Coggin Toyota at the Avenues

Seamless car buying experience. Jim M was professional, patient, and knowledgeable. I stopped by last night, 9/10, for service on my 2017 Tacoma (which I bought from Jim) and we started talking about a 4Runner. It was late and I needed to go, so I asked Jim to run the numbers and text me. We communicated later that night and I bought the next morning. Arrived at the dealership around 10:30 am and was done by 12:30 - 1 including test drive, detail, programming my phone, garage door opener, four-wheel drive, and all the other features. I have had opportunities to buy elsewhere and sometimes for a better price but Jim and the crew in your service department keeps me coming back to Coggin at the Avenues. I have driven out of Coggins parking lot with three new cars in the last four years and always felt good about the experience. Thank you.

I went to Coggin Toyota at the Avenues to buy a car. The salesperson informed me that the monthly price would be a certain amount. However, when I spoke to the finance representative, he told me it would be a 72-month plan, which was more than what I was initially told. I was about to leave when he offered to include a warranty for the car. I agreed and started walking towards the exit. Later, when I received my loan paperwork, I noticed that the amount was $2,000 more than what he had mentioned. I directly asked him if the financing amount would be $12,500, and he confirmed, but the loan papers showed it to be over $14,500.

I ain't one to make a big deal 'bout waitin' or askin' for the manager. It ain't in my nature to cause a scene but I just couldn't believe what happened to me today. I went to Coggins Toyota dealership to get my oil changed. First time there. The slimy guy recommended a tire rotation so I said yes. Then he said I need a new filter and some other services. I assumed it wouldn't be a crazy amount for what seemed real minor. (my car only got 40K miles, perfectly fine) I was never told 'bout the prices of these extra services I didn't come in for. They didn't get my informed consent. They took advantage of me 'cause I'm a young girl in a f*** dealership. I never felt more dumb. Fooled by folks who only care 'bout makin' their monthly quotas. No other Toyota dealership ever done this to me. I learned my lesson. (Oh yeah, my bill was $540 after waitin' 4 hours. I even had an appointment) Services were oil change, tire rotation and alignment, filter replacement, injector cleanin'.
