BMW of North America Bmw recall

I'm a loyal bmw owner, I've owned 6 and this will be my last. I brought my bmw to bmw of Omaha. With 1 issue, the blower fan wires started on fire in my E90 with 123k on it . They had a bmw inspector come out to inspect it, their findings were after market window tint, miss matched tires, intake upgrade ect. Saying these caused the issue after having my car for 2.5 months. When I took it into them nothing was wrong with my car besides the blower motor fire issue. The bmw inspector cut my power wire going to my fuse box while it was live ARCHING on power wire in picture shows it was live when it was cut. They replaced the power cable after I seen the damage they caused and that was it.

I picked up my car [protected], Now it's all these issues

Headlights stay on don't shut off 60 min .

Blower fan doesn't work after recall WAS SUPPOSEDLY COMPLETED- Nick TOOK OUT BLOWER FAN TO SEE WHY IT WASNT WORKING ! (BMW service manager ) and refused to fix.

Gas gauge don't work

Passenger front & both rear windows don't role down.

Wipers are malfunctioning

Broke clips on dash piece where cup holders are.

Nick also admitted on audio recording that fire from blower motor caused damage that bmw would not fix or replace.

FRM MODULE MALFUNCTIONING

Fuel sending unit malfunctioning

KNOWING WITH ALL THESE ISSUES BMW WILL NOT BOTHER COVERING THIER ISSUES CAUSED BY THE RECALL & BMW INSPECTOR!

TOLD me they'll give me $2500 for a newer BMW certified purchase.

Bmw does not care about it's loyal customers. Closest dealer is 98 miles away

BMW of North America BMW X1 Nightmare: Timing Chain Failure & Class Action Lawsuit - Desperate for Assistance!

Just bought a BMW X1 with 45,000 miles and guess what? The timing chain went kaput! Can you believe it? Turns out, this car was involved in some fancy class action lawsuit. Now, I'm stuck in a pickle and BMW ain't lending a helping hand. I'm in dire straits here, folks, and I'm crossing my fingers that someone out there can lend me a hand. Help a brother out, will ya?

BMW of North America Terrible Support and Price Gouging: My Experience with BMW of North America

I gotta tell ya, my experience with BMW of North America and their support for my 1984-91 BMW 524td engine was just plain awful. I mean, seriously, it was like they had no clue this engine even existed! Trying to find parts was like embarking on a worldwide internet scavenger hunt because the dealers here in the good ol' USA were absolutely useless.

And let me tell ya, BMW loves to play games with their part numbers. They change 'em up all the time, but good luck tryin' to find any sort of reference to track 'em down. It's like they want you to suffer! So, I took matters into my own hands and reached out to none other than BMW's big shot CHAIRMAN, Harald Kruger. I shot him a note that probably knocked him right outta his fancy chair.

Lo and behold, things started happenin'! Suddenly, BMW miraculously found those "unobtainable" and "extinct" parts I needed. But here's the kicker, my friend. They not only found 'em, but they also decided to jack up the price to double what they had originally advertised. Can you believe that? They changed the part number and then had the audacity to double the price!

Let me tell ya, I feel like I got the short end of the stick here. I ain't never gonna waste another penny on BMW, and I strongly suggest you do the same. Trust me, there are plenty of other car brands out there that actually give a darn about their customers. So, save yourself the headache and steer clear of BMW. You'll thank me later.

BMW of North America BMW's Negligence: Coolant Breakdown and Lack of Warranty Reimbursement

Has anyone received a letter about their car's coolant breaking? I had a lease and then bought the car, but there was no warranty with BMW. So, in June 2022, my coolant broke and I got it fixed. I didn't know that it had to be fixed through BMW, and now I just received this letter. How was I supposed to know to take it to BMW? Also, why is a $50,000 car breaking at any point in time? They knew about this issue since February 2022, and now I get a notice and had to get my car fixed because I didn't go to BMW. They refuse to reimburse me. This company is terrible. They only care about themselves and not the loyal customers who get screwed because they don't know how to make a car correctly. It feels like a total scam. It seems like they intentionally don't send letters to people who don't have a warranty and haven't gone to BMW for service. I'll be checking with everyone about this, and I will never buy another BMW again!

BMW of North America Disappointing Experience at Modesto BMW: Window Regulator Breaks After Repairs

I'm really disappointed with my recent experience at Modesto BMW. I brought my BMW in to get two recalls fixed, as well as to have the oil changed and the door locks checked. The door locks were giving me trouble, as they weren't functioning properly and I was getting locked inside my car. This was a major concern for me because if I ever got into an accident, I wouldn't be able to get out of my car.

I left my car at the dealership for the repairs, making sure to close all the windows. However, when I picked up my car, I noticed that the back driver's side window was partially rolled down about two inches. I tried to roll it back up, but it wouldn't budge. I pressed the button again, hoping it would go up, but instead, the window rolled all the way down and now it's stuck in that position. I immediately called the dealership and left a voicemail explaining the situation.

Today, I finally received a call back from them. They basically told me to bring the car back in because it seems like the window regulator broke. So now, on top of the over $1,000 I just paid for the repairs, I have to deal with another expense. It's frustrating because when I initially brought the car in, the window was working fine and rolled up. But now, I got my car back with a cracked window and the other three windows were rolled up. It feels like such a waste of money.

I just want to warn others to be cautious when picking up their cars from the service department. In my case, I ended up with more issues than I had when I brought it in. It's really frustrating and disappointing.

BMW of North America Terrible Service and Lack of Communication at BMW of Little Rock - Avoid at All Costs!

I gotta be honest, I ain't got nothin' good to say 'bout BMW of North America. I've been waitin' for a call back for two whole weeks now, and still nothin'. Supposedly, they got a five-day callback policy, but I guess that don't apply to me. Ain't heard a peep from 'em!

The service department at BMW of Little Rock is a real mess. They don't know how to fix cars properly or give ya the real scoop on what's wrong. They don't even bother sharin' important info 'bout the vehicles or their policies. I mean, come on! They should know better. There's this Service Bulletin S1 B11 02 21 that they should've been aware of, but nope, they didn't bother.

Let me tell ya, if you're thinkin' 'bout buyin' a 2013 BMW X-3 and expectin' decent service, think again. We took our car in for a checkup just nine days after we bought it from another dealership 'cause the drivetrain malfunction light came on. On July 9, 2021, they ran some tests and told us to bring it back if the light came back on. But they didn't bother mentionin' that there were known issues with the engine that could totally mess up the car. If they had, we could've fixed it for 'round $1000, includin' $530 for the part and $470 for labor. But no, they didn't say nothin'. Then, on July 30, 2021, we had to fork over $4100 to get it fixed 'cause the light came back on. And they had the car for a whole week 'cause it was makin' some weird noise. Can't believe the hassle we had to go through.

But wait, there's more! Within just nine months, on May 28, 2022, the oil power drive decided to quit on us while we were cruisin' at 75mph on the interstate. And guess what? The engine seized up right then and there. Turns out, this was another known problem that they were aware of. Now our car is a total loss. Can ya believe it?

When I asked the service advisor 'bout the class action suit, he had the nerve to tell me we missed the cutoff date at the end of May 2022. But get this, we called 'em on May 28, and they didn't even bother callin' us back. I had to keep ringin' 'em up just to talk to a real person. And when I mentioned that this was a known issue with the model, the service advisor had the audacity to say, "it would be a disservice to the dealership if I told every 2013 X-3 driver in Little Rock about this." Can ya believe the nerve?

On July 6, I called 'em up and spoke to Jack. He said he'd let Dylan and his boss know that I expected a call back. Well, it's been a while, and still nothin'. They ain't returned any of my subsequent calls either. We finally gave up and cut our losses. Ended up buyin' another car after a whole month of tryin' to deal with these folks. Can't say I recommend 'em to anyone.
