched and searched for an anwer to stop this mess, because the 1-800 # I called didn't go through and it was suppose to be normal business hours on a Monday so I had no idea what to do. I couldn't understand what the website was the operator said to go to it sounded like programdot.com but it's PROGRAMSTOP.COM and it lets you fill out a quick cancellation form if you can't get hold of an operator. And if you want a refund it has a page you can print out for that. The best advice I can give. I'm sorry to everyone that this happened to, it's unfortunate that's the way the world works. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you so much for providing the number. I have been scammed like this before but I had caught it like 4 months down the line. Today I checked my bank account and I saw a pending charge for MC Value Plus. I called the number and told the woman to cancel it. They are going to refund my money and no other charges will be made to my account. I also told her to take me off any list that they may have with my number...she placed me on a do not call list. This company is so annoying...ugh!

The majority of what I see wrong about the address that most of you have been entering the web address wrong. Second of all, if you have been charged hundreds and even thousands of dollars, then who, but yourself, can you blame for not checking your statements. These are legitimate memberships and you have to physically enter your information to be signed up. There are recordings and electronic signatures on file to back up these charges. That's why we are still able to do business. You guessed it, I work for the company. So go ahead and spend all that money getting legal help when it won't do you any good. We have covered all of our bases on every aspect.

This site has been really helpful. My dad called and asked me about a WC Value Plus charge on his credit card. He said he had no idea what WC Value Plus is or how they end up charging his card, for the second month. I looked over his transactions and found the WC Value Plus charge along with their number [protected]). I googled that number and came upon this site. I now realize that it is a scam after reading others' comments. I called the number but got a recording that they are not open on Saturdays. I went to the website they gave on the recording (programstop.com) and filled out the cancellation form. I am now waiting to see if this actually works or if the cancellation is also a scam. My dad plans to call the credit card company to make sure these charges stop.

Ya know i feel bad for the people who work there since they aren't the ones who signed you up and they are just a bunch of teenagers looking for a summer job that get yelled at the distribution partners are the people that should be getting yelled at they sign you up not the people who cancel it and refund it for you

I have been on the phone with this company today. The same story. 19.95 a month but they took 19.95 for four straight days this month. Of course no record of us in the system. We called them and they were vague with info. The man would not give us an employ ID number or any info other than his name was none other than Chris. I think for the first time in my life my blood pressure went up. I googled them as we were talking and got this web site and the pressure went even higher. Our bank is currently trying to get money back and cancel the account. What a nightmare.

I havn't had any big charges, only 1.00 at a time, but i have a feeling that it is giong to charge more eventually. What do I do, do I call their number and cancel my account? Will that work or would that just be more trouble than it is worth.

This company has been taking $16.95 a month out of my account for a year. My husband contacted Michael Murphy and had a few choice words for him. Mr. Murphy could not provide any record of an agreement between him and I allowing him to charge our account. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau and have received a case number. I hope this issue with WC Value plus can be resolved. All the information on this page was very helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I too was taken by this scam. I saw the charge for 1.00 on my bank statement and thought I'd check out who these people are. I ended up here. I had ordered the snuggies online sometime over christmas and this is where they got my information from. I've just called the 800 number given here and their computers are froze...hmmm. I'm going to my bank tomorrow to either cancel my card or have them freeze any charges from this company. Thanks all for the info.

These clowns tried to rip me off too. The company is actually Provell, the Better Business Bureau page on them is http://minnesota.app.bbb.org/report/1530 Fortunately my bank was a little more cooperative in reversing the charges. Oddly enough I went through this SAME crap almost 10 years ago with these same bozos! I had bought something through a Damark catalog (yet another name these crooks do business under) and the beginning of the following year they charged me for a "membership" I did not request. I filed a complaint against them back then & got my money back. A few months later the Attorney General of Minnesota called me; they were investigating them for fraud back then! I can't BELIEVE these dirtbags are still in business! I filed another complaint against them with the BBB for the latest unauthorized charge, I would definitely contact the Minnesota Attorney General too! Good Luck!

Thank God I found this. These ### have charged my bank account twice for $16.95 each time. I now have the number thanks to all of you and I will be contacting them for a refund for both months. I cannot believe that my bank allowed them to take the money out, especially since I contacted them and told them that this charge was fradulant! I never signed up for anything and can't believe they stole my credit card number! I have been out of work for 5 weeks and cannot afford to have even 1 penny be taken from my account. These people are going to regret doing this to me! It's amazing how scummy people have become! Thank you to everyone who has provided information on these people!

I just phoned to cancel as after two months I stil hadn't received anything from them, no welcome pack or any other offers. I suspect they get a lot of people cancelling as it was too easy, no argument no questions. They say they will credit my account in the next week, will see if that happens or not.

My bank called me and told me that "WC Value Plus" tried to charge my account but the charge was denied. I have never had any contact with this company. I had my card cancelled and am having the bank issue another one.

I had another company called "At Home Rewards" that tried to charge the same amount of $19.95 which I see is another topic on this site.

I would recommend checking your bank statements, or online bank accounts frequently and changing your cards periodically.

This is so sad. We work hard for our money. Is there any government agency that could investigate, and prosecute these companies?

This company will not return my money after charging me twice for the product. the keep saying it will be refunded but after 6 months and 25 calls, still no refund. They are typical of the companies that intentionally structure their company to refuse refunds even if they steal from you.

Ask for a refund ALWAYS...they give refunds, no matter how long ago it goes back with no questions asked. They cancel and refund, that is what the reps are there for. I worked there and can verify. If you get someone cranky ask to talk to a supervisor. Stand up for your rights!

I noticed that a charge of $16.95 had appeared on two of my credit card statements. I called the number [protected] snf they told me it was a monthly membership charge. I did not authorized this charge and told them I wanted to cancel it now! They gave me a confirmation number and told me it was going to be taken care of. If it is on there next month I am calling them back and demanding a full refund. If nothing happens then next stop is the Attorney General of my state.

Does anyone know if the companies we bought something from know about this happening? The only place I've been to when I noticed the charges was a game website. I purchsed a couple of games from them.
I want to know if they have anything to do with it. I'm e-mailing them about this tonight.

I just noticed a charge on my account from this same company and it had the phone number listed. It was only $1 but it is still scary that someone can charge to your account with out your consent. My fiance and I recently purchased the 10-minute trainer system from Beachbody and we keep receiving so many spam emails and soliciting phone calls. I called the number listed and she said that I was in my 30 day trial. I told her that I wanted to cancel and she did. I am never going to order from that company again. I have never had so many problems ordering something online than I have with Beachbody.

The same thing has just happened to me! I ordered the pedi paws and was then double charged for 16.95! I have cancelled my CC and Im getting a new one. I also called the number and the customer support guy was a jerk, telling me that maybe I should read the fine print more carefully. Maybe this company should not be such deceptful greedy crooks!

I too was ripped off and found when I went to my bank on another issue with Peticure.com I found this company just yeterday charged my visa debit card $16.95 I never gave my card number as I was in an airplane all day from 6am ubtil 5pm flying back home from an 8 day vacation in Las Vegas. How are they getting my card number when I have only had my laptop since August 1 and I have never entered my card number on it for anything. I tried to call the 800 number today but as it is a Saturday they are conveniently closed so I have to wait until Monday. I will let everyone know the result. I think this company needs to be shut down. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau in Michigan to complain first thing Monday morning. Thank you for this site so people who are scammed can protect themselves.

I also was being charged for this. I called and they would not explain to me what I was being charged for, but that they would give me a refund. A few weeks later I received a form in the mail to fill out and asking for the amount I wanted to be refunded. I listed each charge to my debit card and was refunded today. The trick is the letter that came in the mail looked like standard junk mail and I could have easily thrown it out. If you haven't gotten the letter, call them again to send you another one...and open all your mail!

wondering why don't customers read the terms and conditions before they go clicking on "ok". really why not just ask us to cancel and refund it. we aren't going to say no. jesus we work too just like ya'll do. hell its all recorded so why not ask for the info. we give it all when you call. and of course we are closed on the weekend is every other company that is closed on the wekend fraud too? if we were frauds you wouldn't be able to reach us. just be nice watch your statements. do people really not check there statements for over 2 years? come on...get real. you know you made a mistake. if you don't remember doing it just say so and ask for the refund.

This SCAM is just brilliant! I ordered the Pedi-Paws for my dogs. That is how they got my account number. But the really funny thing about this one is that I only had a certian amount of money in my account. That was for the product. I didn't know that they were signing me up for any thing, so when I checked my account and found that WC Value Plus got to my account BEFORE pedi paws did, I just called and they are reversing the charges. My bank is really good about stuff like this, if they didn't reverse it then my bank will make them. I just sent Pedi paws a e-mail telling them how I felt about this scam, and that they got what they deserved..
If I have to re order, then I won't. They are involved with a scam. Plain and simple.

I also received this fee on a card I have in my safe and have not used for 6 months. They first tried to blame if on my daughter who has not lived with me for over 2 years, does not have access to the safe, and there is only one card. Then they said ohhh, you daughter ordered something in 2006. They finally found my name, and said I placed the order back in April. I have never heard of these people, and if I had ordered anything from TV, I always say NO, and have them double check to be sure they did not enroll me in something. The woman on the phone was very rude, would not let me say anything, and I was being nice about it all. She said she would have this cancelled and refund my fee just charge in August. I never received a package, or prior fees from something I was suppose to have done in April. So this is the number I called, [protected]. Good luck.

When they first called me about it, I was at a baseball game and could barely make out what they were talking about. I guess that'll teach me to answer calls from numbers I don't know. I even told them I didn't want to sign up for anything on my account but they went ahead and charged me anyway. What a total scam!
