Cincinnati Bell billing

Your Company told me I would be paying 55 dollars a month then Changed the price unbidden to 70 Dollars and expects the customer to pay for your greed and if not you mess up my credit score /?! I'm perplexed as to how you think this will turn out. I will NEVER pay the extravagant fees or the extra money your company thinks I owe them It is really quite astounding ...this is called blatant robbery! In the real world when you tell someone to give you something you have not earned just because that's called Theft! Now its in collections! and Ill tell them the same thing If i need to get a lawyer so be it but your company has burned this bridge and I carry a torch for the little guy & I'm also a well-known actor in my community and I will use every public forum afforded to me to GET cincinnati bell alta fiber to understand its callous mistreatment of its customers is not OK

Desired outcome: Dismiss these charges.

dec-feb, I was in hotel natural disaster come home phone bill312. how? transfer service to new address tech came out twice,cbt foreigners say no order77.00 pay now,I haven't used since 6/8/23, cancel instead of transfer,but they want pay, these ppl in cint,racist they got foreigners doing their dirty work, got a bill no service since June,now I'll file with ftc bc this seem fraudulent.

Cincinnati Bell Internet

I pay 85.13 for just internet, no phone no cable, just internet. I filed a complaint to the BBB. Spectrum is charging 49.99 for everything..boycott altafiber. This complaint is too short, so allow me to continue to fill your head. The economy is falling, how can you charge someone almost 90 dollars for internet and be ok with yourself? I hope God has mercy on those involved. I hope this was enough typing for you. I hope everyone that reads this has a blessed life. 🙌 almost done, I want to make sure this gets read, because this is not right. Do I diddty diddty dumb diddty do. Well I'm at the end now. Hope that was enough fo lr you.

Cincinnati Bell Push 8 to stop telamarketers

I have requested that push 8 service be removed from my phone (#[protected] as it is apparently stopped me from longing into my bank and my chart accounts! This request was made several days ago but was still there. I called and was told it was definitely removed! but it is still there. and i still cannot get into either account! I am finding it very difficult to contact your company by phone! this has been going on for almost 3 weeks, and i need this resolved.

Cincinnati Bell Internet and cable

I know we need to update are mps we just did a couple of years ago if you guys don’t stop with screwing us over will go to spectrum for better deals I don’t appreciate my tvs and cable not working ever since you guys went with altrafiber it really screwed everything up at 5543 clearview ave 45248 in Cincinnati Ohio but if we have to keep updates on are stuff to hand you bums money then that’s not gonna happen I’m very upset and unhappy how my cable and internet is this has got to end fast I can’t be doing this every couple of years cause you guys are bored with nothing there to do fix this issue without updating are stuff or will go to spectrum Sincerely Connie porter Alex porter and Greg porter your loyal customer for 8 years

Cincinnati Bell Free month or at least pay the last price quote ordered 136 sine the boxes was never on the first order

I received a call the end of July from a rep at Cincinnati Bell saying my promotion is ending on September 8th 2022 so they were calling to enter me into a new promo so he was telling me the best he could do is 150 I said for all the same services he says yes that's the best I could do I said that was ridiculous that I'm paying more for the same services so he begins to say I have to upgrade to new boxes also because there's a new platform everyone has to which to I began to say how it's a inconvenience that I have to switch boxes and pay more money he said I wouldn't have to switch no time soon but eventually I would so I said well if this is the best go ahead and do it cause it would go in affect in September I repeated over and over again so that would give me time to look for another provider he insured me that it wouldn't go in affect until September. On August 8th I called to pay a past due bill and notice they added the 150 on Aug bill so I called to let them know that it was wrong it should be for September so that rep corrected the amount for August so on August the 10th I come home to no cable I call they said I placed a order to upgrade on Aug 1st I argued no I did not so Justin said he sent a email to someone to see about a platform reverse and on August 11th he calls back at 107pm and says they listened to the recording and I agreed to it but I didn't I have my orders and it seems everytime you call in to have your bill fixed to the correct amount that they quoted you they enter you into a new order I have 4 to 5 orders in since June. And the ones I agreed to I have I asked for the August 1st request I received it 5 hours after I called and the dates state from Aug 1st thru Aug 9th when all the other orders went into affect the next day when I agreed to 150 on that order you can clearly see that the new boxes are not on there and the order I received today for August 1st has the boxes like the bill was tampered with

Cincinnati Bell Fake High Speed Internet

I recommended Cincinnati bell, after finding it on google, to a friend who who couldn't find a fast isp, he signed up for the 1Gbps package for $70 a month and after they installed the internet he got was only 1Mbps, and they were still going to charge him $70 a month for it. (1000 times slower than what he signed up for, with the price unchanged.). basically he had to tell them to go F themselves and send it all back, do NOT waste your time or money on this ISP, you WILL regret it!

Cincinnati Bell Fioptics Internet

I have my service internet provided by you, you blocked my main site that i need to work with. address; 1480 Apple Hill Road. 45230
My wife and I pay $250 average every months,
the only answer that I received from my request is;
"we will maintain the block"
I need it, there is no security threat.
No one else( no other internet company) block this site.
I fell like I would have to cancel your service soon, as you are not willing to resolve my problem.
Fix it please.

Cincinnati Bell no phone service, uncaring service personnel

The fiber optic's Cable broke Saturday morning. I called for service . The service man came but could not fix said that the other repair cable people would be here the next morning. I called and explained my wife is a diabetic and had emergency low sugar and we used the phone to call for help the service person said she could not help I ask to speak to her supervisor. After explaining about my wife, said that it would take as long as it took very uncaring. This is Thursday I called again this morning after talking to two people and twenty minutes I was told it would be fixed in the next 24 hours.

Cincinnati Bell internet

My internet wasn't working and I called cincy bell and was told there was an outage. I explained that in the past I always had to call after I rebooted and customer service did something on their end to get it back online. Rebooting at home didn't seem to fix the issue. But again was told nothing u could do-due to outage. I signed up for notifications,
Which I then received for 3 days telling me technicians were working on it. I called several times during those days and was told the same thing each time. The 6th maybe 7th time I called the person said there was no outrage and I should reboot again, which I did and she did something and it worked!
A week passed and the same thing occurs. I call and told to schedule A technician which was t available to come for three days. I told them I work from home and needed the technician to come sooner. They said no. I asked for a credit for the days it didn't work and was told I would have to call back after the technician came and request the credit. I said I didn't understand why I had to call back..it hadn't worked for a total of 7 days. Again the customer service rep said no she couldn't give me a credit. I had to call back after the tech came in 3 days. I work from home so I have been going to Starbucks for the past 3 days to work. As I didn't the first time it wasn't working. That is very inconvenient for me and unnecessary. I pay Cincinnati Bell each month for a service they failed to provide. I have. O. Hi or but to sit here all and wait for the technician to show up. But I will be switching providers at my earliest convenience. And I make sure to tell everyone I know NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU.

Cincinnati Bell unwanted phone calls

I am so tired of getting all these unwanted phone calls. I am on a do not call list but the calls keep coming in from the world. What can I do to stop them? They are from credit card companies; duke energy; medical braces and windows computer issues. I have been able to block some of them but they still keep coming thru!

What is cincinnati bell doing to prevent these calls from coming thru?

Cincinnati Bell billing practices

On [protected] (invoice 7404544) I returned a Cincinnati Bell Fioptics receiver & remote to their store and received a receipt for the transaction. With the billing statements they provide you need a lawyer to decipher them and I couldn't tell that they continued to charge me for that box for the next 35 months ($7.99 a month x 35 months=$279.65), when I cancelled the service they told me I need to turn in 3 boxes & 3 remotes when I only had 2, the other being returned on [protected]. Three calls to the office and two visits to the store and all I get is we are sorry but we can't help you and that is unacceptable way for a billion dollar corporation to treat it's customers.

Cincinnati Bell porting probs and modem (zoomtown... really!!!) charge

Tried for months to have a number ported. I am still trying and I am being charged $100.00 for a ZOOMTOWN modem that I didn't know existed. It was under previous owners contract and is probably obsolete and 20 years old too. It is probably at his house as a paperweight. My experience with this process of trying to switch to Spectrum has made me want to avoid Cincinnati Bell any way I can. I cancelled them as my internet provider at my residence and also for my cell phone service. I will be cancelling my landline at my residence also. They have lost me as a residential and business customer and I will not return.

Cincinnati Bell internet service - false charges reported on credit report

This company, after I closed my account, reported that owed them more money, which went on my credit report. I've since disputed the charges and they've been removed from my credit report. The company was basically fishing for more money, trying to STEAL from me and lowered my credit score temporarily in the Process. I will be reporting this complaint to every platform that I know exists. No company should be able to get away with this. It took hours on the phone and was a huge hassle to correct my credit score after I was purchasing a vehicle, I could have received a better interest rate if his company hadn't tried to literally STEAL from me.

Cincinnati Bell service and billings

Their system sucks, technical support sucks, and billing sucks.
Thier system never stays on, restart alot in a day. Called tech support, they don't do anything but reset on their end. They decide to do something about THEIR ISSUE when you make a public complaint. Suddenly they can send technicians to check the system. Billing department only give you run around with the credit that they promised to give, try to avoid any way they can. Homever, they will keep sending bills, not a bill, multiples bills after you terminate the service.
Do not even think about to use Cincinnati bell. Bad everything!

I was a victim of bait and switch by Cincinnati Bell. Claim to give you 30MBps internet. After switching from 22mbps, i now only get most 11mbps. After talking with service, they informed me there is a congested hub in the area..What? and you couldn't tell me before switch. They informed me that they would not know until hook up---fake ads

Cincinnati Bell zoomtown dsl

Our Zoomtown rarely works! Most of the time the service is intermittent. Can't stream movies, can't listen to music, can't watch videos, can't even surf internet reliably most days. AND if does happen to be working, the speed is so slow we get continuous buffering. Most times Netflix, Pandora, etc won't even connect.

We've called Cincinnati Bell, NUMEROUS times for several years, about the very poor quality of our service (we are in a rural area and don't have other choices) and they tell us we will be getting Fioptics in the next 18 months to 2 years--yes, every YEAR they tell us that. In the meantime our rate has gone up to a total of more than $40.

When we call to complain and IF we can get a supervisor--the best they can do is offer $5 off for 1 year (which sometimes gets "forgotten" when the bill generates)--keep in mind we tell them that most of the time we CANNOT even use the service. Doesn't seem to matter. We've also asked why this isn't considered an outage. Last time my husband asked that the supervisor rudely repeated, "Do you want the five dollars off or not? Do you want the five dollars? Do you want the five dollars or not?"

Hours on the phone, technicians tracking through our home without fixing anything or offering an answer or solution, upcoming upgrades that never come, paying more than double the price for new customers for service that works 10-15% (and that's a generous estimate) of the time, no apology for our troubles, rude customer service and supervisors and nothing has improved!

AND two different technicians told us that CB reps don't tell you but when you call and they run a test for some reason they turn down your speed and DO NOT turn it back up!

So ... you call about slow service you're paying too much for that doesn't work most of the time and wait for hours for no answers or credit for all the downtime (outages) to get dirty footprints all through your home so you get to call again and get snarky answers AND FOR ALL THIS you get to pay more than twice the price new customers pay AND they slow you down even more!

Alas, everyone in our area has the same problems. One has to ask why isn't there some kind of action against them yet--at least a local news consumer watchdog. We've all complained and had the same experience--CB does nothing but laugh all the way to the bank with our overpayments for a product that doesn't do anything close to what we're paying for.

From our experience--if you have another choice--go elsewhere! If you're rural--check with your neighbors and if they have this same story--start reading books!

Cincinnati Bell billing and charges

When calling on my bill about the charges that were given to me The man I was talking with could not understand me. I was trying to save on my bill, so I canceled some channels that I never used. I am paying more now than I did before. He told me to turn in my cable boxes. Why ? First off could you hire people that speak fluent english. He had no idea what I was talking about. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold for 10 minutes he came back and said a supervisor will not be in until Friday. Thats just a bunch of crap. Then he told me not to pay this bill and he would bill me the correct amount. Now we both know that it will not happen. Then I will be charged for an over due bill. Well I will disconnect Cincinnati Bell. I am not paying this bill until this problem is fixed. All the gentleman wanted to do was put me on hold or tell me he fixed the problem. Which he didn't do. Been a CBT customer for years. Michael Morrison thanked me by raising my bill over double to thank-me for my patronage after my promo expired. Was 65.99. Now 121. and some change. Spent a lot of time with the nasty customer service people who absolutely don't care about their price gouging practices. Do not do business with this Organization. What they don't realize is the amount of business they are losing as I am switching business services to Time Warner and Windstream. I am in Telecommunications and serve businesses across Ohio, (Dayton and Cincinnati). We as an Organization are all upset at CBT and all of us, (our President included will not promote CBT in any fashion). Michael Morrison and his price gouging is costing them a lot more than 1 residential customer. I tried my best through escalation procedures to tell him, but the nasty customer service department would not let me speak to him in this regard.
I am very confident they will continue to push their customer's to Time Warner and Windstream.
BTW - They are charging my 79 year old father even more for lesser service. Bill Werner Lebanon, Ohio
