I logged a call on Tuesday morning at 08:30 (03/02/2026) and was given a REF nr
@14: 14 when I called to check the status, I was told that the call is not assigned and will be assigned after 6 hours and I shouldn't stress as the call will be sorted before the end of the day.
@18:10 when I got home i discover that i am still not sorted. I called again to find out what the issue is and only to be told that the call is still not assigned and the turnaround time is 24hrs for the call to be assigned.
Now you wonder if the call centre even knows what the turnaround time is, I mean from 6hrs to know 24hrs.
on the 04/02/2026 I called again around 10am and the guy tells me he is going to escalate the call as its not assigned and i must call back after 4 hours and he will do his level best to ensure that I will be sorted. I called at 16H00 and the very same guy answered who told me to call back after 4 hrs was on the line. He told me the call is still not assigned.
05/02/2025 at 10:30 as I am venting, still not sorted, call still not assigned, the call centre is not answering my calls. I hold to over 30 minutes until I reach number one for the call to cut.
Is there a point of paying for services and be treated like you not? My wish is to never ever have a problem were i will have to ask assistance from City Power ever.
