Groupon.com refunds

I've been using Groupon for many years now and never had any problems until recently. In May I purchased a window washing deal for $59 to clean 15 windows, A&E Cleaning Solutions. Called to make appointment in beginning of June. A voicemail answered and I left a message. Got a call back from a different number from someone named Angel, not the same voice on the message machine. I booked appointment with Angel for June 19 to arrive between 1 to 3 p.m. I texted him my address and he responded he received it. He called me two times after that asking if he could come then, that he was in the area. I said no, that I'd see him on day of appt. June 19th, I texted him around 1 p.m. asking if he had a time that he'd be here, no response. Texted him at 2:30 asking the same, no response. Texted at 3:15 saying don't bother, having not heard from him that I would be contacting Groupon for refund. Then he calls me around 3:30 p.m. saying he was an hour away and could he still come and do the windows. I said no, that I'd been waiting all day and that 4:30 was not okay. Contacted your chat on the groupon website and asked for refund, was told I can only get credit, no refund, even though the person was not fulfilling the required service. At this time I'd also purchased two auto detailing deals for my husband and myself, and that company does not return any calls. That was a company named "Autotude." I told your representative to issue credit there too as they do not return calls nor answer the phone. I checked both of these companies out on Yelp prior to purchasing these "deals" and they had 4 stars! Now, a month later, A&E has 2.5 stars and a bunch of bad reviews in the last month. Autotude still has good reviews. I would like a refund of my $165 in credit. you have already had my money for the A&E deal for over a month and now you have another 110 this month. It seems to me that if the people that you sell these deals for cannot follow through with their deals, you should give the money back to the customer. It's the honest thing to do. There is nothing I am going to buy from Groupon now as I do not trust that any of them are legitimate deals!

Groupon.com theme park tickets regarding 15% off sitewide

On the 8/6/17 I purchased through Groupon app a deal that stated 15% off site wide until Midnight. I have a screen shot of the deal in the attachments. I purchased 6 village-roadshow-theme-parks tickets annual each costing $89*6 =$534. I placed the code flashsale in the box and was accepted. The deal indicated 15% off site wide to my calculations is $534-15%= $453.90. When I received my bank statement i was charged $520 where they only took 15% off one ticket. I contact service desk via email 5 minutes after I notice the mistake and was told too bad and it was 15% off a single ticket not a group ticket however no where on their app did it state this term. They have refused to give me back $66.10 on my account as they don't have these facilities and they were not in the wrong. Despite in the T&C 5.2 it states it can go back into your account. I have asked for this matter to go through to the complaints area and they have denied this saying we have credited $66 back into my Groupon account which i don't want. This is false advertising and if i purchased the tickets individually i could have saved 15% off each ticket. I informed them i want to speak to the complaints area and they did not care and declined my request. I am frustrated as their app does not indicate single purchase. They now will now not return my emails with the request to discuss this matter further. Deal purchased Village Roadshow Theme Parks Date of purchase:08.06.2017 No of Groupon 6 Amount $520.65.

Groupon.com atlanta skyview ferris wheel/family and friends package of 4 tickets

I purchased this Groupon and was unable to use it due to the facility being out of service. We repeatedly tried to call and check their website but could get no information. We eventually drove down and paid for parking, then waited in the cold for several hours ( the grandchildren really wanted to go). Eventually a worker came out and said they were unable to make it work. We never were able to use the Groupon.
This is the first time I've been back and I am requesting a replacement Groupon for this facility, the Atlanta SkyView Ferris Wheel. Please inform me how long it will take to resolve my issue.

Groupon.com ripoff and unethical behaviour

I bought a groupon to a workout studio that doesn't want to help me redeem it so they asked me to get a refund with groupon. As soon as I bought the groupon I emailed and called the studio but no answer. Just my luck that this was a long weekend and no one got back to me. I finally was able to get through to someone but now groupon doesn't want to give me a refund because the time has passed. I tried to cancel me order days before but there was no option so how am I supposed to get one? they don't want to help me. I have been a customer for almost 10 years. i am extremely sad this is happening to me. so disappointing

Groupon.com freeze facials -3 for 55

When I bought these, I had no idea I would need a corneal transplant. I am still in bandages and meds. The stitches stay in a year. I am afraid to to have my face frozen and frozen facial on face and freeze my eye. Cannot afford a rejection. My coupon expires 6/17. I was wondering if I could please trade this coupon for something else. For proof Dr. Lance Forstot Littleton Colorado. Thanks Sharon Lindimore.

Groupon.com outdoor seating area

Order a seating area from groupon at begin of the month to say it will be here with in 7 working days after speaking with numorous people on live chat all saying that my order will be with me to have too call them today to find out the seating area was supposed to arrive on the 18th and don't know where my item is?! How do you loose a £330 seating area? Why was groupon advisers telling me for last 4 days my item would be here by today! And still nothing?! This has now been refunded but won't hit my account for another 7 working days! Thanks groupon I had a speacal event tomorrow and now no seating area or money back into the account to go but 1! Won't be using this service again and will warn everyone else about the bad service we received from your team! Talk about no communication!

Groupon.com refurbished ipad

Bought refurbished iPad off Groupon. The information states that there's a 60 day warranty. The iPad is not holding a charge so I contacted the company. They gave me a contact to get in touch with and that contact told me to then get in touch with groupon. This has been going on for about a week. No one can give me answers and is giving me the run around.

Groupon.com have not received my coupon

Hello. I have purchased a coupon from Groupon and have not received it. I paid the full price and they took my money but did not send me my coupon. When I contacted Groupon customer care they said they'll check what was going on and said they'll contact me back later. Then they said that I'll get another coupon within a couple of days which also didn't happen.
But when I sent a refund request they simply didn't reply. I am so disappointed and will never use them again. I'm not surprised that there are so many people who were not satisfied with Groupon provided service. Better avoid this site.

Groupon.com impossible to make an appointment

I recieved a certificate through Groupon as a gift to get 2 haircuts by May 28, 2017... I recieved gift on February 27, 2017 ... I made numerous calls to the phone number listed on the Groupon ... No one ever answers! Goes to a voicemail! I left messages to call me regarding making an appointment... No one ever called back! My last call I let them know how unhappy I was with how they handled things, not returning a customers call ... I would definitely stay clear of this business!

Groupon.com 'no show' for window cleaning

I bought a 'Groupon' for window cleaning by 'The Best Cleaning Services'. As directed on the Groupon, I called to make an appointment to have my windows cleaned. I was given an appointment for Thursday, April 20th at 11:30 a.m. That day I made sure to move furniture so that no windows were blocked prior to appointment time. Just prior to 11 a.m. I received a call from a window cleaner saying that they had a late start to that day so they wouldn't arrive at my home until around 2 or 2:30 in the afternoon. I waited around all afternoon and they didn't arrive. When I called their office I got their answering machine and I left a message saying that nobody had come. I have had no response to the message that I left, so I ended up cancelling my Groupon. I am very dissatisfied with this company.

Groupon.com credit card information was stolen

I bought two Groupons from the website on April 20th 2017. Thirty minutes after those transactions, my credit card company called me said my credit card was used in suspected fraudulent charges in the amount of $2000.

I used the same credit card on line before. It was only after the Groupon purchases, the information was stolen. I believe the company's website was hacked or they have shady employees.

Groupon.com abella mayfair

Jan. 16/17 I ordered a sample of the skin care products for the total cost of just the shipping and handling which was charged by Heath Cosmet and Health Cream to my Visa on Jan. 17th. I received one tube of cream in a box delivered by Canada Post. My husband recently noticed that two charges each month were on our Visa in February and March to Health Face and Healthy Eye. I was surprised as I had not ordered anything since I ordered the initial sample in January and have not received any products from any company since the one 0.5oz sample tube of cream. I have spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with the customer service company today - 30 minutes with a representative and 60 minutes with a supervisor. I have requested full refund but so far all they have offered to do is to refund me for the April product (which is supposedly already in transit) and they tell me there is nothing they can do about the other amounts charged to my Visa - even though I did not order any of it and did not receive any of it. When I asked the CSR to let me speak to his supervisor he said that they do not take phone calls. I then called another phone number and was told that I was speaking to a supervisor. When he could not satisfy my concerns I asked to speak to his supervisor/manager/director/owner and he said that there is no one higher than him who will take phone calls but I could email and a manager will reply within 24-48 hours and will communicate directly with me. Initially the supervisor said the very best he could do was to offer me a credit to my Visa of 80USD (towards the 2 April products I should be receiving soon). When I continued to express that this was not acceptable he then said he could offer me his employee discount and instead of 80USD her could credit my Visa a total of 100USD (toward the same 2 products). I continued to say that this was not acceptable and he then came back with an offer to totally refund the April charges - and said he was already posting a 100USD credit on my Visa as a partial refund and the balance will be posted when I return the 2 products that are apparently in transit. He gave me 2 RMA #s to write on the boxes when I return them. He said that a manager will respond to my email to discuss my concerns about the other charges that he is not authorized to address. Waiting for the manager to reply.

Groupon.com refund!

I wanted to buy a phone and found one on Groupon! That was a great deal and that was probably the cheapest price online!
So I ordered my Samsung for only 150$ and was pretty happy until I realized I was charged the full original price!
Groupon support said they'll fix that, but weeks passed and there was no sign of my refund.
I contacted them recently and they said they need more time. I don't understand why does it take so long, it's more than a month now!
I would not recommend Groupon to anyone, maybe they have some good deals and discounts, but unfortunately my experience wasn't so pleasant.

Groupon had a ridiculous Mother's Day offer this year, 2017, for discounted flowers that were unable to be delivered on Mother's Day. They ought to be able to offer a full refund for undeliverable services and products since they are not providing any business at all and ignoring the customers's loss of money, time, and trust in business. It seems to be the age of let the buyer beware, but customers have the responsibility to take proper action against this sort of business behavior.

Groupon.com my coupon didn't work

I bought a discount coupon to a spa salon and was supposed to get a 75% discount. I made an appointment and when I arrived and was about to pay I was told that salon did not accept Groupon coupons!
I was shocked to hear that, because I used to buy a lot from Groupon and never had any issues. Salon manager explained that these coupons were still advertised on Groupon even though salon asked Groupon to remove them. Salon gave me a small discount of 30% as an excuse.
I have no idea what to do now! It seems that there is a possibility to buy fake coupons on Groupon! How is that even possible?

Groupon.com very rude rep!

I had an appointment which I made using my Groupon coupon but due to some circumstances I had to cancel it. I contacted Groupon customer care and asked for help and received nothing but rudeness and lack of manners!
Their rep was rude and impolite, she said that it was impossible to cancel anything. I asked for a manager but she said that there was no need for their manager to wasted his time on me. Yes, that was exactly what she told, plus her tone was nasty and unfriendly. I told her that I'm going to post negative reviews and she said that I can do whatever I want. I don't know her name because she refused to tell. Groupon you are terrible, train your staff better!

Groupon.com they steal your money

I bought a service of $149 from Groupon, and they charged me twice for the same service I bought. If I hadn't checked my account, they would have slipped away from their highly criminal fraudulent conduct!
I confronted them, and they said it was a technical issue. They are a huge online based company. As of 2015, their daily deal website's annual revenue is 3.12 billion US dollars. And they would have technical issue by charging people twice? I don't buy into that BS!

Groupon.com groupon let my account hacked. your financial details are in danger of abuse by third parties

This company knowingly or unknowingly allowed a third party to use my financial details stored in their systems to purchase goods without my knowledge and authority. I have been informed of the purchase by an email from the company, belonging to me again stored in their system. I have failed to log in, to find out what is happening, using my email as by that time the hacker had also changed my email to his. Having checked my bank account I noticed 2 charges one of which was refunded by Groupon ( so they are aware of the transactions) but the second one was not.I then contacted the company and explained the seriousness of the matter as they may have breached UK Data protection Act and Failed PCI Compliance. They have been given me excuses but not refunding me the existing amount which was unlawfully created by the third party by way of making an unlawful purchase. These events of course involved Groupon in UK HOWEVER, Groupon uses many servers in and outside UK and who knows where the leak is. Google searches reveal that this is not an isolated case and happening to many innocent people. SO IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU, AGAIN.

I am in the process in suing Groupon UK and will let Google and Credit Card Companies to be aware as well.

If this company stores, processes, or transmits any of the information recorded on a credit or debit card then it is required to be PCI compliant.

Although I believe they are PCI Compliant however they have let a third party order a merchandise and used my credit card to pay for it. This amounts to a serious breach in their credit card storage facilities. This will no doubt will affect other innocent parties and cause financial stress and suffering.

It is also required that this business maintains current compliance at all times In this respect THEY HAVE FAILED and if you purchase anything from this company using your credit card (or worse Debit Card), you may run the risk of a Third Party helping themselves with your hard earned cash.

Groupon.com don't buy tickets from groupon

We ordered eight tickets through Groupon for the Real Madrid vs Paris Soccer Match at the Ohio State Football stadium. Went to the game with six kids who were very excited to see the game along with another dad. We were supposed to be able to print tickets before we left, but their was a technical problem on the web site and tickets could not be printed. Called Groupon and they said, no problem, just go to the ticket window and they can give you tickets. I left my house at 4:00 for a 7:30 game. Called Groupon on the drive to Columbus to see if I could stop and print the tickets. I was told no, but they had a solution – get the tickets at the ticket window. With traffic, we got to the game and the line at the ticket window was probably 1000 people long since everyone that bought tickets through Groupon had to get in that line. We were in line for the first half, in line for half time, in line until midway through the second half. Still many people in line, so we weren't going to make any of the game. Left Columbus and drove home to Cincinnati. Got home at midnight. Didn't get to see any of the game and the kids were crushed.

Called Groupon the next day, 7/28 and talked to Ken. Asked for a refund of the tickets and for them to pay me for the eight wasted hours of everyone's time. Ken said that I would get a response within 72 hours. That was by 11:27 AM on 7/31 and I confirmed that time with Ken. No response. I called Groupon again on 8/1 and talked to Mark Joseph. Mark Joseph said that they would refund my ticket money to my Visa and he would work on my additional monetary request for the eight hours of my wasted time. He said they would get back in 72 hours, so by 11:15 on 8/4. Did get an email from Mark Joseph slightly after that time saying they were still working on it. Then I got an email from Groupon saying they were refund the ticket costs in Groupon $$, not to the Visa. Completely unacceptable. Responded to that email asking them to call me. No call. Got on the chat line with Jayasuriys S. Jayasuriya said they refunded us in Groupon $$. After too much back and forth, she agreed to refunding the ticket money to my Visa, just as Mark Joseph did six days earlier plus $10 in Groupon $.

Bottom line. Never buy tickets through Groupon. Don't trust Groupon. They have technology issues. They don't respond to customer complaint issues satisfactorily. You have to fight with them to get them to do what they say. They don't value their customers time.

Groupon.com rejected to extend for redeem

I'm called to helpline is to look for assist.
Voucher expiry on 15th July. The redemption merchant ask me to call Groupon whether allow for them to redeem. If yes they will give me my item and they get their business.
This customer services really rude. And I'm really don't understand why they are not willing to assist on this small issue and reject me upfront and answer that is not their business!
I been Groupon customer since 2010 and bought lots of Groupon before.
That's fine. I will never ever buy any voucher from Groupon!

Groupon.com fake coupon!

I have purchased a restaurant discount coupon from www.groupon.com because I wanted to take my wife on a date and wanted to surprise her.
The restaurant I picked was quite an expensive one so I was really happy when I found a discount coupon on Groupon.
When we arrived at the place and took our seats I asked the waiter about did I need to show the coupon before or after the meal and he asked what coupon! I explained that I found one on Groupon and the waiter asked us to wait and went to find the restaurant manager.
When the manager came he said that their restaurant does not have things like coupons at all! They made us a small discount as an apology.
I don't trust Groupon anymore!
