Since I had rented a car in the morning, I went to the previously given address of the shop, but to no avail. The shop was present, but no one knew the man or the phone number. When I explained the situation, they called the local police, who directed me to the Santiago police station. However, when I visited them on Friday, I was told that I needed to visit the police station in Puerto Plata, where I was living.

Due to my change in location, I went to the Las Terrenas police station on March 7th, 2022, at 10:51 AM and filed a complaint about the case. I am still unable to contact the seller, even though I can see that they were online on WhatsApp six days ago. However, the announcement is still active, with a slightly lower price of 35,000 RD$.
