I am posting this because I have now reached the point where Cartrack’s lack of written feedback and accountability is completely unacceptable.
On Monday, 6 July 2026, one of our company vehicles was involved in a hit-and-run incident. I requested the required vehicle footage from Cartrack on the same day as the incident because the footage is critical.
It has now been over 72 hours since the request was made, and I am still waiting for proper written answers to my questions.
I have sent repeated emails requesting feedback, escalation, and clear written responses. Instead of answering the questions properly in writing, Cartrack appears to avoid putting the service failures and explanations on email. I have specifically requested that this matter be escalated to senior management, yet I am still not receiving the written accountability that a paying customer should expect.
This is not a small issue. We pay for a tracking and camera service so that, when an incident happens, we can access the information and footage we need. This is now the second time we have experienced problems when trying to access footage when it actually matters.
Cartrack promotes its service as reliable, available, and there when customers need it. However, in this case, the service has failed us when we needed it most. After more than 72 hours, repeated emails, and multiple requests for escalation, we still do not have clear written answers.
My questions remain unanswered:
Why has it taken more than 72 hours to retrieve or provide the footage?
Why has no one provided clear written feedback on what went wrong?
Why are my emails not being properly answered?
Why does Cartrack prefer phone calls instead of putting the facts in writing?
How will this service failure be rectified?
What compensation or corrective action will be offered for a service we are paying for but could not use when needed?
Who in senior management is actually taking responsibility for this matter?
As a paying customer, I should not have to fight this hard for basic feedback, written answers, and access to a service that I am paying for.
I am requesting urgent senior management intervention, immediate written feedback, the footage requested, and a clear explanation of how Cartrack intends to rectify this failure.
Recommendation: DONT USE THEM!
