Chipotle Mexican Grill complaint about chicken bowl with chicken & chorizo

My daughter and and I stopped at chipotle to purchase a chorizo and chicken bowl and a chorizo and chicken burrito to go.

When we got home my daughter opened her chipotle bowl and as she started to mix and eat from the bowl, she started to pull hair from the bowl; at least 4 to 5 hairs from the bowl. I called the store to let them know what happened, the lady I talked to said she will talk to manager to get a better hair net policy.

We returned to the store to show them the hair and the manager responded oh that's not hair that's something else. Well, whatever it was it should not have been in the food,

As for me and my family, we will never go back to Chipotle nor will I refer anyone.

Chipotle Mexican Grill stale chips and cold food

I placed a mobile order today to pick up at 1:00pm est at the location 6901 rockside road independence ohio 44131 phone number 216.986.0551 .I arrived at 1:05pm est to find that my order was missing my chips from the chips and guacamole . Once I received them I left the location. Upon arriving to my job which is 5 minutes away I began to eat that when I noticed my food was cold and the chips were hard and stale.i was unable to go back and return the food due to me being on my lunch break. I also tried contacting the location by phone to have no one answer

Chipotle Mexican Grill customer service

I am a government county employee and we received and email from management that a particular chipotle location offered a promotion to county employee .( buy one get one free). Since the store that offered the promotion is 17 miles away from my work, I decided to print out the flyers and stopped by at the chipotle near me the address is 2200 s. grove ave. Ontario ca. 91761. I got to the counter and asked the kid at the counter if they offer county employee discount. She then asked her supervisor and she said no. I told her that I have a flyer from other location that offer the promotion. She took the flyer and showed it to the supervisor. After reading it she said that they could honor it this time. I then placed my orde of two bowls and two burrito. I got to the register, supervisor read the flyers again and said she could honor only this time. The other lady rang me up and as got my receipt notice that she did not give me the promotion that said she would honor twice. She told me after I payed that she can't honor it because it is from another office. I then reminded her that I asked before i order it it was okay and she said okay twice. Not only I was embarrass for being duped and lied to, she then rudely told me that she refund me the money and then go to the store that offer the promotion which is 34 miles from home. I was so mad that I would have had taken the refund and chipotle would have waste 34 dollars worth food if it weren't for me bringing dinner for a friend who is ill. I asked the supervisor for corporate number and rudely told me to look it up. I asked for her name and she pointed to her business card. Did not even hand it to me. Sandra Vitela is her name. She was rude and not very honorable supervisor who said twice that she would honor the promotion but did not. I would have been okay if she was upfront with me from the beginning. On top of it all I called the customer service in Denver and spoke with someone and was told that she did not want to listen to my complaints and I have to write on their web page. So here I am. I thought that after all the company's controversy and here I am trying to give this restaurant a chance that they would have excellent customer service. Unfortunately for I was lied to and treated poorly by Sandra Vitela. This incident happened on 7/19/17.

Chipotle Mexican Grill manager refused to sell ordered food & display of power trip

When: July 19, 2017 at around 9:35 PM PDT
Where: Chipotle @ 1586 Gateway Blvd, Fairfield, CA 94533

To Whom It May Concern:

The manager's name is Gilberto Sanchez.

While ordering food at this Chipotle, I asked the server what type of meat was in one of the container, pointing to that direction. In the process I grazed the top of the glass separating the counter. I did not lean on the glass nor touched the glass. Out of the blue, Gilberto Sanchez yelled and said, " You cannot touch the glass!" in a snappy, loud voice. Admittedly, in reaction to that, I flipped the finger. I was hungry.

Then he grabbed the food and put it aside, mumbling. I asked him to come over to chat. I did apologized for my reaction, but I thought he could not just yell at people. The correct approach would have been to explain to me what I did wrong. I explained to him that his view was obscured -- I really did not touch the glass. But he said, for giving him the finger, he would not sell me the food.

As I said, admittedly, I reacted poorly, but this manager clearly is on a power trip!

If you asked the folks working during the time frame I had mention, they would corroborate my story.

Resolution: I believe this manager has to be reprimanded for excessive self-aggrandizing behavior or reward if you are condoning that type of behavior for your store managers.

Chipotle Mexican Grill the service at chipotle

I stopped in Chipotle today Wednesday, July 19, 2017 located at 2301 Georgia Ave NW Washington, DC 20059. Order #399 @ 5:01pm...Host: Kanielle. I ordered a chicken bowl @ $7.28. I asked for three salad dressings which I was charged $1.14 for. When did you all start charging for the salad dressing? Once I got home & open my bag two of the salad dressings containers were empty. They both leaked out into the bag. Not only was I charged for something extra that I shouldn't have been but I couldn't even use it.

Chipotle Mexican Grill food unethical preparation

Dear Whomever:

Please let this letter serve as my formal demand for compensation in the above-referenced claim. As you are aware, I am currently not represented by an attorney. My continuing hope is to avoid litigation by bringing this matter to a prompt and amicable resolution.

So that you are aware, I Stephanie Stewart was injured on July 18, 2017, when eating at your Calabasas Chipotle locations. After finishing my chicken bowl meal I was unaware that a foreign object had lodged into the back of my throat. I began feeling something and at the time thought it was just a piece of food because the chicken was dry. About 10 minutes later, I was able to feel with my finger that there was something punctured in my throat and would not come out. My throat began to swell and bleed towards the back. I have pictures documenting what was causing my discomfort.
I immediately began to panic and could not stay at my work. I headed straight for an urgent care facility where after 3 excruciating hours, I finally was able to have the doctor remove the foreign object. As a direct and proximate result of this issue and Chipotle’s negligence, I incurred medical bills, out-of-pocket expenses, lost wages, severe discomfort, anxiety, and pain and suffering.
I want to make clear from the outset I never asked for any of this to happen. Since the injury I have not been able to eat at restaurants without fear that something will get caught in my throat and re-injure me.
I am a victim of your company’s negligence and food preparation. I feel that Chipotle is personally liable for the negligent actions of one of their locations.

FACTUAL SUMMARY

On July 18, 2017, at approximately 11:45 a.m., I order to go at your Calabasas restaurant at 26791 Agora Road, in Calabasas, CA. I ordered the chicken bowl only. After completeing my meal I began to feel something in my throat. I thought that because the chicken was a little dry, perhaps it was just some food stuck in my mouth.
After finishing my meal and returning back to my work place, the discomfort became more and more noticeable. While in my office, I reached my finger to the back of my throat and could feel a foreign object lodged just under my tongue. I immediately began to panic as this was very tramatic and unsettling. I immediately left my work and proceeded to an Urgent Care facility.

INJURIES, TREATMENT AND RECOVERY
After explaining to the Urgent Care what had transpired, they suggested I go immediately to the ER. However, I was not able to afford an ER visit so I pleaded with them to see if they could have their doctors look first before needing to go into the ER.

I was still quite upset, anxious, and in great discomfort. After 3 hours at Kaisers Urgent Care, I was finally shown to Dr. Warden who specializes in ear, nose and throat issues. He sprayed a chemical to numb my throat which also gave me immediate anxiety because I felt I could not breathe, but fortunately, he was able to remove the foreign object.

He could not confirm what it was but believed it was not a bone from a chicken. He thought perhaps a fish but we are not clear what the object was. I have also attached pictures of what now looks like a piece of a wood splinter after it was taken out.

After paying my co-payments and heading home I finally had some relief after all these hours. However, that night I had prepared my own dinner. When I began to eat I became very anxious and could not eat without first examining each bite and I was not even eating solid foods. I began to have a panic attack and because of this, I now contacted the medical after hours on call unit to speak with therapist to see what I can do about this anxiety.

Chipotle Mexican Grill marlborough ma location

I have been coming to chipotle since the beginning. I like there food concept etc. however it seems over the years they have grown and that has hindered the ability to keep up with it. I want to have lunch today though there are a few of the employees who have been here awhile again a whole new staff. The workers sloppy dirty on appearance and obviously not interested in taking any pride in their work, mow as for the good etc u wonder why people are getting sick no gloves hair hanging down dirty clothes are one thing but ... dirty counters, the food debris while serving, no gloves, no hand washing, employees eating while working then serving, taking temp of food without cleaning thermometer wiping it on there gloves, And the dirty tables, floors
Etc etc i. Come on chipotle train them and pay them practice what u started out doing good healthy sustainable now I are a fake seems all I care about is the popularity your growth and profits shame on u and your owners . Over years I have watched the workers, Trevor is the only person that works hard to maintain a high standard to run this location but one person alone can't do it all maybe u should let him move up and return the place to a better standard .

Chipotle Mexican Grill straws

We love Chipolte, eat it every week after our swim but why oh why must we contend with these short straws? Your competition has longer ones for large drinks. Please consider adding this simple request so we can quit looking ridiculous. See photo. 😊
We live in an upscale community and one of our anchor companies is Pebble Beach Co. You may know this place, golf, Clint Eastwood, etc. Their company motto is "Exceed the expectations for every customer" -focused attention on the customer, I like it. So, longer straws please.

Chipotle Mexican Grill burrito bowl

I asked for more rice in my bowl the throw the rice on it because I guess either they was having a bad day or because I asked then when I asked for sour cream it was runny more looking like milk . It was only a little left in the bowl the server was scraping it out the bowl . Okay then when the person I was with asked for some she was still trying to get more out where's I had to ask th m to get more only with giving me attitude. I'm think of not going back to that location or suggest anyone to.

Chipotle Mexican Grill take go 3 orders of soft tacos

I ask for 3 orders to go the persons gave me 3 packages formed a mass with chicken, beens, or steak beens guacamole cheese so as u know id you served soft tacos to go is easi to be a big mess why you guys dont start to use plastic plates to orders to go instead a small piece of foil its not ok im went to spend 30.00 dollars in that messi carry out food just for throw it a way because no bidy in my house want it to eatit loock nasty i mean not good

Chipotle Mexican Grill burrito

I went to chipotle today and as I was line I realized everyone inline serving food was rushin because they were kind of getting busy. When it was my turn I ordered my burrito with white rice black beans and steak there like anything else. So I ordered for my wife which she wanted a burrito bowl with lettuce in the bottom white rice black beans and with barbacoa ect ect. As I was paying I realized they put a c on my steak burrito and I never thought the actual burrito has chicken in it till I started eating it. When I took the first bite I realized it was chicken inside instead of steak. It kind of bugged me I wanted to ask for a refund but I saw they they were busy so didnt bother.. As I was eating my burrito I see a hair half ways through it! I grossed me out so I told my wife what do I do she said take a picture and tell them. I got up walked over to tell them and a guy was at the cashier spot and I told him excuse me umm I just ordered food and I realized I have a hair in it. And he simply said ok what do you want me to do? Wanna speak to a manager? I looked at my wife and said really instead of them saying oh no worries ill get you a new one he said what do you want me to do. So I said you know what not to be rude but you guys should keep your guys area more clean. I remember working for chipotle and it was never as disoriented as it is now. Im completely dissapointed.

Chipotle Mexican Grill ordered online, went to pick up, nothing was right and the staff was not helpful.

I went in the store at 1439 pacific coast highway in hermosa beach to pick up two burritos I had ordered online. Once I arrived at the chipotle and told them I had ordered online for pickup. The gentleman at the register looked around and disappear red in to the back for a while. When he reappeared he said that they had been having trouble with online orders and they do not have my order. The gentleman then went to get a manager. I explained the situation again and he looked at me and said "what do you want me to do? A curious way to interact with a patron. I confirmed that he was a manager. He said he was a service manager who had been with the company 6years. Yet, he did not have a business card and would not provide me with the corporate number for chipotle. He said I just need to look it up online... Ridiculous!
He picked up a card belonging to josue prado and scribbled his name on the card while crossing out josue's. His writing was so illegible I had to ask him to write his name just to be readible again, it is alexandro azpeitia.

At this point I just wanted to get my burritos for me and my son. I asked alexandro if we can do that. He pointed at the inordinately long line that had formed inside the store and suggested I go wait in line. I pointed out that I had expected the food to be ready when I walked in and asked if he would be willing to expedite the order. He was not willing to do so and if I want food I need to get in line. I was appalled! I then asked him if I could get some kind of discount because of the mixup... And he just flatly said no. With absolutely no apologies for a system that was malfunctioning I only receive terse and dismissive directions without a hint of care from this gentleman.
This chipotle is 3 blocks from where I live and I often go there. I can't remember that I have had any issues there before.

Your manager needs to handle problems... He is a manager. A person in that position must have superior skills in. Dealing with the public as well.

I left there with no food and a really bad taste in my mouth from my experience. Don't know if I want to risk dealing with that again

Chipotle Mexican Grill I got charged double for my salad.

To whom it may concern,

On Monday July 10th I went to lunch with my friend at chipotle on bald hill road with warwick Rhode Island. I ordered a salad with just vegetables pico de gallo salsa and corn. When I was ordering my friend had to wait for more chicken to be cooked so I ended up paying before her. When I got to the register they asked me if I wanted anything else and I said no. They told me my total was $7.30. I inserted my card and paid. when I friend got to the front they said she was covered because she had to wait longer for her food. It was extremely nice! However, this morning I looked at my bank account and found out that I was charged double. I got charged $14.69. I am a recent graduate school graduate with very little income. This amount of money is valuable to me. It upsets me that I was actually charged more than I was told. Due to this inconvenience I would appreciate it if I could get compensated for this mistake on chipotles behalf.

Chipotle Mexican Grill customer service

Good Morning.

My name is Sabria Hipps and I am writing to complain about one of your locations at Rhode Island Ave NE in Washington DC. Every time I come to this location your employees are never smiling, they don't welcome you or greet you and they always have an attitude. They are just very rude, yesterday 7/9/17 I went inside the chipotle to order my food the guy who was making my bowl was very rude didn't greet me as a customer didn't even ask what I wanted I just began telling him I want the tortilla inside the bowl, I asked for brown rice, he gave me two scoops of rice I asked for a extra scoop of rice he literally put four kernels of rice in my bowl and I felt that he tried to be smart so I ignored it. Then he was reaching over all the food when you're supposed to walk around to get the next food item but no he was just reaching over it which one of his co workers had to approach him about. I then went to pay for my food and it came up to 12.75 I asked the cashier why is my food 12.75 she said because the guy who made the bowl said I got extra steak when I clearly got extra chicken, she then asked him why did you tell me she got extra steak, I'm guessing he thought I was just gonna let that fly by like I don't know how much it's really supposed to be. I just hate the customer service at this location, a few weeks ago one of the workers were making fun of a homeless guy who came in there I just thought that was very mean and rude. The workers at this location are rude and mean. If they don't like their job they need to find a better one.

Chipotle Mexican Grill charged extra and items missing

I went to the store on University Ave, Little Rock on 7/7 to order tacos and a chicken bean buritto with Chips and Salsa. Staff in the register charged for Steak eventhough its written as Chicken. I asked for a manager to refund. Register staff came and told that i would have to wait till the line is gone. I waited for few mins and promised that i would never return to Chipotle for the behavior thats not caused by me. Also when i got home Salsa was missing. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company, but i wanted to know the corporate that hiring people like this will leave a bad customer experience and thats not good for the company or the customer.

Chipotle Mexican Grill chicken plate w/pinto beans, sour cream, cheese, lettuce,

Chipotle in hurst texas. I went today sunday july 9th. With my family To get some lunch around 1:35 pm. For me i order a plate with pinto beans, white rice, chicken, corn, sour cream, mild sauce, and lettuce. I ate it all it was delicious. But 2 hours later my face started to itch and got a rash. I know it was these food because i did not have nothing for breackfast until that time. So i will not eat here no more food is good but is just my body rejected something. So i dont trust it anymore.

Chipotle Mexican Grill sour cream

My family and I went to the Chipotle in La Plata, MD for our normal order and the sour cream appeared as though it was simply milk. I was asked by the food preparer if I wanted my sour cream watery. I was confused. She said this is how all the Chipotle sour cream appears, that is completely untrue! I asked her if there was an issue today? She told me that this is just how it looks and she doesn't like sour cream. Overall the food was just bad, the chicken was tasteless.

Chipotle Mexican Grill bugs in food

Hello,

I have just opened a Chipotle chicken and chorizo salad from Jersey City Mall to find a bug in it for the third time in two weeks. I have attached a photo for your reference. This is absolutely disgusting and demonstrates a poor standard of food quality from a company that has already been in trouble for this already. I am deeply disappointed in my experience and will not be able to eat a second salad due to the poor standards at Chipotle.

Chipotle Mexican Grill stone found in black beans/damaged tooth

Vancouver BC, Robson St. location, Friday June 23, 2017 6:30 pm had a barbacoa bowl with black beans. Bit hard on a stone in my meal. Spit it out in 3 parts. Reported to staff and asked to speak with manager but was met by another staff member who took my name and number, then replaced my meal from the same bean tray originally served from (oddly, they were not alarmed enough to change it).
Then another staff member came to fill out a questionnaire at my table (I was with my husband). Told you would contact me, no word.
I called the Vancouver Robson Street location to follow up on July 7, 2017 and I was told they would call me. I mentioned I now had paid$392 to get my chipped tooth fixed.
Can some one please reach out and resolve this with me? I would like my dental bill paid.

Chipotle Mexican Grill burnt chicken

okay so i went to chipotle with my friend, who just so happened to be trying it for the first time, and when we ate our food the chicken was completely burnt. keep in mind we took it to go and we werent gonna go back to the restaurant just to be rude and complain. bad first impression. employees should know better than to serve costumers burnt chicken from the bottom of the bucket, they should refill it fresh first. wouldn't be as much of a hassle that way.
