The week of Aug. 4 I contacted store manager Eliam that my hub cap for my 97' Dodge 2500 Ram was missing after they inspected my brakes. On Aug. 11 he texted me to order a new hub cap and they would reimburse me. I told him I located one and the cost. He then stated he would purchase it. After much back and forth he stated that they didn't receive it and to order it myself and give him the receipt. It is now 9 Sept. I ordered and received the hubcap and went to his strore and gave him a copy of the receipt. Since then I received excuses that their system was down or that his manager hasn't gotten back with him. When I went to his store I was informed that he transferred out. When the assistant manager checked for the receipt and communications to Eliam's manager there was not record of it. He did not enter the informantion for my reimbursement. I was told the branch manager would contact me about the matter. I received one quick voice mail After serval calls to Brandon I finally called the store to tell them he was not returning my calls. We finally connected and I gave him history of my problem. He said he would contact the AP for a check and let me know when they would pay it. After several days of no response I called repeatedly looking for information. As of yet, still no answers and the year is almost over.
Can you imagine if there was a problem with a brake repair the nightmare it would be to be made whole? Is this the type of store people would want to do business with? Consider carefully before going to Brakecheck.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of cost in amount of $182.94 as soon as possible since I have been out of pocket since Aug.
