Business Response Hello, This issue has been researched and confirmed that the cancellation fee was not refunded. We will reach out to the customer to get a check sent for the waived cancellation fee.

Business Response After speaking with the ***, we were told that they wanted to cancel their order. All of our customer is verbally told while there placing their order that they only have 20 minutes to make any changes or cancel their order. I told the customer that I would call the installer to see if he had already received the interior for their truck. AC Sport told us that they had received the customer interior kit but that he believed it was the wrong one. After hearing that information, I called the customer to let him know that we would be able to cancel his order and possibly wave the cancellation fee. While I was on the phone, I had received a message from AC Sport that they had made a mistake and that the interior kit for our customer was there ready to be installed. When I called our customer back, he informed me that they no longer had the truck and that they had traded it in. He then told me that the vehicle he had bought his wife already had leather in it. I explained to him that we would have to charge him the $500 cancellation fee that he agreed to when ordering his interior. I don't know who he was emailing but I never received any emails from the customer. The customer mentioned that he had a Jeep that he might be interested in putting leather in. I told him if he would like to do that, I would be glad to apply his cancellation fee to that order. Customer told me that, that would have to be something he discusses with his wife. This complaint comes as a bit of a surprise as we are always open, honest and upfront with all of our customers regarding cancellation fees, upcharges for upgrades and the time needed to do a factory fit and finish. All customer's calls are recorded for quality assurance and customer service purposes. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I emailed and called, the email was the person who I purchased the leather from *** and she was emailing back and forth until I needed to cancel the order and then I got a call and found out they had sent the wrong interior anyway to AC sports. The guy that called me never called me back but I'm guessing a month later decides to respond to this complaint. They are great at taking money but following through on the customer service side not so much. As for maybe getting interior done on my Jeep I stated that I would like to get my money back since they had sent the wrong leather anyway and if no other option was available then I might consider doing that and I would have to check with my wife first but since I've had this kind of service I'm never doing business with them again. Business Response We do not understand why *** feels that he does not have to comply with the same cancellation policy we have been using for years with all of our retail customer. The cancellation fee is put in place to cover the expense we incur producing our products. The fact that *** was the one who made the decision to go and trade the vehicle in a few day's before his installation date makes no sense what's so ever. After making the decision he decided to call us and cancel his order and for some reason he would like to blame us for his decision. Fact is that the kit he purchased was sitting at the installers waiting for him to come in and have his interior installed. We record all calls for quality control purposes, *** never once said anything or disagreed to the $500 cancellation fee while placing his order. He made a poor decision and is just looking to justify his actions. *** does not even have a reasonable reason for us to even consider helping him or refunding his agreed upon cancellation fee
