Very little info. was usefull I got info for a dodge 1500. So I paid for info I could not really use. my email address is [protected]@roadrunner.com

scam
I wanted an answer to something troubling me..went to just answer.com, submitted my question, clicked on what I was willing to pay and they said they had someone registered under my e-mail acct. name and the page would not budge . After repeated attempts to undo the damage because I certainly did not get an answer of any kind because without my e-mail the program would not move forward. I had no choice but to x out of there. I called visa immediately and YES! the amount I had agreed to was already out there on my bill. They have to know no services were received!. Their program was set up by them, duh! I get the next duh!Don't even try to use them. I looked for a telephone number still thinking I could defend my use of MY e-mail address. There is no number. They know what they are doing!

yesterday, May 17th at 6:04 p.m., wanted answer from JustAnswer for a simple question. Agreed to $14 on credit card; was told it would take 15 minutes or less. Had other work to attend to and lowered the icon; forgot the program was running til early a.m. May 18th - 1:56 a.m., and finally canceled JustAnswer, receiving no answer to my question. Have Order Number. What's up with this lame company? - Judy R.
they were supposed to answer a computer question they never answered my but billed my card double what they said it would be.

This charge of $18.00 showed up on my credit card account. I never did any business of any kind with whoever this is.
I want a credit of the $18.00 and no more charges.

I received a $18 charge on my statement [credit card co. says they did another after the statement cut off]. Never had heard of them. Credit card dispute lady called them for a three way conservation and they agreed to credit the $36 and cancel all futher charges.
I have been online once and paid $46.00 and it is still coming out of my mastercard every month so I need to be credited $92.00., or I will get a lawyer to look at what you are doing...
Please give me an answer or that you will look into it?

Why can't you stop doing this comment business and get on with it?
How many times do I have to tell you that you need to credit my credit card account in the sum of $22.00. Dont' ask me again!
My comment is the same as I stated before. I feel that your company should credit my credit card account $22.00.
My comment is the same as I filled in before.
I have been billed $11 on 6/10/2010, and another $11 on 7/10/2010. I paid $11 for an answer I received earlier this year which was O.K. I do not owe anything further. A total of $22.00 needs to be taken off my credit card account. My name is Patricia A. Bird.
When I went on line to ask a divorce lawyer a question, I agreed to pay the $15.00 but for one time only! It is on my credit card statement again. This needs to be credited and taken permanently off of my account!
over charged
Used their medical site 02/23/10. Agreed amount was $18.00. One question asked, One accepted answer. Case closed, right? No! They double charged the amount agreed upon $18 now totaling $36! My intention now is to go to my bank and file fraudulent charges against justanswer.com as they do not respond to any of my inquiries.

unauthorized credit card charges
For those not familiar with this site, justanswer.com provides the user with access to professionals from doctors to lawyers to directly answer any and all questions you may have. For each question asked, if you like the response you receive, you are expected to pay one of three fees. If you didn't care for the answer or found it to be unhelpful, you're not required to pay. Additionally, before posting any questions, you're required to make an initial deposit via your credit card.
My trouble started after receiving my response from an expert. I had made a $15 deposit and had given the site my card number. After choosing to accept the response and pay for the advice I was given, I was directed to another screen that was not altogether clear in its directions, but seemed to be prompting me to verify how much I was willing to pay. In thinking this, I typed in $15, and, immediately feeling uneasy, checked my bank account online.
Apparently, this screen was prompting me to make an additional deposit so that I could ask further questions and, when I checked my account, I found that I had been charged an additional $15.Realizing the mistake, I immediately contacted customer service by sending one email to technical support and another one to a link which offered a 'good faith refund' on all deposits made. Neither email was responded to, and I simply went to bed that night expecting the situation would be resolved by morning. After all, the second charge had been incurred as a result of my misunderstanding one of the screens, so there was no reason to expect I would have any further problems.
When I woke up the next day, I checked my bank account to see if my $15 had been restored, and found instead that an additional $30 had been added to my account. I was forced to cancel my credit card and send for a new one to avoid any further charges, and, despite sending yet another email, I have heard nothing from the site. In the end my one question ended up costing me a whopping $60, and I'm very disappointed with the unresponsiveness ofcustomer service. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and would advise anyone who intends to do business with this site to really consider how much the answer to their question is worth to them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
It is very clearly worded "$5 to speak with a lawyer for this question" with a $60 monthly fee thereafter.I only authorized $5 for the stupid, unhelpful and obvious answer I received. It's a bait and switch scam.

£20 taken from my credit card without my consent
On 4th february 2017, using google, I went into justanswer.com. I asked a question "as an administrator, could I share my vodafone pay as you go mobile broadband with another userid area on my computer. The other area is called guest and does not have a password. I had tried various things and thought that if there was a way of allocating a password to the guest area without deleting the area then I could get the mobile broadband to work". I asked the question if they could tell me how to create a password on the guest area.
The answer I was given was from bill, whose online handle was cyberwerx and claimed to be an it solutions architect with 35+ years corporate experience designing and deploying wintel pcs, servers, clusters and sans.
The answer given did not change anything and I was in the same situation as when I started. They were going to charge me & pound;10 at this point but I never pressed the accept button. I was encouraged to give further details as to what had happened but the reply form did not work. I could not click the reply button. There was an accept button on the screen but I did not press it.
I then asked a question again on the home screen to give me further information as I did not have the same screen setup as he had and could not enter in the same details. His answer was not possible for me. The charge now came up as & pound;20 but I still did not press the accept button. At this point I gave up and left the site.
I find today that & pound;20 was taken out of my credit card account on 5th february to justanswer *experts myjabill.com ca
This is without my knowledge and without my acceptance.

Now suicidal! have put a detail urgent request through for help all they want is my money of which I have none of. Also this is an American site of which they will have no idea of what I'm talking about, since the American system is quite different to here. Oh yes they want to help but I have to pay first! I still can't shut their web page down until I shut my computer down.
I don't need this ### I need professional help now, as this is really serious...
Is there any humanity out there any more or is the evil $$$ the only thing people are after when some one is really venerable?
Stop these scams & time wasting when lives are at risk

I asked a question regarding a problem with my TV, for which I received a helpful answer, and so i was happy to pay the approx AU$ 22 fee. I am not happy to keep paying that fee every month however, even though I only used the service on one occasion last December. I contacted JustAnswer by email and phone (from Australia to San Francisco, so not a local call charge involved there) to let them know that an amount of approx $20 - $22 was being deducted from my credit card every month without authorisation and initially received a response that encouraged me to believe this was an honest mistake that would be rectified, and I would be refunded the excess charges, and teh monthly deductions would be stopped. Unfortunately this doesn't appear to be the case as the deductions have continued, there has been no refund of the excess charges (now in the vicinity of AU$ 120), and there has been no response to my numerous recent emails asking for an update on a solution to this problem. Like many others, I've discovered this appears not to be a reputable business, but a scam. My only option now is to cancel my current credit card, which is a pain because I'll also have to re-organise numerous legitimate monthly deductions from that account. I'm not impressed!
I emailed Just Answer for help with a Legal enquiry. I was not able to access any answers sent to me due to problems with their computer system. I emailed their Technical department and after follow all of their instructions I was still not able to gain access to information.
On the 28/7/2017 my bank account was debited $78.28. My account was then debited with the amount of $97.85 on the 4/8/2017.
I request that the monies be refunded as I never received any of the requested information.
What a waste of money for NO information.

A little while ago, a charge showed up on my account from this company Just Answer. I don’t know who they are or how on earth they got my credit card number. I never authorized this. It was only a $15 charge, but they could keep charging me for who knows what and if they do these charges could really start adding up. I may have to cancel my credit card.
I once did a “Just Ask” thing for my dog, but for that I used a completely different credit card. That charge was also $15 dollars, but I did authorize this payment and it was paid months ago.
I thought maybe that this “Just Answer” could be related to the “Just Ask” company I used, but that still doesn’t explain how they got my credit card number and charged that account. So far they’ve only billed me once, but if they did it once without my permission I am sure they will do it again.
Has anyone else been scammed like this or charged without their permission by this “Just Answer” company? Does anyone know who they are? I am worried on how they got my credit card number and what other information they could get from me.
I requested from just answer a referral of a Mechanic or a Auto shop that had a mechanic
that was good on working on a mazda Rotary Engine, I never received a positive reply, just some advice on how to do a tune up on this engine, That is not what I requested. But I was doubled billed for a non requested answer, once in May and once in June. HOw can I get my payment returned.
Thank you
William Pierce
Bait and switch site. Show you your "experts" but these are not the people who answer your question. We asked a specific question about a commercial truck engine, particular make and model. The "experts" we were shown were mechanics for the company that makes this engine. But the guy who answered our question was not a truck mechanic. AND HIS ANWERS WERE JUST COPIED FROM THE INTERNET! Save your time and money. You make a deposit and pay the sham "expert" after you get an answer. They say you can get your money back from the deposit, but there is no recourse to do so. The only other thing to do if you don't like your answer is to use your deposit money, money you have already paid them, for a different question from yet another so called expert who sits in a recliner and surfs the internet for answers. Also was told we would have an answer within 2 hour time frame (1 hour and 42 minutes to be exact...), did not get our copied internet replies until the next day. Will plrobably have to change my credit card number so these crooks don't go shopping. Will file with Better Business Bureau as bait and switch.

I only asked them one question. Thought it was just a one of payment but they have taken over £40out of my account each month. stupid of me to give my details. Have tried to contact them but very difficult. Funny my question to them was unauthorised funds being taken from my accout. Just as they are doing. "Should be ashamed of themselves" In total over £100 taken out of my account.
I canceled this service after my one question. I will not use it often enough to pay each month you were very polite said it was done and I would get no more charges. I told you if I needed help again I would deffinately use your service again but I just found out you have been taking a $24.00 charge. Please stop and refund my money. I tried to go on my old account and reach you but there was no way?

I have some old [protected]) Word for Windows files which I put passwords on. (I know the passwords). I now operate Windows 7, with Office 2017 and it will not recover these files. I asked how may I recover them. I was told to deposit $US30, which would be refunded in full if an answer was not forthcoming within one month. That was last January, 2017. Now it is April, 2017. I have had no answer to my problem and no refund has been offered. I fear I have been scammed.
just answer I love all my experts but the company itself is no good. I spend a lot of money on this site thewy took away my option to write about my experts. just gave us faces. That dosen't tell the whole story because you can be happy with a answer but still not happy with the expect also they remove my add fund if i want to pay additional money I really can't I don't like to keep making single transactions. so the expects i have are great. but the company just answer it self is no good. give me freedom. also the pictures of happy customers are fake i ran them through tin eye. Why don't they use the real customers that are happy with the service.
a misrepresentation through claimed expert
I was looking for a solution to a oil boiler heating problem and decided to try this site out - the so called expert had little or limited knowledge of my problem, was from the usa; I was expecting a uk based engineer and when I realised that the so called expert had limited experience decided to withdraw from the service. I now discover they can hold the deposit I made with paypal for up to five days before refunding. If I was cynical and made the basic calculation that 10, 000 people had preferred to opt out then justanswers.com would make a lot of bank interest on the funds they are holding.

I am steaming about my dealing with this site. Had a question regarding TV. After submitting my credit card info x3 which they say was rejected by their processor, I called them and found out my info had been accepted and charged $25 without my permission! After talking more,
the more they hem-hawed around, denying a charge and
NEVER ANSWERED ANY QUESTION! What a scam! Don't GO THERE!
i agree with what i read here its seems like a scam i have asked for a refund its been 12 hours since i posted my question and i am still waiting for a reply
Anytime you use a credit card for any type of authorization your funds can be held for a few days. It is common for gas/petrol stations to authorize and hold funds from your card for more than the purchase to make sure the funds are available.
I've used them and it was great. $18 answer saved me $60.

sneaky website that won't let you click away!
It is not until after you've submitted your question that you find out you must pay to get an answer! At that point, you are not able to click away from the page, you will keep getting a pop-up window with 2 choices you don't want, either pay to continue or stay stuck on the same page. You can not use your browser back button to get away, and you can not close the browser window! The only way I was able to extricate myself from this black hole was to use bring up my Windows Task Manager and shut down the browser (Firefox) program.

Hi, A few minutes ago the weather was awful at the location I am at and we had a black out. Sorry about the delay. A few days ago I was in a website like that looking for information and answers. To get it you had to pay. Its almost horrible.

I was extremely worried about a nosebleed that I had gotten that lasted almost an hour. It was late, i couldn’t go the doctor’s office, so i searched online for advice. This site looked promising so I tried it out since it said it only cost $5. Turns out it DOESNT. It has a membership fee of like $40 dollars and it doesn’t notify you of it previously. I only notice it afterwards. I didnt want a membership, I only wanted to fix my problem. So I go to cancel it, and i was expecting a refund. But i dont get one. After trying to get to the refund page, it keeps showing a bad request page not letting me go to the refund page. Its a total scam. I want my refund because they didnt even end up fixing my problem anyway.
I ve ask 1 question and pay 1 euro and because i was content i send 3 euros as a tip!
To my surprise i get a bill for a subscription ad 29,00 euros and this happens for the second time and gi ves me much work to retrieve the money.
Cant login because i have no number to do so...its a mes and i feel robbed and give notice to my bank that its fraude!
I had the same problem just a minute ago! I’m trying to figure out how to get refunded they took everything I had! Did you get help? I need to know what to do. It said only $5 and that even that was “fully refundable”
They refunded me after I reported them to the BBB. Good luck
I got scammed also, 120$ on my credit card, What is BBB?
Thanks!
Google search sent me to JustAnswer where the screen said I would be charged $5 for my question. Then I discover that my credit card account was charged $5 plus a $55 membership fee. I was able to cancel membership but they refused to refund me the $55.
Scam, I want my money back.
It said I would be paying 5 dollars, refundable. It charged me 40 dollars. And the service itself was regrettable. It was generated answers I quite literally got on google search. So I tried getting on the website to request a refund and the website said I was blocked. So not only have they mislead me about the price but they have also not provided the services they promised to provide. Instead they have also cut me off from the services I paid for. Therefore I want my full purchase be refunded.
I was charged 2 times today and I don't even use the site I was charged $39 $46;and $1 and I want me money back
I've just found 2 $70 debits on my credit card. Completely unauthorized. Nowhere did they say that clicking on their website entitles them to take a monthly fee. When told it would cost $30 to speak to a technician I said no way but nah Just Answers decided to take $140 from me. I want that money back. I am a pensioner and can't afford to be ripped off like this.
My mother is having half her pension deducted monthly from her bank account. She did not consent to it. She is not even sure what it is for. Advicus Justanswer pay the money back. +[protected] and margaretarnolds631@gmail.com

Yes, Just Answer is a TOTAL scam. I "thought" it "sounded" ethical. In a hurry, I needed a quick answer about cell phone functionality, gave my card # for a quick ? and moved on. No one said: Are you a client or is this a one time only question?. Then started charging me 46.00 per month. My to-do list included call and explain and get refund. Sadly, their business model appears based on getting busy people in a hurry to give their card # and not allow refund when busy people have time to call about the misunderstanding. You do not set up that business model unless you know people in a hurry don't have to read terms and conditions. Businesses with toilet ethics eventually do end up there, but how many people are going to get scammed until they do? I'm a retiree and don't have money for scams. I need that $184.00 to feed my cats.
illegal breach of privacy
I was assured that my credit card would not be charged unless I was satisfied with my answer. Since I was not given an answer at all, and therefore was not satisfied, I should not have been charged at all.
I want a refund!

obviously the above comment is FROM justanswer. The BBB reports 318 complaints against Justanswer. Recently they sent me an email saying they were sending a partial refund to me, at a Just answer account. I wont be satisfied until they send it to Paypal, which, incidentaly is a lot easier to talk to than your credit card company.

I asked a questions at Justanswer and they couldnt answer so all I did was click the help button and ask for a refund and I had my deposit back in less than 24hrs.
Since then I have asked a lot more questions and had a great experience with all of them.
No offence dude but if you did not read the instructions where it says you have to pay a refundable deposit then that is your own stupidity that you did not ask for it back
computer repair
The web-site was called Just Answer. I requested help with getting my printer to work. The page asked to check an amount that I would pay to have repair assistance. I did this and provided them with my credit card info. Then, I described the nature of my problem. It requested I watch their web-page and they promised prompt service. After a long wait, I left the page and became concerned as I provided my credit card info and received no reply from them.
After several days, I received an e-mail from them asking me to contact them with additional information.
In the mean time, I figured out how to fix my printer, so I told them to forget it after such a long wait.

fraudulent billing
I had an issue with my gas fireplace insert and needed to talk to an hvac expert w/out incurring the standard $95.00 + just to have one show up and take it from there. I thought I try justanswer.com but now realize this was the site I needed to filter said on-line services through before continuing.
I had read the original manual, and have decent troubleshooting skills, for some reason this season my 6 year old gas fireplace would not ignite the pilot. I have pretty decent troubleshooting skills so my questions were very specific. The first three responses, the justanswer expert spoke around my questions, I had to re ask it.com four times before gaining any new information. While the new info was good to have, it wasn't pertinent to the fix. A complete shut down and restart of the process actually got my unit lit on third try.
I ok'd the $15.00 charge (Credit union visa card) the agreed upon sum and saw charge cross w/in the week. One month later, just before christmas, I saw $15 & $ 30 dollar charges cross my account 12/21 to 12/24. I had card cancelled/re-issued and wrote up a dispute for charges. My credit union had corrected the disputed $75.00 to my account and issued my new card by monday of the new year. My credit union's insurance agent is broaching the issue with just answer.com

misrepreentation
misrepresented them selves advertise that they charge a fee and ask for info they guarente that you will have satisfaction or your money back. They advertise emply that they can give legal advise. when I asked question on a subject I was told that they could not give legal advise by a person called lady lawyer. She stated she could not give me legal advise. When I said that the web sight was misleading and I wanted my $18.00 back because I wasn't satisfied she said she was telling customer care to do so. I also contacted customer care and gt no where. I did not get my money back. Sight is very misleading. The guarentee your monies back if not satisfied and they do not follow through. Isn't that aganst the law? Especially when they guarentee it?

I used them just once in July and was billed $35.00. No Problem there.
However, I just noticed I've been charged $35.00/month for Aug-Sep-Oct- and Nov. They said when I filled out the payment on line I agreed to a monthly charge. They checked this off in advance and I was not aware of it.
Today I spoke to Ms. Krizia (Nov. 21) and she agreed to cancel my subscription but not refund the 4 months I was charged.
This is a scam. I have notified my bank and the Attorney General of New York and am requesting an investigation of this company.

Same situation here.
Don't lose your money for nothing! I regret to have clicked on JustAnswer. I used their service one time on 12/9 /21 and was charged $39 for that service on my debit card. After three days, on 12/12/21, I found a pending charge of $46 on my same debit account under the name of Justanswer* expert . When I called asked about the charge to their customer service, they answered that it is a membership charge that I never asked and never seen any information about membership during my service. The guy answered they charge $46 membership fee unless I cancel it that I have never made. Also, no refunds is possible.
JustAnswer is definitely an internet scam of serious credit card theft. Their tactic is to lure people with unsolvable problem to ask them question with a so called "good faith" deposit. Once they get your CC deposit, their steal the CC details and charge you on what they like (membership, advice charges, etc.). I my case, they forced their unwanted membership on me and charged me 69 AUD without my knowledge and consent. I have made several complaints and will continue to do so until they fix my problem and drop their fraudulent practice.

This happened to me, too as of March 2021. They haven’t changed their tactics yet!
the exact thing happened to me bro! so did u get ur money back?
2022 here bro same thing
I've been charged from June 2022 to August 2023, I did not authorized this. As far as I'm concerned, they have stolen $800 from me! Dont use their services, they will automatically charge u every mont with no receptts, no emails, just charge your credit card.
Went to the NOLA website for tax advice as my husband is on disability and is being taxed at a high rate for his federal employee pension. The site directed me to a law firm that called immediately. The lawyer gave me some very bad advice and I thanked him and hung up. I looked at my bank statement and a week later I see an unknown charge from JustAnswer for 49.66 plus a trial membership charge for 1.86. I never visited this website. I never gave my credit card information to the NOLA site or to the lawyer that contacted me. How is this even possible? I will be disputing the charge and contacting JustAnswer to stop charging us for a service we never signed up for. How on earth were they able to access our credit card information? This is a dangerous and scary scam!
I had an illuminating series of communications with JustAsk.com. Was having difficulty getting my iPhone to synch up to my iMac computer, so I searched the Internet for online advice from Apple. Up comes JustAnswer.mac. (Got that? Ends with .mac). Except it wasn't affiliated with Apple, but from a company with "experts" masquerading as Apple, unbeknownst to me. So they want my credit card data, and the next up pops a screen asking for a password, which I type in. BUT a message states that they already have my password on file! So I try all my Apple-related passwords, none work -- because this site is NOT related to the Apple company (despite their ".mac" suffix).
Then they charged $30 to my credit card -- BEFORE I received any help from them! Trying to get my dispute resolved, I found a JustAsk section on the site that (supposedly) was there to resolve customer complaints. Except it was the site for their LAWYERS to answer questions -- for another fee! I typed my explanation and complaint, and found they had charged an additional $47 for what was supposed to be dispute resolution. Long story short: they did refund part of these charges and stated they canceled the attorney "fees".
I don't know whether my threatening to complain to the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau made any difference.
I have to wonder why Apple hasn't sued JustAsk for tricking people into believing that they are affiliated with the company as "JustAsk.mac".
It appears that this is one of those companies that may give some good advice, but also trick people into giving out their credit card data so they can start ripping them off. Get that credit arid info up front, then start charging! VERY DUBIOUS.
I had a problem with an appliance. I was lead to believe that it would cost me $5 to ask, $11 when it was answered. It was cheaper that having someone come out to look at it so I agreed. I realized too late that they were billing me $26 per month for a "membership" that I did not sign up for. They even billed me twice in one month. Up till now they have billed me $156 that I probably won't get back. At least it taught me to be more careful with my bank statements. Don't fall for this scam.
Had a question about my 15 year old yorkie's extended time in heat. My vet was out of town, thought i would ask. Guy gave me ridiculous response, mainly that she probably had bladder cancer, and then charged me for two questions.
Stay away from them. Biggest ripoff i've stupidly used on here.
3/22/2016 I have attempted to cancel my credit card, my account with Just Answer to no success, they charged me three times on one question, they have been charging a monthly fee, I saved my info and nothing in there says there is a monthly membership. I sent an email about 3 weeks ago asking for my account to be cancelled.
this company have been taking £7 form my account for months for nothing
just ask took my money and never answered my question
rip off
I asked them a question about dog food, After the last step they asked me for money before they would answer my question. What a total rip off.

So far I was fully aware by the sign up page that id be paying a monthly fee. It makes sense. Yeah I wanted to pay just 1 or 5 bucks of an answer.. either the site itself should only be 1 to 5 dollars to use and obviously 40$ for a general vet questionare consultation is the normal ! , less sense vice versa.. the guy helped me fast and was patient and kind unlike a lot of other vets. While I waited I wanted to do something and not just do nothing to try and find aid for my animals until i can get them into the very busy vets. Finally I have an irl app. But I still need more help and hope I don't get screwed over in this because so many irl vets have failed me... I didn't know they wouldn't be able to prescribe stuff tho? Yikes
How does this phoney website rate above average? Like others I too have been scammed by the doubletalk of refundable $5 and quitting before using. I also quit the same day. Read the page over, didn't say when I will get my five, but hey it's only five. Three weeks later $51 missing from my account and after 3 hours of trying to get hold of an actual person, I was told the $5 was never refundable and even though I quit my membership I still have to pay for the month even though the site stated otherwise. Now it's trying to get another $46 outta my account. When will a class action lawsuit be filed? I got my screenshot! Jim
WARNING BEWARE ! DO NOT USE THIS SITE ITS A SCAM ! It said 1$
Thrn i was charged 35$
So i called the place and the guy said he would refund my money so i was like great!
He said i just have to answer some questions i said ok
So he started asking questions then he started ASKING PERSONAL QUESTIONS THAT DID NOT PERTAIN TO THE SITE I SIGNED UP FOR SO I TOLD HIM I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND WHY THESE QUESTIONS THAT WHEN I SIGNED UP THEY DIDNT ASK ME THEM QUESTIONS Asking me to verify all the places i have been living at and credit card statements and it was weird.so i told him again i feel uncomfortable and i hung up because my guy was Sayin RED FLAG!
Then I messaged him how uncomfortable he made me and he wrote back [censored] YOU [censored].. whattttt who says that to a customer.
AND THATS NOT THE END I LOOKED AT MY STATEMENT BANK AND I HAVE 3 different weird unwanted charges that are from sites like just answer sites like medical and id advantage and a dr site just like just answer
SO THAT POS MOTHER F-R
Used my card number to charge from different sites SO UNPROFESSIONAL!
I had to Cancel my Business credit card before this Loser THIEF THAT WORKS FOR THIS COMPANY JUST ANSWER JACKED MY INFO AND IS SELLING IT?
He sent me a message from this number
[protected]
SO JUST BEWARE AND DOOOO NOTTT USE THIS SITE
UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION HACKED AND SOLD!
I turned them Into BBB for hacking my personal info..:(
Do no use! I paid the $5 for asking a question, which was fine. Then I stated I did NOT want the subscription and would rather pay $5 per question. Whoever I was speaking with said that was fine & they would cancel the subscription. Didn't say anything about still being charged. Then I look at my account and was charged $35. I messaged them stating what happened and they said they looked over my account and I wasn't eligible for a refund. I emailed again stating I was never told I'd have to pay the $35. We will see what they say now. But it's bogus. I CLEARLY stated I didn't want a subscription and they said nothing about a $35 fee. Would NEVER use again!
Take extreme care! This company has continued to take money from my card for 7 months and wants me to 'subscribe' again to 'review' the issue.
They are ripping me off how is it they signed me up monthly membership but have no way I sign on and no email for me? Costing me 30 dollars a month. What a rip off, stay away everyone! Scam…….
Really. Says $5 refundable and then shows trying to charge $40
SNEAKY
I used this service pretty successfully and then was charged each month following which I understood would happen. However, I cancelled my membership a few weeks ago but noticed today a new charge. I called customer care and got a recorded review of my account: I no longer had a membership; it had been cancelled. I spoke with a customer care rep who told me she saw no record of cancellation and could not refund that amount. I re-cancelled my membership with her. Even though I explained I had already been told my account was no longer, she insisted she could not see that it had been cancelled. After much discussion, I asked to speak to a supervisor, to whom I explained the same information. She also said there could be no refund. I asked why I had gotten a cancelled account message before I even spoke with someone if I had not cancelled it. She just repeated that she could not refund it and that the March 24th charge was for March even tho memberships are charged BEFORE the month upcoming. She repeatedly stated that she couldn't give me a refund of the pending charge. It wasn't until I said I was going to leave a negative review that she DID give me the refund that she repeatedly stated she couldn't do. Their customer service was terrible!
My dog was not well it was 3am and we were trying to find out what to do. All local area vet offices were closed. We tried this service to find out what we should do or could do. I did not receive a response from the vet until 1:48pm in the afternoon. Every vet office answering service referred us to med vet. In my area it was an hour drive away and one that could have started earlier. Unfortunately I lost my fur baby at 4am because of their lack of response for an emergency situation.
I asked a question. They wanted more info about my dog. I thought to heck with this and I left the site and did not wait to receive an answer. But the following day there was a charge of $27 on my visa? Duh? Still charged and no answer given. I would not recommend this site at all. Money grab!
Hi Joanne,
We apologize for any confusion. If you were asking a veterinary question it's likely that the vet was asking some more specific clarifying questions to get a better idea of the cause of the issue. This is the exact same thing that the vet would do in the office.
The charge that you incurred was for the question that you posted. Please reach out to our customer care department at support@justanswer.com or by phone at 1-800-509-5721 and we'd be happy to look into this for you and see what happened more specifically with your experience.
Regards,
