CruisesOnly Great Experience Booking My Cruise

I'm surprised by many of these reviews here. My wife and I have booked through CruisesOnly a few times and had nothing but positive experiences. They always honor the cruise line's offer - we've booked with Norwegian and royal caribbean - and give us additional offers that the cruise lines don't.

CruisesOnly Outstanding customer service

Destiny, at extension ***, has been a tremendous help to my wife and I.
We had a cancelled Royal Caribbean cruise and have been fighting with Royal Caribbean about a refund.
Destiny interceded on our behalf and has been fantastic. I will only book through Cruisesonly, and will use Destiny as an agent.

CruisesOnly Disappointing Experience with CruisesOnly.com: My Review of Booking a Boston to Bermuda Cruise

So, a while back I went on a cruise that I booked through CruisesOnly.com, and it was pretty good. I mean, I had a good time and all that jazz. But recently I thought I'd try them again for a Boston to Bermuda cruise in August 2023. And I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed.

First off, the reservation agents didn't seem to know squat about the cruises they were selling. I mean, come on guys, if you're gonna sell me something, at least have a little bit of information about it! When I asked about the layout of the cabins, they just kinda shrugged and said they didn't really know. Not cool.

So, I ended up booking a cabin on deck 11, which seemed okay at first. But then I did a little digging and found out that it was right below the pool area. Um, no thanks! I called up the agent to change my room, but once again, they didn't have any knowledge of the ship's layout. They tried to sell me another room, saying it was the last balcony on the ship. Yeah, right! Turns out it was under the Italian restaurant - not exactly my idea of a good time.

Needless to say, I cancelled the whole thing and lost a hundred bucks in the process. I realized then that I should've just gone straight to the cruise line like I normally do. I mean, I've been on 41 cruises y'all, I know what I'm doing! But nooo, I had to be fancy and try out one of these online booking sites again. Lesson learned.

So, my advice to you, dear reader, is to steer clear of CruisesOnly.com. Work with a travel agent you actually trust, or just book directly with the cruise line. Don't make the same mistake I did!

CruisesOnly Run Away from Booking with CruisesOnly - My Disastrous Experience

Well, let me tell you about my experience with CruisesOnly. I have to say, it was not great. In fact, I would advise you to RUN, not walk, away from booking with them.

I thought I had found a good deal on a cruise a few weeks ago, but boy was I wrong. First of all, I spent what felt like hours clicking broken links on their website just to get the form needed to claim the discounts promised at the time of booking. After a week of frustration, I was finally told that the link was on my invoice. Seems simple enough, right? Well, apparently not, because it took another week just to receive my invoice.

But that's not even the worst part. Remember the "Cruise with free pre-paid gratuities" promo? Yeah, turns out I wasn't eligible for that because of the suite I booked. Thanks for letting me know beforehand, CruisesOnly! I mean, it wasn't even mentioned in any of the confirmation emails.

I did some digging and found out that the promo had actually been taken down from their website, but I still managed to find it cached. When I brought it up to a representative, they basically told me, "yeah we offered that, but not to you." Well, that $200 difference was pretty much the only reason I booked with them instead of direct with the cruise line. Lesson learned, I guess. Book direct, even if it looks like the price is higher on paper because once the discount disappears, you're paying the same either way and at least with the cruise line you can talk to a real person who might actually care about your experience.

So yeah, my experience with CruisesOnly wasn't great. They baited me in with supposed discounts, only to switch things up once I had already committed to booking with them. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your cruise needs!

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly Review: Nightmare Booking Experience and Poor Refund Process

So, I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty rough experience with CruisesOnly. I booked eight rooms with them for a cruise from December 1, 2019 to May 7, 2020. And let me tell ya, it was a nightmare. I had to call 'em up a whopping 23 times just to get things straightened out! Can you believe that?

There were all sorts of problems with the information they had on file for us. Wrong dates of birth, wrong addresses...you name it! And when I had to cancel a couple of people and replace 'em with others, they still managed to screw things up. The first folks I had on there were still showing up, even though I had let CruisesOnly know that they were no longer coming.

And then, to top it all off, COVID-19 hit and we had to cancel the whole darn thing. I did everything I was supposed to do - I cancelled all the rooms on March 28, 2020 and got an email from CruisesOnly telling me it was done. But when I went back in to double check, I found out that they hadn't actually cancelled everything.

I called 'em up again on May 7th to see what was going on, since they had only refunded one of the eight rooms we had booked. And guess what? They had messed up again! Two of the rooms hadn't been processed for the refund, and now we had to wait another 90 days for our money.

Let me tell you, I don't think I'll ever use CruisesOnly again. I've booked through Carnival before, no problems at all. And yeah, I got suckered in by their special offer of $25 to hold the room (I mean, who wouldn't be tempted by that?), but next time I'll pay the extra $99 to book directly with Carnival.

And here's the kicker - if you book through CruisesOnly and try to call the cruise line directly to get information, they won't give it to you. You have to go through CruisesOnly for everything. And who knows what kind of information their representatives are giving out?

So, yeah. Long story short - go with the cruise line itself, not some third-party booking site like CruisesOnly. Trust me, it'll save you a ton of headaches.

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly.com and Melissa Lemke - An Excellent Choice for Booking Cruises

So, I gotta say that CruisesOnly.com is my go-to when it comes to booking a cruise. I mean, I've booked 4 cruises with them already and haven't had a bad experience yet. Sure, I read some negative reviews on here, but I think those guys are just unlucky or something. Here's the deal, when I book with Melissa Lemke, I make sure to ask her all the burning questions I have in order to avoid any misunderstandings. I mean, like, "Yo, do I get unlimited drinks with this cruise?" And she answers making sure I understand, "Nah, man, you can have 15 drinks a day max. It's not like an all-you-can-drink kind of situation."

Another time I asked if I could use my Future Cruise Credit to pay gratuities, but she let me know politely that I couldn't and that it only applied to the basic cruise as listed on the cruise line website. She knows her stuff, and if she doesn't, she straight up tells me so and gets back to me once she's made sure of the answer. You can trust her, for real.

Now some people have said that they hate the upselling and being put on hold for hours when they call in, but I gotta say Melissa's pretty good about it all. She'll try and sell me an upgrade or something, but if I say no, she doesn't push it. In fact, the last time we spoke she suggested a Premium Balcony or mini-suite and I was like, "Nah, thanks." But then I thought about it and ended up changing my booking at a slightly higher cost because it made sense once I looked into it more.

Lemme tell you, if you're new to cruising, you gotta check these guys out. Just their website alone has got me feeling like I know so much more, even if I don't end up booking with them. And as for calling in and being put on hold forever? Can't say I know about that. Melissa and I just email each other back and forth until we need to talk and then she calls me when it's time. Works like a charm.

Overall, CruisesOnly.com and Melissa Lemke hold it down when it comes to booking cruises. I can't imagine using anyone else!

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly Review: My Obsession with this Company & COVID Travel Restrictions

OMG, you gotta hear about my love affair with CruisesOnly! I'm freaking obsessed with this company! The staff is so chill and helpful, I feel like I'm talking to my BFFs every time I call. Plus, they hook you up with all these sweet bonus perks like onboard credit, discounts on shore excursions, and even resort access for the day.

Now, don't get me wrong, there is a $25 processing fee, but they totally give it back to you in the form of a gift card or refund. And sure, you might have to cough up $100 if you cancel, but they'll usually waive it if you switch to another reservation. No biggie.

But yo, let's talk about COVID travel restrictions. It's been a total bummer for the cruise industry, but these dudes are on it. They're working through staffing issues and rebooking voyages left and right. I had one cruise that got rescheduled FIVE freakin' times! It was a serious headache, but the crew was super helpful and walked me through all the changes like champs.

And honestly, if you can't get through to one agent, just talk to another. They used to be 24/7, but now they're more like 18/7. Still pretty legit if you ask me.

Now, I've seen some negative reviews out there, but personally, I think they're from peeps who don't cruise that often or are just unrealistic. As for me, I've booked at least 10 cruises through CruisesOnly, and I'm Diamond status baby! That means I get $100 onboard credit, $100 shore excursion credit (including pre and post cruise), and up to $100 resort access credit (just gotta read the small print).

And honestly, shout out to Miss Kimberly and Miss Kathi for being total rockstars and helping me navigate all the FCC debacles. These two deserve all the credit!

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly and Carnival: Buyer Beware of These Scam Artists!

Man, I really regret not checking out some reviews before booking my cruise with CruisesOnly. My wife and I have cruised before, but this time I wanted to do something special for our 40th anniversary. CruisesOnly looked like it would be an easy way to book our trip, and everything went smoothly enough at first. But then things took a turn for the worse.

My wife found out she needed eye surgery and was scheduled to have it done just a week before we were supposed to leave for our cruise. Obviously, her eyesight is way more important than any vacation, so we needed to cancel. It was still 35 days until departure, so I figured there wouldn't be a problem. Boy, was I wrong.

After waiting on hold for a painfully long 30 minutes, I finally got through to someone at CruisesOnly. I explained my situation and asked to cancel, but suddenly the friendly service I'd experienced up until that point went right out the window. I was put on hold a dozen times, and then I was told there would be a small cancellation fee from Carnival (the cruise line we were supposed to sail with). No big deal, right?

Wrong. When I checked my credit card statement a few days later, I saw that CruisesOnly had also charged me $100 for a cancellation fee. So now, on top of the original booking fee, I was out over $200 just to cancel. Total BS, if you ask me.

I tried calling CruisesOnly again to fix the issue, but I couldn't ever get through to anyone. So I went straight to the source and tried calling Carnival. That was even worse. Finally, I managed to reach someone through their online chat service. And you know what they told me? "Sorry for your inconvenience." That was it.

But it gets worse. I found out that Carnival was also planning to charge me over $350 in cancellation penalties. That's almost as much as the original cost of the cruise! Talk about a rip-off.

Honestly, "Buyer Beware" just doesn't seem like a strong enough warning for these scam artists. I'm seriously considering trying to find a lawyer who might be able to help me file a class action suit against both of these companies. I've never felt so ripped off in my life.

CruisesOnly Disappointing Experience with CruisesOnly: No Expert Advice, Errors, and Overpayments

So, let me tell you about my experience with CruisesOnly. I had a big family gathering coming up and I was feeling absolutely clueless about how to go about booking a cruise for ten people. That's when I stumbled upon CruisesOnly. I approached them with high hopes, expecting some expert advice and guidance to help me decide what configuration would be best for us. But boy was I wrong!

When it was all said and done, I ended up with 3 double rooms and 1 quad room. And let me tell you, that was a bad choice! I had 4 adult grandchildren in the quad room and it ended up costing us MORE than if they had been split up into 2 doubles. But did the Cruise guy give me any advice or help? Nope! He just quickly booked us with NCL and that too with so many errors and overpayments. And the worst part, when I had to get credit for my overpayments, I had to FIGHT with the CruisesOnly rep to get him to call on my behalf (can't talk directly to NCL if you use an agent). It took FOREVER to get him to even agree I had $877 coming back!

They had to change things 2-3 times to fix THEIR errors! And when I realized I could've done better by putting the kids in doubles, would they make that change? Hell no! Their policy prevails. I would have to cancel, take a 75% hit and re-book. I wasted countless hours trying to get them to acknowledge I overpaid and I still haven't gotten my refund (will dispute with cc company). And don't even get me started on my hours-long attempt to get NCL to explain why they added extra charges even CruisesOnly didn't understand!

In the end, I was disappointed that no one was willing to go to bat for me and help me get better accommodations. I was hoping for a travel agent, but instead I just got an "order taker". Eddie was a nice enough guy, but I just had to share a few of the worst days of my year with him because of this fiasco.

I think having to go through CruisesOnly actually hindered my ability to get things taken care of directly. They didn't help me get a better room or explain which would be the best way to go. It's like they had no human compassion or fairness whatsoever. So beware, if you're thinking of using CruisesOnly, approach with caution.

CruisesOnly Mixed Experience with CruisesOnly: A Review and Cruising Tips

Hey there, fellow adventurers! So, let me tell you about my experience with CruisesOnly. Usually, it's been amazing. I've booked five cruises for my daughter and me through them, and we've had the time of our lives. But recently, I hit a bit of a snag.

You see, I paid in full for a cruise on the Carnival Freedom on June 2nd, but unfortunately, the ship caught fire and the cruise was cancelled on May 27th. I called up CruisesOnly, and Georgia (a person that works there) suggested that we switch to the Carnival Liberty sailing on June 6th, which was priced the same. We took her advice and had an absolute blast on that cruise. But, it turns out that Georgia had gone ahead and used my future cruise credit for that sailing, even though there was no price difference.

Now, I don't know about you, but when I'm missing almost $300, I get pretty heated. So I called CruisesOnly to get to the bottom of it, but what do you know? Carnival won't even discuss or help with any issues if you book through CruisesOnly. They sent the email about the future cruise credit to CruisesOnly, not to me! What's that all about?

Anyway, my daughter and I were excited to use the future cruise credit for a cruise on July 22,2022 from Miami to Nassau. But once again, it seems that Georgia used my FCC for that booking instead. At this point, I'm just hoping to find out why this happened and get my refund. Moral of the story? Maybe just book directly through the cruise line.

But on a happier note, I do have some cruising tips for you. If you can swing it, the ocean view rooms are totally worth the extra cash. Not only do you get to look out at the water whenever you want, but you also don't have to worry about hitting your head on a bunk bed in the middle of the night (like you might in an interior stateroom). Trust me, it's worth it for the peace of mind alone.

Happy cruising, everyone!

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly Disappoints: Beware of Canceled Reservations and Incompetent Service

So, a few days back, I was hoping to book some shore excursions for my upcoming voyage to Alaska in June 2023 with my kinfolk. We had booked connecting rooms for our family of five in March 2022. However, I was disenchanted to find out that I couldn't book for one of the rooms, so I logged into my CruisesOnly account. I was shocked to discover that one of our reserved rooms had been canceled, and I couldn't figure out why or how it had happened.

Despondent, I reached out to Abigail Jenkins, the representative at CruisesOnly, and we discussed the matter for almost two hours, communicating with her supervisor and Royal Caribbean. But the catch- the survey did not follow after the call was over. I waited for a while, hoping that Abigail would call me again, but she did not. So, I had to call back in, and another representative messaged Abigail Jenkins knowing she was either at lunch or had left. Abigail didn't reply, even though I waited between her stated days and hours. Displeased, I contacted their customer service again and Jen Davis assisted me. For the next two hours, we went back and forth. As it turned out, the fault was CruisesOnly's for not transferring my payment to RCCL in time. This resulted in one of my oddly canceled rooms. I have the proof of payment and the emails to validate that payments were made, applied to my booking, and the final payment wasn't due until February 22, 2023.

I've been cruising for years, and I've mostly made my reservations with RCCL, NCL, Disney, and Carnival directly. Occasionally, I've made reservations with BJ's Travel and CruisesOnly, but after my experience, I wouldn't suggest CruisesOnly to anyone, even if my issue were resolved. They canceled one of my reserved hotel rooms and refused to take responsibility in spite of the evidence. They would happily take your money and bail on you if one of their agents goofed up. The supervisor, Tamika, was uncooperative, and she didn't even want to speak to me to summon an odd semblance of help.

Hence, I recommend to all cruisers alike to steer clear of CruisesOnly. They are incapable of rendering the service you will need.

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly Review: Shady Practices & Terrible Customer Service - Feel Swindled & Disappointed

So, I recently booked a couple of balcony rooms through CruisesOnly for a sweet ship/cruise combo. And you know what, they offered a promotion that gave me $50 in onboard credit if my cruise fare was at least $500! I was pretty pumped - I mean, who doesn't like free money, right?

Only...well, it didn't quite go as planned. You see, after I clicked that all-too-enticing 'book now' button, one of my bookings didn't receive the onboard credit. Like, no credit, zilch, nada. And when I went and asked what was up, I noticed something odd - $320 had been moved from my cruise fare budget category to the taxes and fees category. And sure, it happened to both bookings, but the second booking was still within that $500 minimum. So I decided to chase it up, being the persistent human that I am.

First, I left voicemails and emails through to World Travel Holdings (CruisesOnly's parent company) customer support line - and do you know what I got in return? Zilch. Nothing, not a sausage, no callback or reply to my messages. I then decided to call up the 800 agent number and speak to a few different travel agents - only some of them weren't really that helpful. One of them managed to get in touch with a different group and submit a form to try and fix things - but even after 24 hours, nothing had changed. That agent didn't even bother answering any of my subsequent calls or voicemails!

Another agent told me that the $320 represented an extra 'port fee' that hadn't been mentioned by Royal Caribbean - but it was built into every cruise fare, apparently. The kicker? This particular issue was with one of my rooms, which was booked for a lone passenger. And yep, you guessed it: $320 had been shifted from their fare budget to the fees one, too. According to CruisesOnly, all guest cabins had to pay this mysterious port fee - even though there's no sign of it anywhere in the Royal Caribbean documentation. Talk about shady.

For my part, I scoured Royal Caribbean's website and came up with the following: "taxes, fees and port expenses are $136.74 per person". Plus, their ticket contract notes that "governmental and quasi-governmental fees are not included in the cruise fare" - and apparently this includes port fees, too. Basically, I'm feeling pretty swindled by CruisesOnly at this point. I mean, they don't have any evidence to suggest that there's a $320 port fee attached to each room, do they? And they certainly don't seem to be too keen on handing over that promised onboard credit.

All in all, I'm pretty disappointed by this whole experience. Not only does it seem like CruisesOnly is trying to avoid giving out promotional offerings, but their customer service is pretty lousy when things aren't going perfectly. No thanks, CruisesOnly - I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future, thanks.

CruisesOnly Surprised if they haven't been sued for fraud

Recently booked 2 Balcony rooms through CruisesOnly for the same ship/cruise. One of the promotions they offered was for a $50 onboard credit with cruise fare minimum of $500. The cruise fare for one of the rooms came out to $624. This was confirmed by also pricing through the Royal Caribbean website direct, and taxes, fees and port expenses were confirmed in the fine print section of the Royal Caribbean website as $136.74 per person. In the booking confirmation page prior to clicking 'finalize booking', CruisesOnly matched Royal Caribbean exactly, and the cruise fare showed as $624.

After clicking to book, one of the bookings didn't receive the onboard credit. While looking at the detail, it appeared $320 was moved from the cruise fare bucket to the taxes & fees bucket. This happened on both bookings, but the 2nd booking was a slightly higher fare category so it still made the $500 cut off.

Have left voicemails and sent emails to the parent company (World Travel Holdings) customer support line with zero reply. Have spoken to a few different travel agents through the 800 number. Some didn't offer any help, one consulted with a different group and submitted a form to get it fixed which was supposed to take 24 hours. A week later and nothing was fixed. The agent has not picked up the phone when I called or returned any voicemails since. Another agent also consulted with a different group who informed the $320 amount represents an additional port fee not disclosed by Royal Caribbean as it's built into their cruise fare which is $160 per person. The issue then being one of the rooms is a solo cruiser, and that room also had $320 moved from the fare to fee bucket. The response from CruisesOnly was that all cabins pay double occupancy on this [non-listed, non-disclosed] port fee.

Meanwhile, in addition to Royal Caribbean's website clearly stating "taxes, fees and port expenses are $136.74 per person", the Royal Caribbean cruise ticket contract states clearly "governmental and quasi-governmental fees are not included in the cruise fare": [from the cruise ticket contract] d. "Cruise Fare" or "CruiseTour Fare" includes the amount due for the Cruise or CruiseTour, whether such amounts are owing and/or have been paid by the Passenger, but does not include amounts due for other products or services such as air transportation, photographs, gratuities, telephone calls, or medical services which can be purchased separately, nor does it include government or quasi-governmental taxes and fees, whether assessed on a per passenger, per vessel, per berth or per ton basis, nor any fuel surcharges, security surcharges or similar assessments made by airlines, trains, buses, hotels or other third parties which are subject to change and are due and payable by Passenger upon request. For CruiseTours that include air travel, airfare is included in the CruiseTour Fare.

CruisesOnly can not point to any formal documentation showing there is a $320 port fee charged per room embedded in the Royal Caribbean cruise fare as shown prior to booking, nor is there any disclosure of such a thing to be found on the Royal Caribbean website. This seems to be fraud on CruisesOnly's behalf to avoid promotional offerings. I've seen many complaints of people who didn't get their onboard credit, and found out after boarding; I'd be willing to bet this is why for many.

On top of a very questionable business practice, they're absolutely awful to get any help from if things aren't perfect. I've attached supporting documentation to show exactly what I've explained.

CruisesOnly Loyalty program shore excursion credit

I have booked over 20 cruises with CruisesOnly. They advertise a loyalty program that provides you with a shore excursion credit for each cruise booked. I am at the highest level and am supposed to receive a $100 credit for each cruise. Those credits are supposed to be delivered 60 days before the cruise. My cruise is set for September 19, 2023, and I have not received the shore excursion credit. I have called the repeatedly and all I am told is that they will notify the promotion department, but nothing ever happens. Then I repeat the process and still nothing happens.

Desired outcome: Receive my shore excursion credit in time to use it for the upcoming cruise

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly fails to support customers amidst COVID-19 pandemic

So, me and my boo were super excited to go on a cruise - we were looking forward to soaking up the sun, enjoying the food and drinks and having a blast. We booked through CruisesOnly, thinking they would take care of everything for us. But boy, were we wrong!

Firstly, we had to wait on hold for what felt like days to talk to someone about canceling our cruise due to the whole Coronavirus situation. When we finally got through, they hit us with a cancellation fee and some other random charges. Like, really? We're trying to cancel because there's a global pandemic going on, and you're still trying to charge us?

Then, when CruisesOnly called the actual cruise line to try and get us a refund, they basically got a big fat "no" from the person on the other end of the line. Not helpful, at all. They didn't seem to care that we were having to cancel our trip because of something completely out of our control.

Basically, we ended up losing out on almost $600 because we booked through CruisesOnly. Meanwhile, the actual cruise line was reimbursing everyone else who had booked through them. So yeah, needless to say, we won't be using CruisesOnly again in the future. And we'll definitely be telling our pals and other peeps to be cautious before handing over their cash to a company that clearly doesn't give two hoots about their customers.

CruisesOnly Review of CruisesOnly: Terrible Experience with Connecting Rooms on Princess

So, I had a pretty rough experience with CruisesOnly, let me tell you. My family and I were looking for a cruise with connecting rooms, and we stumbled upon CruisesOnly. The agent we spoke to said they found two connecting rooms on Princess and we were like okay, great! We booked the cruise two months before sailing and were looking forward to a nice getaway.

Fast forward to nine days before we set sail, and Princess sends us an email saying that they DON'T have connecting rooms after all! What? We were understandably upset and called Princess to complain, but they said we had booked through CruisesOnly, so we had to take it up with them.

So we called CruisesOnly and told them what happened. They said they would get back to us, but three days before sailing, we STILL hadn't heard anything! We called them back and they said sorry, but the booking was closed. Are you kidding me?!

CruisesOnly then had the nerve to offer us a $50 credit on a future cruise. Like, seriously? You want us to TRUST you to book another cruise after this mess? No thanks. We did get our booking fee refunded, but that doesn't even come close to making up for the stress and anxiety they caused us.

And let me tell you, trying to figure out sleeping arrangements for myself, my wife, and my 83-year-old mother-in-law with no connecting rooms was NOT fun. Thanks a lot, CruisesOnly - you really screwed us over.

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly: Not Worth the Risk During COVID-19 - A Cautionary Tale

We got our cruise all set up back in January for a September voyage, all excited to hit the high seas and leave our worries behind. But nothing in this world can stop a pandemic, and COVID-19 definitely had other plans for us. We barely had our plans in place when we started hearing whispers of the virus. We decided to stay optimistic, hoping things would improve in time for our big trip. But as summer came and went, we started getting nervous. We decided to reach out to the folks over at CruisesOnly about canceling or changing our sailing plans.

We hopped online to chat with one of their reps. We explained our concerns, that we didn't feel comfortable taking the trip anymore due to the pandemic. We asked if it was possible to change or cancel our cruise altogether. And what did they tell us? There was a $100 cancellation fee either way. Are you serious!? We were in a tough spot. We didn't want to lose the entire price of our cruise, but we didn't want to go on the trip either. So we kept trying to reason with them, hoping someone would show us some mercy. But they wouldn't budge on the fee. Not even when we told them that Carnival themselves was offering free cancellations before final payment was due!

We knew we had to do something to protect ourselves. So, we changed the card on file over to one that we don't normally keep a ton of cash on. Thank god we did! Because sure enough, a couple of weeks after the final payment was due, Carnival said they were canceling all September sailings. It was a bummer that we had to change things up like that, but it saved us some major heartache, and we were thankful we took that step.

From now on, we know NOT to go through CruisesOnly or any other agency like it. No way. We're gonna keep it simple and book directly through the cruise line itself. We've had enough of the runaround, you know? Sometimes the peace of mind is worth the extra effort. So if anyone out there is thinking about cruising soon, take it straight to the source! You'll be glad you did.

CruisesOnly A Frustrating Experience with CruisesOnly: Unreasonable Policies and Fees

So, let me tell you about my experience with CruisesOnly. Unfortunately, my dream of going on a cruise quickly faded when we were hit with unexpected airfare prices and I got laid off. We had pre-booked two adjoining rooms through CruisesOnly, and that's when all the trouble began.

Firstly, they failed to inform us that we were making two separate reservations for the rooms, which resulted in us being charged $100 for each room. I mean, come on! That's a lot of money to pay just for merely requesting two rooms next to each other.

But, hey, I'm a trooper! I let that slide and decided to focus on planning for the cruise and enjoying my time on board. Sadly though, circumstances changed, and I had to cancel the booking. That's when things got even more frustrating.

I was charged $100 for each room cancellation, but I wanted to credit my sister since she was still going on the cruise. However, the folks at CruisesOnly wouldn't let me do that. Instead, they said that the credit had to be used for a "future cruise credit." I was like, what? It's my credit, shouldn't I be able to use it wherever I want?

Needless to say, they didn't work with me at all, and that meant $250 went down the drain. I lost out on the money due to their unreasonable policies and all the fees involved in canceling the bookings. And to make matters worse, the cruise was still over five months out, so I'm pretty sure they could've sold the rooms to someone else.

In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend CruisesOnly to anyone. They don't offer any flexibility or accommodation when things go wrong. It felt like I was just another number to them, and all they cared about was making their money. So, if you're looking for a reliable and customer-friendly cruise booking platform, I suggest looking elsewhere.

CruisesOnly Terrible Customer Service and Itinerary Change from CruisesOnly (cruisesonly.com)

Man, let me tell ya about my experience with CruisesOnly (cruisesonly.com). Straight up, they messed up our reservation from the get-go. But, we were just excited to be going on vacay, so we let it slide. Little did we know, these fools were gonna hit us up out of nowhere and change our whole itinerary! No explanation or nothing! Like, what the heck, man? This is the worst I've ever seen.

So, I'm thinking, let me call their tool free number and see if I can get some help or answer. Bruh, I was on the line for like THREE HOURS a day, for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT, and still couldn't reach nobody! When I finally did, I got Tammi. And let me tell you, this chick was in a CHRONIC bad mood. Straight up, nasty attitude, crass responses, cold manner, the whole nine yards. She was absolutely RUDE, cutting me off and everything. Like, seriously? Who do you think you are?

Let's just say, I will NEVER book anything through this company again. They don't give a rat's behind about customer service once they have your money. They didn't even try to make things right or say sorry for ruining our trip. Straight up ZERO stars for these jokers.

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly's Disappointing Response to Cancellation and Refunds during the Pandemic

When it comes to cruisin', I gotta say I was pretty let down by CruisesOnly. They talk a big game about putting us customers first, with their so-called "CruisesOnly Advantage." But let me tell ya, they couldn't even swing a refund for my cancelled cruise. And that ain't my fault - the damn pandemic turned everything upside down!

I tried doing the responsible thing and paying for insurance, plus a deposit, in good faith. But that was a cool $300-375 bucks down the drain. Now, I'm stuck in refund purgatory, waiting for Royal Caribbean to come through with what they promised. But guess what? Turns out they're trying to stiff me out of over $200! And I got the email receipts to prove it, too.

Honestly, this whole experience has been such a bummer. The only bright spot was the agent Kathi Tait, who actually seemed to care about helping me out. She deserves a solid 4.5 stars. But unfortunately, she's fighting against a whole company that just doesn't seem to give a hoot about their customers once they've got our money.

I know times are tough with COVID and all, but come on, CruisesOnly. Step it up and do right by your paying customers. Don't leave us high and dry without a refund.

CruisesOnly CruisesOnly Review: How They Took Advantage During COVID-19 Crisis

So I gotta tell ya, I hopped on the CruisesOnly website the other day to book myself a cruise. Now, normally I don't like all those pesky fees and whatnot, but the price seemed really good so I went for it. But, let me tell you, things went south when COVID showed up.

RCCL made an announcement that we could cancel our bookings without any fees at all. I thought, heck yeah, I'm taking them up on that! So I tried to contact CruisesOnly and they said I was late to the party but they'd somehow magically forward my payment of over a thousand dollars to a cruise in September. I was skeptical, but decided to go with it anyway.

Fast forward to May 12th and I decided to cancel again. But guess what? CruisesOnly told me that since I had already "forwarded" my payment, they wouldn't be able to give me a refund. I was so ticked off, let me tell you. The agent promised me $200 back...and then they didn't even make it happen!

Can you believe that CruisesOnly actually got refunded by the cruise line but chose to keep my money anyway? I'm so over this outfit, y'all. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could. Steer clear, folks.

CruisesOnly Disappointing Experience with CruisesOnly.com: A Warning for Cruise Seekers

Hey guys, I gotta say - I'm pretty disappointed in my experience with CruisesOnly.com. I was all psyched up to book a cruise and had heard good things about their services, but now I'm feeling pretty let down.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the phone and internet with 4 different reps over the course of 10 hours, and still didn't have a confirmation number for the cruise I wanted to book. And let me tell you, it wasn't because of the reps themselves - they were all pretty friendly and tried their best to help me out. Nope, it was because of the #@*!%y system they work with and the way they advertise their prices.

Every time I called the 1800 number, the price would shoot up and up, and I'd discover some sneaky fine print that I hadn't seen on the website. After 4 calls, I was absolutely worn out. I don't want to bash the reps or anything - they were just doing their jobs - but the whole experience was just super frustrating.

So I decided to try my luck with VacationsToGo. And let me tell you, it was like night and day. I got a fast deal number off their website, and when I called in, everything was straight forward and easy to understand. No hidden fees, no unexpected price jumps - just an easy, 20-minute booking process. And the best part? I got the cruise for even cheaper than I would have with CruisesOnly.

At the end of the day, this was my second time trying to book a cruise and having an experience like this - and I'm not gonna make that mistake again. So if you're thinking of booking with CruisesOnly, I'd definitely recommend checking out other options first - because this website can be a real $#*!show.

CruisesOnly Beware of CruisesOnly and Promises They Can't Keep - A Review of Disaster

So I was super excited when I found out about CruisesOnly - I mean, who doesn't want to go on a cruise of a lifetime, right?! But, boy oh boy, did things take a turn for the worse when I actually booked my trip through them. My agent, Tony Torres, was all friendly and helpful over the phone - he promised me all sorts of things, like the best available suite and a sweet Port-side view from my balcony. But, let me tell you, that dude couldn't keep his word to save his life.

First off, the suite he put me in was hardly the best available. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was still pretty darn fancy, but I could tell it wasn't what he had promised me. And then there was the whole Port-side view situation - let's just say the only time I saw the Port from my balcony was when we were docked. Otherwise, it was all vast and (sometimes) beautiful ocean.

But the worst part was when Tony promised me a $300 on board credit. I mean, that's a lot of cash monies to spend on fancy drinks and souvenirs. So imagine my surprise (and horror) when I kept calling him from overseas during my cruise (at a crazy expensive $5 per minute) and he wouldn't pick up half the time. And when I did talk to him, he gave me some story about how he had taken care of it, only to find out later that there was no onboard moolah waiting for me.

I mean, come on - Tony Torres and CruisesOnly, you guys are a real piece of work. Don't promise things you can't keep and don't hype up your company if you can't deliver. So yeah, I'm telling you right now to stay away from these guys unless you wanna get scammed like I did. Trust me, it's not worth it in the end.

CruisesOnly Deceitful business practices at CruisesOnly - Beware of hidden cancellation fees and poor customer service!

Hey guys, so I recently cancelled a cruise that I had booked through CruisesOnly, and let me tell you, I was not happy with the experience. First off, I didn't expect to get hit with a $100 cancellation fee, on top of the nonrefundable booking fee. I mean, I get it, they gotta make their money, but couldn't they have made it a bit more clear during the booking process?

When I was booking online, it was clear as day that there was a $24.99 fee, but the area where they mention the cancellation fee is so small, it's basically invisible. And get this, there's not even a box to click for terms and conditions in order to process payment. I mean, what kind of shady business is that?

It wasn't until after I had already made my purchase that I saw the clear $100 cancellation fee. And to make matters worse, when I called to try and get it waived, the customer service rep (Alex) told me that the manager wouldn't budge on it. Apparently it was all laid out in the confirmation, but come on, who actually reads all of that fine print?

Alex even had the nerve to tell me that once I make a purchase, I can't cancel it without being charged. Like, seriously? That's just not right. Needless to say, I am never booking through CruisesOnly again and I plan on warning all of my friends and family about their deceitful practices. Stay away, folks!
