Chevrolet non — receipt of smart card / blue book

After my complain by email on saturday, 26.5.12, to Chevrolet, gurgaon, about non-receipt of smart card / blue book, from the dealer, Dulichand Motors, , a call was given to me. The car registration department people of dulichand motors, EM BYPASS, Kolkata, asked me to enquire about the delivery of smart card/ blue book from the nearest Post Office.

I also received a call from the Chevrolet, Gurgaon Office, asking do the same thing.
After enquiring about the smart card / blue book from the nearest post office, it was told to me, till Tuesday, 29.5.12, they have not received any smart card / blue book in my name.

My chevrolet beat car no. was fitted on 31.3.12, saturday.

Today, it is 30.5.12, Wednesday, almost two months are over .
Till now, i have not received my smart card .

I have one more car, thats Maruti Suzuki, Wagon R, but from them i didnot get this trouble.
Was this a mistake to buy a car from a renowned company like Chevrolet, thats why so much trouble.

On 10.3.12, the chevrolet beat was delivered by Dulichand Motors, EM BYPASS to me, Ronita Ghosh .
But the problem is that, till now i have not received the smart card /blue book for my car chevrolet beat, (WB 24R 4480).

Many times i called up the dealer, Dulichand Motors, but they didnot respond to my problem.

Chevrolet chevorlet cruze

The doors are terrible, they are so light they do not stay open and they fall in on you right away. Going down a snowy road at 40 mph in a straight line the car started sweerving, with no breaks applied. It takes a very long time for the heat to make the car warm and you have to leave it on defrost at all times otherwise the windows become soild fog on the windows. When driving the Cruze you can feel every gear shift everytime, no matter how fast or slow you are accelerating. The lever to lean back the seats is very high up on the seat and inconvenient, none of my passengers can ever find it.

Chevrolet electrical wiring defect

Our 2005 Chevy AVEO began having problems with lighting; dashlights went out, front right signal light went out, righ rear stoplight went out. All of the fuses/bulbs were OK. Dealer investigated and said the fuse/splice block in the engine compartment had overheated and the wires burnt, and estimated $2800 dollars to repair. They said it would take 3-4 days. It is now 3 weeks later and the car is still not repaired. They first recieved the wrong part, then the part they received was missing components, then the replacement wireloom didn't have all the connectors on it, now awaiting the replacement for the replacement. Meanwhile, the car we had to rent for "3-4 days" is now going into its 4th week$$$$$$$$. My research indicates this electrical splice block problem is a frequent occurrence on AVEO and I believe it was faulty engineering, faulty manufacture, and should have been a recall by GM. I wonder how many AVEOs have burned up? This will be the last GM product I ever buy.

Chevrolet fraudulent return of deposit for car after deal fell through

Never ever buy a car from Chevrolet Buick of Quincy in Quincy Florida.. I put down a $500 deposit on a car I found on the internet that was at another dealership this company is part of, for them to have it transported up to me...they checked, car was available so they said they would have it here in a few days..a week later I had not heard from them so I called them.. they said car had been sold out from under me..I said ok I will be there tomorrow to pick up the ck i gave u for deposit..they said ok...I get there the next day and am told they deposited my ck yesterday..which hit me wrong to start with...why deposit ck after deal had fell through..anyway i was told i would have to wait for ck to clear or stop payment on ck to get my money back ..so i waited and waited..after 2 wks i decided to stop payment..then a wk later i get my ck in the mail..it had never been deposited..they lied to me and kept my ck for no reason..deal was over..all they had to do was give me my ck back.. but they chose to fraud and decieve me ..it cost me 25$ for no reason to stop payment on that ck..this is the most dishonest dealership ive ever seen.. filed a complaint with the BBB they lied to them too..said they would give me my money back.. they never have though.. just lied..

Chevrolet &faulty glass&

While warming up my car to take my 5 year old son to school one chilly morning, my rear windshield just shattered and fell out. There were no cracks, no "dings", and no reason that should have occured. My 5 year old son was in the car and thank God that he wasn't cut when the glass went all over the place. I called the police out to investigate and he said that it could have been a maufacturer defect with the glass because it doesn't look as if someone tried to break in, so I checked online to see if there was some type of recall for the "faulty glass" but couldn't any but I did find another complaint where this happened to another HHR owner. You would think that a company like Chevrolet, would take more time to make sure that they are producing good quality products...think that they would take more pride in there work, since they are "The Heartbeat of America"...

Something needs to be done about this because as I stated above this has happened to other customers and why Chevrolet doesn't feel that they should be held accountable is unexceptable.

I just called the number and Chevy disconnected it. I have a 2008 HHR and was happy until a couple of days ago on I10 between just east of Baytown with little traffic and 60 or so temps and the rear window exploded. I got off the road really shaken thinking someone have shot at me or something. But nothing. I decided to look online before called my insurance company. I will post on FB about Chevy. Does anyone know if this is covered by most insurance liability or what this sort of thing comes under?

I have a 2009 HHR LT had the back privacy glass explode this summer for no reason and today i warmed the car up via Remote Start did NOT have the rear Defrost on as it is in a carport got it and shut the door not hard at all and the whole back hatch window blew out ? Seriously Called GM to Complain and Check for Recall told them that its all over the internet they need to be checking into it getting way to costly to be putting glass in this thing at this rate.. Everyone should call them and complain they want your Mileage and VIN number when you call the more of us that call maybe they will check into it.. its crappy and they have to know it...[protected]

I left a restaurant last night about 9:30. I got into my 2009 HHR PANEL, closed the door then started it. I put on my seat belt. Just as I was about to put it in gear, The passenger window simply EXPLODED!

I thought I had been shot but there was no bullet or even a rock. It was about 50 degrees so I hadn't even turned on the heater. The entire window was shattered uniformly even down into the door. Naturally most of the glass went inside the car too.

No explanation other than that's just the way Ralph's life goes.

I just had this happen over the weekend and decided to look for some similar stories on the internet. I can't believe it has happened to other people with the same car. How crazy is this? And yet Chevy is assuming no responsibility or liability? That's terrible. I did take a picture but it wasn't a great one - however it did look exactly like the above picture posted by tarris77.

I was driving home from work last night when my Chevy HHR 2006 rear window blew. It scared the hell out of me. I'm making calls right now to work with the dealership and manufacturer on how best to proceed. It is unacceptable. I am sorry it has happen to us and hope there is resolve. My VW Jetta 1996 was a solid car. I had zero problems with it. It was hands down the best care I have owned. My Chevy HHR has had more problems combined than the three cars I’ve own thus far. It’s unfortunate the cost of a vehicle and they simply can’t make it correctly. Please let me know if any of you had a positive outcome getting this resolved.

I have a 2008 hhr and this very thing happened to me and my 10 years old daughter also. It was in mid January 2011 we went to the store and when we came out of the store and as i turned on the engine there was a loud popped noise like a tire blew up. I looked around and it was my hhr's rear window shattered into pieces. The glass was in good shape no crack no ding or scratch. I couldn've believe that it happened because the glass was only a few years old. so don't tell me that this is not faulty glass made by chevy and just cold and heat cause this glass to shatter cause i have cars alot older then this and the glass are just fine.

This guy is a FRAUD: JUSTICE BROWN +[protected]

He sends sms and email telling recipients they have won the JUMBO PROMOTION of 750, 000 pounds. In order to claim the money you must send an email to him

He then REQUIRES that you send 550 pounds via WESTERN UNION so that he can send the winning money to you. A SCAM.

Chevrolet engine overheated-stalling

I purchased my 2010 Equinox January 2010. As a college student, I travel many miles. In December, with 41, 000 miles on the equinox, my SUV check engine light came on, and began stalling and missing. One week later, on Dec. 9th while driving, the vehicle began making a terrible noise and completely overheated. Luckily I made it to Bob Howard Chevrolet, and left the car there for over 2 weeks. The service dept. there was friendly and sent Enterprise to pick me up. They replaced the both cam shafts and all timing components. I picked the car up on 12/27, and drove to my home town, 4 hours away. The next day, the check engine light came on, the car started missing and stalling, and "dieseling" when I turned the engine off (shuttering to a stop). After emailing GM about my complaint, they called and told me to take it to my local chevrolet service dept., Kiamichi Chevrolet. The car has been there since 12/29. I still have no rental car, they have not called to let me know the status of my car. I called today, expecting them to be almost finished with the car, and the guy tells me they ordered the wrong part, and that it would be responsibility to get in contact with a rental company, even though it is covered by GM. While dealing with this service dept as been frustrating in itself, ultimately it is the Equinox which is extremely disappointing. I haven't been able to drive my own car for over a month, and currently have had no vehicle for a week. I have talked to GM several times, and they continue to refer me to a District Specialist, which as not benefited me in the least. I regret making the pick for Equinox, obviously after only 40 k miles, and the engine has overheated, the car had major defects.

With this letter I would like to bring to your attention a problem I have been experiencing with the referred above car since I bought it from the Internacional de Vehiculos car dealer located in Bogota, Colombia. The HOLD on the referred above vehicle has been defective since I bought it and the authorized Chevrolet service dealers have been unable to repair.
Time after time I have brought the car to the service shop with the same symptom: when in travel the car´s HOLD light comes on spontaneously, it loses power, I take the car to the shop, and the same result: a fix of some kind is done and sooner or later the same problem reappears. Numerous visits to the car shop and numerous parts have been changed, from the battery to the motor´s electronic control module and no solution has been found. Now even Colmotores, the GM representative in Colombia, have turned silent to my request for a solution to this lingering problem that is causing me losing time and prevents me from using the car from the full extent.
My last attempt to contact Colmotores by e-mail on nov.24.2010 was answered but a Colmotores´ representative has got to contact me. At the date, I haven’t received any call.
I´m contacting you as my last resource to obtain a solution to my problem. General Motor should stand their product whether in the U.S.A. or Colombia.

Chevrolet bad service

I have a 2005 Cherolet Corvette that I purchased in 2007 with 13K miles. I was deployed to Iraq in 2008 and the car was garaged kept at my residence. When I returned in Dec 2008, I began having problems starting the car. I continued to get "Service Column Lock". I replaced the battery in Jan 2009. I was subsequently assigned to Atlanta, GA and deployed to Kuwait and Afghanistan. Once again, I kept the vehicle in my garage. I now have 17K miles on the vehicle. The corvette would not start at all. I took the corvette to Susan Schein Chevrolet in Alabaster, AL in June 2010. The service rep, Peggy, initially stated that it was the battery and suggested that I return the battery where I purchased it and receive a prorated amount for it. I stated that I would not do that and asked them to determine if the battery was defective and if so, they should replace it so that if there were problems in the future, I would deal with them. The next day Peggy called me and stated that the problem was determined to be the column lock module was defective. After several weeks, I still do not have my car back. It is still at the dealer awaiting the part. It has now been nearly 3 months. On September 4, 2010, I contacted Chevrolet to complain about the lack of concern with the service of my vehicle. I spoke with Brooke at the Chevrolet Complaint Department. She stated that I would receive a call within 24 hours. I waited until September 7 to call back. I was referred to the GM District Office where an agent by the name of Lizzy would be handling the case. I did not here from "Lizzy" so I called GM on September 13. I was told that my case was now being handled by Estelle and left a message on her voice mail to please return my call. I called again on September 14 and left another message to return my call. I called back to GM in an attempt to speak with someone in management and spoke with a Cust Svc Rep by the name of "Calvin". Calvin would not give me a manager and only stated that he would make sure that Estelle received my message and would return my call within 24 hours. It is now September 15 and I have yet to contacted by anyone from GM about my concerns. I will not stop contacting GM until I am able to speak to someone with responsibility enough to contact me and resolve my problem, even if it is the CEO himself...heck, President Obama if necessary, since the US Govt owns a majority of shares in GM. Just goes to show, even GM is acting like "Government Motors".

I just finished a phone call with Mansour Automotive and they informed me that the spare parts still has 2 weeks to arrive from Dubai and it will take approximately 2 weeks to fix it.

That’s means that they will deliver my car after 3 months I repeat 3 months.

I do not know how this is acceptable for you, this is very humiliating for me as a customer as I feel helpless and I feel I just have to wait.

No alternatives are offered.

I am willing to get a new one and pay for the residual with a discount, any alternative.

PLEASE HELP, this is very humiliating.

I have nothing to do, and yet nobody is responding.

And you only offered me a car for 1 week vs. 1 month.

I had a car accident and my car was sent to Al-Awad group which is a subsidiary service center of MANSOUR GROUP, which was a MONTH ago.

People at Al-Awad group are really respectable and they finished their job early and they are waiting for spare parts from Mansour which didn’t arrive till now, and no service level is provided or even a timeframe or even good feedback.

There isn’t any good communication channels between mansour call center and its service centers (ZERO KNOWLEDGE) and there isn’t any substitute car they even offered for me to be available and I am without a car since 1 month and no information is available whether I am going to wait how much time.

I called your office and your department heads responded respectfully, Mr. Tarek Spare parts manager and Mr. Nagy El Saeed Customer services manager but nothing happened.

I intend to sell the car and never buy anything related to mansour as soon as I get it because I had an accident and it will cost me around 2 months to get my car back without a sub-car and without even proper feedback.

I just need an action to be taken, because nothing is done.

NB: Mansour Tayaran Service center is a total CHAOS.

Please advice.

Chevrolet false advertising and misrepresentation

Just bought a new 2010 Aveo. When we test drove the car at the dealer they did not have any 2010 available but let us test drive a 2011 telling us that it was identical to the 2010. We bought it because we trusted the salesman (it is the 3rd car we buy from them).

When I went to pick it up and dorve it home, I turned on A/C and suddenly I had to push the gass pedal to the floor in order for the car to push forward. Panicking that there was something wrong I drove it to a garage and the mechaninc test drove it for me. He also said that it was not normal for the car to do this, it feels that it is changing gears or something. So I drove it to a Chevrolet dealer in the area where I was and the person there test drove it and also told me that it was not normal. We drove a 2011 and then mine and it was definetly not the same.

I called my dealership and told them that 2 people agreed that there was something wrong with the car and I wanted another car. Not to mention that we were promised a sun roof and the car came without the sun roof. So the salesperson compensated this by throwing in 4 new tires. (Already there it shows poor service and we should have refused, but once again we trusted this person).

They kept the car telling us that they would test it and sent us home with a rental (Which they wanted to charge us for). This morning they tell me that it is normal for this car to do this and that all 2010 models do the same thing. FALSE ADVERTISING AND LIES. He told us that the 2011 waas identical to the 2010. WE TRUSTED HIM AND WE GOT SCREWED. Now they won't take the car back and they are giving us a hard time. I don't want this car and I don't want to deal with this dealership any longer WHAT CAN I DO? HELP! Tonight I am going to return there rental and I am leaving without a car. I WILL NOT DRIVE TE 2010 HOME. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THAT CAR.

You should never have purchased a vehicle without testing it, no matter who you talk to or trust. That's just common sense when buying a vehicle. You made an extremely poor decision, and now have to live with it. Car purchases are final once the funding is done.

Drive it back to the dealer ...park it and give them the key get something in writing that they have the car or just video tape it or have a witness with you...be patient and wait ..don't call them they will be calling you propably the sales person or his manager...tell them you don't want the car anymore and that you will be buying a toyota yaris or similar...im pretty much sure the GM of the dealership will be calling you to solve the issue. first of all, , , i got this car 2 years ago, , , its a great car, , powerfull, stable, , strong breaks...i liked everything about it...and just trusted the logo GM ...but the service center here in Egypt is destroying everything...
i own 3 cars ( aveo, and 2 optra), , and i think i'll sell them, and try another brand other than GM ... another brand that would respect the clients and know how to fix and make service to there cars...because GM services here in Egypt don't know how to fix, make service, or even respect the clients...
Advice to everyone, , , , please don't ever think about buying GM here in Egypt, , if you want to be treated well, get good service, and be safe, don't buy GM cars, because the service centers are professionals in collecting money and destroying your cars, and make your life bad...

Chevrolet nothing, but problems

I have owned a 2003 Chevy Silverado, and I have had all the same problems as others have had. I have a bad problem with gauges in my truck, I have a bad hub bearing which is making the ABS light come on, I have bad squeaking under my truck, I have a few steering problems also, my truck is getting up there in miles but after reading many complaints on the internet by people with all the same problems regardless of how many miles are on this vehicle, it is clear to me that all the problems I have will consist on all the vehicles that people have all around, these are all safety concerns and should be addressed before Chevy gets a bad name. I love the truck but these problems are all coming about just like others that had complaints.

I had purchased Beat in May-11 and registration number is HR 03M 5824. First 1000 Km check was done at Aravali Auto, Plot no. 66 IDC, Mehrauli Road, Gurgaon on 28-May-11. After service I notice that ignition symbol did not disappear after start. I immediately bring into their attention and they rectified it and told me that this is because of software problem. It seems that without proper check they deliver vehicle to customer.
Few day it work fine but on 6th day (5-Jun-2011) car did not start and I contacted to Aravali Auto and they told me that technician will come to your place and this service is chargeable. I was not having any option except to agree on this.
After continues calls their technician come and he checked my car for an hour and told me to drop vehicle to service center. He gave me crane operator number and told me that I have to bear the cost of Rs.1500 as crane fee. Again I was not having any option except to agree.
I paid Rs. 1500 to crane operator to drop my car to Aravali Auto and dropped car at Aravli Auto on 5-Jun-2011.
They promised me deliver car on next day (6-jun-2011). But when I contact them they told me that it seems its manufacture issue and it will take some more time and agreed to deliver on next day.
Now Each time I call them, they are giving me different excuse like “It seems manufacture problem”, “checking assembly line problem”, “Checking fuel pump ”, ”Checking wire connections”, “Checking software problem”.
It’s been more than three days and they are not able to resolve the issue. I am facing lot of inconvenience due to not having car.
I made more than 20 calls to get the status but each time I got the answer “We are working on your car and need more time”.
After three days they are not in condition to tell me when issue will be fixed.

I met with an accident on 24th nov 2010 at 1.00 am. Kept calling the customer helpline number but there was no support from there side. I somehow managed to get my Car towed back to chandigarh at my own cost. Dynamic motors promised me the delievery within next 20 days, however they gave it to me after 35 days despite the fact that i called them everyday for the same and they kept fooling me around on behalf of delayed delievery of parts. They delievered me the car and asked me to come back for a checkup after 1000 kms, however my car got overheated within 400 kms and when i asked the service incharge about what is happening he replied that do not contact anybody else for this and get the car back to us anyhow. I again get it towed back to chandigarh on my own cost. They changed the hot gas kit and gave my car back to me with POOR PERFORMANCE, MISSING AND TIGHT STEERING. EVEN THE CLUTH AND ACCELERATOR WERE IN POOR CORDINATION. And now when i again complained about the same they give no ###ING reply. nOW THEY SAY UR CARS ENGINE HAS TO BE OVERHAULED AT YOUR OWN COST. wHAT THE ### MAN, THEY WANT ME TO GET MY CARS ENGINE DONE WITHIN 5 MONTHS OF PURCHASE. I have an UVA, a BEAT and was even Planning to buy a Cruse, however Now this incident would not even have an impact on my future purchase also if i dont get a satisfactory reply, i am planning to hit consumer court for the same.

Chevrolet chevrolet cruze noise

Dear Sir,

First, I hope you take this complaint seriously.

I bought Chevrolet Cruze in January from ' Mansor Chevrolet'

(The Egyptian agent) Nasr City Branch - Egypt.

Since I bought it I heard loud noise in the engine whether the car is

moving or standing still (while the engine is on).

When I went to the agent, they inspected the car but they couldn't

figure out the reason for that noisy noise.

Afterthat, they told me that the Cruze version of Chevrolet has this

defect and that this noise cannot be overcomed.

Is there a solution for this problem? knowing that this noise is not a

bearable noise.

I hope you consider my complaint and send me your reply as soon as

possible please.

Chevrolet water leak in 2008 malibu ltz

I went to Tom Peden in 2007 and spoke with a salesman and told them I was preapproved for loan through my bank for a car. I told him I wanted a black Malibu LTZ and to call me when they got one in. More than a year later, I still had not received a call. One day as I was headed to His and Her Day Spa in the summer of 08, I saw a black Malibu LTZ parked at the front of the lot. I stopped, told them I wanted it, paid a deposit and finished the rest of my tasks for the day. Later that evening, I went back and bought the car. I bought a BRAND NEW 08 Chevy Malibu LTZ.

Right away, I noticed a noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. I took it to Tate-Porter and the service manager took it for a test drive. When he returned, he told me the door panel had a clip that was not clipped and he fixed it. We had noticed many times were we had to push the cover back on the rear side of the console because it would always come out. A few weeks later, my daughter was sitting in the back seat and put her drink in the rear drink holder. She grabbed the drink just before it took a plunge into the floor. I took the car back to Tate-Porter. Many times, they just pushed it back in. Eventually (almost two years later) they told me the clips were missing that holds the panel onto the console. They ordered the piece and put it in. I took the car to them many times because the foam insulation around the back glass kept coming loose and sticking up in the rear glass. They just shoved it back down in countless times and never replaced it - although it was obvious that the sticky tape was not working. At this time, the foam still sticks up in my back glass.

After a few months I felt water dripping on my legs when I was driving. The service manager at Tate-Porter told me it was condensation from the air conditioner and it was normal. Then in the winter, water began pouring in through my overhead lights. I took it back to Tate-Porter, & the service manager instructed me not to wash the vehicle because this is what caused the leak. They took a paper towel and swiped the lights, dash, and console. DONT WASH THE CAR - PROBLEM SOLVED. I have owned many vehicles and washed them all year round and never once had one leak because I washed it.

After many ignored complaints and failure to provide service for the water leaks, my car finally malfunctioned. I could push the gas pedal all the way to the floor and the car would not exceed 40 miles per hour. I called Todd at Tate-Porter and told them all the codes the car was displaying and was asked to bring the car in. I took it and dropped it off. Later, I get a call from Todd in the service department. He said my car's computer had been flooded with water and it had shorted out causing it to malfunction and was the cause of the problems. (DUH! I HAD KEPT TELLING HIM IT HAD A FLIPPIN WATER LEAK AND HE KEPT TELLING ME NOT TO WASH IT!) He said they were fixing the computer issue and he would have to make an appointment on Wednesday for the "water doctor" to look at my car because they do not handle those types of water leaks in the service department.

Again, I took my car and dropped it off. The "water doctor" informed me and Todd that the plastic end cap on the track of my sunroof was missing which was causing the water to drain inside the car, rather than draining down the drain tubes. I TOLD THEM IT WAS LEAKING INSIDE THE CAR! The water doctor said he installed the plastic end cap, replaced the soaked carpet padding and fixed the water leak. I got in my car to drive away when I noticed the kick plates on the sides of the floor pan where scratched all up. I told them they needed to replace them because it wasn't like that when I dropped it off. They had to order the parts, and again, I had to drop my car off to have them installed.

Sometime later I was driving and the water came out from under the steering wheel and leaked onto my legs while I was driving again. Again, I called Tate-Porter's service manager and I told him it was not air conditioner weather and asked him what the issue was and how can it be fixed. Their service manager (Todd) told me not to wash my car. This past Thursday, I was driving my car after work down I-77 to 7th street when water came pouring out from under my steering wheel onto my legs. I was finally pissed! I called Tate-Porter at 5:35 and asked for Todd, the service manager. The salesman informed me that the service department leaves at 5:00 on Fridays. So I asked him if I brought my car to the lot if he would just document that he saw and could verify that my car was raining on the inside on my legs. Evidently, my frustration was amusing to him. The salesman put me on speaker phone and three of them stood around the phone laughing as I complained about buying a $30, 000 car only to be told not to wash it. I told them I had not washed it and the car had been parked for the three weeks prior to that day. The salesmen told me not to bring it to them because they could not document anything and I needed to come in on Saturday and see Todd. I then called Chevy Customer Service (where I'm sure I received India) and my case was escalated to a higher representative who should be calling me back on Monday.

Saturday, I took my car to the service department and spoke with Todd about scheduling another appointment to fix my "water leak" as the salesmen instructed. Todd said he thought that the drain tube was disconnected. He said in the winter when water gets in there and freezes and thaws and refreezes and re-thaws, it eventually works the drain tube off and then the water leaks inside the car. On the way across the parking lot to get my VIN and to tag my vehicle, guess what he did? He seriously looked at me and asked, "Well, did you wash it?" I told him to "Look at it! IT'S FLIPPIN FILTHY! NO, I DIDN'T WASH IT." As amused as I'm sure he was when I left, I was furious! He had scheduled an appointment for the "water doctor" to diagnose my car and I was to bring it back for Wednesday.

When Chevy called me on Monday, the higher representative said they would check into the situation and contact the dealership and follow up with my case. She then called me back and told me that she would contact me after the appointment on Wednesday. On Wednesday, the water doctor called and told me the drain tube had come unplugged and caused the water to leak inside the car. The water doctor said they reattached the tube and replaced the padding in the car because it was wet again. Chevy Customer Service called me and said the service manager at Tate-Porter had assured him that the vehicle was fixed. When I went to pick the car up that night, the service department was closed. I got in the car to leave when I noticed my heater had been running at 90 degrees that day (obviously to dry the car) and a terrible mildew, musty smell. IT WAS MY FLIPPIN CAR! I asked the salesman (Bob Nelson) to smell the vehicle so he could tell them it stinks. He did and would not comment. I asked for the paperwork to note what had happened and that I was not satisfied with the vehicle.

The next morning, I called Chevy Customer Service again. They actually told me I had to work with Tate-Porter and the service department to get the issue resolved! hahahahahaha. Lots of things have happened since then and Mark Porter himself has called me to try to assist in making this right. He has instructed Todd to order me all new carpet and carpet padding for my car to make it smell good again. Mark also said if the leak isn't fixed, he will work with Chevy to obtain a more satisfying solution for me. Hopefully that means to take the piece of crap back!

I have told Chevy and Tate-Porter's service manager, Todd, that I have bought six vehicles from that lot, four of which were brand new. And if this is the best they can treat me, I would never buy another FLIPPIN Chevy as long as I live. . . After I told Chevy Customer Service if they brought me the keys to a brand new Corvette Z06 and said its mine and its free, I would set the flippin’ thing on fire and watch it burn while they stood in my driveway. I also told her I would just go buy a Toyota next time. She asked me if I would seriously by a Toyota with all of the problems they are having. I asked her what she meant. She said with the recalls because of the gas pedal sticking. I said, “So. I will get there a little faster and I will still be dry when I get there.” Hahahaha. Chevy closed my case and noted it "No way to obtain customer satisfaction". LOL! YA THINK!? They could if they would take the piece of crap back.

Anyway, I only posted this because I told Chevy Customer Service and Todd at Tate-Porter Chevrolet that until the day I die, I will tell everyone I meet or know how I was treated in this ordeal. I asked Todd if he realized what an idiot he looks like when I tell everyone he keeps telling me not to wash my car in order to solve my water leak issue. It seemed he didn't mind much. I told them I work at DuPont and I have my own business and my fiancée has his own business, as does my mother. And we will all tell everyone about this experience until they make it right! Oh, and by the way. . . If it isn't fixed and Chevy won't take it back, can you say: ATTORNEY, LEMON LAW, and PRODUCT LIABILITY? Until then, if you see a black Chevy Malibu with a driver in a rain suit while driving the car, or an umbrella up inside the car, that will be me. Wave and honk as you pass by. If I wanted to get wet when driving a vehicle, I would have just bought a crotch rocket street bike instead of a MALIBU!

I have a 2009 Chevy Malibu and have horrible problems with my sun roof. I've had it six times and have spent over $1000 on this problem in the 2 years I've had it. The inside of my car is covered in water stains. When I asked what I could do to stop they proble I was told there is nothing you can do. Now I have so much moister In my car that it could
Possibly mold!

I also own a 2008 Chevy Malibu Black with the same water leak issue. After numerous dealership repair attempts with no resolution, filed a lemon law complaint and provided the required 'final repair attempt' to GM. During this final repair attempt the noted the following: Sunroof drain tubes were too short to fully seat in the sunroof assembly and body together. Extensions to the drain tubes were installed and the vehicle was returned to me. They may have finally fixed the defect, but the water damage and the mold/mildew odor is a permanently devalue the vehicle. I have an arbitration hearing with the Better Business Bureau/FL Attorney Generals and I that is scheduled for April 5th.
