Dollar Tree customer service

1/22/19
associate name chelsey
I had all items on counter ready for check out. My stuff was separated from the person in front of me. The associate continue to scan my items with the person in front of me (items). I told her that mine was separate and in very rude manner she scoffs and ask me are you serious? I said yes. She continued to say something under breath which i asked her excuse me? She then yells out loud that I should've divided it on my own with the "sticks" then slams the stick in front of me to demonstrate how its done. I ask her for her name and refused to tell me I asked her co worker who then called the manager over. Her attitude completely changed and turns to me and says "so there tell him what i did tell him your side of the story" as if i was going to tell a lie. The manager did not care and I did not say anything further but just observed her still telling "her story" I just glance over at him and tell him do you see what attitude she has. Nothing was done. Bad customer service really does ruin an experience of JUST checking out. The associate did not have to keep poking at a situation that literally could've been prevented.

Dollar Tree service from assistant manager

I went into the dollar tree store in Kissimme Florida today. I purchased a few items total of $21.50. I gave the chaser a $50.00 bill which she had to call the manager to approve. That was fine with me. The manager came over with an attitude and told the cashier to take a credit card from me She told the girl should could not give me change. I asked her did the entire store have less than $50. The store was very busy and I am sure she could have cashed a $50. The customer in back of me offered to break the $50. Bill but in a huff she went in her office and came out with the change.. she was the rudest person I have ever met. It makes me feel that I will never go back to that store. Even the cashier was embarrassed for her

Stores like that rarely have that much change because of robbery potential. Have smaller bills next time and you'll be fine.

Dollar Tree is a corporation. There's nothing the city or the mayor can do. You need to call corporate and tell them your concerns.

Dollar Tree cheap reading glasses are a fraud!

Reading glasses are a ripoff. They are junk. They are made by melting the plastic to curve/diopter. Only the center of the lens is proper diopter. When reading the bottom of a page, the eye is looking through the lower part of the lens which is NOT the correct diopter and the eye adjusts/squints to compensate; same for when reading near/at the top of a page. Hold the DollarTree/cheap glasses about a foot from the eye and you will see the curvature of the lens. On a good quality pair of glasses, there is NO curve of the image; the page will always be in focus at all areas. Note I bought several different sizes and diopters. All suffer from same flaw.

Dollar Tree store manager

Store Manager was the most rude employee i have ever encountered.

I asked the cashier if there were more batteries to restock since i was buying a bunch in preparation for a storm.

The cashier politely responded to my question and asked the manager. Elsie the store manager belligerently replied loudly and rude "pay attention to your line"

This response was completely uncalled for to the cashier. The line was long because the manager was not helping call for back up or helping ring herself.

I was trying to let them know the shelf was close to empty and there were other customers looking for D batteries.

I responded to Elisie' rudeness by replying "wow that was rude." I asked her "what her position was" and her response was "manager" in a snide and rude tone.

If dollar tree employees young girls who are nasty and rude to their employees, who are older mature adults when they are trying to help a customer then i will never shop at this company ever again.

She needs to be fired. I will spread the word to everyone i know that girl is nasty and not to shop and support a company that allows their managers to abuse their employees.

I want a written apology from that manager and I expect you to force her to apologize to that cashier.

Wow wanting someone fired. How would you feel if you got fired from a job and had no source of income for months and couldn't feed yourself? You could've bought what they had and went to another store and got more. If you had asked the manager for help instead of the cashier who was busy with other customers BTW, you could've saved yourself all that.

Dollar Tree employees allowing known dogs who are not service dogs into the store with owners.

I'm so tired of this store willingly and knowingly allowing people to bring their non-service dog pets into the store when they shop. It is illegal and nasty. I have witnessed customers telling employees that their dogs are not service dogs and the employees tell them they don't care if they bring them into the store. It is a health code violation by law. Some people are allergic to dogs and the problem is out of control with the amount of pets coming into the store on a regular basis. It is causing ill feelings among customers towards this store and employees and pet owners. It makes real service dogs have less respect and acceptance when there is so many pets being allowed into this store. I stopped shopping at Dollar Tree as it is a nasty place were people have no respect for others or integrity.

Dollar Tree giving the correct change

Why is it that when I go into dollar tree (and by the way I love shopping there) the cashier always asks if I need a bag and if I have change? I have 10 items and they want to know if I am going to carry them out without a bag? I love getting coins back in change. They round up so they dont have to give coins in change. Why is that? That makes their register short! Anyway, I want my coins (pennies especially) and I expect to get the correct change in the future. Thank you.

Most places try to be sparing on using bags to cut expenses and maybe the store was running out of change and didn't wanna short you.

Dollar Tree employment

In the year 2018 I submitted two applications along with a most recent updated resume to the hiring managers jessica and chester. My application and resumes were ignored. I was told I would get a call from chester when he was to do the interviews. Chester told me this. He never called me. Jessica also told me when I submitted another application and resume months later that she will look over my resume and give me a call when they are hiring again. She also never called me. While waiting to be called from both hiring managers I did a walk in and was told by both managers they were not hiring. During this period a big white transvestite looking woman and young latina hispanic women were hired, but not my black african american [censored]. It's not right. The managers should not only be frired, but sued. I have been showed my life does not matter to people and I am a person with nothing.

Dollar Tree customer service

I usually enjoy being at dollar tree, especially because I'm a mom and teacher, however today was disheartening for me. My 8 year old daughter had to go to the restroom and the cashier was being lazy and didn't want to walk to the back of the store to open them. I asked her what the problem was she claimed that they "were out of service". This was not the case since others had been in them and no signs were posted. I asked well then what do I do about my daughter? She smirked and sort of laughed and said"I don't know" and walked away from me. I left my shopping cart full of items and let her know I was calling corporate. The way she carried herself and handled the situation was less than professional.

I would like to add one more thing. My daughter unfortunately had an accident. Since I was so angry at her I told her that she was stupid. I started slapping her several times. Someone saw me and reported me to CPS. They took down my license plate number. Now I fear that because I harmed my daughter that I could lose my teaching job. My daughter is currently in their care and I am sad.

Dollar Tree the make-up section

I went in to buy a bottle of nail polish and what I saw was shocking! Customers have opened the polish and tested it on everything, it is disgusting, the floor is covered in it too, I took a photo and will attach, I did call up and talk to the "main manager" and she was not helpful at all, I said "why cant you get the polish in sealed pkg and hang up so people dont open them, and she replied"sorry, we cant do anything about it, that is what they send us"and said"yes I know what it looks like, we cant help what people do"and then I told her"did you know there is a gang sign painted on the left of the shelves"? And she said"no, didnt know, maybe we can have someone see if they can cover that up, bye" and that was it, I know it is the dollar tree and not macy's but I do like to go there, but not with that manager not being concerned and the mess I might rethink my shopping there.

Dollar Tree customer service/dollar tree/fresno. ca. manchester location 1924

This is the worse experience a paying customer could have at this location. My husband went into this store just looking for Hot Wheels he looked around for about 30 mins. he said he recently got a fit bit and wanted to get some walking done. he found nothing to buy and was walking out of the store when the store manager approached him and asked him if he was going to pay for that? he said he asked her pay for what? she continued to questions him and embarrass him in the store. my husband has lost his wallet several times and decided he would have a man purse well its a star wars bag with his personal information and wallet in this bag, he opened the bag to show her there was a wallet his tablet and papers in this bag when she realized he stole NOTHING! She didn't even apologize to him she continued to get into his face and ask him then to leave when he asked for a Manager she said she was the Manager! (Angela) she continued to ask him to leave or she would call security and he said please call security! I want them to come because of the way she was acting towards him. he asked the other employees that work in the store her name and the number and everyone in this store ignored and was not given the corporate number nor her name. He said she was sooo rude and insisted he stole something after looking in his personal bag and of course there was Nothing in there as she asked him to leave she also went as low as calling him an IDIOT! My husband is not a idiot nor a thief .. he is a hard working man that didn't deserved to be treated in this fashion. So, I called another Ghetto Tree and got her name and the corporate number. I tried calling several times and no response. now I'm seeking legal services. cause no matter what the customer is always right! And just a word of advice Dollar Tree I looked up the rating reviews for this store and it was a 1 star! with employees like this your store will suffer and hopefully soon will close because we don't need stores and Managers and workers like this.

Dollar Tree inappropriate behavior

I was in the Dollar tree in Keyser yesterday when I happen to witness a cashier named Adrianna being very flirty and inappropriately touching the store manager Jason. This is not the first time I have noticed this. I have been in the store on at least 3 other occasions that I myself witnessed this type of behavior. I don't know what type of policies that your store has on stuff like this, but as an older woman I find it to be very inappropriate behavior and I am very offended by this type of behavior. A few minutes later when I proceeded to check out she came over and was extremely rude and had an attitude. I would assume that you have policies against employee sexual harassment and that you deal with this situation. It looks very bad on your company to have seen this and I hope you deal with it accordingly

Dollar Tree management at 3rd and 138th ave. bronx, ny

I recently shopped at your new store on 138th st in the bronx, ny. I had the worst encounter with a manager there that is making think i need to hire a lawyer to solve this matter. While i was shopping, i ran out of room in my basket and put the items in my bag that i would be carrying them out in. I didn't hide the fact that i was putting them there and continued my shopping. As i was going to put laundry soap bottles in my basket a manager named cyrus came up to me and accused me of stealing. Now I am 53 years old and have never stolen anything in my life. I explained that i needed more roon in my basket for more purchases but he continued to be beligerent and took my items from me. He also took my basket so i had nothing to put my other purchases in. If i was walking out of the store i could see accusing me, but i was still shopping and never hid the fact that i put the items in my bag. It was wide open so anyone could see. I have anxiety issues and he made things so bad i had to stop shopping and leave the store. I will never shop there again and I will be contacting a lawyer on how to take care of this matter. He had no right to treat me like a common criminal and I am appalled at how he can get away with acting like that towards people. As I was walking out of the store I said I was going to contact his boss and he threatened to call the police on me. I don't know where you found this person but he's not getting away with treating me like that.

Dollar Tree charge for plastic bag

I was advised in Columbus, GA that dollar tree has implemented a .01 charge per bag. I was further advised that this charge will NOT be implemented to EBT customers. This is discrimination at its finest. Why is a non EBT customer treated any differently than an EBT customer. I need clarification on this immediately. It is unjust to ask one customer to bring a recycled bag or pay the fee but not ask another customer to do the same. I held on your customer service line this morning for more than 45 minutes. A rep came on and advised she would connect me. It immediately went to voice mail. I have not received a follow up call. I, and many others on social media are very disturbed about this double standard. I would appreciate an explanation.

Dollar Tree very nasty

I shop at this store often and since last year before Christmas it has started to go down hill. Things everywhere and you still have shipment coming in. The store is overstocked. It's a good thing to have enough but why order things you already have and have things falling on the floor or no space for it. There is so much stuff on floor you have to step over boxes and more. So today I went into the store at 4045 Elvis Presley, Memphis, TN 901.396.9520. First walking in the gentleman that was ringing up was on his phone watching a video. So while I was in the store he made a phone call on his cellphone. He proceeded to talk to a gentleman about a baby gender reveal because the gentleman he was on the phone with was having a boy. Yes, you are correct I know this and I wasn't even in the line yet to check out. So continue to check out while on the phone which is very rude. You have maybe 3 workers in the store him, a young lady with jeans and no uniform shirt on and someone working the truck. This store has went from bad to worse. This is very sad and if it was in other neighborhood it would be up to part. There is not enough workers and Management Sucks. I think that you should hire crews to go to your store to straighten and stock to help them get back on track. It seems as if they never will if they keep getting truck loads of things and haven't got to the things from the last truck. Maybe hire more people. Make sure that the store is staffed around holidays and give incentives to your employees. Employees will work if they are appreciated. Please help them get back on track.

Dollar Tree store closed?

I have called the Dollar Tree on Walker South Road in Walker, Louisiana several times over the last few days.
I always let the phone ring 20 times or more
I have called at least 10 times and have never had anybody bother to answer the phone
That's at least 200 times the phone is ringing.
Has this store closed?
I know the managers there could give a hoot but at least they could do is answer the phone.
Maybe they can't answer the store phone because they are busy talking/texting on their personal cell phone
If this store is still open a district manager should come and clean house.
I will pay more rather then deal with this group of rude, don't give a hoot, just give me a paycheck people

Called the store several times last few days and never get the phone answered. Called at least 19 times in last 3 days. Always let phone ring 20 times. No answer
Has store closed? This wouldn't be such a bad idea knowing the the people who work(?) there
They are there to receive a paycheck only. Rude, don't want to help and attitude shows they clearly don't want to be there
A district manager needs to come and spend ay least a week. Clean house and start over with all new employees. Not a single one worth keeping
But I know this complaint about Dollar Tree will be filed in the garbage can along with the rest of the complaints made by myself and thousands of others. Dollar Tree truly has big trash cans.

Dollar Tree cashier playing with customer’s pet dog for several minutes

I went in to grab a shower curtain this afternoon. Something that should have taken a couple minutes at best, instead it took almost 20 minutes. I was standing in line to check out almost the entire time I was inside the store. Only one cashier was open for the first 7 minutes I was waiting (I had somewhere to be and time was a factor for me). Finally a second cashier was called and a new lane opened. I stayed in my line though as I was towards the back. In front of me was an older gentleman on a mobility scooter with a small dog. He finally reached the front of the line and apparently he knew the cashier. Even though the cashier was well aware of the lines, and I had been waiting over 16 minutes at that point, the cashier walked from behind the counter and proceeded to greet and play with the dog. The cashier continued to show love and affection to the dog (dog's name is Abby, she's only 7 months old, and she's a future support animal, all information I acquired while the cashier played with this dog), until I said "ma'am, some of us have places to be." At which the people behind me agreed vocally. The cashier was then hostile and rude to me as it was finally my turn to checkout.
I don't feel asking her to do her job deserves such hostility, and if she wants to play with dogs, she shouldn't be doing it on my time.

What? Asking an employee to do her job makes her a bad person and you assume she doesn’t like dogs? I’m going to assume from your statement that you probably don’t have any friends and that you have only dogs to keep you company. You feed and give these dogs water and they will “like” you.
What a ridiculous assumption but no more so then your assumption that she shouldn’t have pets.
On second thought my assumption is probably true. You have to buy friends with a personality like yours. What a butter dried up old prune you are.
By yourself an escort. Maybe that will help your attitude
