unauthorized debit of my bank account!
First off when I signed up. I had received 2 debits for 49.95. from my bank account. When I called they said that this was for my other user name. I was appalled and said when did I give you the authorization for this? They did not know what to say. Just that they were going to put the money back into my account in 3-5 business days. I said I want the money in there NOW! You did not have the problem deducting the money not once but twice. I want to see it by the end of the day. This was done. Then about a month ago my renewal was up. I received notices via e-mail that they attempted to deduct the 49.95 from my bank account and it would not go through. This bank account was canceled. It was funny that I could no longer find a number to call them. I sent an e-mail stating how upset I was. Still to this day a response has not been heard.

I paid for a year's subscription & can't get it activated the code they gave me won't work & when you try to get help from them, well THAT"S A JOKE. I have asked for my money back & I know that isn't going to happen, I am a very UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. This has been going on for 3 mos or so I have some ph.#'s etc. You all can try & maybe have better luck than me.
File on-line a complaint witht the Better Business Bureau and the California attorney General's Office. Your credit card company can do something too.

I also am a paying member. But pogo challenges- weekly and many of the daily will not load. I am not going to pay to play 2 or 3 games. What is going on?
I too am a paying customer. I just renewed my subscription in Jan. then all this stuff started and i can't play half the games I want. If this is not fixed by the time my renewal comes up I will not be renewing and I will not recommend anyone else do either. I have family that recommended to ths site and now they are having trouble also. This all started when you change the way the daily challenges are entered. You need to check your system and put it back the way it was. You are going to lose a lot of money in the months to come.

I have been a club pogo member now for 5 years and last week I went into Spooky Slots to play. Well, I hit Jackpot! Then I was taken to another screen, which was completely blank, and the JP is still going. My game also froze. I went to winnings and to no avail not showing. I emailed pogo support about this issue, but their response was yes they have had problems with this game and prizes being issued, but will not do anything about my jp winnings. All they say is they will investigate it. I had the whole room jumping for joy for me when I won. I about fainted when this happened only to be let down, big time! Pogo is fake and a scam! They do not payout like they claim and I think this is false advertising. The jp is still up there. I think they get people to pay them to acknowledge that they have won a jp so that is good advertising for them. It makes me sick! I think anyone who has had a jp complaint against them should look into a possible class action lawsuit against them. They have the most stupid tech people working for them who do not know a damn thing! Their fees just keep getting higher and higher every year, and that is not fair to poor people like myself. club pogo took out fee again for my account i would like for your to put it back into my account
I play Spades against the computer and not the people players. The game has a JACKPOT to win right now. When I play, I beat the computer programed computer icons playing against me. Most times when I win, I get paid tokens but it has happened at least 20 times in the past three moths that my game freezes right when I win and I can't continue no matter how long I leave the page open hoping it will finally show my win. I have left it for hours and checked every other webpage on my computer. Everything else I check works perfectly, including Pogo home page and including closing the frozen game. It is obvious to me that I am deliberately being stopped when my win of the JACKPOT comes up. Like I said, I win hundreds of games and almost never loose against the computer icons so by now I am certain one of those hundreds of wins would have been a winning Jackpot. This is not a very popularly played game so therE is not an enormous number of players competing. At first I just thought my computer was acting up, but I play every other game site and browse many many other websites. Everything else works perfectly. It is only Pogos Spades game that freezes me out of the win and if I close the page and go back in there is no problem with anything until suddenly after playing for a long time I can't get the winning prize when I win. I am very disgusted with POGO and plan to not renew my membership when this year is up. I would gladly join in a class action suit against them.

For all of those complaints about jackpots then you should all read a few of the players comments on POGO. Alot of people have started tracking the winning names and over half of them are coming up as temporary member. Which according to POGO they are not supposed to be able to win the doubled jackpots. Playing games and get booted off. A player told me she was an intern and to hold on, then I was booted from the game on more than one occasion. I've been playing Spades on club pogo for almost 3 years now and notice fixed games by club pogo workers.

All and all the game is cool, like the graphics and the expansions on Hogwarts, but there is a lot of problems. For one thing that drove me nuts was in the game when you have a task to do, Harry Ron and Hermione never shut up. They keep repeating them selves over and over and over about what you’re suppose to do. It’s not like every 5 minutes or so, it’s honestly every 5 seconds. Did the programmers do this to annoy every one really, do they constantly need to repeat themselves. I’ve played all of the other games and they were great. In all the other games when you didn’t know what to do, you looked in your remembrall and the tasks are listed, that’s good enough for everyone. This one was extremely annoying. Half the time I kept the game on mute. Now in all of the games, you’re supposed to explore and find chests that obtain wizard cards. But in this game if you try to explore, Harry Ron and Hermione again keep repeating themselves on what to do, even when you are all done with the tasks for the day and just want to explore before ending the day, they keep saying I’m tired, or there’s nothing else to do lets go to bed over and over and over. Again Not like every 5 minutes but every 5 seconds.
Another huge issue is that after finishing your tasks a message pops up (if you wish to stop exploring and move on press select and then activate the end day option in the task list.). Over and over and over. I can barely see what’s in front of me, because it takes one third of the screen. It honestly pops up 4 times every minute I counted. Do I constantly need to be reminded through the whole game really? In the other games a remeberall shows up in the corner, to tell you to end the day. This game also has that so why do you have that message pop up every 15 seconds it’s annoying.
There were a lot of glitches to. A lot of bad programming I want to say. I had 10 Wiggenweld potions(increases your stamina) in the beginning of the game that I bought from Fred and George’s shop. After attending to potion class the next morning I had to pick up two Wiggenweld potions from Snape and give it to Harry, when I did that in my inventory said I only had two potions when before I had ten. The programmers couldn’t just add two, but now it deletes them and says only two. This one is just the beginning of the problems. I worked hard going back and fourth collecting beans to buy them.
Another problem is when you buy a bigger bag for the Dungbombs every book shelf you search normally had beans are replaced with Dungbombs. Even when your bag is full of 25 and can’t have any more they keep showing up. Not a couple of times, but basically more then half the shelves have Dungbombs now. Couldn’t the programmers make it so that when you are all full they stop appearing like it did before in the beginning when you could only have 5 of them, but no once you bought that bag they never stop showing up, making it even more difficult to get beans. In the other Harry potter games you can hit stuff to get beans like 4 or 5 of them. In this game you get one when you hit stuff. How can I buy stuff when they hardly show up.
Now, with my biggest complaint. I just finished receiving the Patronus spell. When I go to Fred and George shop to buy something you have to ask about the info before buying, and now when I ask the info, they don’t normally say what they used to say, on how much it costs it says nothing and nothing happens. I can’t even buy anything any more because there is bad programming. Also now in the store Fred and George ask you to find 9 statues with Hermione and 20 of these things that Ron needs to find and throw stink pellets in. I finally got the last three statues and when I’m suppose to get my third upgrade for Hermione from Fred and George I click the button that’s supposed to activate it to be mine, it Doesn’t work, cause again nothing works when I click the button your suppose to, to get the product. Now with my biggest disappointment I finally threw that last stink pellet in the thing that Ron needs to find. And again in the same shop when I’m am Ron ready to get my last wizard card for completing the task, its goes to a cinema screen mode as if it was going to be given to me and it freezes. Is it to much for the game to handle when you finished both quest at the same time. I cant even go in the shop and switch my characters around I need to step out side the door pick my character and then enter, where before you could switch back and fourth with the characters with no problem.
Its not like I have a bad disk or anything, the game is like that. Even the side quest on finding lost items and bring it back to the bulletin board, I can’t do more then one in one day. Even when there’s a list bigger then the amount of days in the game.
It honestly seems to me this product wasn’t finished on the cut off date and was sent out with all the problems and with that repeating stuff, I feel like someone made it like that to annoy every one. I can’t understand why a game that’s really cool and good graphics and great story line and well put together in the big picture, have so many issues and bad programming. The game has annoyed me to the point that I have to complain about it just to vent out. I never complain about anything but these problems irritated me so much I don’t want to even finish the game even though I played the other 4 in a row. Hopefully EA will take this seriously and tell someone that’s important or something to let them know that there is a lot of problems to fix it, before they make new ones, cause I heard a box set of the first three games of Harry potter are coming out, so if you don’t want your game to be irritating, and annoying I would think about these complaints.

I complain about a different game. nfsmw. There is so much effort put in the game like graphics and sound effects then everything is messed up with some of the most unrealistic trash.
If they want to increase the level of difficulty, then there are many posibilities they can use, but the crap they put in is absolutely cheating.
This was the last game that I've purchased. I found that some of the other games have the same problem. I rather support other game makers.

This game, NHL2017, is a complete rip off. EASports' website advertises all these large changes in store for this year's version, however they don't mention that the changes are only in console versions of the game. The PC version remains almost the exact same as NHL2017 with (slightly) updated rosters. Being swayed by hype of 'revolutionary' new gaming concepts that make NHL2017 "the most realistic hockey experience ever" (IGN) I purchased the game, took it home, and installed it. I played a few games and found that the graphics, sound, and rosters were exactly the same as last year (rosters as per latest downloadable patch). A friend purchased the same game for PS3 and invited me over to play it with him. Playing the PS3 version I found that the screens, graphics, controls, rosters, dynasty mode, create-a-player, game modes, and even the jerseys worn by the teams (updated for the NHL's new-look jerseys) were different from the PC version I had just purchased that same day. I have spent some of today looking around EA's website for an email to complain to, but to no avail... there is NO contact information unless I am a member of the press. I looked on their downloads page to see if there was any downloadable content to "de-crap-ify" my version, but the latest download for an NHL game was for NHL 2017... I then played a couple more games to see if I was just being sensitive and the same AI flaws (this same tough new AI advertised on the website) as NHL07 were hugely apparent. Don't buy this for PC, under any circumstances...
Account Hacked and they have non resolved and it been over 6 months!
The total amount of money spent this past Christmas on Microsoft points to redeem for EA sports FIFA 12 coins was $450.00. My sons FIFA account was hacked in Dec 2017 and all his coins and players/team(s) stolen. I contacted your EA sports help line. After approximately 1 mo. of investigation they replaced the hacked coins in his account/gamer tag. Within a day, the account was hacked again! I called again, explained what have had happened. They confirmed that the company was having security issues. EA rep provided me instructions on how to create a new gamer tag. I was told to call back once I completed so coins replaced in the NEW.
We recd email approx 3 wks ltr that the coins were replaced. But going into his new gamer tag, there were no coins. I called again and explained and it seems that the coins were placed on the wrong gamer tag account. The coins were placed in the old gamer tag – the one that kept getting hacked. Several more weeks passed, and my son received an email saying that they conducted a review and no coins were hacked from the NEW gamer tag. They are correct. No coins have even been hacked in the new gamer tag. The old gamer tag was hacked and per EA’s recommended approach, a new one created and the coin were to be replaced in the NEW one to avoid the hacking issue that occurred twice on the same gamer tag.
I called again on 4/16 and they agreed they made a mistake and would resolve. I have placed calls on the following dates to get status and still no resolution – 4/18, 4/19, 4/27, 5/2, 5/8, 5/16, 5/18, 6/11. I send emails to top executives in ea 3 times and no response.
I finally open case with Better Business Bureau and Ea finally contacted me for resolution. They have replaced half the coins and one month later they still have not replaced the rest. The are now just offering a free video game for compensation for the remaining. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND CLEARLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE SPENDING MONEY ON THEIR GAMES!
They do not deserve our business!

What it comes down to is EA has decided to deceive their loyal customers. I've been buying the NHL games from EA since 98. Thankfully I didn't buy 07. I now have it as it's been renamed to 08. I've supported this company when they were making games for the Amiga! They've made thousands off me through all their games. I won't be so quick to support them from now on. It must be nice to be so big you can !@%$!@% on the people who put you there.

spades won't let me in to play!
I go into spades and it does everything it suppose to do, but it wont go into spades for me to play. It just stays there it say java, but then it just stays there . That's no cool cause i paid $5.99 a month and for this to happen that's not right. pogo can you please resolve my problem. now the e-mail i usually use is [protected]@aol.com. e-mail me there telling how can i go into spades and play cause I've been playing spades on pogo since 2005, and this is the first time this happen. I think your dealing programs in all your card games stink to high heavens. They are not realistic. In real life all the games I have played, ie. Pinochle, Texas Hold'em, Solitare, etc. never in all my life have I ever seen hands that are dealt like in your dealing programs. I think you should go back and re-program your dealing programs so they are more realistic. It's nice to win a card game, but not when the dealing is so slanted.2e735

I received my bank statement, & was charged $39.95 on June 25, 2007 from Pogo, which I never authorized. There was no number to contact them. I tried several times to send them an email to explain this charge, but never received an answer. (POGO/WWW.EA.COM CA).

I have been charged 3 Years in a row for pogo services I have not used nor have I authorized the charges. The bank says the only thing I can do is close my account and start over and get a new card. I have emailed pogo several times requesting that I be taken off that list that I do not even play anymore and dont have the internet. Is there anything else I can do?

On June 12, 2007 I won a Jackpot for $3,611.12 and they won't pay. I have never used any automated device to play any games. I wouldn't know where to find one or how to use it. I don't cheat! According to Pogo they don't have to payout the winnings because I used this type of software or device. That is low, I have been a member for years and have never cheated on any game. Please read attached response I received when I asked what happened to my Jackpot...

In many of those cases the person sharing someone else's account is the one that used the automated device, with or without the knowledge of the primary user. Such an occurrence could have been at any time in any game and is unrelated to the game and time in which the prize was won.
In any scenario, we do hold the account owner responsible for the actions taken on an account. You are welcome to create a new account, and as long as that account does not ever use an automatic device, it should be eligible for prizes in the future. Pogo isnt worth the money anymore, they dont want us to get in contact with them. On my jackpot spin it said I won but wouldnt tell me what I won, when I get a dam wall paper it says that I won it. There support sucks as A woman I start with in pogo is crazy, she yells and cusses I get the warnings from them towel head mother ###ers in india. who want to close my account, but they did it once before and I fought them with the bbb and got my money back and opened my account again and didnt lose my tokens, Well if I get kicked out pogo better believe I will file another complaint. They protect her as she buys lots of gems and I just pay for clue pogo. That has what there sorry ### have come to as there only interested in making money selling downloaded games or gems. Why is it that pogo.com won't accept complaints? I pay good money to play their games and their games won't play? I enter into the game and i get screens over screens; slow play; get booted; i pay $35 a year to play their games and i can't get to play? Why should i pay to play games i can't play? More importantly, why can't i contact them? There is no icon to contact them. their "winners" never respond when you contact them as to they won? Are the winners pogo employees? I've played with them for years and have yet to get a "winner" to talk to me even when I'm in the "same room". Is pogo a scam?

It happened to me.
I complained about their civil rights violations too many times; they considered it "spam" and shut off my accpunt email (at several POP3 accounts, I might add).
Then when I had trouble with the scoring in my games of scrabble for more than two weeks, I could not complain because my email had been cut off and silenced.
They shoot the messenger for the message.
I canceled my paying pogo.com account, AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF THE CANCELLATION---which I guess is something new from all the complaints I read about cancellation not being honored by pogo.com.
I would suggest all those adversely affected cancel their accounts; why pay the piper to keep skewering you all the time?

I won the jackpot, but they wont pay!
I won a jackpot which was doubled since i have been a member for 4-5 years now. Finally after doing all the links and giving them all the info needed the page said to wait 60 days well 60 days went bye and i emailed them which took at least 6 different times because all they had was some crazy automated email reply then then send me email saying i wont get the money that at some time during my member ship i have cheated, and that it may not have been me but maybe someone using my acct. thats a dang lie and they don't have to prove it they said. I like to play games on the site and never played for the jackpot. If they aren't gonna pay people when they win then don't have it.
I play Turbo 21 and often am given 1, 000 or so points less than I have won. The game scroll at the bottom of the game lists points before I am even done!
I have done the two weeks trial for pogo games and won most of the time on Monopoly game, due to not being able to afford to play these games as a member, you can't win maybe on game out of ten. Got to marking down how many times the robots landed on each others properties and on the properties that I had bought they landed on each other 38 times to me 11 times. Someone please tell me what wrong with this picture how can you get your points to move up when they cheat you out of getting these points just because your not a member. To me this is not right, people like to play these games but can't afford to buy. and you can't play but only a few without being a member we should be able to play the same amount of games as those that pay. Me I like playing the hidden game objects but they just let you play a few and want you to pay to play more of it. give us people a break that can't afford to pay a chance to play these games also.
One of their games caused my computer to crash and now two of their games are corrupted, with Internet Explorer preventing them from opening. There is virtually no way to connect with Pogo because they direct us all to 'forums'. What is the point if a company is hiding behind no contact? I would like to cancel my subscription, but again - how on earth can I do that if I'm blocked from being able to contact them? I find this disreputable and questionable for a company to not make themselves available to paying clients.

I have been a Pogo Club Member now for 4 years - just had my membership renewed in December. For two days now I have been unable to sign in, my desktop icon no longer will log in, I get messages that my password is incorrect and I do not receive replies as to what my password might be (I haven't changed it). Like so many other people who have written to other websites: I won a $5.00 prize on 01/31/2008. They sent me a confirmation email and I immediately filled it out anf returned it. On 02/15/08 I was sent a letter saying they had decided I had used a "cheat program" or "auto-run" program. I immediately responded as saying not true. They apparently think they can accuse you of any thing and get away with it. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with the California Attorney General's Office. I have asked for all information under the Federal Freedom of Information Act and Pogo has ignored that law.
This is a great scam and apparently it is legal. They refuse to suspend you because then they can be prosecuted by your credit card company. I intend to notify the FCC next... somebody must know of a way to stop this scam and libelous behavior of an incorporated company "acting in bad faith".

Hey everyone, I wanted to send you some information I found out today. I hope you will pass this to every pogo player you know, so pogo knows we are on to them. Today while playing in Mahjong, I noticed someone had won another jackpot and the winnings were doubled, meaning they were a member. Well my curiosity got the better of me, so I added this person to my friends list, and followed them into the room they were in.
When I got there, the room was in a buzz, Marilyn33C was not talking to anyone, and it showed this person as a watcher but when you sat at the table you could not see Marilyn33C. Hmmm, gets stranger.
Come to find out this person is not a member, but playing under a guest pass. Now how did they get the double jackpot, or did they get a jackpot at all. One of the other members who was mad, started checking out all the past winners from this week.
It's seems that NONE of them are members, but playing under guest passes. So who are these people, do they exist, or is Pogo just playing all of us as fools. I have since emailed pogo to let them know we are onto them. One of the other players in that room is notifying the FBI. This is serious folks, Pogo takes our membership money and I will admit I have more then received my portion of fun from the cost.
But the big picture is that they tell us we have a chance to win this big Jackpot, which many of us could really use, and then we find out it is all a big huge LIE. I am not sure where to go from here, but I wanted to let all my friends in pogo to know what was going on.

I am still having trouble signing in to the web site with my paid account, but am able to log in with my other account that is not paid. Now i see why. I am just quiting, not worth the aggrevation.
POGO players be warned: I've played games with people that set their own rules so they never loose a game; many people quit when they are losing so you end up playing the computer; a few told me they use to be members but the site automatically charges your credit card and they couldn't contact anyone at POGO to stop the payments so they had to call their bank; the computers occasionally kick you off while playing so you have to keep a record of where you are playing in order to get back in; and some players can be rude. Play but play with caution!
I recently won the five dollar gift in the jackpot, about two weeks ago. Today I got an email stating that my prize of five dollars was forfeited because I was "cheating". After that, I think they are full of it. I don't think they give out prizes to real winners, and when they do, they claim they are cheating. I have never used an auto, nor do I know what the heck they are. Not to mention I always chat in every room I'm in, and I am running on Windows ME. If anyone has Windows ME still they know there is NO software that is compatible with it anymore...Pogo is a hoax.

I am concerned. I have been playing in multiple common gaming rooms and not once have I found a winner. Many of the players are complaining that who ever wins doesn't seem to appear again. Call me crazy but I have won big jackpots at the casino and trust me once you win you don't go away. You come back to play some more. I have checked the profiles of people on line and have yet to find a jackpot winner. If Pogo is only to have fun I can accept that but it is wrong to tell people they can win a jackpot if one doesn't exist.
Pogo.com doesn't have a clue about Customer Service. Expect your questions to end up unanswered. I've been attempting to contact them for 9 months, regarding my previous screen names. I explained I'm trying to locate old pals, they knew me under my previous name which pogo will not let me change back to. Pogo refuses to respond to emails, phoning their office is a lost cause. Years ago pogo would allow players to change their names (daily)...when ea.com got involved, without warning they changed that policy. They won't let us get back our old names, nor will they address customer issues.
The spiel means nothing. So what if this person is in a room and is a watcher and does not chat. I rarely see an uproar over any Joe Schmoe not talking, or watching at a table; let alone a jackpot winner! Frivolous complaint right there. I see you say nothing about non jackpot winners, so it's okay for everyone else and not jackpot winners?

This is a response to JOe Halsey:: Sorry you feel this way about leagues coming into what you are calling your room. Don't know if you are aware even league members pay dues to play pogo. If the league is kind and well mannered, please allow them to play without complaint. Believe me as a league owner I would much rather have a members room to hold league games in, but it is very hard to find rooms where you can hold tourneys, that other leagues have not already claimed.
I have a problem I have an account with Pogo that is paid for and my sister in law and other of her family members who have pogo are sending me emails and sending viruses to my computer. I signed up for a "free trial" membership on POGO. They require my credit card info, just in case I decide to continue with the full membership. I cancelled before the "free trial" period ended (that was in November 06) and guess what?, they still have not refunded my money. I have emailed them SEVERAL TIMES and have not received even 1 response. They sure were quick to take my money though!
I am going after them through my bank & whatever other means are necessary!

We purchased SIMS games SIMS and SIMS Unleashed, both rated G8+. To our horror, my 8 year old daughter found a gambling casino to set up in her house. This is totally unacceptable as it can only encourage this behavior as they grow older.
We are more sensitive to this because of existing family members who are gambling addicts.
My daughter noticed these SIMS games advertised in another retail store with different ratings - this time not G8+ but rated PG.
So are the rating for the exact same games? My wife purchased these games in good faith based on the G rating.
What do YOU propose to do about this as we are reluctant to allow our daughter to continue playing SIMS games.

I dealt with customer support quite a while ago and they were supposed to fix the problem. I went in today and the problem ia still there. I have been a paying customer for a log time, but I am through.

Up until a few months ago I had no problem with Pogo. Then they started changing things. Now many of their games won't load, you get kicked out of some and quite often a mysterious bug jumps in and you receive no points or badge. This has been happening too often. I have a question that does not seem to have a place to go to, to get information. I made a payment via my cc and the payment was taken yet not applied to my account. Now it tells me my status will be interrupted if I do not renew. The money was taken from my card yet I am being booted out. WHY?
Don't try to complain about cheaters. I did and their answer was a reprint of an FAQ question on the previous page. They just don't give a damn. I went on Boggle Bash and there was the sound like a "coutdown timer" going off at a steady one-beep-per-second. I finally looked up up from the Boggle Board to see what was making the noise. With every beep, the message board flashed, "(player's game name) just found a seven-letter word." At the end of the game, that player had over 150 unique words. The other four players, including myself, had none. I looked at his profile and it said he'd played 54 matches so far and had found 21, 500 unique words. The average non-cheating player gets about 8 unique words a game - not 150! Pogo doesn't care. I guess all they want to do is collect their yearly dues from the players and then it's just every man for himself.

this is the worst site. in fact i have had to contact my credit card company. i tried to cancel my subscriptionwithin the 30 day trial basis and of course it would not let me. i have tried numerous times to contact these people. on top of this i was charged a yearly charge and a monthly charge. these people obviously do no know what they are doing. also i was never able to access the hold em tables after subscribing. my computer kept putting up a block. i guess they knew better than me. i hate pogo and WILL NEVER ever go to that site again.

my complaint is that almost a year ago i wanted to unsubscribe from club pogo i sent an e-mail and still every month 10.00 was taken out of my checking account. i e-mailed a second time and still my money is taken and the 3rd time i ask for a comfirmation letter that they recieved my request to unsubscribe and not charge my account anymore and then i immediately recieved the comfirmation letter last month and then again yesterday $39.99 was taken out of my account. I don't know what steps to take except to change my account number. I think they are a scam just to get peoples money once they have your card number.
I agreed to let pogo games get 5.99 a month to allow me access to play their online games. I noticed they have taken 5.99 twice in 1 month. Is there any way i con retrieve that extra 5.99 to put back into my checking account? I feel i was purposely violated.
