Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] Unavaibility of Services

I have Internet connection (no. 2610138)through BSNL Indore. But not working since 15 Days .My Official complaint No.is 165418 Dt.1.09.09. I contacted at customer care at their Local Telephone No.2413999 on 7.09.09 at 4.15 pm, It is quiet surprised that while a company is charging for service & we are asking for it, the customer executive talkled very unresponsibly because he is not confirm whenever service will be alright, he never knows about the service responsibility for the consumer, overall we want our service uninterrupted & in the time when service is not in working the payment of that time will not to Charge.

what is happening with this network.. if it is there for 2 minutes then it is disconnected for 5 minutes.. its really irritating and not at all allowing to complete a task.. we would be thankful if these problems are solved immediately...

i have been calling texting and roaming around the telephone department for router problems and have been charged even in the absence of network connection for quitesome time please clear the problems as early as possible thanking you

Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] Broadband connectivity

Broadband connectivity issue. I have been facing connectivity issue for 6 month and made several complaints at Helpdesk and personally at BSNL office, but issue doesn't resolve. It always showing ADSL link down. I made several complaints and one of a complaint number I can provide here for your reference ([protected]). BSNL officer are really enjoying there life because nobody worry about customer whether customer would come or go. I tried to call higher authority to convey our concern, but there also no response. We want to give more details about me. Land line number is [protected].

we console ourselves by paying bill to bsnl without using our internet.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] frequently disconnecting and no response

Dear sir,

My landline no. is [protected] and from last half month my broadband is not working properly, sometimes it is connected and then after some time it disconnects.so, i cannot use it properly and sir, also my landline not working from 2 months. I have complaint many times but i have not received any response from bsnl side. My complaint no. is 64664. Everytime i was told by bsnl technicians that we will look after the matter. I am really fed up of this problem.

I request you to pls look after this problem seriously or pls disconnect my services after letting me know and give my deposit back. I am really not satisfied with bsnl services.

Mydetails for billing period jul 2009 show recurring amount of Rs.509/ regular charges 100/ usg charges 230/ and after deducting discounts etc. net bill works out at 593/ . I failed to understand what is recurring charges denote in my bill . pl. explain me . I lodged complaint on Customer service centre but they failed to explain.

i have broadband (homplan 128) on No. [protected], the broadband connection started inn month of july, the bill amount of Rs.994/- which is not correct. As per the there were 150mb free usage facility & no surfing charges.Please take into consideration that My connection is disactive is month of august I have complaint about it to the office, my complaint no. is 13896 .

Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] non attendence of complaints

having been frustrated in attempts to get my phone number NOIDA 2490931(BSNL) rectified I decide to get it disconnected. There was no response for many days after I had deposited the requisite instrument, papers and paid bills in their various offices . Now about a month has elapsed and after attending various offices of BCNL noida, the refund of the outstanding amount in their books to me is not being done. Most of the times their various officials are either not available in their offices or/and they do not take phone calls. This is particularly true of the operating, commercial and accounts department of the BSNL.
Lately i have paid many visits in Noida head office of BSNL to their Public relation department and account department but to no avail.
Plese get my due amount refunded to me.
Please advise anyone whosoever is considering BSNL to avoid it unless they wish to buy problems. Few of the many BSNL numbers in NOIDA which i have had the misfortune of trying to contact with no result thus far are;
DE 2588677, 2050121; SDO 2580580; AGMOps 2404004;GM Finance 2548300; Accounts 2415777;2415888;2055300 ; PRO2055555, and other numbers too numerous to mention.

i have purchased a ausb modem of bsnl from phagwara bsnl office.
but after the uses of one month it's broke .
i could not know the reason for thios.
i was purchased this in 3295 rupees.
the official staff told me that bsnl is not responsible for uir modem.
u will have have 2 pay rs. 3200 more.then u can usethe banefit of modem.
i m tauseef zafar.

I am Yegappan V residing in #167, Vinayakanagar, Hagadur main road, Whitefield, Bangalore 560066
I am holding a land line phone from BSNL since 1998 (080 - [protected]). Past one month almost all the time the phone was dead.After making complaint to BSNL office at Whitefield, once the lineman attended the problem.After that only one day the phone was working. Now again the phone is dead. The customer care phone (080-[protected]) also dead & I am unable to register my complaint.

Kindly treat the matter most urgent and solve the problem permanently. Without using the phone i am paying the charges. Hope for the possitive reply from your end

Hello All,

I am Srinivasan residing at #62/13, Sri Sumukha, 1st B cross, 5th bolck, BSK III stage, Bangalore - 560085.

Recently took BSNL broadband connection, after which the land-line connection (080-[protected]) is completely dead. I have been visiting the BSLN office everyday and the connection is active only to that moment.

Please do consider this as an serious issue and provide me the permanent solution for telephone and broadband connections including wireless.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] Internet disconnect intermittently

Dear sir,
I have been using BSNL broadband internet connection from march'08 and since then my internet connection was working perfectly.After viewing BSNL's internet connection speed and service, many of my friends had switched to BSNL from other Internet Service Providers.
But from the last 3~4 months i am facing internet diconnection problem and very often i am not able to connect to the internet.This has become a daily problem and very frustating for me as i am a working professional and generally surf on internet in the evening time only.I have had done many complaints to my local telephone exchange and Mr.SDO as well but everytime i get the response as " We will see"...can't get help of this sentence.

With the downfall in communication through landline (telephone) calls and communication market taking over by private cellular service provider, these type of ignorance by BSNL personnel is never expected. If somebody is sincerely reading my complaint then please help me out and get this problem sorted out ASAP.My telephone number is [protected]

I just moved to Kuala Kangsar Perak Malaysia. One day I was approached by one of Celcom agent and they selling their broadband and convinced me that they have a good service and very fast line compare to other similar company. Furtermore, they have promised that if I have any problem on the internet line, they can always assist me and try their best to satisfy their user. As they are very convincing I have bought the package i.e RM45 per month.

On the very same day I have tried the broadband and I could not log in to the internet but thinking it might have a line problem I waited for a few days and tried to log in again but sadly I still can't log in the internet. After 1 week I go to same place and looked for the agent again but the booth that they set for promotion was no longer there anymore. Therefore I went to the Celcom shop at the Bgn MARA Kuala Kangsar and asked one of the staff. I was dissappointed when the staff told me that in Kuala Kangsar there is no Celcom line and if I wish to complaint or to upgrade the line I have to go to their IPOH or TAIPING Office to do so. As a single mother with 3 small children I have no capasity to go to Ipoh or Taiping to do so.

It was really rediculious and I immediately asked them to terminate my account. As a consumer, I felt cheated and Celcom is truely unethical in doing their business. After a few month I receive a lawyer letter on the arrears bill. Again I was so extremely surprised because I have terminated my account. In addition I have received a few calls from Celcom Ctre and every call I received I have told them on the unethical thing that they have done to me but whatever I have told them was not delivered to their upper management and until today I still receiving reminders and threaten message from Celcom which is really unethical.

For me I have no contract bound with them as they have sold the undelivered services at the first place. How do feel when you bought something that is not as expected as per contract. Celcom is really unethical company which only think on their profit and benefit and cheating their customer and robbed their customer money as freely as they are living in a stone age country. As a branded company this should not happen and Celcom should know better their product before selling to consumer. In this case I was never use their service at all from the day one the broadband sold to me and how do you expect I will pay as I never enjoy any single cent of my money.

Please mind your management and services provider and please don't simply just think on your sales but you provide ### to your customer. I will bring this up to upper authority if Celcom did not do any rectification on my case.

I have given Rs 3250 on 27th of Jan, 2017 for my new internet connection to the executive but my connection has not been started till now. Now the executive is not picking up my call. Instead he told me that I will be getting the refund.

I have customer enrollment form number (TBLR. CEF NO: 596297) as he had given me at the time of submitting the documents.

His name is Rajiv and his number is [protected]. Kindly take up appropriate actions as soon as possible.

RAJESH, from BSNL Broadband Service, Bangalore, BANASHANKARI 2ND STAGE, visits to residentail house having BSNL Internet connection, and says about Broadband offer. He comes in the weekdays and tells offer is valid forlimited period.

He connects the ordinary landline instrument from MICROTEL and says he connected the CABLE Modem and collects 2250 Rs for it. He gives the contact no as [protected] which is Temprarily Out of Service. He is not traceable and his mobile number is wrong one.

Be aware of such false BSNL Broadband Offer from FRAUD AGENTS!

Virgin Media is far and away the world's worst customer service company. It is not surprising that the company is up for sale again. Anyone mad enough to buy them can expect the worst. Whatever due diligence they have done on the company will not prepare them for what they find on the ground. My own experience was an install from hell.

I should have known what to expect when the VIrgin Media account generated and networld email address.

My partners name was spelled differently on different letters / contract etc. not the best start given the fact that email is not that flexible. The Install letter did not arrive until several days after the engineer called. I therefore did not have a PIN number. The install engineer was plain rude and gave me the wrong PIN number after using his laptop to receive it from HQ.

The serial number was wrong. It turned out the there was an error in the Customer Service manual!

I signed up for 4 Meg but was entered up as 2 Meg on their database. I was not given the £10 installation discount for joining online - they had me down as ordering by telephone. I was advised to ring support in 'India" and after a long time waiting they told me to ring 'England' who then told me to call 'India' ... India did not have access to all my details and so we had a completely impossible conversation. They asked me for my password. Two had been given by the Virgin Media sign up did not work. Later, much later, it transpired that he should have asked for a 'security word' - in-fact I had given that in desperation even though it was not a 'Password' but they would not accept it. It later transpired (from a supervisor) that the staff I had been talking too did not know about a 'security word' for security reasons!

I was continually refused access to a Manager / Supervisor. During one of the many calls it was revealed they I had been put down as £25 per month when it should have been £17.

I was then told that 'the best solution would be to go back online and go through the registration process again!' I was told I would get two bills, TV and telephone and just a Telephone. I had not ordered TV! In fact it the became clear that the £25 charge was for TV. So I 'may receive a £25 bill and a £25 credit'.

At the end of all this I just kept insisting on a manager and finally, after god knows how many hours, I got one. Santosh was OK, he was doing his best to sort through all these mistakes. He was able to increase me to 4 meg pretty much immediately offered and I demanded better, compensation. He finally agreed to upgrade me to 20Meg for a £25 per month. I was told that he would not be able to do this himself and that it could take up to 24 hours but promised to call me back after 24 hours to check it had been done. I was impressed that, somewhere, there was someone at Virgin Media that understood that the customer is still king, I trusted him. I thanked him and we had a laugh.

Some two hours later my 4 Meg died, I assumed that it was part of the 20 Meg upgrade. Sadly 24 hours later it was still dead. Santosh did not ring. Several days later I have nothing. I have a dead cable modem, a 4 port router I purchased to use with the service, and high blood pressure

It has cost me a small fortune in phone calls and a redundant cable modem but I have had enough, I can't take any more of this. The only problem is how do I get out of it?

Virgin Media are the biggest ###ters on the planet. DOING BUSINESS WITH VIRGIN MEDIA can seriously damage your health.

Basically after coming home from work, i put my computer on and there was no connection there. So called up for assistance, when i called up i explained that the engineer whom fitted the phone was to lazy to put it in the kitchen were the internet was, he put it in my front room, both being one end of the house to the other. I explained that i would need someone to call me on my mobile so we could go through the transactions together to prevent me running to and fro from one end of the house to the other, as well as the fact i was not impressed that the call was costing me 25pence per minute, which is ridiculous.

This request was refused, i then called another number were i was given another number which didn't exist, so i called again, and again and again, i was fobbed off lied to and in the end furious... eventually a supervisor called me and went through the transactions, he said it was my computer and not a fault on the line... three hours this all took me.
The next day i got a computer wizz in, who confirmed there was nothing wrong with the computer, that it was in fact a twist in the wire.

The people in the call center were all indian, and a lot were very difficult to understand, neither did they understand me so well, which made the call longer and frustrating.

Ortel communicaton ltd based on Orissa brodband and cable tv company. I am from kolkata and highly dis satisfied with this company. I took brodband coonnection from ortel 3 month back the with 584kbps unlimited plan at a cost 660 inclusv tax per month. But unfortunetly the connection is worst..even if i tried to reach technical guys, they never attend me. Even today when i asked them to cut the connection they are rigid to that. i am really frustated and want you to warn about this company. even they took 1000 as security deposite which is refundable but now they are even rigid to refund that also..

I am a old you telecom broadband customer. my relationship number is 465597. I have made the payment of 500 Rs for modem. this is refundable amount. I submitted the modem before 3 months. but still now i didnt get any refundable amount of 500 Rs. I called 1000 times to youtelecom customer care number. they escalated my call also. but they are cheating the customer. still now they wont arise any complaints. they are showing to the customers as arised the complaints. this is showing the worst service.

i am solomon prabhu..i wanted a broadband connection very urgently and i called up airtel and a guy named premnath([protected]) came down and took a RS 500 and told me that it is non refundable and you will get a connection in 24 hours as an priority case this happened on 23rd may but till today it is zero from airtel side and everyday i call up customer care i lodge a complint to the people but nothing has happened and it is full of false complint and people there in customer name like bonis, surya, vasnth, padma all say tomorrow tomorrow but i think aitel is never waking up still sleeping because tomorrow never comes up for them...and what happened to the commitmnet given bu the executive? what happened to the commitmnet given by the customer care executives ? is airtel working or still giving false promises ?...and if this is going to contnue people have a very good name for airtel but now if all executives from airtel gona do this then people are gona think 10 times to take up airtel..i hope airtel shd wake up and remove these guys for giving false commitments to do their daily sales.airtel do something or refund my money back at the earliest.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] poor connectivity

I am having a bsnl telephone connection with an unlimited package for internet in the name of my brother V.Muthuswamy.Though the connection is in the name of my brothe, I had been using the net for my trading in stock market.hough the packages entitles an unlimited sevice, the internet link gets snapped very frequentlNot a day passes without the services getting disrupted at regular intervals and you may be lucky to get your links restored by swithing the modem off and on repeatedly.This public sector undertaking is suffering from incompetent prsonnel, sub standard equipment and poor customer service.hough a helpline is availabe to voice your complaints one should be lucky enough to get access to this line after many attempts.Even after getting conncted you will be asked to wait indefinitely, ultimately the link will be snapped alogether.Recently I did not get the link to the net for a continuous period of 2 days under the pretext of some server problems which I am unable comprehend.One can understand the frustration of a trader when his scrips are moving in the positive direction, all of a sudden your trading gets snapped, thanks to bsnl.

BSNL is probably the worst telecom company in the world!...very poor services...ridiculously slow broadband and even worse is their "customer service "...it is more like customer harassment! !..the prices are too high for the service provided! ...moreover the service is so unreliable...like you don't know as to how long you will get an uninterrupted internet connection!..One sound advice: please NEVER EVER subscribe to BSNL!...There are a number of other options available these days!...In Pondicherry, Cherrinet provides excellent broadband ...at speeds 50 times that of BSNL even at their basic package! BSNL guys should be ashamed!

this has been one f the most pathetic internet connections i have ever recd in my travel around the world. the connection cuts off as soon as u enter a web address in the address bar.
had been to the BSNL office in Punalur and surprisingly one of the ladies mentioned that there wasnt anyone in the office to do any sort of work... they are either loitering around somewhere on BSNL expenses or out on an extended break...
India Rocks as they say... and this is one way it rocks...

I am having BSNL broadband connection since last 2 years. For the past 7 days, the broadband is not working and everytime my wife calls the office, she gets response "It will be done today" and that day never comes. We are now totally frustated with the service.

The tariff offered by BSNL is too crappy to be believed. The unlimited plan which offers unlimited 'download speed" @ 32 KBps for Rs. 900 is too stupid to be true. Even Pakistan gets a better service than we get here.
Take a look at this-

Convert the rates in Pakistani Currency into Indian currency and then we get the difference.

This complaint was filed just to compare services provided in 2 countries and not to engage any feuds.

I am writing from chennai.our no is [protected].Our internet broadband is not working for the last 1 month.Inspite of repeated complaints there is total irresponsibility on the service engineer's part.They have hardly looked into it.I tried complaining to 1504 -complaint no for broadband they disconnected the phone without giving our complaint number.I want an explanation to this.Is this the service Bsnl customer care offers to its customer.Kindly guide me in dealing with this matter

When finally BSNL Broadband arrived after a year had lapsed from the time of registering we were happy. But it was shortlived. It worked only for a day!. Repeated complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Now it is almost 6 months and yet no one bothers to set matters right. We pay Rs 250 a month to BSNL for their virtual service! What's more shameful is that the e-mail addresses and phone numbers provided in their website are outdated. E-mails keep bouncing back and phone calls land up at residences where one is greeted with rudeness. BSNL may kindly change their tag line to "Disconnecting India"!

Hi,
I am using BSNL broadband service at my home and I mostly have to face the internet disconnectivity problem. When I search for any site, “The page can not be displayed” message is shown & that’s why I am unable to open any page/site. I have faced this problem last 15 days too. And when I call for complaining about this to Mall Road BSNL office (Kanpur) then they always tells me to change the DNS server. So I only want this that if they change the DNS Server then please do inform us about it so that we wouldn’t face this problem again.

I am following up with BSNL Ranikuthi, Kolkata to repair my faulty broadband line for months without any output. Every time I log a complain, I get a message/call from BSNL that the problem is fixed, but nothing happens. I'd visited BSNL Ranikuthi & Jadavpur offices several times and requested a permanent solution. I was also promised that the connection wires will be changed, which is pending for months.

Can something be done with this kind of poor service from BSNL ? My problem ticket number is X-8160.

Have taken broadband internet connection of BSNL, at Ahmedabad (Gujarat -India) since Aug 2017. But since its installation, I couldn't find proper service, i.e. connectivity. I am trying to access my business work from my home. I can't get connected & I can't prepare for my business assignments. I have taken unlimited Internet services of Rs 1350/- per month. I can't bare the cost if i don't get proper service. No one is responding on the phone.

Kindly take up the matter with BSNL authorities and oblige.

I have Mobile no [protected]. On 19.07.09 at 4.12.34 pm I received a message from [protected]"Thanks for downloading animation SexiestBikny. You have been charged 020 Rs”. How BSNL can deduct amount from my account because I did not downloaded any thinks. I was log a call to BSNL Customer Care (call log no.-3620859) on 21.07.09 at 6:30 pm. But still they are not responding. It is not 1st time with me. Please reverse these charges & in future do not deduct any charges unless I consent for it. Please advise me what I am doing for this.

Dear sir/madam,

I am resident of chennai. I am a user of BSNL broadband connection-mogappair east exchange since January 2009. My experience with the connection is so terrible. Initially the connection was interrupted due to lot of cable problems. The customer service people is more pathetic than bsnl employees in a sense not able to give proper information, no proper English and rude also. When we step in to BSNL office also, they will speak in a way that they are in the cadre of IAS. Some contactable person will not be available at all during office time. when we have a complaint to other private service providers, they respond with in a hour ans make the problem set right. But in BSNL the poor working culture and process will take a week some times to solve the problem. I am putting this complaint not in a mood that it will have the impact, but to just express my concern. Hope this medium understands that there are many users who suffers from BSNL even though nothing cant be done since it is owned by Central Government.

Please note that we have surrendered the telephone no. [protected] belonging to Late Shri K.C.C. Raja on 20th Marach 2009 to BSNL, Ernakulam and also submitted the documents pertaining to the same for obtaining the deposit. As of date, we have not received any reply for the same.

1. This is to inform that my land line phone number [protected] has been surrendered w.e.f 28th Jul 09. As per Annx “A” to this letter all the accessories and other required documents have been surrendered by me in your BSNL office.

2. As per Bill No skt GG00339 DATED 04 Sep 2001 security deposit Rs. 2000/- was paid by me for taking new connection. Since my line has been disconnected and not in the directory I now request you to kindly pass needed order to refund my security deposit as early as possible. 3. An suitable action in getting the SD reimburse will be greatly solicited.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] GETTING BILL WITHOUT CONNECTION

Respected sir,

Myself is Vishal Nimbark, sir my address is B103, PMO colony, C-58/20, sector 62 Noida.

Sir, i had applied for BSNL Broadband connection though a consultant but after 15 days of waiting he has told us that bsnl broadband service is not available in ur area, so finaly we have told him that we dont want the connection. Afterwards we did not received any call from BSNL office.

But now even if we dont have any phoneline, dont have any modem and BSNL has given us a bill of Rs. 2078, the given phone number is S62 2401782. I had not recieved first bill. I got second bill at my address.

we have been to BSNL office, sector 62 and met many of the officers, but none of them is responding properly, one of them said us to pay the bill. why we should pay even when we are not having any connection?

I HOPE U WILL DO NEEDED ACTIONS IN FRONT OF THE OFFICERS WHO ARE NOT EVEN CARING FOR CHECKING WHETHER THEY HAVE PROVIDED CONNECTION OR NOT, AND JUST THROWING BILLS AND WASTING TIME OF PEOPLE.

My telephone [protected] is having heavy background noise making conversation impossible. This fault has been there since last 30 days. Several complaints have been registered on 198 and 1500 but no corrective action has been taken by bsnl gurgaon office.
Request get the concerned responsible person taken to task and the telephone rectified.

Respected Sir,
I Was booked a my telephone connection line at NARODA TELEPHONE EXCHANGE, A'BAD from 12/05/09.and today is a 13/07/209. But till date i don't recieve a telephone line. i was booked there a FWT WLL line and they was give me a my telephone no.[protected].My reciept no. is [protected]. and my D/N No. is N984858 and other some no. is GJATD20090551756. i was pay there a 500rs booking. whenever i m go there they was reply me you will get in a 2 to 3 day...i don't know how much i miss a 2 or 3 day...
there a very loose staff and uncareless staff...sometime they told me we have a no stock of FWT WLL and sometime told me you will get a old instument and sometime told me you will get a old model
instument...ufffffffff. i m so tired from this naroda bsnl sarkari tantra..please help me.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] Slow Internet connection Broadband

I am a user of BSNL so called Broadband 750 UL plan. The service provided under this plan is extremely frustrating. Earlier I had 250 plan it was serving at a fine speed but it was Limited( 1GB), but when I switched to Unlimited plan my speed decreased by several times. as other people are saying its actually 2Mbps but i am getting just 190Kbps and downloading speed of just 25 Kbps. Please tell me what to do to increase my Broadband speed.
