My company bought a new Explorer Limited . I took delivery yesterday evening 1-11-18 . I did not notice how oxidized the paint was, along with 50 - 60 scratches . 4 door dings as well . Called the Dealer immediately, they said bring it in . I did . The scratches were so deep, they said they would have to paint some of the panels including the hood . I made it very clear that I purchased a new ford car to have factory paint job . I am a chemical engineer and my company manufactures coatings . I am well aware that Ford factory paint is far superior to body shop type work . Clean room application, post curing etc. We have a fleet of Ford Trucks, very happy with the products .The vehicle should have never left the Dealer in this condition !!! I voiced my concerns to the floor manager, Elliot Fleener over the phone, he hung up on me in mid sentence . Please help !
