Dear Sir or Madam,

Complaint.

I have sailed with Brittany ferries for many years, the crossing of Plymouth/Portsmouth to Santander/Bilboa, without any complaint at all.

Sailed through all weathers, different ships, and even through the pandemic. We make the crossing, twice yearly and have enjoyed your hospitality, getting us ready for our long drive to the Algarve.

This last journey we undertook was absolutely appalling and the claim that it was a new forward-thinking cruise was inaccurate.

The boarding of the ship was very disorganized and took hours.

The request that we have to eat at a certain time, is a return back to martial law.

The restaurant food is very poor, My hamburger was microwaved with the lettuce still in it, and they replaced it with the pig cheek casserole, it was so salty I couldn't eat it. A plus was that the staff, were very obliging.

The Tapas bar food was very poor quality and had not a lot of choices.

There was nowhere to buy a coffee at 6.00 am in the morning, the vending machine was broken.

I understand that your fleet is moving towards being eco-friendly, this means that people are on your ships longer and will require a journey that adapts to what they need and when they need it!

We are awaiting a response before we rebook our return journey, we know you have the monopoly for the Ferry,s to Spain, but it is sad to see a company with such an implicit reputation, lose it with a new very expensive Ship.

Waiting a response.

Best Regards Jill Machado.
