Bel Furniture After sales service

Firstly, I purchased a three piece sectional sofa, a rocker recliner, a dining table for 8 with all 8 chairs and a rug. Total cost around $5000 so by no means a small purchase. Purchase date was end of november 2011. Sales man was very curteous, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Here's where it all goes wrong, first delivery consisted of table 8 chairs, 3seater part of sectional, 2seater part of section and corner section of sofa. I rejected everything except the 2 seated. The rest was worn like it had been used on display for years, the colour was ice cream and was more or dirty brown when it arrived. Table was totally scratched and chipped, chairs were broken and scratched and chipped all in all it was a disaster. Delivery two, early dec, three seated sofa, 8 chairs, dining table and corner sofa, again the table and chairs were scratched chipped and broken, I rejected 4 chairs and the table. The corner sofa was scratched and was rejected. The three seated was accepted and in good condition. Delivery three late december consisted of dining table, chairs, and rocker recliner. Rocker recliner looked and smelt like ex display model it was filthy, scratched, and generally disgusting. Table and chairs were scratched dented and in a terrible state. The delivery men has also applied stain to chips made on the journey to the house, the stain was still wet and the chips were huge. Delivery 4 Jan 21, co sited of table chairs, corner section of sofa and rocker recliner, table and chairs was the same set that was delivered in delivery 1 so I rejected again and corner sofa was same as previously delivered. I accepted the rocker recliner as it was new. All the time during the last two months I have spoken to 3 managers at bel furniture and they have not bs able to resolve the situation. Dealing with this company is hell! The after sales service is appalling, I will NEVER purchase from this company again and I warn off anybody who mentions them, this is the worst service, not to mention the useless managers, Bill and Raymond who don't care about the after sales service. They should bs fired. On a side note everything was paid in full in the store, so they received payment and now two months later I still haven't received what I paid for. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT! I will update this post as the saga continues.

Bel Furniture Non Receivable Furniture

I purchased some fruniture on May 28, 2011 from Bel Furniture. My Sales person (Margarita) stated it could take up to 4 weeks to arrive. I opted out of having them deliver it, because they were going to charge a high price and then I would have to wait until they had other furniture being delivered to New Braunfels in order to bring it. (They are getting the delivery fee from numerous people) I made a call on June 13, 2011 because I STILL DID NOT HAVE MY furniture and spoke first to Betty, who you can NOT understand and knows NOTHING about anything! Very unprofessional if I may say myself. She transfered me to Sarah, who stated she is from Houston and will have to check. What I am wanting checked on is, the rstools I purchased that I still have not received have gone on Sale. I paid $127.95 and now they are $88.00 each. I still have not received them, why could they not give me the new price? So Sarah states that AMIR the manager will have to call me back and let me know if he can do this. To this date 06/24/2011 I have yet to hear from Amir. Here it is 06/24/2011 and I still have not received my furniture. So I called on 06/22/2011 and spoke to a Debbie, about where the heck my furniture was, because I had already made my first installment on it and I have not received anything. The Entertainment center or the Bar stools. So on 06/23/2011 Betty calls my phone and leaves a message stating that her boss has called her and said "Something about a show room Floor" but that she is not sure what he means so she will have to pass it on to Debbie. Can you imagine someone calling your phone and leaving you a message stating something like a show room floor and not knowing what is going on, but that I can call back on Friday and find out? Why do they have this Betty there if she KNOWS nothing about ANYTHING at ALL times? So here it is Friday June 24, 2011 I made my first installment and I still do not have one piece of furniture that I purchased on May 28, 2011. Can someone please help me?

Bel Furniture Have Not Received My Order

I ordered a rustic bedroom set (8 peices all together) on Febuary 7, 2011. My delivery date was set on March 12, 2011 and their was no phone call of a cancellation on their part and no delivery. I called the number on my order form a lady had said it would be there first thing in morning (On a Sunday). Only part on my order showed up. I called the local store and was told to call the Corporate office (thats a joke) I kept getting tranfered to different messages. Hung up called back and told the lady don't transfer me again. She set a new delivery date to March 24, 2011. They called me March 22 and said we will call and set up a date when your furniture is here. I'm Still Waiting! It took THREE days for my check to clear the bank and Its going on two months of still waiting for furniture you can't run a bussiness like this people.

ordered table when they delivered it they forgot the legs said they would be back in a week...called store for refund said it would have to go though corp office...they would call me in a few days when they got notice about the issue...THIS IS A JOKE...DONT BUY FROM BEL!

I bought a living room in January on a Saturday, they guaranteed delivery on Thursday. They didn't tell me they meant 4 Thursday's from then. 2 months later the recliner to my set broke. Took them 2 weeks to send out someone to look at it and say yeah, its broke. Promised a replacement in 2 weeks. Still waiting 2 months later... Called the store many times and they keep saying they will check into it and get it delivered and surprisingly the delivery manager is never there on the day I call. I called the corporate office, yes they are a joke, they didn't want to discuss the problem or lack of customer service they just wanted me off the phone. Their solution was to call the store and when they came back to the line they said the delivery manager would be calling me any minute, they have the chair in stock and they will get it out to me. Guess what, IM STILL WAITING! WHAT A HORABLE BUSINESS!

Bel Furniture Customer service/delivery

Firstly I would like to say that the furniture seems to be of good quality, and I have received compliments on the pieces which I have... but the customer service and especially the delivery service sucks!
Firstly on delivery day, the guys dropped a piece of the entertainment center and broke it, and omitted to put an end table on the truck. Upon inspection of the furniture, found that one piece of the leather sectional had a scuff mark. Called customer service, and they said they will replace the sectional, and the tower from the entertainment center. Impressed so far. 2nd delivery... delivery guy called to say he would be here between 10 and 11pm (?!) Said not possible have young kids etc etc. 3rd delivery... they brought the wrong piece of the sectional to be replaced. Did not bring the missing end table and then demolished the complete entertainment center almost breaking by 42" lcd TV. 4th delivery scheduled for between 3-5pm. I called the driver at 6:15pm and he said that he was running late, and he has 2 other people to deliver to after the one he is at before he able to delivery mine. Will probably be here between 9-10pm (?!) Said needed to cancel, as we have a dinner appointment. I have put a call into the VP of operations and left a voicemail. I am still waiting on a response. So far... I am missing the furniture in an undamaged state, and time off from work to get said furniture. RUN AWAY... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM... THEIR DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE CANNOT MEET THE STANDARDS OF THEIR FURNIUTURE.

These people are hard and unreasonable. No delivery was made as promised. When called to ask why I was told that I was not home. My cameras don't lie. There was no delivery attempt. I now must pay $100.00 more to secure the furniture. What? Spoke to the named store manager Lee. He concurred. The delivery attempt was made, in fact he said I even cancelled. Again, WHAT? I must admit I am the dumb one for not reading reviews prior to walking into this so called business. Customer service? a Joke!

Bel Furniture Leather Chair

I bought a chair and have had it less then a year also I purchased $219.00 warranty . They told me that they could not warrenty leather color that faded due to sitting in it. No not sunlight fade sitting made the color wear off in 7 months. So if yo buy go somewheres else. There warranty is no good and there store policy is a sham . They have no service department . Just a place to store money and poorly made furniture

Bel Furniture Don't shop at bel furniture!

Let me start by saying this is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. If you are even thinking about buying frm them check the BBB first, I want have to say any more. They have an F rating that is as bad as it gets. They constantly run deceptive adds. They have more than a hundred complaints filed against them.

Well I just purchased a bedroom set from them and just got delivered. Their delivery people offered to setup the bedroom set in my upstairs bedroom. They were very professional and did a great job. By the way as a business owner with an A+ BBB rating I can tell you that BBB is a business and you have to be a member to get the better rating. Also I got 3 times the sales tax off on my purchased and BBB calls that deceptive advertising which is #$%. The tax is getting paid and I got almost 24% off the price not bad at all. I guess there is no pleasing some people. Next time I am going straight to Bel Furniture.

Bel Furniture Overcharged greatly

On 11/21/08 I purchased a 3 pc sectional for $1, 622.68+$151.50 scotch guard--Total $1, 774.16, Paid with credit card. I was asked to sign invoice while talking to sales person and a customer service clerk. When I canceled the purchase 5 days later and before furniture was delivered, I was told that I had to pay 25% fee for cancelation and that I had agreed to these terms by signing the invoice. I told them that I was never told about this fee. Before I was helped on the day I canceled the purchase, there was a couple (husband and wife) that had canceled a purchase of over $7, 000 dlls. When they saw what they wanted me to pay (about$443.00 and they told me I had to pay this fee in cash -no charge-no check-) They approached me and showed me all of the paper work regarding the cancelation they had just made, and they did sign the invoice too. Since I disagreed in paying I was told they were going to talk to the owner of the store to see if I could get a relief on such outregeous fee. It's March 7th and I have not gotten my money back yet.

Piece of crap. Crappy materials.
The bolts are wrong size and the instructions are wrong. Bolts were not long enough. Cannot complete without making a trip to hardware store there were not enough cross dowel nuts. Project requires 12 and only 8 were provided. Also the bolts weren't long enough to attach back piece of trundle to rest of trundle!

I have to say that my experience at Bel Furniture of fantastic! I strongly recommend EVERBODY to go to Bel. They have a AMAZING staff and prices. I was very impressed. I will continue to shop at Bel. They are family with God in there life and have grown so much. I still remember when I went to shop at Bel a couple of years back and I remember how there were only a few stores but know they have grown so much! BEL FURNITURE IS THE BEST AND NO MATTER WHAT ANBODY SAYS I WILL GO THERE NO MATTER WHAT!

bel furniture suckss so bad.. ATTENTION: do not buy from them. This company is like a rip off. They dont price match, theyre bunch of stupid liars. NEVER WILL BUY FROM THEM, go rather to Ashley Furniture or Rooms To Go. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER.! f*** you BEL FURNITURE

I had a bad experience with their bad delivery the worst ever. after paying alot for the delivery they can't even deliver it properly. they have no concern how much you just paid for the furniture they will drop and drag it in my house when I told the idiot delivery man to take extra care he answered me "why don't you do my job" I make a complaint in their office right away but they never do anything about it. I have to call for the warranty to fix the furniture because they deliver damage and badly delivered furniture. they came and fixed it. But again I have to exchange the furniture after 2 weeks after I change my mind and the manager agreed for the exchange and of course I have to pay again for the second delivery no problem I paid, but this time again another delivery idiots this time they agaib delivered a damage furniture and the worst is they badly scratched my wood floor. I have told again to just call their office for warranty. What a time wasters and full of incompetent staffs.

I have purchased 3 piece reclining sofa and mattress for 3500$. When i purchased the sofa i took guardian protection service and paid money for that.When i wanted to use the warranty service they talked to me for 30 mins and at the end they come out with stupid answer saying the service wont cover unless it is an accident. They wont cover the leather wear and tear nor the mechanism. And their customer service sucks very badly. Never ever buy anything at bel unless you want to repent later. Not only that when we ordered the sofa we ordered for black one but later they say that black is not available and we have buy beige one. And they delivered the beige one damaged ones 4 times. We had to take off from work 4 days due to the defected pieces and they say that they cannot come again even if it defected. We need to pay money for them and experience at this ###. Dont ever face this going to bel.

When I bought furniture (living room) the salesman explained everything in detail. I guess you just didn't listen to what the salesperson was saying. You were probably too excited about the new furniture. I know my wife didn't hear all the salesman said although she was right next to me and her hearing is a lot better than mine. She just was not paying attention. Now you expect the furniture company to knuckle down to your indecision and give you all your money back. I know that the re-stocking fee is very high but you should have backed out of the deal when you were told what the restock fee was. If there was an defect in the furniture you would not be charged for repair or replacement.

I recently shopped the New Year sale at Bel Furniture and was amazed by their pricing and their staff. So I guess I would have to strongly and disagree with your complaint.

Are you sure it was $151.50 for scotch guard or guardian (extended warranty for five-years)? In case you paid for guardian, did you received a furniture care kit at time of purchase? You did return the kit, didn't you?
There is no “OVERCHARGE” that happened here, that amount is just your cancellation fee. It is a lot like ordering a pizza. once you place the order, you can't call back 5 minutes later cause you've changed your mind.

It occurs to me that you’re fickle-minded; in state of Texas you have three days to change your mind. Don't blame anyone but yourself for not reading the invoice before you signed it.
Had they not delivered the furniture to you as they promised, you would be most outraged.
