I have been a client for the past 5 years. I went to download the app just to see that my cars are offline. When I called the customer service (after getting transferred 9 times), the consultant told me that there is no signal since atleast 2 years ago. I have been paying for 2 cars with no signal with an old system (according to the consultant), I was just lucky nothing bad happened orelse they will just blame it on me.

I was about to add my third car, I guess I will be removing 2 cars instead.

The consultant told me that the manager will contact me. NOTHING YET...

I Have been a client of Cartrack for 3 years and still am. They are due to be paid on the last day of the but sometimes people forget. On the 1st (Saturday) they " Reagile Mokwena @ Cartrack disabled the service. Which was done without warning. This actions then caused us the inability to assist a foreign tourist assistance in locating them to provide roadside assistance in a very dangerous area. However despite payment being made. Over 3 days later after payment still have not reconnected the access, several emails sent to this particular person with no response. I believe she has taken her job title to her head. And doesn't understand the fundamental principles upon which business relationships are maintained in this country. Sadly I will be looking for an alternative company.

For the last 5 months my cartrack device is not functioning. I have been in contact with cartrack on numerous occasions and I am now tired that I am getting no joy. Each person I speak to states they will book the vehicle in for maintenance but when I call again they tell my the next person has not booked it in. This is continuously occurring and I am been billed monthly for a system that is not functioning. Cartrack can go and listen to all the recordings of my call.

They installed the device on my bmw 318is there in 2021 there after my wiring harness melted took my vehicle to Bosch and they confirm that it was indeed car track technician that messed up

I immediately contacted car track and nothing absolutely nothing was done

2023 and yet nothing bit they keep deducting money from my account

During this month 03-2023 had a call from some lady from cartrack. We arranged R175 payment every month for 4 months. So the 24th of this month their 99 went threw on the 25th 175 went threw and today 28th 218 that I have canceled goes threw. What the hell is going on with this company so now I want my money and I don't need their service any more and they must come and take their unit. [protected] zakhele is my name. I'm scared of them. They never call when ever your in dangerous zones even if when you take out the battery

I have been with cartrack for 4years now. December 2022 i took my battery out i never recieved a call or any notification whatsoever. I called their customer line and it keeps on ringing no answer. I repeatedly took my batterry out and still nothing. The only time i was communicated to was when i reversed my debit oders. They called and the only thing they were concerned about was that i pay because i was in areas. I explained everything to them and that i wanted to cancell. They want me to pay before i cancell. Their overall service is very poor.

It’s been two months now that I can’t get them to switch my debit order from the first to the 5th. I have made 1000’s of calls and emails (which they don’t respond to). This month again it went of on the 28th of Feb. Now it was returned twice because they decided to try again on the 4th after I said it can’t be before the 5th. They cost me R420 in unpaid debits in two months. The amounts they give me then to pay is more than twice my original amount. I am fed up to say the least. When I requested to cancel my contract they said sorry you have to pay R700 and never sent the cancellation form. I have mailed client services, the ceo and ethics department. No one even bothers to answer.

IV contacted car track from last year November to cancel my subscription the consultant then told me I agreed to a 3 year contract with them witch I requested a telephonic recording of this witch they cannot provide me with after 4 months and still debating my account with no feedback to regarding my issues they wanting me to pay 3500 cancellation fee but cannot provide me with proof of my conversation and still awaiting feedback from them regarding my matter stated to me that if I do not pay I will be listed but cannot give me piece of mind or any feedback regarding my situation I'm much disturbed over this as IV spoken to 3 consultants and a supervisor of this company to send me my Voice recording of our agreement

Took out recovery warranty tested quarterly aug 2022 and dec 2022, warranty claim rejected due to unit not tested on a quarterly. Proof that the unit was tested prior to the warranty claim.

I would not recommend them to anybody, due to hidden clauses.

I have been a client with them since 2015 never skipped a payment, vehicle was never recover and they never gave me any feedback (recovery rate is based on units and not vehicles)

After the car tracker was installed on my car, my lights started malfunctioning.
Only the dim and bright lights are working. I have called cartrack numerous times and informed them about this, but they keep on saying they are escalating my matter and they will call me back and assign a technician to come and check what is wrong.
Up until now I have not received any call from them.
This is the service I did not sign up for. They were after me with calls after showing an interest on their car tracker, but now that there is something they need to fix they are not attending me.
What will happen if my car gets stolen? Will they even try locating and recover it if they cannot solve a simple query as such?

On Monday 02-02-2023 at 21:00 I was involved in an accident in Bloemfontein at Harvey avenue at Brandwag and my vehicle was towed by the towing company, because I was admitted at the Hospital. I contacted my car tracker after 2 days to locate where is my vehicle but they told me that they can not locate where is my vehicle. I then keep on calling them to inquire about my car but they could not tell me the where about of my vehicle. On the 24-01-2023 I called them but they do not know anything about my vehicle and they do not bother themselves to locate it. There only thing that they know is to debit on my account. There service of car track is very poor and I do not wish anyone to join this company, because they use fake unit and car track is a [censored] company.

I have enquired about Cartrack units in beginning of November 2022 for 2 vehicles. We were told we need the start prevent as well need to fit the units costing R199-00. First unit installed 07-11-2022 without prevent start unit? I immediately enquired and were told they will arrange for the installation. Second vehicle was done 08-11-2022 same as the first vehicle? Ever since I am battling to get correct answers from Cartrack and my issue still not resolved? I have reversed the debit orders that went off in November until such time that my issue is resolved. I got told on 2 occasions that I will lost warranty on my vehicle should they fit the start prevent function this could also not be provided in writing. Can you please assign this issue to a Manager in your business to assist? I am not getting any feedback from Cartrack? I do have all my correspondence on e-mail.

I have called car tracker for a tracking device in which i knew i can affors i wanted the 149 but with their tricks i was signed for 199 which in the first month of the insurance i was supposed to start the payment i also had to cancel because i had to go for intwaso then called them to cancel; because i am no longer working i was told i have to pay R2500 for a fine i was never told about this fine when i was signing up now the amount its R1190 told on my email i have ben handed over to the lawyer in which i called and explain to them had but they refuse to take my problem they can do so cos at the moment i am not working and also not getting paid i will never refer or advice someone to go for this company

Since the tracking device was installed my car started giving me a problem. It was october on the 26 when they installed the tracker. My car stopped starting it showed the, symbol ep. I took it to vw they, said the person who was installed the tracker messed up the wires so, it also damage the starter and the battery. I payed for the damages they don't want to the accountable and they are still deducting the money even, after the tracking device was removed. They have, send their technician to come sort out the problem he, failed and demanding that I call the technician from vw who was working on the car. I did call him and the technician from car track was arguing with the technician from vw saying they have diagnosed the car wrong and, they won't pay for the damages I should be the one paying.

This company has been debating my account for over a year now for a tracking device I do not have. I called them a year ago and every month since December 2021 to cancel tracking contract however I still get debited. Recently I've decided to reverse the debit order however what they have now done is not only debit for 2 cars but they also debit on any given day an extra R130 from my account. Today I received an sms stating they want to now blacklist my account. Firstly I have never gotten customer satisfaction from this company. You steal my money and still have the decency to now go a step further and mess up my credit record. After a whole year of trying to get car track to stop stealing my money today am told by a late shift advisor Winston (not clear on his name) that they cannot assure me that I can get anyone to assist in resolving this matter but what I can do is try and call them tomorrow to see further assistance. The also do not have a late shift manager and cannot start the process of getting all recordings in order so I can back up my case regarding all my efforts to get them to stop debating my account. This company is terrible

01 September 2022 i received emails of cancelation of account from cartrack with the last debit order done on the 25th August 2022,amount of R653,01.On the 25 September 2022,a debit order of R90,75 was done.Again on the 25 October 2022 debit of same amount which i disputed both debits as unauthorized debit order.On the 27th October 2022 again cartrack proceeded to make a debit order of R180,51 which i disputed it.I received whats up massages from cartrack stating that i ow them.I called Cartrack and explained to them and it was found that they did not cancel the other package which was part of the debit of R653,01 under my account and immediately it was canceled.today the 19th November2022 i receive a phone call from cartrack stating that i ow it some money for a contract which was their fault not to see that not everything was canceled on their system as per my request.

Hi I am client with car tracker. Around 14:50 I have called controller for location of my car the controller responded that my car is in Kempton Park while I know that I left my car at home when I go to work. Then I report stolen car around 15:00 even now they tell me that my car is parked at Kempton Park I must help them with case number soo I am totally disappointed and I can see that I am not in a good cover because is 1 hour waiting without communication I am the 1 spend my airtime calling about the update

My name is Zandile Dube, my husband Albert Dube joined car tracker August 2020, amongst other covers, his car was covered for recovery warranty.

Unfortunately my husband was hijacked August 2022, his car was taken away and never be recovered, of which he communicated with Tracker during the process of investigation,

When he claimed for recovery warranty he was told that he didn't take the recovery warranty, he requested for the voice recording where he was taking the policy he was told that they lost the recording, but where he took the policy he was told that the call is recorded and will be made available in request.

When he made follow up he was told second story that he didn't comply with clause 8 of terms and condition. My husband told car tracker that he did make a call within 3months before the date of hijack, he was then told that that didn't did save his policy.

My husband concerns is that if he didn't comply with the policy terms and condition why his money was always taken from his account?

why car tracker did notify him for the noncompliance? him failing for do device test resulting in tracker failing to recover his car?

car tracker representatives are giving him deferent stories every time he request about the service.

now he reported this matter to Hollopeter, but he is not helped
