I have been purchasing "Clarks" shoes for 15 + years (I'm guessing approximately 19 pair of Clarks) & have always been "totally" satisified..within the last year, I purchased a pair of black slip in shoes..style # 35281. Within 6 months, the stitching around the sole started to come unstitched & then the sole "split across the entire bottom of the shoe"..I took them back to the store & was told I needed to make my complaint online..I totally understand that, but with ALL the many pairs of Clarks I purchased there, I would have thought they could have done something to replace them. The clerk is most typically the one that waits on me everytime, so it's not as though they don't know me. As a consumer, I only hope that YOU can do something to help me replace the shoes that I love to wear. This is the first time I have ever made a complaint to this degree & I feel uncomfortable doing so, but I am quite certain that you don't want to lose me as a customer..Thank you very much for your time & I hope I hear from you soon..Pat Alvarez
