JustFlowers.comunethical and dishonest business practice. non existent customer service

My poor teen-age daughter tried to order me flowers for Mother's day and exactly like so many other of the hundreds of documented complaints, was overcharged and the order was not delivered until 2 days later with no notice. I carefully read their delivery policies, which they clearly violated and called the company after they gave her the run around. I spoke with a "customer service" representative who said all he could do was read me the policy - and though I explained that I had already read it and it had been violated, he said he had no ability to do anything about it. I insisted on a supervisor, who actually sounded a lot like the first guy I had spoken to. He was reluctant to give me his name but when I insisted he said it was "Paul". He refused to give a last name or identify the local florist who had processed the order. The flowers, when they finally arrived, had nothing to identify who had actually processed the order. Having read complaints from florists who have worked with this company, my guess is that JustFlowers.See Top 10 Worst Companies in Los Angeles, CAcom refuses to give any information about the florist because they don't want to have it confirmed that they were who dropped the ball. "Paul" told me there was no higher authority I could speak to because his "boss don't take calls." He insisted that an email had been sent informing my daughter that the flowers would be delayed. I asked him to please forward me the email that he insisted had been sent. He agreed and then sent a generic email dated today - obviously not any proof that this email sent. When I called him out on this he then stated that he was unable to send us a copy of the "actual" email and when it was sent. Though I read him the exact policies he refused to acknowledge they had been violated. I informed that we would seek remediation with our bank immediately and that I would be posting a complaint online and with the Better Business Bureau and the California Attorney General's office. There is no contact information for the "corporate office" except the general customer service number and no listing of CEO or any management. It appears that this company has been allowed to operate taking advantage of customers and florists alike. I can't believe the hundreds of negative reviews online that all say the same thing.
