Circle K / customer service / teller & manager behavior

On the morning of january 15, 2016 I stopped to get gas at the circle k on secor rd in toledo, ohio near the michigan border. The pump clicked off, I looked at the wrong number (Not the dollars but the gallons) but did not realize that I was looking at the wrong number. Therefore I thought that there was something wrong with the pump, I would have apologized for my attitude if brigit with mary (Her manager) hadn't leaned over the counter and say, "we were right and you were wrong". Having been in management for about 20 years I was shocked that the manager believed that this was appropriate behavior. At a minimum my employee would have been written up, reprimanded, I certainly would not have smirked at the customer and say nothing at all. What a disappointment that customer service has come to this.
