I recently opened a new Capital One credit card, but I’m unable to access my account online. I had a Capital One card years ago, and when I try to sign in, the system is still using my old phone number and login information. Since my phone number has changed, I can’t complete the verification process. Every time I attempt to update my number, my account gets blocked.
When I called customer service, I was instructed to send a copy of my driver’s license (front and back), which they said would be processed within 14 days. I have now submitted this documentation three separate times, and my account is still not accessible. I don’t understand why they didn’t use my current phone number which was on my application. This repeated failure to resolve the issue is completely unacceptable.
