I paid in full for a patio bed swing and upholstery/cushion package in April

I paid in full for a patio bed swing and upholstery/cushion package in April . I understand there were delays due to COVID, but I have concerns about the product quality and Magnolia's efforts to resolve them. I tried contacting the owners, but they were never available. Here are the unresolved issues that worry me:

- They used interior stain on exterior furniture. When I asked *** at Magnolia about it, she said it was acceptable. However, the stain manufacturer (***) told me it's not suitable for outdoor use, especially on cypress wood furniture. They wouldn't warranty the stain for outdoor application.

- The seat cushion foam has already degraded and looks worn after just a week of use.

- The custom swing cover doesn't look like the advertised photos on their site. It's sloppy and doesn't fit the swing properly. It hangs at least 12" below the swing. *** at Magnolia just apologized for the poor fit.

Other consumers should be aware of these additional issues:

- The swing construction is very sloppy. There are router gouges, glue stains that won't take finish, visible scratches from improper sanding methods, loose structural pieces, and other gouges of unknown origin.

- They shipped extra stain twice, and both times it spilled all over the delivery box. I had to clean the swing's hardware with mineral spirits because of this.

- The customer service is very unprofessional. Calls go to voicemail, and they don't respond to calls or texts. I even received an "accidental" reply from *** (customer service rep) meant for the owners of Magnolia. She said, "I had worn her out from the beginning" and blamed her mistake on other customers.

I tried to give Magnolia the benefit of the doubt, but this whole experience has become ridiculous. Paying almost $5k for a porch swing and having this kind of experience should be embarrassing for Magnolia.
