Coricraft leather lounge couch

Very bad after sales as i have bought leather lounge couch and paid a lot of money for it as i have found few faults on the couch and send a complain to mall of the south branch where i had bought it from spoke to a lady by the name of olgar de pinno.shes telling me the leather of the couch is like that but to me its a factory fault.please can you contact m asap else im goin to hand this problem over to my attorneys.its been now 2 weeks now and still no info from coricraft . my contact num is [protected]

Coricraft poor service and product

2 months ago I bought 2 couches from coricraft - the first couch after six weeks the inner casing of the pillows tore after the first time removing the covers to wash! Went back to Atterbury and was told to wait another 6 weeks and they will replace the 2 pillows. Well well to my utter disgust after 6 weeks I am called to collect and my surprise was to pillow inner covers no stuffing?! so what must i do with the covers - stuff the pillows myself? The manager was no were to be found and the person at the tills had no idea what to do? this was a week ago - no response from Coricraft Atterbury - still have two defected pillows!

Then couch number 2...well after six weeks of having the couch the pillows where so poorly stuffed that i took them back to the Atterbury store. I was told I had to take it to Silverton to be re-stuffed?! Wow what client service - aren't they supposed to fix the defect pillows?

Coricraft will advertise the best quality and service and this is what happens?

Coricraft mattress

We bought a memory foam mattress with a 12 year warranty in Feb 2016 delivered April 2016 .
After 1 year it sagged so we lodged it with coricraft canal walk . The mattress got collected and was going to be fixed not replaced. The following day I lodged a complaint again as the mattress was now rock hard. They replaced with high density foam instead of memory foam so collected again and fixed again. Still rock hard we then get told it is now latex? WE BOUGHT MEMORY FOAM NOT LATEX!
After lodging our complaint again we were told that there was nothing corivraft could do and we had to take it up.with Contour beds .
Maybe Coricraft people are forgetting an very important is issiue here WE DID NOT BUY FROM CONTOUR BEDS BUT FROM CORICRAFT.
Please advise urgently what will be done about this matter before we take this any further.
We paid R 7500 for a Chrystal memory foam mattress and we have no product satisfaction after only 1 year?
Were is yourgent 12 year warranty now?

Coricraft the product is a three seater couch

I recently spend R53 000 at the Klerksdorp store.
The 3 seater in my set has been sent back and replaced 4 times and still I have a failty 3 seater. Today was the fourth time the 3 seater was replaced. When the delivery truck arrived the hook that assembles the 3 seater was bent shut. With a spanner they tried to open the hook but was unsuccessful.
I am disgusted that my dream 3 seater has been replaced 4 times and still I have faulty chairs.

This to me is unthinkable as I see coricraft a a high end lable.
I am happy to spend the money but then service and quality must follow.

Coricraft couches collapsed 2 times. no return after 2 months

We bought 2 leather couches at the Nelspruit Branch.First couch's springs collapsed.The second couch springs collapsed. Coricraft came and collect couch on the 17th of Feb 2017. Numerous calls, numerous emails to Branch and Head office, not one answer or explanation.I am requesting a credit return. Couches not even 1 year old. They refuse. They say they have their money, and would love to see us in court. Still waiting for our Couch, bought with cash R20k, and the ware house manager informed telephonically that he does not know where our couch is. After 2 months of fighting and a house full of guests with no seating, Coricraft head office informs me this morning that there has been a confusion and they don't know where the couch is. The warehouse manager arranged for a loan couch worth R5k which you will not give your child staying in a dormitory, today which I will be putting on the side walk tonight.

Coricraft delivery

I must say I am very dissatisfied with the products of coricraft upon delivery. This is the 2nd time I bought something from coricraft and it arrived damaged. 1st it was the Hudson dining table in 2015 that arrived with a stretch. I complained about this and all that was done was painting/vanishing over the stretch. The table also stretches/chips easy. For the amount we paid for the table I must say the quality does match. In December 2016 we bought a opium coffee table it roo arrive's with a stretch. We reported this and werelated told to send pictures which we did but no one has gotten back to us.

Coricraft customer service

This is a complaint about the Coricraft branch in Windhoek:

I had asked friends and family to give me gift vouchers from Coricraft for my birthday in July because I wanted to buy a new couch. At that time they didn't have gift vouchers, so they opened an account on my name. When the next person came to buy a gift voucher they opened a second account on my name!

In September I went to the shop to order the couch, but they told me they could use only one account for the sales order. So the money had to be transferred from the second account to the first which was a big problem! I went to the shop every day for a whole week (!) to check if they had transferred the money, and finally they told me they had sorted the problem. They ordered the couch on one of the accounts, and I had to pay the remaining amount there and then.

Two months later I was getting a bit worried because I didn't hear from Coricraft, so I went to the shop to check when I would receive my couch. I was informed that it was in the warehouse for a while already, but they couldn't deliver it because it was not paid!

Now it turns out they were lying to me when I ordered it, and nothing was done! If I understood correctly the money that was supposed to be transferred from the second account has disappeared! This week I went to the shop twice already, and I spend my time writing emails to Coricraft. As if I don't have anything else to do... Nothing has happened so far. They keep mailing me promises that they are "looking into the matter".

I am very unhappy with the service that I received from Coricraft so far, and I want to share my experience with other possible clients. I suggest you think twice before you buy from Coricraft.

Coricraft bad quality and service

We bought a full leather lounge suit from Coricract Hemingways Mall in East London. It was already damaged on the day of delivery and the cushions needed corifill. The driver in charge of delivery took photos of the damage. So did we and reported it the same day. A month later we realized the scotchguard is not up to standard. We reported it.
Finally, over a year later. it was collected on a rusted open trailer with the promise of being repaired, cleaned, scotch guarded and corifilled.
We received it back and what a mess! It has been stuffed completely and is so badly repaired it is shocking! All the stitching has been done by hand and what a bad job! I have been in tears over this! Some cushions have been over-stuffed and others not at all. It is unusable and an absolute embarrassment when having people over. I feel sick just looking at it. Now they want to collect it again and have it inspected in CP which will apparently take another 8 weeks! I do not trust you guys and I want my money back!

Coricraft order not processed whilst all monies have been received

on 25/09/2016 I purchased a two-seater couch from the infamous Coricraft for R5850.00 including delivery and handling, I later cancelled the order during the same week and ordered a Fjord TV unit, had to pay R1500.00 extra, as of today 17/10/2016 the R5850.00 has not been credited back/refunded. I ahve wasted hundreds of Rands calling the store, head office and everyone, worst part is that no one in the store can even own the issue or at least follow up on the issue not even their manager. This is at Coricraft Mall of Africa.

I just want my money back, I will even pull statements for costs incurred for this issue as this is utter nonsense.

Coricraft coricraft ignores complaints, does not honour guarantee

Coricraft have simply ignored my phone calls and emails regarding a damaged leather couch that was delivered to my home.

This is after I was charged R1500 extra for the same leather as the display unit, however the display unit was advertised as less (false advertising) and then had more bad service, including a staff member shout at me as if I was a little child when I went in to the store to pay the balance on my purchase and Coricraft could not find a record of my purchase on their system.

So from the sale, to the final payment, delivery and after sales service. I have received bad service every step of the way. None of this aligns with the "quality" and ease of purchase your website talks about.

Coricraft Avoid buying from coricraft at all costs!

To all potential buyers of Coricraft furniture it may be worthwhile to read about our horrific experience buying from Coricraft and the pathetic after sales service received.
Buying furniture from Coricraft one definitely has an idea of excellence, good quality products as well as after sales support…. NONE which was given by Coricraft!
We have bought 2 couches, plasma unit, sideboard, display unit, dining table and bench.
The couches had to be returned 3 times due to poor workmanship and leather quality. All the frames became squeaky in a matter of a few days, the leather had non natural marks and cuts on and on places where they have removed studs they just left the leather as is with little holes.
The bench had to be replaced twice as the first one was not level and the second one had a bump on the one corner. The display unit had to be returned twice due to a bump on the drawer caused by their delivery team and then a door which did not close properly.
For the third delivery I specifically requested that all products are thoroughly checked before it’s even loaded for delivery. It was confirmed that they have personally checked it yet it got here in a poor condition – telling me their standards are definitely not that of a customers.
When they returned to my house to replace furniture my front door and gate was butchered by their delivery team and we’ve had to put in a claim with them to get the door replaced and the gate fixed. We struggled weeks to get payment and feedback from them. At one point they also stopped answering my emails. At the second pick up one of the delivery guys broke one of my picture frames which he apparently didn’t see. I then commented on an ad they had on FB where they publically said they will get the situation with the payment and the poor furniture sorted.
All of this could still have been acceptable to some level if a professional approach was taken by their management but this was unfortunately also not the case. I insisted on talking to top management and got hold of the Head of the after sales department in Johannesburg. This man was shocked to hear all that has gone wrong and promised to sort this out – just delegating to someone in Cape Town who then also didn’t bother to get back to me and again I had to revert to him as he didn’t follow up nor returned any of my messages.
Coricraft agreed to take back all their furniture and only refund me after a pickup was made. None of this was due to any fault of our own yet we are now without furniture for 4 weeks as we had to order from a new supplier. They also offered a R4000 voucher as compensation for inconvenience caused but now say this is unfortunately no longer available as I have taken my order to another supplier.
After talking to various friends and family I have come to know that I wasn’t the only person who had this type of negative experience with Coricraft and many of them said they will NEVER buy from Coricraft again. One even had to return his table to get fumigated as it was invested with some type of bug. Talking to the delivery guys they admitted this happened a few times before where furniture had to be taken back to get fumigated.
So unless you think you want to take a chance on poor products, poor after service and a store going back on their word – rather opt for a different store where they value the customer and strive to deliver excellent products and service. It is after all your hard earned money you are spending!

Coricraft Clearwater mall

I am totally disappointed in the horrible service that I have been getting from Coricraft Clearwater Mall. I ordered couches on the 29th February 2016. Not only did I have to deal with a bad attitude from the lady in the store who clearly had no interest in helping us. The invoice I received had two different couches on them and after struggling to change the order they finally got it wright. I was told that I would need to wait 4 to 6 weeks for my couches. I started following up on my order during week 5 to make sure that everything was on track. I then confirmed my order and realized that it was never corrected on the system. Needless to say that that stage I was extremely annoyed. Week 6 came and went and I phoned to follow up on my order. After speaking to the manager and order controller I made it very clear that I was unhappy with the service. I was then told that I had to wait another 2 weeks and that the couches will be completed on the 20th April. Well today is the 22nd, and after not hearing anything from Coricraft I decided to follow up only to find out that the completion date for my order has been moved to the 29th April. NO ONE from Coricraft has phoned me to tell me that there is yet another delay with my order. I find it extremely unacceptable that I pay so much for couches and get such horrible service, clearly, in this case I am not getting what I paid for! How can you promise paying customers that their order will be done in 6 weeks and then fail to communicate all the delays that are being experienced. Without customers your company will fall! I will NEVER do business with Coricraft again and I will be sure not to recommend Coricraft to anyone I know. Its best you guys start focusing on hiring people who actually take their job serious and who knows how to deal with customers.

Good morning - I bought two silver lamp stands with matching shades in Clear Water Mall store about 3 mths ago. We only discovered last week that the reason why the one shade was lob-sided was because one of the legs of the frame inside was bent which is the reason. I was shocked - my son discovered this when he tried to see what the problem was. It is very disappointing as I paid approx R5 000 for them. Your staff will recall that as I have a daily limit on my cards I was not able to purchase for entire amount so paid half and then had to return the next day to pay the balance after asking them to keep them for me. I love your store and find this totally unacceptable. Also, the actual shade must have been knocked or pushed against other items as parts of the inner plastice are also dented. It feels as if I have bought second-hand goods. I would never normally spend so much on lamps/shades so that is why find it even more upsetting. Celeste (Cell: [protected])

Coricraft product not received after 4 months of purchase

As newly weds, my son bought a bed and head piece in Bloemfontein early Dec, paid in full, with a promised delivery date the end of Feb (factory closed etc). Contrary to instructions on the invoice, the bed was sent to Bloemfontein instead of Stellenbosch as indicated. After numerous calls and empty promises even from head office, the product has not yet been received.

Coricraft bad customer service and product

I ordered a set of bookshelves from "The Palms" Coricraft Cape Town. I was told the company does not delivery until the full amount for the shelves has been paid. I duly paid this in good faith. Considering the cost of the shelves I thought the product I would receive would be of similar standard. Sadly within 15 minutes after delivery when dusting the shelves I notice that the product was of less quality than that which I saw to purchase and phoned the supplier. They said they would collect them the next day. No collection. I was then told the following week. No collection. I was then told the warehouse has "NO stock" Hard to believe. The Palms then said they would send the bookshelf off their floor to the warehouse to check and deliver to us. This set of shelves was instead sent to a new customer in Namibia. I still to date almost 6 weeks after delivery have no satisfaction. Do not under any circumstances fall for the 'pay 100% before delivery.' ploy The product I have is not worth the full payment and the after service from Coricraft is non-existent. Very disappointed.

Coricraft product not performing as indicated

My wife and I purchased a Chobe Corner unit in the exotic Zambezi Brown specification delivered at the end of 2008. Since this time the cushions have been back to Coricraft numerous times for stitching issues, which are covered by guarantee and service here has been adequate. However, our primary issue is that the couch has completely lost all appearance of being an exotic zambezi brown specification that we originally purchased. We can understand that there may be some variation between what is on the showroom floor and what you finally receive due to leather characteristics, but the couch we have looks no different to the standard leather specification for the chobe couch. Having this effect means we paid R2, 000 more for a specification that we are not enjoying. We have indicated this to Coricraft Fourways numerous times and each time they have promised to send an assessor to examine the couch. We have seen nothing of any assessor coming through to fulfil on this. We do feel done in that we are not getting the visual effect we were looking for and Coricraft is not looking to assess and explain what has gone wrong between our expectations and the resultant couch.

Coricraft I will never ever use coricraft again

I just wanted to write a report on my total dissatisfaction towards the services & products of Coricraft furniture group. I ordered a couch from Coricraft Boksburg & initially the 8 week wait for my couch didn't seem an issue as I assumed I would receive a quality product. Instead I received a brand new couch that was damaged during transportation and torn. In addition while fitting the couch the delivery guys very kindly dragged it across my brand new tiles leaving brown marks I can't even scrub off.

So on delivery I made a note of the damage on the delivery note & I then had to phone Coricraft on 3 separate occasions to try get an assessor to come look at the damage. After a week and a half the assessor did come and agreed that the product was indeed damaged & informed me to wait for the guys to come collect the couch again, meaning i'm required to leave work early again for the collection and second delivery. My main dissatisfaction however is that more than 2 weeks after receiving the damaged couch (and 10 weeks since I ordered it) & I still dont have any feedback regarding when this will be fixed.

One thing is for sure, I will NEVER ever use Coricraft again!

Bunch of crooks! Not sure if it is Coricraft or RCS to blame but I was told that I was offered 6 months interest free so too advantage of their supposed deal. I provided all of my account details for the monthly debit order. My latest statement arrives and it shows that I have attracted over R500 interest for just that month alone?! Days and endless emails of trying to get a straight answer and then I am told that my debit order didn't go through and so the 6 month interest free agreement is immediately cancelled and the loan amount attracts interest at 24%! Asked why it didn't go through and I was told that it was because I didn't have sufficient funds... so I produce proof that on the debit due date there was over R100 000 available in the account. Surprise surprise I still haven't heard back and my emails are not being responded to. And why did nobody contact me to inform me of any issues?! Funniest part: Most of the furniture only well after a month of ordering it... maybe I should charge them interest for that month then. STEER CLEAR OF CORICRAFT AND RCS!

I bought a bed in May 2015 from Coricraft Sandton and broke twice since then. Shoddy construction and bad quality. I tried numerous times to solve the issue with Coricraft Santon, but kept on being ignored. I eventually went in person to confront them and they delivered a new bed which broke within a couple of weeks. Out of desperation i moved my complaints to the Kramerville office as they seemed more professional. After they suggested that they construct extra support beams, they eventually arrived three hours late today with the wrong kit and i sent them packing. One thing is for sure, i will never use Coricraft again.

Miss leading 6 months free interests at Cresta Coricraft store. I bought a dining room set and asked for the 6 months free interests which is written all over their store. Paid it in exactly 6 months. To my surprise they added interests. This whole issue has been going on and no one can help to resolve it. They asked for ID copy the second time. MY ADVISE TO EVERYONE BECAREFUL, THEY ARE CROOKS. As for me and my family and friends will never buy anything from them ever and I'm not paying any interests.
I'm prepare to expose them further...I'm on a mission.
