I spent over *** dollars at Ride and Drive, LLC. I bought my 3rd car from them after my second one stopped working. They gave me a swap out car on June 17th at ***pm. The car had body damage when I got it. A sales person named Ryan can confirm the damage. We both signed paperwork. I paid an extra $*** in cash and continued making my regular payments. On August 5th at ***pm, my car was repossessed without any warning. They didn't contact me at all. It wasn't because of payment, but because of insurance. I have proof that I had insurance the whole time, but the company didn't care. They even tried to charge me for the damage the car had when it was on their lot. They also tried to call my insurance and make a claim without telling me. The woman laughed at me and said "ok" when I told her they got everything wrong. Now I'm waiting to hear back from their manager.

They said because I called the ComplaintsBoard.com of Nashville, that's why my car isn't fixed, and this has been going on since May . I wasn't nice on the phone because they weren't nice with me. I've been having problems with this car since May 2. I pay on time and I pay my insurance on time just to sit out my window and look at an unsafe car for my kids. So today, I got mad and I called down there. I have a high-pitched voice, so everyone thinks I'm mean. NOT! Well, I had the guy manager on the phone, and I had him on speaker so I could have someone hear all the lies. I don't know if *** was a manager or not, but he said the only reason we're not fixing your car is because you wrote the ComplaintsBoard.com of Nashville and you have an attitude. So the stuff they're telling y'all is BS. Tennessee needs a lemon law. I didn't get to do a test drive or anything. Look at the video the day I got my car. So you mean to tell me if you write the ComplaintsBoard.com, they don't care for you as a customer? I'm going to do everything in my power to shout them down, and my friend is ready to tell what was told to me.

On 4//2020, I got my car and the check engine light came on. It kept stopping in the middle of the road, almost causing accidents with me and my kids several times. Since 4/29, the check engine light has been on. The following Monday, I spoke to *** and he told me to come to Ride and Drive to see if the issue was their responsibility or mine. So, I went there and he plugged something into my car and told me to go to another location to see Boot. My son and I went to see Boot, and he said that I needed the check engine light to be on before setting up an appointment. Well, *** turned off the check engine light with the device he plugged into my car. I said, "OK, I'll just drive it until the light comes back on." However, on 7/4, I still couldn't get the light to come on, and my car kept stalling and shutting down in the middle of the road with my kids inside. I spoke to *** and she told me to go to TN Muffler. After three days of playing phone tag with them and Ride and Drive, I took it to TN Muffler. They said I needed a fuel pump that would cost $800 and something. I called Ride and Drive back and *** and *** and *** were so rude. They claimed that I never mentioned anything to them about the issue and that they weren't going to repair it because it was after *** days. However, Boot and *** knew about this car cutting off on me and my kids, almost causing accidents. No one mentioned that I had to pay TN Muffler $50 out of my pocket just for them to look at it, even though Ride and Drive sent me there. To this day, they have been rude and nasty over the phone. They flat out tell you that it's not their fault because you bought a used car. But *** knows that I had this problem within the first four days of having the truck, and it's still under *** lemon law. I wish they would act like humans and at least not be rude and condescending all the time. They should be obligated to fix this issue and stop mistreating people and lying in the notes they put in the computer to make it seem like they never discussed the problem with your car within the *** days you've had it.
