AC4Life - Unpaid refund until legal action was taken

I purchased two batteries from AC Direct on 18 April 2023, order number #99210 On the 2nd May they advised me they were unable to meet the promised delivery and did I want to wait or obtain a refund. AC4Life Failure to honor order for mitsubishi mini split

Order: #31478 for MUZ-JP12WA-U1 and MSZ-JP12WA-U1 Mitsubishi Minisplit 12k BTU 17 SEER
Order Date: 7/7/2021

I'm not even sure this is a real business, to be honest. Try to find a recent review for AC4Life besides this one (formerly known before their bankruptcy as Acdirect, circa 2010). Check out their Yelp page that says "permanently closed". If you contact them, you will encounter: many rings before phone pickup (if at all), no answering machine, email communications without greetings that consist of one or two poorly written sentence fragments,... Fill out their price beat guarantee — no response. In addition to the poor and unprofessional communication, I was lied to and strung along. I was told, not once but twice, that the item I wanted was in stock. The website says "free shipping" everywhere; but, when you go to checkout, it changes to the tune of "free shipping to business address only, unless you pick up yourself from the closest freight terminal". I chose to go the freight terminal route, and was told that they would let me know the location before charging my credit card. When I called to check up, they said they couldn't do freight terminal anymore either. I was then told I needed to pay $75, and that my credit card had already been charged for the item, minus this amount. I politely mentioned that it was their mess-up, and that the professional thing for them to do was waive the $75 S&H. After a bit of hemming and hawing, they agreed and sent me a corrected invoice. Flash forward 1 week, after not having received tracking number, etc. They said that the item was in fact not in stock and that they had to cancel the order. Lots of lies wrapped up in there (they undersold me, but wouldn't admit?). We'll see if I actually get a refund. In the end, I hate to say it, but Kate (goes by "Kat") was incompetent, incapable, and uncaring. From the very beginning, my gut told me AC4Life was no good; there were too many red flags. However, they were the only ones who said they had stock and so I caved and unsurprisingly got burned. I strongly caution you not to attempt business with these charlatans. Make sure to check out the dozen or so reputable online review boards out there to learn more about this company.

Desired outcome: Honor Invoice and Ship Item Immediately

AC4Life non-delivery of product, inability to contact

I am not sure what is going with this company, but am becoming concerned it is having trouble. My order, placed over a month ago, has not arrived. I've received no word from a shipper about delivery. Company is not responding to emails and has not returned calls placed over the last 5 days. On only one occasion, among approx. 20 calls to 30 calls, was I able to get a live person on the phone. This is a word of caution. I will update this info.

I was charged 5000dollars for somthing I did not buy.no delivery on what I did purchase.They will still take orders even though there is noone at the place of buisness .others with problems can contact me at sdk352@gmail.com

I ordered a 2.5 ton Goodman system after looking around the web for a while. They were polite and helpful and shipped the unit right away. It was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. Maybe they are trying harder or changed management but I won't hesitate to use them again.

Have had same problem, no call back and down right lies may be out of business shortly, but just noticed web page has been updated ( new graphics ) cancel orders and run if you can 12/11/09
