Brookshire's Food & Pharmacy review: Packaged grapes

On September 10, 2026 I stopped at Brookshire's #58 in Mt. Vernon, TX to purchase a few items, one of which was a bag of Jack's Salute Red Seedless Grapes. I picked out this particular bag because the topmost grapes were full and firm and still had green on the stem indicating fairly fresh grapes. When I got home, I proceeded to wash and refrigerate them. While the top grapes were firm and fresh, the grapes in the bottom portion of the package were older, had wrinkled skin, and the stems were drying out indicating an older supply of grapes. I believe you supplier may be guilty of deceptive marketing and would like your inspectors to do a better job of ensuring we get quality produce. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
