Captain D's review: Posted ad on widow adjacent to the entry to your establishment

This evening at approximately 7:30 EST I took a friend to the Cookeville, TN. Captain D's for supper. On the window adjacent to the main entrance was a posted advertisement the offer Fish and Fries with a side for$5.99.

Once at the counter I ordered this special however the cashier stated that the Fries are considered a side dish. That is not what, in my understanding, was the meaning and I called the young man on confusing advertising and in the interest of Captain D's there should be a correction with clarification. If what he claimed to be a fact the poster should read Fish with one side. In addition, the fries and okra were cold. I generally enjoy visiting your restaurant however tonight was an unsatisfactory experience.

The cashier, once I inquired about the confusion, stated it seemed clear to him. I have been a senior top executive most of my career as a licensed architect with a command of the English language.
