It took me over 2 hours to close the account and was only finally successful after calling back 4 times, lying and saying I was moving. EVEN THEN they wanted to know where, if someone would be living in my home, what my address was going to be in a location far, far away. I became a ranting lunatic during the first 3 calls because they would NOT close the account. It was nuts. And they won’t credit you for partial months use. You have to pay for your full billing cycle even if you only used a few days. Their service was mediocre as well. Apparently
Recommendation: Use anyone but Optimum.
