Champion installed a new front and storm door in August 2025. The front door's electronic lock never worked. I requested service several times. Eventually someone came but it was over two months and multiple telephone calls, the same service person visited twice, looked at the lock, and said "I don't know anything about locks." It was obvious a locksmith was needed and Champion would not send one. I hired a locksmith who, for $185, quickly diagnosed that the lock had been installed improperly. I wrote Champion including the invoice with a request for reimbursement. I waited 2 weeks and called. Eventually the service manager, Greg, returned my call. He could not find the letter or invoice. I texted copies to him and he acknowledged receipt.
It has now been 4 months. This was an $8000 project. Champion has still not stood behind the work and taken responsibility for the mistake of the installer.
Recommendation: Buyer beware!
