22nd Dec asked for repair and advised fault, 29th Dec technician arrives, an hour late, with no parts and orders what is needed.Make $150 part payment.Says he will come back 5th Jan.Go online when he doesn't appear and it has been put back to next day.Parts arrive 6th Jan but go online and has been put back to 10th Jan.Arrives 10th Jan, right at end of 4 hour window, tells me the parts are faulty and orders more, he tells me he has expedited them and he or someone else will ring me later in day with information.No one rings.Next day ring GE and wait 45 minutes.No explanation of why no contact and told he will visit on 17th Jan.Ask to be put through to e senior person who can expedite and after 30 minute wait speak to Charielle(ex 5271) who sympathises, says she cannot expedite and give sme an incident no.[protected]).13th Jan replacement parts arrive.See the Top 10 Worst Complaints in Holmes Beach, FLOn 17th Jan find a swing ticket on door at 11:30 am saying technician called and no-one home, We did not receive a previsit warning, which is mandatory, have a very loud doorbell and were both up and around by 7:30 am.Rang Charielle(45 minute wait), went to voicemail and message was she would ring back in in 24-48 hours-still not done so.Had to redial in, waited 35 minutes to be told technician had called me(nothing on my call log and this is not the system anyway-it is an automated warning, Told she had rung "despatcher" to try to get someone earlier and would be rung within the hour.No one called so rang again(40 minute wait), and told it was only a request to this person and if he did not ring me that was OK !!.Also no email advice received for this or previous visit.Hoping he comes next week.Appalling service and systems is an understatement-no one cares, you wait for hours and no-one rings when they say they will .Peter Chappelow, 533 70th Street, Holmes Beach, Florida [protected], cell [protected], email [protected]
