Eureka Forbes / Vacuum Cleaner / Nr.1 cheats in this world!

I bought this product in Jan 2006 and it stopped working after 3 months. I have logged several complaints regarding this and no one has come to my place and they have not tried to contact me as well. Their service is one of the worst after sales support. My sincerer advise for the people is not to buy the euraka forbes products.

Their customer support is also pathetic. No one listens to us. I am planing to file a case in the consumer court for this. Please encourage all your friends not to buy any product from eureka fobes. They are the No1 cheats in this world. I regret for buying this product.

    I have had similar problems with eyreka fobes water purifier . i purchased this 2 years back and now lately purchased a service contract but the response is pathetic in spite of calling them so many times there is no response . when i complained to there banglore office they came and changed it but fitted in old parts they sure are cheats.

    Yes I also faced same problem I am using there water purifier since last one year , it got faulty three times in a year currently also its not working logged a complaint 5 days ago called them several times but no response currently we are borrowing water from our neighbor. I was planning to buy vacuum cleaner from them but now certainly not.

    I had bought a water purifier a few years back. Upon expiry of the warranty I had signed up for the contract. I have since then observed that the officials wait for the contract period to expire without offering any service. The water purifier is only serviced when called to do so. During the course of servicing if a fault cannot be corrected , they assure to come back the next day, however as the intentions are to cheat the customers nobody turns up again waiting for the contract to expiry. All my attempts to contact the top management have failed as the officials on the phone refuse to give the names & telephone nos of the senior person responsible, nor is the same available on the website of Eureka Forbes. I call them the cheats of the first grade !!

    Thanks for the information I was planning on buying this product but something about the sales put me off. Even after calling them twice they did not turn up on time. Then I looked into the forums and found this complaint. I will definitely not buy any product from Eureka Forbes and recommend all my friends not to do the same.

    Hi All,

    I have a very strange case recently by this so called no.1 direct marketing people.

    They came for showing a demo of a Vacuum cleaner and they are forcing almost that we should buy as the pack has been opened, bla bla, and left the machine at our house. When we contacted the representative's manager, he also reiterated that they showed the demo with new machine and cannot be packed again and this should be taken by us. For all, we never signed a single paper with them. This atrocious way of trying to sell a product. Rather they are blackmailing the housewives for selling the machines. My wife felt so guilty for asking for a demo with them.

    Hi all,

    I am a resident of Karikal (Puducherry District). My machine got fault after usage of exactly Ten times. I gave the machine for service to the center at Pondicherry. Till now there is no response for the service. They are saying we have ordered the spare it is not in stock. Their after sale service is worst, worst, worst.

    I also wonder how the powerful machine (they are saying) is getting fault within usage of TEN time after purchase. When i inquired about it they say it happens any one out of thousand people.

    I request you not to purchase any product of Eureka forbes aas the customer service is worst.

    I certainly agree. Someone or a group has to sue these cheaters, and make them pay for their mistakes. These guys are No.1 cheaters, and their support is the worst I've EVER EVER seen.

    Euraka Fobes is one of the worst company I have come across in my life. I purchased a vacuum cleaner from Mumbai. The red indicator keeps on glowing indicating the dust bag full inspite of dust bag being totally empty. When I made a complain regarding the same I was told that nothing would be done and I could do what I could do about it. They started talking rudely and gave me dhamki, that I could do what I could do.

    I agree to the complaints by all the consumers. The dealers of the eureka forbes are really hell. After purchasing the product they damn care for the problem of the consumers, similar is my problem they don't have ###.

    I have purchased a Water purifier from Eureka Fobes couple of years back. But each and every time we call their service Engineer we have to keep waiting and call him at least 10 - 15 times. They have to understand that they are playing with somebody's life and as we all know water is the cause of all disease.

    The company uses the call centers for receiving the complaint and they hardly know anything about this and they are just like dummy machines, you call them they attend. This is the worst company i have ever seen in service industry. They are just killing people. Its high time the company stops such product when they don't have enough service engineer's to handle the service.
    It only shows that they are so reckless about their product.

    I bought a water filter from forbes, the guy is suppose to come for servicing never turned up, i know that the shop for servicing is just 4 blocks from my house. I paid multiple visits to find his shop closed always, one fine morning the guy turned for servicing after 6 months with a service card showing my earlier service was done with my own signature. I was really surprised & asked who has made the signature, for which he does not have any answer, to amazing the guy packed and ran away.

    I too have problem with my water purifier. I have gone two times to their office for repairing the purifier. And now after two days the water is leaking again from back, which was exactly the problem they were supposed to repair. Now I have to take the purifier again. They some how want us to take their maintenance contract so that they will get money for doing nothing. So now they will make to run so that u will ultimately take the contract.

    I purchased the Water Purifier (RO Smart) one month ago, but from the last 15 days the water flow rate started reducing and from the last 3-4 days I am not getting water from the purifies. I called up the Eureka fobs branch which is close to my house and they said that some technical will visit your home. I am following them from the last 2 days but the issue has not been solved.

    Euraka Fobes is one of the worst company I have come across in my life. I purchased a vacuum cleaner and aqua flow from chennai. both are not working well. while selling this blety people are talking very nicely but while doing service ther behaver is very nasty, both vacuum cleaner and aqua flow are not working (within one year itself), aqua flow is leying at there customer service centre for past 2 months without repair. this great cheaters giving very good advertisment and cheating whole world.

    This is inform to all that we have purchased one vaccum cleaner. After a year it hase gone difective. we made several times complain for repairing but technician could not visited to chech it.

    This is worst example of post sale support by eureka .

    I Could not agree more. (My Gandmother bought a brand new Eureka "power Paw" or something Upright, last summer or sometime.. )

    8 months later, the ONLY thing it did was make a VERY severely LOUD rattling noise when then handle is pulled down far enough, or "engaged", and their so-called "support section,"...ROFL... "online" is more of a "self-complimments" section for their own confidence!!...hehe...NO Manuals, Forget getting it "serviced"! Just get another BRAND OF vacuum next time!

    It has lesser suction than the intake of a frog belching!!!

    Their the quote "service dept" has NOT responded to over 30 e-mails, By E-mail, automated e-mail, or even the usual postal, subtitled "sorry, but we don't give a blank" junk mail!...LOL

    They just thoroughly and completely ignore them.

    No more Eureka for ME or any of the 8 families of my lab partners in here.

    This is one brand we'll stay VERY FAR AWAY on our next $300 purchase. Besides HATING uprights!...hehe...

    What a piece of junk, not to mention a pothetic excuse for a "company," that utterly REFUSES to respond to ANY in the way of E-Mail, even Postal Mail..

    At least MOST toy, TV, or even just watch makers respond very, very, amazingly quickly (within 12-24 hours or even much LESS) to even so much as a joke, much less any form of comment OR complaint, which is BY FAR more than can EVER be said for Eureka!

    I couldn't agree more that Eureka does not repond and makes excuse after excuse!...

    You would be a FAR MORE VALUED customer for an $8 model car from Monogram, or for paying maybe $19 for some cheapo toy watch from Timex than you will ever, EVER be by Eureka.

    The services provided by this company is pathetic.The customer care center is good for nothing and the .I have a Aquagaurd at my home and there is some problem with it from many days.I have lauched a complain on 1st April 2008, but till date no one has come to resolve my problem.Whenever I call the customer care center they say that they will be sending technician today itself and this they are telling from 1st April.Today is 23 April and no one has arrived till now.I can't understand if this company can't provide services to there customers then why they every now and then ring our dors bell and ask :Do you have Aquagaurd at home?They should not sell their product if they can't provide services to there customers.I suggest everyone not to buy anything from this company ever in you life.

    I had bought a vacuum cleaner from Eureka, and the after sales support is tenth grade. I couldnt have purchased anything worse than that.

    I have also same problem with my water purifier & Euroclean. I have gone two times to their office for repairing the ACE but their response & reaction is very Unsophisticated.

    If there is a really Customer care then please rectify these type of problem otherwise this company loose their valuable customer due to lack of negligencey from their side only.
