Hooters overall experience

This was my second time at hooters and it was worse than my first. To start off, it took a while to get a server to come greet our table. In fact both times we had to go find a server and ask who was supposed to greet us. No one knew. It wasn't even busy, around 7:30pm on a Sunday
The server seemed new, we later found out she was working from a different store. When we were asked for our IDs, she hardly looked at them. I've served for 5 years and know it takes more time to look at an id and make sure it's authentic rather than a simple glance. This is also based off Virginia TIPs training. The drinks took a while to get (5 waters, pitcher of beer, and three kids drinks). One of the kids meals was missing a side and we were told that there were no more fruit cups, which was fine we ordered fries instead. However those fries didn't come and we had to remind the server several times about them including a side of melted butter, a second pitcher of beer, and my water I still haven't gotten.
My brother and mom ordered the naked wings tossed in mild buffalo sauce but both came with no sauce. That may have been a miscommunication on my part but there could have at least been a side of sauce. When I asked for a side of sauce the server looked annoyed and brought me what looked like orangish butter. I get that sauce is mixed with butter but it's melted, this was the consistency of whipped butter you get for toast.
I went to the bathroom and it was dirty. There was toilet paper and paper towels on the floor. All three toilets had brownish orange stains in the bowl and the paper towel dispenser had [censor] on it too. This was the same the 1st time I went too.
Overall, it was a really frustrating experience. I went a second time because i thought the first time was just an off day but I'm starting to think otherwise. I don't see myself going back to a hooters anytime soon.

Hooters wrong to-go food/kept on hold

I placed an order for Hooters with door dash. My car was flooded during hurricane Harvey so we've been using their service for lunch and never had a problem. Receive my order 30 minutes late, driver said restaurant made him wait, but could be on driver. When I recieved my order it was the completely wrong item. I ordered a sandwich and fries as well as an appetizer. I paid $26 and all I received was 10 wings. Door dash wasn't able to refund all of my money so I called hooters in Webster, tx. The girl that answered seemed a bit irritated with my issue, so she put me on hold to speak with a a manager. I waited 10 minutes on hold and just hung to call another delivery service. Very disappointed. I work in the service industry so I understand mistakes happen, however I just wanted it rectified.

Hooters secret shoppers

The issue is simple. Getting fire for an unfounded claim that the I.D. wasn't looked at when it was looked at. Do these secret shoppers even get investigated. Or is this just a ploy to get rid of people. It makes no sense to fire one of your best bartenders over a he said, she said case. So if someone doesn't like the service or food; They can get mad, then make a claim that the bartender didn't I.D. and you guys just fire people because of that no investigation just on what someone says?

Hooters food service

I ordered online and when I got there the waitress were very unprofessional had me standing at the door until I spoke to the waitress myself. then my salad I ordered was a chicken friend ceasar salad I expected a nice salad had bits and pieces of exactly two chunks of chicken with very little cheese spread on one side.. I am very upset because I paid almost 50 dollars and at least expected the same service as the dine in customers.. The waitress behind the bar also was very rude assisting customers who were already served at the bar instead of making sure my order was together she continued to assist them until I said something again including the boxing of my food looked so disgusting and was cold I picked my order up at 640 n the online order site stated it would be ready at 640 so I'm not understanding why my food was served cold

I order the potatoes salad with the St.Louis style wings . So food come looks good so I take one Bite of it and I bit into a rock yes a rock . So Yamah comes back over and I show her and she ask me what I want to do with my food or talk to the manager we’ll of course I do. So he comes over I show him what I just but into and he proceeds to tell me that y’all don’t make the potatoes salad that y’all buy it from someone else and just scoop on it on the bowls or plates.
I don’t care where it came from you sell it in your restaurant you are responsible for what you are serving to your customers

Hooters server

My husband and I came to Ocean city for a couple of days to celebrate his birthday. Hooters was one of places he loves to eat at. We went to this particular Hooters of west ocean city had such a horrible experience. The server (McKenzie)didn't hardly attended to our table. We had to flag her down for almost everything from our drinks, to our orders, to getting a wet napkins and etc. we were very surprised and disappointed with the service. This was one of the worse service ever! This Hooters may appeared nice, but the service is horrendous.

Hooters service

The $70 I just wasted was wasted incorrectly, I've always been a big fan of hooters. I love hooters but the service I received tonight was like no other, no attention to the guest, had to haunt her down for help, had to haunt her for the check, for my to go dessert because she'd be too busy laughing and talking with other waitresses and a men in a black shirt. I came to have a good time with my sisters and left extremely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Hooters ordering by phone

Today we tried to call in an order for pick up and called about three times and each of those times we were hung up on. When our call finally got answered, we were put on hold for about 5-7 minutes, then nobody took our order. We decided not to order food from this place because of that. We were not going to go in the restaurant because we didn't want that kind of customer service either.

Told home that the female who saw him was working at the time as well and we needed to leave right then. This was the manager her claimed, he is bald with a beard. I do not appreciate being done like this or do I appreciate to have a manager stopping us to tell my friend all this in the middle of the restaurant. It is embarrassing and pitiful! Hooters staff

I recently was employed by hooters one month ago. I have always wanted to work for hooters and I did everything I could to make sure I would get the job. Interviewed well, appeared like a hooters girl, had experience in customer service/waitressing/bartending all while having a career during the day. In all my years of work I have never been so disappointed to work for a company that is so prideful of their image and everything they stand for. Right off the bat on my first day of training the first girl I met was rude her first comment to me was "We never use to hire African American girls or ugly girls thank God you're pretty." Besides the fact that she complimented me it was very ugly of her to speak of the other new hires with such negativity and not even giving them the chance. I was so happy for myself and the new hires for getting hired on. The new hires were sweet girls with GREAT WORK ethics and outgoing personalities. So was I when I first started. A month later I dreaded going into work so I tried to put my two weeks in with my GM. He asked me my reasoning and asked me to stay. Reasons for wanting to quit were the excessive exposure to drugs while at work, girls asking me to hangout with them out of work to do them and once a girl came to work drunk. The excessive bullying from the "veterans" that have worked there for years for no reason. There reasoning for the bullying was because I was at the "bottom" and I had to work my way up. Favoritism between all the hooter girls and mangers it was never fair. I have a strong work ethic and so did the other new hires but it was never recognized not that I cared it to be but every day going into work the girls made you feel as if you weren't welcome especially if you didn't partake in the partying outside of work. I have a career during the day one I get drug tested for so the exposure made me very uncomfortable. It wasn't the temptation or that I wanted to partake in their bad habits but the fact that I thought Hooters was suppose to be a safe environment where I could go in make money, give great customer service to all the customers and work with other girls with the same goal of portraying the Hooters image. Not to go into work watch some girls go into the restroom and snort [censored]. Or have all the girls/kitchen staff come in under the influence. When I tell people what I have seen while working there they are appalled. Cleanliness of the restaurant didn't change until we went under new management (Josh) he was the only reason we saw less cockroaches. Customers would see cockroaches all the time while eating. I was still employed by Hooters when we had our annual Hootnanny. In the meeting we addressed our problems and the managers said things were going to change. The morning shift I worked right after the meeting nothing changed. Dirty tables while girls sat in TCB on their phones and eating mid shift because they're too hungover to be at work. Even if that girl was sitting in TCB and I was on the floor ready to work she would get more tables than me because she was a "veteran". Laziness is never okay with me I have worked too hard to get where I am and it never came from being lazy. All the new hires would complain to me about being bullied by the girls and begged me not to quit or let the girls run me out. I have texts from the nasty things girls would tell our new hires. You could tell a manger and all they would say is well its up to you if you want to work here not lets solve the problem. I wish I could continue to work for hooters because I loved serving the guests that came in and portraying the hooters image. I met so many customers within the month I worked there that would come see me on a regular basis and it breaks my heart I don't get to interact with them anymore. One of my last jobs before moving to Dallas was Disneyland in Anaheim, California I absolutely loved the work ethic and everything they stood for it was sad to go from that work environment to such a disappointment here at Hooters in Frisco. I am writing this in hopes that corporate or HR would look into the way these girls are running your company's restaurant.

Hooters unethical behaviour

Me and a friend have never been to hooters. So we decided to visit the Beckly wv store.Worst dining experience ever. You guys have a serious problem on your hands there.I worked at a Hardees as manager, ten years.I know how things work and what is going on there.Just by sitting and watching, by the condition of resteraunt and the poor service it's not hard to conclude the issues. We walk in.The hostess Brittani seats us.We sat there a half hour. The girl who was supposed to be our server.was at the next table over. She was sitting with what was evidently a local, regular customer. She seen us get seated.Totally ignored us.Walked right by us after talking with him the half hour we waited, being all secretive and purposely talking as if they didn't want us to hear.I gathered it was about getting some drugs or meeting up after she got off for whatever reason. That's not necessarily my buisness what people do after work. But if it's some sort of prostitution arrangement going on.Then the servers involved are using your resteraunt to get clients. Finally the hostess happened by within speaking distance.I politely asked, "who will be our server"? She rudely said, "your server"? "What did you guys do just walk in here and sit down" ? I said, " ummm.no you sat us here".How she did not remember that, is beyond me.I think drugs and people selling and using on the clock, is your major problem at this resteraunt.I'll get to that in a moment. But she said, "well that one girl was supposed to take your order, but I guess i'll have to".So reluctantly, she did.We waited another half hour on our beers. Then an hour for our wings and a burger. My appetizer finally arrived around five minutes before my wings. The servers were all gathered around a large table full of what I noticed was regulars. They were talking about stuff which happened last week and similar things, so this led me to believe they frequent your resteraunt. They were getting refills as soon as their mugs were empty.Thier food was brought out promptly and the servers were treating them like they were the last men on earth.Truly disturbing really. These guys were in their sixties so I figure they truly were not interested in them just because they found them attractive. My guess is their gross flirting and lap dance style waitressing gathers large tips, or perhaps arrangements are made for some after hours company from the sounds of their conversations. The bartender, an African American similar to whoopee goldbergs appearance. Was more interested in the loud group of ganster looking friends who were loud and rather obnoxious, hanging out at the bar.A few were wearing hooters outfits, drinking in uniform. This explains why it took a half hour to pour our two big daddy beers. The cooks seemed to be just standing around listening to their headphones texting, or being around the corner with any server who wandered back that way to get stuff from the back area.Following them like lost puppies. No wonder it took an hour to get an order of wings. Also, every fifteen minutes or so a server would take off out the door headed around the back of the building.Coming back in looking way more happy than when they walked out.I had this problem also I my store. So it's easy to recognize whats going on.There was a white escalade parked out back we noticed as we left, with employees who were going up to it's window.Dont take a genius to figure that out.And I only seen the manager once. After a hour of us being there.i see a car pull in and he then appeared.Mexican looking fellow.wearing striped manager shirt.Short, chubby guy with mustache. Not saying the "mexican" part of the desrciption as a racial profile.but just letting you know who he is because I have no other way to identify him.He looked like a slob.shirt all untucked. He was completely unconcerned about anything going on in his store. My guess is he leaves the store to go on personal errands or whatever. The servers were going to a fellow who I perceived as a general manager who was visiting the store. He had a black shirt. And a matching bookbag type satchel. They had to ask for his card to do something.I heard them say their manager was not there to help with whatever it was they needed the card for.If this guy was a general manager, I feel sorry for your business. He saw us walk in and be seated. He knew how long we waited. We was directing comments over his way, loud enough for him to hear, complaing about where our server was, and how long it was taking to get our drinks and food.Never once did he act like he cared nor did he say anything about how the store was being ran to any employee. He had some receipt type papers he was glancing over, and some papers. So I assumed he was a manager or the general manager.Hardees g.m. dress the same compared to regular managers, and also have the bookbags with computers to keep up with thier jobs. But he was mostly smiling and chuckling at whatever he was watching on his phone, oblivious to the things going on all around him.The store stunk like old beer which never gets wiped up.Gnats flyin all around the tables. The floor was sticky.I could here my shoes sticking as I walked to our table.Under table I could hear the sticky sound as I lifted my foot up and down.Table and seats were sticky. There was dirty dishes on every empty table. But yet there was me and my friend and six other guys eating at that time. They were not busy, And talking with hostess later on, she said they had not been busy all day.So theres no excuse as to why the place looked so bad and why we waited so long.It was like a personal party pad for employees and their local friends. The cook with the beard or goatee he spent a half hour sitting outside in front of windows on the smoking deck.Smoking and apparently arguing with someone on his phone. The other cooks had their headphones in, leaning and texting everytime I looked back to see how our food was coming along. The one white kid, he looked to be really struggling to get stuff done.Again, not being racial, but it is what it is.The black cook was just goofing around talking from the back to the bartender and her gang hanging out at the bar. When our food arrived.the hostess Brittani, sat in a chair at end of our table.Hinting about how she sure could use two hundred bucks. We began just asking her a bit about the place. We had checked the reviews for the resteraunt on facebook, as we sat waiting.Lo and behold.Every experience sounded like what we were currently going through. So we showed her what was being said. She was totally unconcerned and said "Oh well.i been here two months and I get hella good tips so that's all I care about."She kept saying how she wanted two hundred dollars.Give her two hundred bucks and our meals would be free ", she told my friend. My friend was like "oh no doubt I bet they would be".We shoulda got free meals and drinks anyways for such an experience. There is no manager skills whatsoever being applied in that store. The employees are doing whatever they want.Theres obviously no cleaning being done.Other than wiping table top off and probly a qwik sweep after close. The front windows look like a bunch of kids with greasy hands had been smearing their hands on every window. No cooks were wearing gloves.Waitresses walking around sniffing and sneezing like pill sniffers act.I've seen this firsthand due to the drug problem which began afflicting my Hardees.Anyways.i don't eat out because this is a problem in about every resteraunt I've visited in wv.It's been two years since i have went out anywhere to eat.Just letting you know, because apparently your district manager isn't filling his upper management in on whats clearly going on in the beckly wv store. You should begin sending someone in undercover so to speak for a week and just go in and see for yourselves. It'll blow your mind.As far as I could tell, freinds of bartender drank for free.I watched them slam down about six beers each and didn't see them pay with cash or card before leaving.Heck just read some of the reviews on facebook of the same store. All sound the same.Tho ones leaving good comments are from the beckly area as far as the ones I looked into. These are the locals they treat good, probly just because they already know those working there so of course they get treated as all customers should be getting treated.

Hooters kitchen staff

How do you let an underage kid drink om the job and smoke weed outside. This kind of behavior is disgusting i literally watched a black man about 6"1 buy weed and smoke it while on break. And how long are these breaks for them to be doing this and not only that he also came back in and was screaming profanity. He would not stop even when told to lower voice. I read this article about how that man was abusing this girl emotionally by cheating on her with muliple collegues especially the female managers and hed film it on snapchat and send it to her. And he would threaten to keep doing it if he left her. He would get molly ecstacy weed coke and alchol from his co workers and do them everyday sometimes he would get dropped off by his manger or his co worker and beat the girl and then when hed come off he would always say that hooters stressed him out and he was sorry. The girl was previously raped all her childhood and was obviously a weak girl. He made her pregnant at 16 and made her get an abortion . She couldnt come up for a long time in fear that he would take her life. When she finally was done with him. Once he came off work off drugs as usual he was never as mad as he dis and some awful things happened. Hooters needs to take responsibility and fire him not only for the girls life. But because youre not supposed to do that in a woeking enviorment. Youre not supposed to cause that much tention at work. They all know thats his girlfriend and all the do is call her crazy and let him do these things to her. I domt know but i think theirs a serious problem going on over there. Plus i dont want to go to hooters and have some boy yell about how his [censored] or [censored]. I want to sit eat and enjoy my time while pretty girls serve mw. I shouldnt have focus on the kitchen staff at all

Hooters her hooters did not make me happy

Tonight I sat at the bar at the Mishawaka Hooters and the "Native American" as she voiced loudly named Brittany was bartending. As the night went on I learned this girl had no problem with voicing her opinion loud and proud. A black lady came and sat at the bar to order some Togo food and after she left the bartender rolled her eyes and said I'm not racist I'm "ethnically biased" Then a little later I'm chatting with a couple of guys and she calls me an "[censor]" and "[censor] head" for stating my opinion then has the nerve to correct me on a word I said wrong and started hysterically at me! Even though she works at Hooters this girl wasn't anything but a fat [censor] to look at and could have been better without the cellulite. She didn't even smile the whole time but a couple fake forced times maybe someone needs to pull those shorts out of her [censor] maybe she was in pain and that's the reason she was such a nasty [censor].

Hooters management

We had previously ordered reserved seating for the McGregor/Mayweather fight at Hooters Plaza Bonita the day before it began. The manager there showed us the seating chart and we picked our booth and asked him if we could write our names. He said it was fine and to arrive before 7:30pm. Fight night comes, and when we arrive at 7pm, we see our seats taken and we begin to freak out because we weren't sure if they forgot about us. The hostess comes, addresses our issue, and brings the head manager to us. He tells us "we are sorry, you were supposed to get here before 6pm and if you didn't then others come and they want seats here so they will pay $80 for it. I'm sorry this happened ladies, here's your money back". I tried to tell him that the manager the day before TOLD US that we had to get there before 7:30pm. The head manager kept dismissing this saying "he wasn't supposed to do that, I'm sorry" and walked away. My mother and i had been looking forward to this fight since it was announced, and to have them tell us our PAID RESERVED SEATS were SOLD for a higher price BECAUSE WE WERE GIVEN THE WRONG TIMING INFORMATION, made it seem like to us they were bribed and dismissed any reservation of ours. We were so disappointed in the service and I sincerely hope you consider this outrageous activity here at the Plaza Bonita Hooters. This is totally unacceptable and, frankly, disheartening since now I can't see the fight I've been waiting very long for.

Hooters untrained staff

Hello. My husband and I arrived at the Davenport location at around 8:15 p.m. on 8/20/17 to dine for dinner. When we were seated at our table a server by the name of Haley arrived soon after to greet us. We were still waiting for our daughter so we just ordered our beverages and waited for her to arrive. Soon after she arrived at the restaurant we ordered our food. My husband ordered the Daytona wings, he usually orders the original hot but decided to try something new. My daughter ordered a cheese quesadilla with only cheese and chicken and I ordered the shrimp and spinach salad with blue cheese dressing on the side. Our food arrived at our table approximately 35 minutes later. My spinach salad was drenched in a vinaigrette dressing. I then went to the host stand to get a menu and the description did read that it came with a vinaigrette dressing so I do take part blame for that and decided just deal with it and eat it regardless of the fact that I was thinking that the waitress could have told me that it already came with dressing. However, my daughter could not eat her quesadilla whatsoever. It was extremely hot. My husband loves hot food and it was even hot for him. My daughter then got the waitress's attention and informed her that this was way to spicy for her to eat. By this time the manager had stopped over and we told her what had happened. The manager informed us she would correct this and would bring what we ordered. She told us this was a quick fix and that it would not take long. It took about 25 minutes for the quesadilla to get to the table. By this time my daughter was tired so we just boxed it up and left. I completely understand mistakes happen and don't go out to eat looking for something to complain about, but when the waitress does not know the menu this is a problem. The waitress was apologetic and did inform us that she had only been working at Hooters a couple of months and did not know the menu well. I try to be understanding of things like this, but this is not the experience we usually have when dining at Hooters. Perhaps more training should be enforced. On a positive note, Haley and the manager were both very friendly and apologetic about the experience.

Me and my husband had attended the grand opening at 90802 Ingram rd San Antonio TX Monday may 1 cards 39-40. We attended hooters on 8527 wurzbach rd San Antonio TX we then provided our waitress with our cards and didn't realize till we got home that waitress did not return them to us. We then contacted manager on duty he advised us that he would submit a email to his regional manager and never heard back. I waited almost two weeks and called again spoke with another manager and he assured me we would get them back as he too would send a email to regional manager it has been almost 1 month and no one had bothered to call us back. I feel this was unfair and I feel waitress kept our cards to use.

Hooters service & management

I visited your I drive / orlando restaurant.. I sat at the bar and finally got noticed after 10 minutes by KAT / bartender... who asked me if id like another drink... I said HI... How are you?... Ummm... I havent had anything yet do drink and I've been sitting here for 10 minutes where it looks like no one is working the bar!?... so I guess your the only bartender tonight.?.. She said no... Its myself and STEPH... what would u like to drink? I ordered a tall Coors Light draft... and asked for a menu. As I was watching several tv's... I did notice the 2nd bartender STEPH at the corner of the bar chatting with another hooters waitress — eating chips and dip with a female patron sitting at the bar who looked like she was an employee off the clock / close friend or roomate... laughing and talking like is was party time? I dont know who she was... but STEPH spent all of her time chatting and eating while on the clock as a bartender! Unacceptable! Meanwhile... the managers on the floor entirely noticed this congregation of unprofessionalism... and did NOTHING about it... I ordered the shrimp tacos from KAT / 15 minutes passed since I ordered... I got very discusted at the level of guest servive and incompetence of management... so I decided to pay for my beer and leave... but... again couldnt get any service! At this time here comes STEPH with a tray of small desert bites and asked me if id like some! I said NO id like to cash out and cancel my food order... and once your done with that you could go back to your friends and eat and chat... because I wouldn't want to bother you! KAT came over and now had my food after 20 mins now!... so I told her im leaving your service is unacceptable! I wont be back! She tried to say... let me get my manager... I said PLEASE dont waste your time... it wont do any good... So I left and will never visit a Hooters again... I promise. Id be embarrassed if I was a part of that stores staff because everyone should be providing the highest level of guest service and no one does..! So please keep empowering your TEAMS at every restaurant this way so you can continue to drive customers away... Robert Sanford / Orlando.
