I Could not agree more. (My Gandmother bought a brand new Eureka "power Paw" or something Upright, last summer or sometime.. )
8 months later, the ONLY thing it did was make a VERY severely LOUD rattling noise when then handle is pulled down far enough, or "engaged", and their so-called "support section,"...ROFL... "online" is more of a "self-complimments" section for their own confidence!!...hehe...NO Manuals, Forget getting it "serviced"! Just get another BRAND OF vacuum next time!
It has lesser suction than the intake of a frog belching!!!
Their the quote "service dept" has NOT responded to over 30 e-mails, By E-mail, automated e-mail, or even the usual postal, subtitled "sorry, but we don't give a blank" junk mail!...LOL
They just thoroughly and completely ignore them.
No more Eureka for ME or any of the 8 families of my lab partners in here.
This is one brand we'll stay VERY FAR AWAY on our next $300 purchase. Besides HATING uprights!...hehe...
What a piece of junk, not to mention a pothetic excuse for a "company," that utterly REFUSES to respond to ANY in the way of E-Mail, even Postal Mail..
At least MOST toy, TV, or even just watch makers respond very, very, amazingly quickly (within 12-24 hours or even much LESS) to even so much as a joke, much less any form of comment OR complaint, which is BY FAR more than can EVER be said for Eureka!
I couldn't agree more that Eureka does not repond and makes excuse after excuse!...
You would be a FAR MORE VALUED customer for an $8 model car from Monogram, or for paying maybe $19 for some cheapo toy watch from Timex than you will ever, EVER be by Eureka.
